Runningcloud nodded wanly. "Well...good luck, my friend. May StarClan go with you...," she told Cloudedsky before turning and lumbering back to Morninghawk's den. "Morninghawk, may I have some more tansy?" she called out tiredly.
Ghostlywind ignored his sister more so than the others. He looked around for Stormfeather, but didn't see her. He sighed and plodded off.

Brindletalon leant forward and licked Pastelskys cheek comfortingly. "Don't worry, they'll be fine. And Morninghawk is a great medicine cat, she knows what she is doing." he tried to smile but only achieved a weak attempt. He too was worried, but he needed to be strong for his friends. All of them.

Amberpaw dipped her head at Morninghawks words and then scampered after Cloudedsky. She kept running until she was beside her mentor. She waled along for a while but eventually she had to talk. "Cloudedsky i was useless wasnt I? I couldnt do anything and i just got in the way" she said sadly, looking at the ground. She had felt so helpless when the battle was going on. Cloudedsky and Morninghawk just got on with it but she had had no clue what to do and had just watched. What kind of medicine cat cant even do her job, to help others? Cloudedsky smiled slightly at Amberpaw. 'You weren't useless. You helped that SerenityClan apprentice, when Morninghawk and I were too busy with others. You were a great help, Amberpaw, seeing as you've only just started your training.' she said, eyes gleaming with pride at her apprentice.

((Should we skip to sometime in the evening where everyone's at least mostly settled out? Jasminestar can address the clan in their bravery or something of that nature to finish off the meeting from the night before. *shrugs*))

Jasminestar finally opened her eyes.
It was nighttime. Almost everyone was lying around in the clearing.
Most cats were dozing off, including the few Brightclan warriors left.
She slowly got up, her wounds aching. At least most of the pain was gone.
Carefully, she walked toward Runningcloud.
She whispered quietly to her.
Runningcloud, please escort those Brightclanners home, unless they to stay.
Or, rather, pick someone else to do so.
I'm going to have another meeting, just a few more words about the battle.
You might want to attend, and encourage everyone on.
She smiled, despite the pain.

Patselsky's ear flicked as she heard Jasminestar talking to Runningcloud a few fox-lengths away.
She had fell into a dreamless sleep, but had just been waking up and beginning to clean her wounds. 'I can do it," she meowed, stretching her aching bones and walking over to Jasminestar. Anything. Anything at all, if it meant not having to see Octoberlies and Mouseclaw sleeping with the now-slim chance that they may never wake up. "I'm sure there's a few BrightClanners well enough to tell me which way their camp is, and I'm not hurt that badly." she stretched again, licked a paw, and waited for Jasminestar's reply. [/center] |

Runningcloud's tail swept around her large paws as she nodded to Pastelsky, but she glanced at Jasminestar. "Pastelsky, some others, and I will wait until the meeting is over. I promised Cloudedsky I'd bring back her dead personally...and that young tom Murdercalling passed," the broad she-cat said gravely. Runningcloud frowned and looked up at Silverpelt for assurance.
