Runningcloud yowled for her leader. "SerenityClaaaaaaan!" she roared, lunging at a calico rogue. The she-cat swiped the other in the ear before swinging around for a body slam to the chest. Runningcloud hissed, hastily overpowering the smaller younger female. "Long live Jasminestar!" she growled, slamming her claws into the calico's neck and chest. Her pelt gleaming with thick blood, the deputy raced to the medicine den. "Morninghawk, do you have enough herbs? If not, I suggest you make a run for the forest while I hold them off!" she declared.

((lol well I put it in there because of the "war" premonition XD))
Runningcloud's ears perked and she noticed Jasminestar and Chaosfire had stopped fighting. Between them stood a strong tom with the air of a leader. Her jaw dropped. "Thrushstar?" she said breathlessly. The deputy knew of the power within the gray-brown cat and although he was smaller than she, Runningcloud knew her place.

Cloudedsky rushed into the midst of the confusion in SerenityClan camp. She ran quickly to Morninghawk, then dropped the herbs she had brought at his feet. 'I brought as much as I can, and my apprentice, Amberpaw, is bringing more.' she said while panting. |

Jasminestar gave Thrushstar a long stare.
Something about him, she knew he was a leader.
A young one, like herself, in fact.
Thrushstar...
She nodded.
I am glad you are here. Serenityclan needs your help.
She looked over Thrushstar's back and gave Chaosfire a hard stare.
Now, Chaosfire, you not only have Serenityclan to deal with,
but also Brightclan.
She smirked slightly.

Brindletalon flew through tthe camp entrance and skiided to a stop next to Jasminestar. "The rest of BrightClan are coming. Thrushstar decided that him, myself, Cloudesky and her apprentice Amberpaw should come ahead" Brindletalon panted, dipping his head to both leaders. He hissed at Chaosfire and drew himself up to his full height. This fight was about to get better.

Amberpaw ran into the camp. She saw Cloudedskys tail disappearing and guessed that was where the medicine cat den was. Quickly weaving through the cats she dropped her pile next to where Cloudedskys were. "Sorry" she mumbled, before dipping her head to Morninghawk. She glanced around and saw a small ginger she-cat with a chest covered with blood. She padded over to her. "Are you ok? Does it hurt a lot?" she asked. She then remembered that she was a medicine cat apprentice. "Uh, would you like some poppy seeds to ease the pain?" she asked again, glancing at Cloudedsky and Morninghawk to make sure that this was ok. [/center][/color] |

Chaosfire looked at the Brightclan leader and sneered, You expect your clan to be able to strive under your leadership when you are unsure you can defeat me? She swatted a paw at the leader.

Jasminestar nodded at Brindletalon, before
sneering slightly at Chaosfire.
Unsure? We know we can defeat you.
She stood in a battle stance, but she wobbled slightly on her feet.
Now, are you going to stand there like the pathetic cat you are,
or are you going to fight?
And then, she slithered underneath Thrushstar and launched herself at Chaosfire.

Chaosfire howled as the younger cat leaped at her. She quickly flipped around in the air, and scored her claws down the leader's side.
Murdercalling raced into the clearing, yowling. He charged at a rogue and sent howling away.
Stormprowler followed his son and leaped into the fray.
Stormfeather ran into the clearing and stopped. The rogues are running! She whispered, watching some rogues leave.
Suddenly, bloody rogues filed into the clearing. They made a ragged circle around Jasminestar and Chaosfire, making sure that no one could interfere. Though they were bleeding and in pain, their loyalty to Chaosfire made them able to come back. They had even pushed out Thushstar.

The recently made ginger and white apprentice, narrowed her pale hazel orbs in mistrust and a mixture of pain toward the other she-cat, the strong scent of Brightclan hitting her scent glands, and although she knew they were called to help she couldn't help but feel uneasy around them. Proud around other clans Emberpaw was, the Brightclanner's question made her answer through clenched teeth trying to keep the pain out of her voice. "I am fine." She lied, but her words seemed a doleful whisper. Embarrassed, nervous and uneasy she bent to lick her bloody white chest, and evade the gaze of the other cats. |

Pastelsky breathed a sigh of relief as the BrightClanners arrived. Thank StarClan, she thought as she franticly looked around the field of battle. A large, tawny rouge was headed toward her, amber eyes narrowed. Screeching as she felt claws scrape her back, Pastelsky fliped around and tried to bite the she-cat - anywhere would work.
Try as she may, Pastelsky couldn't make her teeth come in contact with fur or flesh. Thats when it happened - she felt jaws close on her shoulder, dangerously close to her neck. She wrenched away, feeling the fur rip from her skin. Hissing, she backed away from the dangerous rouge. Her shoulder burned, and she flung her head around in a desperate attempt to find the cat in charge of treating injuries - Morninghawk. [/center][/color] |

Brindletalon yowled his defiance at the band of rogues circling his leader. He joined Thrushstar in fighting them off, leaping onto the back of one and slashing his claws down its back. The tortie rouge yowled and rolled ontp its back, sending the circle of rogues into disruotion as they tried to manouvere around the battling cats. Brindletalon stayed on top of the rogue until he felt its body grow limp. He slashed its face once more and then leaped onto the back of another rogue. The rogue again flipped onto its back and Brindletalon attcked again. If he could keep this up, with some help from the other cats, then the rougues would be in so much disruption that somebody could get in to help Jasminestar!

Amberpaw shrank back from the apprentice. "Well, would you like to lie down, like Morninghawk said? If you would rather not then..." Amberpaw trailed off before noticing a pile of cobwebs. She swathed some on her paw and walked over to Emberpaw. "This will stem the bleeding" she said, looking through the ginger cats chest hair before she found the cut. She gently but firmly pressed the cobwebs on and then stepped back nervously, hoping that the she-cat wouldnt be annoyed at her. [/center][/color] |

Suddenly, three rogues turned around and leaped onto Thrushstar.
Chaosfire continued to rake her claws down the leader's spine and flank, laughing as she did so.

"Jasminestar!" Runningcloud yowled furiously, yanking down rogues from their places. "Stand aside, you StarClanforsaken bastards!" The injured deputy was strong and fierce, but numbers took a bit of a toll and she couldn't push her way to defend her leader. She bit one grey tabby straight on the muzzle, taking the other's nose into her mouth and crunching down hard. "That'll teach you!" she snapped as the tabby screamed and ran off to another place.
She heard the meows of the rogues near her and saw Brindletalon fearlessly charging them. "Nice work, young warrior," Runningcloud said, wearily batting a black rogue away from the tom.

"Brindletalon, I need to help Thrushstar!" Runningcloud said, panting. She looked around for openings in the rogues, but there were none. She turned to the warrior. "This...will take a lot of strength, but I...will hurdle from your back over these rogues. I know I'm taking a chance: I might not make it, or they claw my belly, or I'm too heavy. We just need to try." She looked at the tom. "Are...Are you with me?"

Foxtail pelted around the clearing after sending a large black rogue running for safety. She sighted Thrushstar seething under two rogues and she immediately leapt at them, not fearing death. If she died in this fight, it would have been fighting for her Clan. She fought blindly at one of the rogues at Thrushstar's neck, slashing and biting. The rogue suddenly got behind Foxtail and clubbed her in the head with one massive paw. Her head reeled- all she could see was great black spots for a minute. She blinked and staggered slightly, then remembered where she was. She screamed in agony and anger and jumped onto the rogue's back, gouging it's sides with her back claws. She bit down hard on its neck and and drew blood. She bit down harder even when she could feel the rogue writhing beneath her, struggling to get free. She finally released it and it sprinted from camp, trailing blood from a steady stream in the back of its neck. She turned to Thrushstar and the other rogue. 'Thrushstar, are you alright?' she asked, whist darting in and out, nipping at the rogues heels. |

Brindletalon stood on his hind legs and saw Foxtail with Thrushstar. "Foxtail's handled it" he shouted above the din. He turned and leapt on top of another rogue, apying a scar on its shoulder and clawing at it to open it up again. The rogue yowled in agony and ran hobbling from the battlefield. Brindletalon darted back to Runningwind. "You can still go back over if you want but I could really use a hand. I think what we are doing is working and we need to get to Jasminestar" he panted, slamming his paw down on a rogues nose who just happened to be passing by. Brindletalon looked at Runningwind eagerly, willing her to stay and help. After all, she was a very strong warrioress.

Jasminestar pushed Chaosfire away, like a toy.
She sat up slowly, and coughed violently.
Then, she jumped on top of Chaosfire, only to to fall limp.
So...weak...
She turned her head, looking at all the rogues that surrounded them.
They had jeering faces.
She rolled away from Chaosfire, her chest heaving.
She kicked and scratched, but nothing really hit Chaosfire.
A black wave was washing over her eyes, and it took all her strength to keep it away...

Foxtail left Trushstar to deal with the rogue when she saw Jasminestar fall. No! she thought, sprinting over. 'Jasminestar!' she mewed. 'Don't worry, we can handle this. I'm getting you to a medicine cat.' she said, and with that she grasped her leader by the scruff of her neck and dragged her to the side of the clearing, then stood in front of her weak leader, shielding her from attacks. 'Brindletalon! Get a medicine cat, quick!' she yowled. |

Runningcloud nodded when she saw Foxtail rush to the scene. "Right," she agreed. "I'll stay here then unless I'm--!" She broke off, hearing Foxtail's yowl. "Do as she asks. I'll try to make a path for her!" The deputy leapt to her feet, slamming past two brown and white rogues to break through the wall. "Foxtail, over here!" Runningcloud yelled, but the wind was knocked out of her by a large ginger tom who bowled her over. She screeched in pain and anger, trying to kick him away.
Her claws clenched and she swung blindly. Talons connected with a soft jelly-like substance, and blood crashed down. "What happened?" she whispered. The tom screamed curses at her as gore poured from his slashed eyes. His paws wildly waved over his face but he could not be saved. Runningcloud pushed the tom aside, but the others seemed to ignore her. They were intent on watching the leaders fight.

Foxtail sighed, glad that Runningcloud was making a path to the den. She grabbed her leader by the scruff again and dragged her through the blood soaked dust. She saw a rogue sneaking up behind her and she lashed out blindly with her hind legs, and a satisfying thump followed the connection with flesh. She sneaked a look backwards and saw a ginger rogue shaking its head. She carried on with her leader, lashing out occasionally. Trying to be as gentle as she could, she set Jasminestar down in a large pile of moss in the medicine cat's den. The journey from the other side of the clearing seemed to have lasted forever, but it was over. Foxtail looked down and saw a steady stream of blood coming from her paws, and three front claws missing. There were lots of other wounds on her battered body, but she didn't car right now. 'Jasminestar, you'll get through this. Hang in there!' she gasped, then turned to limp out of the den.
Cloudedsky gasped as Jasminestar was dragged into the den. 'Oh, StarClan...' she whispered. She hurriedly grabbed some cobwebs and thrust them at Amberpaw. 'Cover the bleeding until we can make something better.' She then chewed up some dark green herbs and levered the leader's mouth open, then putting the herbs in and massaging her throat until she swallowed. 'After that Amberpaw could you make a goldenrod poultice? Be quick about it.' she said in a quiet voice. Then she looked up as Foxtail was leaving the den. 'Come here Foxtail, I'll see to your paws soon. Stay in here, you can't fight like that.' she said. |

It stung sharply, the herbs the Brightclanner had placed on her chest, but she sustained the urge to yowl, and to snap at the she-cat. "It stings.." She murmured through gritted teeth. She noticed the medicine cat apprentice back away carefully, and realized that she might have been very rude to her... but it was natural for her to distrust other rival clans. She sighed in relief as the blood began to cease, and her pale hazel orbs softened her gaze with gratefulness. She nodded in thanks, and suddenly wondered where would the Serenityclan medicine cat be. As the other Brightclanner spoke her gaze turned abruptly toward the den's entrance to see her leader being dragged inside the den. She also caught the name of the she-cat that had helped her. Amberpaw.. thanks. She thought, but did not speak out-loud; silently she prayed to Starclan for all the wounded clan cats to be alright. |

Jasminestar wriggled in Foxtail's grasp.
No! I must fight!
She was dragged into the medicine cat den.
When Foxtail let go, she scrambled up.
Let me go back!
But then she fell back on to the mossy nest, and immediately, hit black.

Jasminestar opened her eyes.
She was in a large hollow.
She stood up.
The hollow was empty for a moment, then Starclan warriors suddenly filled the hollow.
They were all faint, just like her leader ceremony.
One Starclanner came forward.
It was Fazestar.
Welcome, Jasminestar. You have lost your first life.
Jasminestar shook her head vigerously.
I must go back! Chaosfire is attacking! She'll take over!
It was Fazestar's turn to shake her head.
Your body must rest. You must wait only a while longer.
Jasminestar began to pace.
Fazestar, will Chaosfire defeat me?
Fazestar watched Jasminestar.
Starclan cannot tell you. You will find out soon enough.
Fazestar bowed her head, and a moment later she nodded.
Now you must go back. Let Morninghawk and Cloudedsky take care of you.
Then fight.
Jasminestar nodded.
Then, Fazestar turned back and joined Starclan.
Their bodies were almost invisible.
All in one voice, they said:
Goodbye, Jasminestar. Care for your clan, and have faith.
And suddenly, she awoke.

Cloudcedsky stood back from the leader. 'She is in the paws of StarClan now.' she mewed quietly. As Jasminestar awoke, Cloudedsky looked up. 'How do you feel?' she asked, though it was a stupid question. She made the goldenrod poultice herself, as Amberpaw had been dealing with another patient. She layered it on all the c uts and wounds on the leaders body, including the long gash down her flank and shoulder from Chaosfire. 'Don't worry about your Clan; you have great warriors, as do BrightClan. The rogues are slowly backing down.' |

Runningcloud stumbled in, her large tabby body soaked with her and rogue blood. "Jasminestar...is okay?" she asked breathlessly, eyes hazing over. "I... That's good..." The deputy dropped to her stomach before slumping over in exhaustion at Jasminestar's feet.

Ghostlywind's lithe black body sped past his fellow BrightClanners to barrel into rogues. Sadistic toothy smiles scored his face as he lunged for the face of a wiry-haired rogue. His maw exploded with hungry cackles as the tom kamikazed into the wall of rogues. "Thrushstar!" he growled, blue eyes glaring at Chaosfire as he stood by his leader. He was no deputy, nor did he wish to be, but he knew very well that if Thrushstar was killed, he would take matters into his own paws: Every damn rogue would have its throat slit. The loyal tom hissed, kicking another tom in the face when it tried to jump after him. "Fools..."

Cloudedsky nodded at Runningcloud as she came in. 'Jasminestar lost a life.' she said, then sprang to her feet as the deputy collapsed. She patted fresh goldenrod poultice onto her wounds and gave her some light green herbs to swallow. 'Lie still.' she said quietly. |

Chaosfire laughed horribly. I swhall take a life! then another! and how many it takes to kill you! She cried. Swinging a paw downwards, she struck Jasminestar one more time before thee leader was dragged away. Chaosfire leaped at Foxtail, but missed. Don't take her away, I must finish her. Chaosfire howled. ROGUES ATTACK! She cried to the circle containing her.
