Chaosfire met Foxtail in the air. She slammed her mighty paws down the warrior's side. She hissed into her ear, You have no chance against me, furball. Chaosfire lunged at her neck, teeth bared.

Foxtail fell from the air, paws outstretched. She rolled away from the rogue and heard the snapping teeth a whisper away from her neck. She sprang up and slithered down low, then bit down as hard as she could onto Chaosfire's back leg. She wouldn't let go, even though she could feel blood flowing freely.

[FIREH!!]

Chaosfire hissed as the teeth entered into her hind leg. She howled as blood flowed freely. She finally ripped her leg free and turned on Foxtail. Her claws flayed wildly, as she aimed them at Foxtail.

Chaosfire's madly aimed claws caught the side of Foxtail's cheek and tore it, blood spurting from it and matting her fur. She squealed quietly, then growled at the rogue. She focused her eyes on the rogue's shoulders and leapt, landing exactly where she had aimed. Sparing no time she sank her teeth deep into Chaosfire's neck, biting as if she were hunting prey, only a lot stronger.

[FIREH!!]

Chaosfire laughed as the fangs entered he throat. Blood spurted from her mouth as she spoke. You think you can kill me... But I have more lives, she rasped, Then I will flay you................................. A tide of black covered her eyes and she fell limp in Foxtail's mouth.

"Chaosstar. Open your eyes." It was Starclan.
"I am not Chaosstar." She replied. Chaosfire opened her eyes.
"You have lost your second life. You have seven left. I hop you become a better cat." all of Starclan meowed.
"Ha! You think I will e a better cat? Not until I get Serenityclan back!" She dropped into the black tide again.

Chaosfire awoke in Foxtail's mouth. Let go of me, She snarled, ripping herself free. Chaosfire, although weakened, leaped at Foxtail and sliced her claws down her side.

Foxtail lay, winded for a minute. Then she coughed once and sprang back into action. 'I will take all your lives if that is what is needed to free SerenityClan of your... your... chaos.' she whispered the last word, like it was a curse. At the same time of feeling burning anger, searing pain, she felt a throbbing pride that she had taken one of this rogue's lives. Foxtail was weakening though, and she didn't know how much longer she could go. She faced Chaosfire head on and slashed out, catching the rogue's ear. A nice nick was made and Foxtail smiled. She had never felt such bloodlust in her paws and she had a grim expression along with a burning fire in her eyes.

[FIREH!!]

Chaosfire laughed. There is irony in your words, Foxtail. My parents named me Chaoskit, because I was insane in the nursery. And now, it still stands true! She hissed, swiping a paw at Foxtail's ear, catching it with a claw. Her ear throbbed from the nick Foxtail made in it.

[fernie. (:]

Foxtail hissed, feeling her ear tear. She launched herself at the rogue and batted at her flank, though not in any way a playful gesture, as her claws were unsheathed and she kept scratching, faster and faster.

[FIREH!!]

Chaosfire's paws met Foxtail's, and she batted them away. Chaosfire leaped at foxtail, hoping to claw her.

Runningcloud weakly thanked Cloudedsky for her help, eyes drooping completely.

^{Ghostlywind lunged forward to help the SerenityClanner battle the tyrant. "I've seen the mayhem ya reigned in when ya were leader, Chaosstar!" he thundered, not knowing the rogue had changed her name. The lean black tom crashed headlong into the former leader. "Take a break, Serenity warrior. I'll take 'er on!" he growled. Blue eyes blazing like fire, the tom jammed his fangs into Chaosstar's hind leg and then retreated to avoid a kick. He sprang up to bring down his claws on the she-cat's face, attempting a mighty slash.}

Foxtail tried to dodge the claws but they connected with her shoulder and cut her flesh. Foxtail retaliated by slashing at the paw Chaosfire had used just now. She then slashed straight for her neck, hoping it would be a lucky shot.

[FIREH!!]

FOR THE LAST TIME, IT'S CHAOSFIRE! She howled, as teeth dug into her leg. She howled and turned to claw the Brightclan warrior.

Foxtail mewed a feeble thanks and dragged herself to the side of the clearing where a wave of exhaustion hit her, and she collapsed into blackness.

[(aurora) of the problematique]

^{Ghostlywind backed up, narrowly avoiding the swipe. He fell onto his back, but hastily rolled over. "A tyrant's real name never dies! It doesn't matter if ya change it or not!" he roared, leaping in her face with claws flying. He hissed, swinging for the rogue's face.}

Foxtail suddenly remebered where she was, and heaved herself up with a last scrap of energy. She crept slowly up behind Chaosfire andgrabbed her tail in her teeth, not letting go. Three could play at this game.

[FIREH!!]

Knowing Foxtail was weak, Chaosfire turned and slashed her claws down the she-cat's face. Then, she turned back, and feeling claws in her face, she shut her eyes to avoid having them clawed out. She hissed at the Brightclan warrior, I am no leader of a clan, therefore I am known as Chaosfire. Not as your little Chaosstar. She hissed.

Brindletalon pricked his ears at Foxtails words but then saw his leader being dragged into Morninghawks den. He watched Runningcloud go too but then spun round and attacked another rogue. He bit down hard on its neck. When the body went limp Brindletalon let go in surprise. He hadnt expected to kill the rogue. He kicked the body out of the way and sprang at another rogue. He could feel himself getting tired but he had to keep going. For SerenityClan.

Amberpaw smiled at the apprentice and turned to Cloudedsky. "Sorry for not making the poultice" she meowed, before taking a look outside. She watched Foxtail and then turned back to Cloudedsky again. "Cloudedsky, Foxtail just collapsed. She got back up again but she looks exhausted" she said worridly.

Jasminestar opened her eyes.
She had lost a life.
Oh no...where is Chaosfire?
She sat up slowly.
The poultice stung her scratches, but that pain was nothing now.
She looked round at Morninghawk and Cloudedsky.
I must go and fight.
So she stood up and bounded out of the den.
She noticed that there were a lot less rogues.
The only descent-looking cat, able to fight, was Chaosfire.
She ran forward. She gentlely pushed Foxtail aside.
Foxtail, this is my battle.
And with much energy, she pounced on the enemy she-cat.
Chaosfire! I will not let you win!

Pastelsky nodded to Morninghawk, scratching and nipping at the rouge until a tawny tail disappeared into the bushes. Nodding to the she-cat, Pastelsky followed her toward te medicine cat den.

^{Ghostlywind cackled maniacally. "Obviously y'ar not the leader of a Clan anymore, ya blasted tyrant!" he yowled and then saw Jasminestar coming back to join him. Jasminestar, y'ar well enough to fight again? The black tom may be crazy, but he could see the fire of StarClan in her eyes. This SerenityClanner is no fool, the tom smirked. He turned to the she-cat the leader had called Foxtail, the Clanner fighting with him. "She's right. Ya need a rest," he called before launching himself past Jasminestar. "I'm sure ya can handle her now, mate. I'm going to finish off some more rogues!" The lean black tom bounded off, heedlessly sprinting headlong into the fray.}

[FIREH!!]

Chaosfire leaped onto Jasminestar again, hissing. "You will never beat me!" She growled, clawing for her throat.

<sup>"May fire from DeathClan rain down on ya for y'ar insolence, ya pathetic excuse for a cat!" Ghostlywind roared, exploding into action. The lithe tom crashed into the she-cat rogue, claws peeling flesh from bone. The rogue fell away from him, dislocated foreleg wobbling helplessly as she screamed. "You'll pay!" the others hissed. "With y'ar lives!" the crazy black tom howled wildly, steel-blue eyes raging as he leapt over Thrushstar to barrel into the two pinning him down. Blood flew everywhere as Ghostlywind cackled, biting and clawing all around him without a heed to the injuries he sustained.

"If ya even think about killing my Leader, I swear a blood oath I'll slaughter ya and y'ar generations to come!" the tom snarled at the two remaining. They hastily turned tail and ran, yowling at their comrades. "Oy, Thrushstar! Ya okay, mate?" The wild-hearted black cat padded over to the BrightClan leader. The 43-mooner grinned, blood staining his fangs. "C'mon, mate, get 'er up." He pulled Thrushstar up so the other tom wasn't laying on his side. "Gave 'em a run for their squirrels, eh?"</sup>

Ooc: Aurora, I love Ghostlywind!!!
Bic: Foxtail sat for a minute, breathing heavily. She couldn't feel anything any more. Abother wave of blackness was beginning to wash over her, and she couldn't fight it. She collapsed again, but this time right in the middle of the battle field. She couldn't take it any more.

Cloudedsky meowed after Jasminestar, but wasn't heard in time. 'Foxtail? Where is she?' the medicine cat asked, then stuck her head out of the den. She saw Foxtail fall, in the middle of the clearing, surrounded by fighting and rogues. 'Oh for StarClan's sake, these warriors never know when to stop!' quietly seething, she padded confidently out of the den. Rogue or not, they should know not to hurt a medicine cat. Obviously not though, because a great, snarling tom came lumbering up to the white she-cat and flashed his claws at her. 'Back off you great furball, medicine cat or not, I can still give you some pretty nasty scars to think about!' and the rogue stopped in his tracks, a look of surprise on his face. Cloudedsky finally got to Foxtail through the mass of heaving bodies, and dragged her away to the medicine cat den. The ginger and white she-cat was hardly breathing as Cloudedsky set her down on a bed of moss. She quickly patted cobwebs and goldenrod poultice onto her wounds and squeezed the juice of various herbs into the she-cats mouth. Foxtail's breathing had started up stronger again, and she looked like she was slowly recovering.

[FIREH!!]

Stormfeather raced to Ghostlywind's side as he helped up Thrushstar. "Are you alright?" She asked her leader.

Chaosfire continued to claw the Serenityclan leader, time after time.

Jasminestar ducked her head, and pushed Chaosfire away.
About half of the scratches Chaosfire aimed at her connected, but she couldn't feel them at all.
All she could think about was defeating her in any way possible.
Maybe even taking all her lives.
She launched herself at Chaosfire once more, aiming for her throat and chest.
She aimed with scratches, fighting hard.
She was unaware of her surroundings;
All she could hear was her hard breathing.

^{Ghostlywind smiled faintly at Stormfeather, but before she could notice it, the lean tom followed Thrushstar. "Bring 'em down, mate," he drawled, making sure his leader didn't fall over. "Thrushstar's right. Y'ar gonna pay for this. Our clan'll rip ya to shreds!" The black cat hissed, blocking any rogue from attacking the BrightClan leader. "Eh, Stormfeather, wanna help--Watch y'arself!" Ghostlywind cut himself off to lunge at a white rogue jumping to kill the she-cat. The black tom yowled, ripping, tearing and slowly turning the rogue's pelt completely red before letting it go. "That'll teach 'im, the idiot. Ya okay, Stormfeather? Didn't claw ya or nothin', eh?" The fast cat grinned at the she-cat.}

Mouseclaw felt himelf buckle and fall the the ground as the blurry shapes of the BrightClan warriors thundered into the camp. His vision went black, and he coughed violently, unable to carry himself to the medicine cat's den. A rouge leaped at him, and he was sure this would be the end. He felt a pang for Pastelsky, but could not move at all, bloud forming a pool around him.

Pansyleaf screeched as she leaped into the fray, her eyes bright with the fury of battle. She bowled over the rouge that had leaped onto the helpless gray warrior and dragged him to the entrance of the medicine cat's den. Through his fur, she yelled. "He needs help!" She dropped him gently and pushed through the cats until she faced Chaosfire. "If we have to banish you again, we will!" She screeched as she pushed herself at the cat, claws out. She hoped to land on the cat's side and make her feel the pain that the other cats were feeling-- she had not felt enough yet.

[FIREH!!]

Stormfeather nodded to Ghostlywind. When she heard his warning call, she ducked. "He got me in the ear, but I'll be okay." She grinned back. Stromfeather pushed through the rogues and stood on Thrushstar's other side. "Brightclan! Form a line!" She called, knowing she shouldn't order them, but hoping that it would scare away Chaosfire.

Stormprowler turned and ran to Ghostlywind's side, and hissed at the rogues as they tried to fight off them. Too proud and strong they were to let some disgusting rogues beat them.

Murdercalling followed his father back to the line, and stood beside him. "Back off, scum," He hissed with so much venom in his voice, the rogues backed off and ran. The blood poured from wounds that were far from being able to be stopped, and he felt his life ebbing away, but he knew he had to stand. Fury and loyalty lent him strength, and the bleeding gradually slowed. He felt woozy on his paws, but knew he couldn't stop. He stumbled, but stood again.

Chaosfire stood, and pushed Jasminestar away. "Rogues! Away!" She cried. "This isn't over, scum." She hissed, before turning tail and fleeing.

Jasminestar threw one more scratch before letting Chaosfire run away.
She fell on her bottom, covered in scratches, blood and dust.
The rogue instantly untangled themselves from the fighting warriors
and fled with their leader.
Tired and wounded, she slowly leapt up on to the High Rock and let out a loud call.
Warriors of Serenityclan and Brightclan! Please come forward to listen to my words!

.ooc; Aww! I missed all the action!
.bic; Octoberlies felt the weight of three rogues begin to drive the breath from his lithe bdoy. The tabby gasped for breath, black stars filling his vision. The weight suddenly lifted from him, and he watched in dazed disbelief as Chaosfire and her rogues disappeared into the trees. The grey tabby tom attempted to get to his paws, but his limbs screamed with pain and his head swam. Hyenapaw... Where was Hyenapaw? Terror for his son shot through him, but his injuries prevented him from answering the desperate call at the back of his weary mind.

Cherrysmoke aimed a last blow at a white rogue, sending him yowling into the undergrowth. She limped over to the crowd of cats, standing beside Runningcloud. The pull of her kits sent thrills of alarm through her, but she was bound to answer first her leader's call. Hyenapaw crouched, shivering, beside the other apprentices. His shoulder was torn and his cheek bleeding but other than that he seemed relatively unhurt.
