Firestar
Firestar shook her pelt and staggered to her paws. She needed to talk to her clan. Now. So she pulled herself up onto the Raven's Ledge and hollered out. Let all cats old enough gather here for a clan meeting! She cried, looking around. Immediately, she noticed a tom exit the warriors' den and sit in front of the rock, waiting for her to announce. Firestar flicked her tail in greeting to Orochiclaw, who nodded in return.
Firestar went back to her memory of seeing Shakenleaf. She smiled to herself. Her mate was okay. She opened her eyes and looked around, hoping to see him pad out of the warriors' den. But he had died many moons ago, and would never exit that den again. Firestar shook her head, angry at herself for letting her get her hopes up. He was dead. She'd only see him in dreams now. She looked down at her cats, and took a deep breath.
ooc;; If your cat needs to be warriorfied, apprenticefied, or mentorised, tell me please!!

morguepaw HE padded out of the apprentice's den, slowly but surely growing sick of the same old musty smell of adolescent cats. His long-legged self walked over to the Raven's Ledge, sitting ever so tirelessly. Maybe today he would become a warrior. He wanted to be one so bad. And he could impress Daisyflower with his new name also! She'd probably happy to know he was a warrior like her!
MORGUEPAW thought to himself quietly, his head bowed slightly so he could look at his paws. He dug his small paws into the soft earth and yawned. He noticed Orochiclaw and smiled at his clanmate.

ooc;// I'm simply just going to act like Porphyrykit is an NPC since no one auditioned for her. Can you apprentice my Cambriankit and Brook's Earthkit?
bic;// I will never let you fall cardinalspire I'll stand up with you
forever Cardinalspire stretched out happily and padded out of the warrior's den, smiling cheerfully when the strapping young warrior saw that Firestar was gathering a meeting. The tom wondered where Wovenknot was, but shrugged. She would come out whenever. Instead, he turned his attentions on locating Roseglade. He checked inside Dancinghare's den. "Roseglade?" he called.Cambriankit And Shepherds we shall be For thee, my Lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti. The tom had fallen asleep by Pearlblade's side again, as he rarely slept in the nursery. Earthkit was usually up 'til all hours of the morning collecting his damn lint, and Cambriankit could barely sleep. Now was no different. He had been keeping Pearlblade's elder nest warm while she was gone. He would hate for her to catch a chill when she returned.
The tom's large ears perked when he heard Firestar call out a gathering. He mewed balefully, unable to attend, so he just sat by the elder's den entrance.Crestedfire
Stay here with me together we'll be stronger Side by side we've conquered lands and stormed across the seas A massive frame of orange staggered out of the medicine den, towering over Cardinalspire as he passed. Shy and meek Crestedfire looked up at Firestar as the gathering was called, and the loyal tom looked to Spectreflame for comfort and support until he could stand for long periods of time without weakness. The tom winced slightly, his beautiful eyes glinting in pain that he tried to hide so that he didn't look so weak. He fell into his typical slouched-over position of being bashful.
Die here with me we feel this pain no longer For now and ever we will be

Darkmagic The black and white she-cat raised her head as she heard Firestars call. Her kits were still very young so she didnt go right outside for the meeting, just sat in the entrance of the nursery, every so often looking behind her to check they were alright. Her hazel eyes turned to the ginger she-cat sat up on the Ravens Ledge, her leader, ready to give the meeting. Darkmagic looked around the clearing, her eyes searching for her mate, her kits father. She wondered if Saintcalling would come and sit with her or if he would not be able to see her in the nursery. She shrugged and looked back up at Firestar, ready to listen. Roseglade The orange she-cat bounced out of the den as she heard her brother calling her after Firestars call. She skipped over to him, her eye that could see bright and happy, even though her other one was cloudy. "Hey Cardinalspire!" she said to her sibling brightly, touching her nose to his with a grin. She looked around quickly, having to spin her head to allow her only working eye to look everywhere. "Hey Cardinalspire, have you seen Spindlespider anywhere?" she asked him, looking about for the grey tom eagerly. [ooc]Wolfness shall we just pretend they were already back from their hunt?[/sub]

Leaves dangle, Black from the fire. Leaves were scorched.
Scorchedleaf
Scorchedleaf padded out of the Warrior's den, looking around. He spotted his apprentice, Cyanpaw, and went to sit next to her. He saw Cagedfaith and gave him a friendly nod. He looked at his apprentice. 'Hello, Cyanpaw. How are you today?' He mewed. He looked back up at Firestar, then to where the deputy normally sat. He felt a thorn of grief stab him as he remembered the former deputy, Sorrowfrost. She was his daughter. He missed her everyday. Scorchedleaf shuffled a bit so he could see Firestar better.
I feel the wind, I feel the rain. Like a dove I am, Flying through the air.
Dovefeathers
Dovefeathers followed Scorchedleaf out of the Warrior's den. She looked up at Firestar and smiled at her. She made her way toward the front of the clearing, so she could see the ceremonies. She was very proud of apprentices becoming warriors. It made her happy to see Moonclan grow strong.
ooc;; Raven, are Cyanpaw, Emeraldpaw and Aerialpaw getting their warrior ceremonies, because I don't think that Emeraldpaw is ready yet.

Ooc;; Cyanpaw has had more training than Aerialpaw and Emeraldpaw. Remember? They were in the medicine cat's den, because they were injured? So maybe Cyanpaw could become a warrior and Emeraldpaw could stay as an apprentice for now.

Has something happened?!
I couldn't help but shiver at the thought. It was a rough life we lead, and anything could happen at anytime. Although I trusted Firestar to lead us through anything, I still tended to worry when I need not. It was rather frightening to think of it all as a kit, when you see warrior's go out on patrol unscathed yet when that patrol returns they bring with them a lifeless carcass. It was ever so easy to be injured, and death was on the brink of the horizon. We could never be too careful when we lived the way we have chosen, and although I have nothing against it, I do have my worries about becoming an apprentice myself. Yet I know these worries are needless, as it's fully possible to live a long life; just look at the elders. I do enjoy their stories, but they tend to scare me at times. Maybe I'm just not cut out for this type of life.
I was unsure as to whether my mother wanted me to attend, so I remained frozen in place. Couldn't really say I wanted to move, I was rather comfortable here outside the nursery and had few intentions of moving anytime soon. After all, I was a kit, and my responsibilities would come after my apprenticeship, until then I intended to enjoy my free time. Thats not to say I wouldn't work hard as an apprentice, because I planned to be perfect for my mentor. I would work out any flaws I had, there was no reason to upset my mentor when they would be working hard to make one such as myself suitable. Of course I didn't really believe in perfection, but my meaning of such was to be the best apprentice possible, I didn't mind if it meant staying up all night to practice, it was all worth it in the end.
But when will I have the chance...
Of course, as per usual, I spoke to myself. The soft murmur that would be inaudible to any was still a comfort to me. Where as many chose to social, I felt as though I failed miserably in that area. I knew it was something I had to work on, and I would in time. What I spoke of was merely my thoughts, I had little idea as to when my apprenticeship would begin, and I was excited yet hesitant. An odd mixture of feelings maybe but I felt them none the less. I suppose it would be normal of me to be delighted and gleeful at the prospect but then again I wasn't exactly normal to all standards. I was Shadowkit, the curious one who spent much time lost in thought. It was as curiosity got the better of me, that I inched closer to the other clan members, I wanted to know what was going on, maybe it wasn't bad at all.
SHADOWKIT and now its coming clear, that i don't need you here

// Dawnpaw needs her warrior name, please. ^^ Can you choose one? I like surprises. dawnpaw The leaves surrounding the apprentices' den twitched as Dawnpaw padded out from between them. The black and white she-cat's coat was flat and neatly groomed, but her round sapphire eyes looked sleepy, giving away the fact that she had been deep in slumber only moments earlier. The youngster stretched luxuriously and padded forward, her white paws making no sound on the grass. She smiled politely at Cyanpaw, Emeraldpaw's sister. The black and white cat looked around for her best friend, but couldn't locate him. Feeling a little disappointed, Dawnpaw approached Cyanpaw tentatively. "D'you mind if I sit here?" she asked, indicating the space beside the pent-up looking she-cat. Dawnpaw wondered why the other apprentice looked so excited. Then it hit her. Of course. Cyanpaw was old enough to have her warrior name. Then something else hit her. So was she.
But what about Emeraldpaw? He had been injured in the medicine den for some time, so hadn't recieved as much training. Would he recieve his warrior name, too? She wasn't sure that she wanted to be made a warrior without him. She didn't really have any other friends. Her mentor. Saintcalling, wasn't exactly the sort of cat she'd want to hang out with. Not that she didn't respect him... Dawnpaw blinked as she thrust herself out of thought. She needed to pay attention to the ceremony, and stop worrying. wovenknot Wovenknot limped out of the warriors' den, her steel-coloured tabby fur looking freshly groomed and her light blue eyes wide awake. The MoonClan deputy surveyed the camp, her expression pleasent. The she-cat padded from the shadow of the ferns, her three paws making barely a sound on the short green grass. As she passed her mate, Cardinalspire, Wovenknot brushed her pelt against his. She carried on walking, but shot the ginger-coloured tom a loving look over one shoulder. All of MoonClan knew about them now. They had seemed shocked, but, thought Wovenknot, they'd have to get over it. She loved Cardinalspire, and she wasn't going to stop loving him just because of a small age gap. The deputy assumed her usual place beneath the Raven's Ledge, sitting upright, her ears neatly pricked. spectreflame The heavy footsteps that belonged to Spectreflame greeted her arrival. The white she-cat had just returned from a sucessful hunt - a pigeon dangled from her mouth. As the longhaired warrior padded past the fairly ample fresh kill pile, she tossed the bird expertly onto it. The she-cat smiled as she trotted past the nursery. She could hear the piping voices of her sister's kits inside. Ravenclaw's litter were growing up past, all of them with a different personality attached to them. It was Sunsetkit and Sunrisekit who intrigued her the most, the mysterious little dark-coated twins. Spectreflame's light blue eyes fell on the huge ginger form of her own mate, Crestedfire, and she approached him. The hardy warrioress pressed her muzzle against his. before giving him an encouraging look.
The she-cat sat down, swinging the newly-shortened tail that gave away her fight with the Tribe. Spectreflame peered up at Firestar, her eyes growing troubled. Was it just her, or did the leader seem tired, and almost... Haggard looking? Spectreflame glanced around the camp, but nobody else seemed to notice anything.

I glanced over my shoulder, its not like I was expecting someone to come anyways, so I really had no reason to. I suppose it was because I always liked to know what was going on around me, and when. It could possibly be a flaw of mine, this need to know, but it came in rather useful. Even to close my eyes, I could easily tell what was going on, because I had paid attention from the moment I arrived. To my right was a flock of birds, minding their own business, just perched on the trees. To the left was the vast expanse of grass and dirt, which seemed to be thinning and yet few paid attention, but maybe I was the only one who noticed those little details. I stopped dead at the entrance to the camp as Firestar's call echoed within my mind, a clan meeting eh? Well I had best go see what this was about.
I couldn't help but wonder if anyone wanted me near them, I was a critic, and more so to myself then anything. Maybe this was something my father drilled into my mind, that I couldn’t do anything right. I was always wrong in his eyes, nothing was done right. I couldn’t be perfect, I didn’t believe in perfection. I did my best and that just wasn’t good enough for him. I didn’t need to clog my mind with these thoughts. It was foolish to think it would ever change anyways. Nothing I could do but accept it; like I accepted everything. I could only play the cards I was dealt, and some hands were better then others. I mean of course, you cant always have the winning hand, right? I suppose that was my point all along, nothing was perfect. We could always wish for things to be that way but wishing would get you nowhere, or so I saw it. If you really wanted something done, you usually had to do it yourself or not at all. Oh I was quite the optimist now wasn’t I? Just downright peppy.
I chose to select a secluded area that was more distant from most of my clan-mates than most, it gave me time to think anyways. Although right now I would quite enjoy sleeping, there were more important things to attend to, like this meeting that had been called. Firestar was a great leader, and I calued what she had to say yet the worndown look that she gave off pierced my heart, she did so much for us and yet I imagined it was ever so hard for her. I could only admire her for keeping on, no matter what abd luck had befallen us in the moons past, she would be a leader that MoonClan would surely never forget so long as we were to exsist.

Spindlespider I just wanna live...A streak of grey flew from the warrior's den, stopping near to the other cats. The gangly tom sat down, wrapping his tail around his paws, and looking up at Firestar, listening to what she had to say. Spindlespider tapped his paw on the ground, bobbing his head up and down, wondering where Roseglade was.
After a while, the long-legged tom grew impatient and, hoping no one would notice, reared up on his hind legs, looking around for the she-cat. Where is she?! He then spotted the ginger she-cat talking to her brother. Aha! The tom dropped back onto all fours, then quickly hurried over to the two cats. "Hi Cardinalspire," He meowed, then turned to Roseglade, "Hi Roseglade." He smiled warmly at the she-cat.

Firestar And now you haunt my waking life. I see you in the shadows, Stalking me until my death.
Firestar's eyes scoured her clanmates until she noticed the apprentice. Today was the day. Three apprentices would recieve their warrior names. Summoning up her strength, Firestar stood and began the ceremonies. At first, her voice was shaky, but it grew stronger as she continued on. Today, we have four apprentices who are in need of becoming warriors. Emeraldpaw, though you are at the age, you have been injured and forced to take time off of training. You will be let out soon so you can finish your training. But the clan needs to know that you almost gave your life to save them, and we thank you. She dipped her head to the apprentice, took a deep breath, and continued on. Morguepaw, Dawnpaw, Aerialpaw and Cyanpaw, step forth. She called out.
Morguepaw, you have proven yourself worthy to become a warrior, and now I reward you with your name. I know you will uphold the warrior code until your death, so I shall give you your name. Morguepaw, from this moment, you will be known as Morguefable. Moonclan recognizes you because of your sense to do what's right and we welcome you as a full warrior of Moonclan. Firestar rested her muzzle on Morguefable's head before turning to Dawnpaw.
Dawnpaw, you have proven yourself to be a loyal warrior to Moonclan. I reward you with your name. Dawnpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Dawntale. We recognize you because of your loyal spirit, and welcome you as a full warrior of Moonclan. She rested her muzzle on Dawntale's head, before turning to Cyanpaw.
Cyanpaw, you too have proven yourself to be a warrior. From this moment on, you will be known as Cyanfeather. Moonclan recognizes you becuase of your tireless energy and we welcome you as a full warrior of Moonclan. She rested her muzzle on Cyanfeather's head, then finally turned to Aerialpaw.
And finally, Aerialpaw. You have proven yourself warrior-ready, and I reward you with your name. From this moment on, you will be known as Aerialcircle. Moonclan recognizes you because of you strength and we welcome you as a full warrior of Moonclan. Firestar rested her muzzle on Aerialcircle's head before backing away.
ooc;;Kuri, if you don't like Aerial's name, let me know.

morguefable HIS paws shivered with joy as he stood. It was time! He pricked his ears with excitement as he recieved his warrior's name. "Morguefable..." he whispered. The name rolled off his tongue. It felt good.
"Moonclan recognizes you because of your sense to do what's right and we welcome you as a full warrior of Moonclan."
THEN he froze. For doing what was right. It all rushed back to him. Reality. His secret meetings with Daisyflower. Those weren't right. They'll never be right but he was in love, how could that possibly not be right? He sat down slowly, trying to shake the thoughts away but he couldn't. Morguefable was a sinner.

cyanfeather She thought, smiling softly, looking towards her brother and smiling she licked her much larger brother's muzzle and let a small purr out. "We're warriors! Can you believe it?" She asked, then stopped. Emeraldpaw wasn't with them. Neither were Toxicpaw or Eruputionpaw. She turned to the leader, taking a step forwards. "F-firestar...my brothers, Toxicpaw and Eurputionpaw, they should have been here...and they died without getting their warrior names. Would you..." The new warrior trailed off, not sure how to ask her leader to give her brothers their warrior names. [/ul]

Earthkit Out of the dark lonely shadows of the nursery a graceful quiet tabby tomkit padded into the light of the clearing. His pelt was well groomed and he felt ready to take the next step in life...
NOT!
Actually, to be truthful, a long-legged, dirty, tabby tomkit tumbled out of the den, fuzz and moss hanging from this pelt. He was recently moving his pile across camp, one inch at a time, but most of his collection either blew away or was stuck to him. Earthkit... He didn't really mind it. His mother hadn't been keeping an eye on him and he easily got away with being cleaned before his ceremony. He didn't want to be an apprentice because apprentices were no fun! He put on the poutiest face he could and thumped down next to Cambriankit. He tried to stay quiet, so his brother wouldn't get mad at him like usual. He didn't even sleep in the nursery anymore and it hurt Earthkit's feelings more than Cambriankit would ever know.
"Its not fair! I want to stay a kitten forever..."

Emeraldpaw
Emeraldpaw sat down for the meeting. He gazed around him as he saw Moonclan come to the meeting. He looked and stood up when his name was called. He nodded at Firestar before sitting back down. He heard his siblings' warrior ceremonies. He darted over to Cyanfeather and Aerialcircle, nudging both of them. 'Congratulations, Cyanfeather and Aerialcircle!' He cried excitedly. He looked over at Morguefable, mewing congratulations. Then he found Dawntale. 'I'll be back.' He mewed to his siblings, then made his way to his friend's side. 'Dawntale. Congratulations. I can't believe you are already a warrior!' He mewed, happy for her. He butted her shoulder affectionately. 'You have to take me out hunting, and we can go on that walk now! You can make sure of it!' He purred, excited for her.

//. Sapphire's litter and Ice's litter are to be apprenticed..... they were born a few hours apart so it wouldn't matter..... and I was sternly ordered by Iceh to play Firekit if it came to her apprenticeship....MudfurA brown tabby femme joined her clan-mates at Firestar's call, her fur ruffled up from her long-awaited dream from her brother. The tabby sat by Scorchedleaf, nodding her head in greeting to the tom, Cagedfaith, and Cyanpaw, the femme waited for the meeting to start. 'Morguefable! Dawntale! Cyanfeather! Aerialcircle!' Mudfur chanted for the newly named warriors, more brightness for MoonClan. SorrowflightA gray and white male padded after his sister, his gray ears pointing in the direction of the nursery. The male looked back to find Shadowkit creeping up behind the warriors in the back, he could see in the nursery entrance his older brother was as well trying to sneak out as well as their sister. Today was their 6th moon as well as his cousins and e hoped Icefrost has gotten them ready for their ceremony. Sorrowflight headed towards the 3 kits as 4 apprentice's became warriors, the night green irises of the male glowed at the thought of new warriors then his mind turned back to his kits. 'Shadowkit, Wolfkit, Firekit, come with me' The gray and white male smiled at his kits and moved toward his sister again. Wolfkit._.FirekitA black and silver male and an amber femme tried many times to sneak out of the nursery and they couldn't believe their eyes when Shadowkit did. The 2 kits started to make their way out of the nursery when their father came over to them, 'Great StarClan! How many times are we getting in trouble?' The black and silver male looked at his sister with ice-blue irises as the amber she-kit looked at him with annoyed green irises. The kits looked up in surprise as their father told them to come with him, Wolfkit and Firekit didn't look to see if Shadowkit was coming and sat behind their aunt with wide eyes.

Shardfeather Touch me, it's so easy to leave me All alone with the memory Of my days in the sun Something was wrong. There was definitely something wrong with Firestar. She wasn't letting it on directly, but the waves emitting from her were slow and weary feeling, and her voice sounded a bit more ragged than usual. Sure, she was growing a bit old, but that happened so suddenly. Focusing his sense of smell on her, he scented rogue. Shardfeather didn't recognize the scent of the cat, but it was female. Good, Firestar wasn't having secret meetings with a new mate. But still he wondered... Shaking away the thoughts, the impaired feline proceeded into the clearing. He scented the air to locate to main gathering place. He intentionally sat farther from the crowd, not that it would matter to anyone else anyway. He had no friends, no one really cared about him as far as he could tell. But then he noticed another smell; Larksong. She was just as much of an outcast as he was... Maybe they could be alone together? Timidly and slowly enough, he sidestepped until he was about a tail-length away from the she-cat. "Err, hi," he mewed, his head down towards his paws. His made many gestures as this if only to fit in a little more. His large pointed ears swiveled back and forth. He only caught snippets of the leader's dialogue, for he was lost in thought, and a bit focused on the reply to hopefully come. Yes, a friend would be nice...[/blockquote]

I hadn't been expecting this sort of thing, but I did appreciate it none the less. I had dreamt of finding someone to accept me for who I was, a friend. Though I was a social outcast, I attempted to make up for it with hunting and battling. I was grateful that he was giving me a chance, or he was merely bored. Either which way, it was a nice change from my usual course of loneliness. Though I did enjoy time alone every now and again to think, eternal loneliness was something that i could hardly stand, yet had to anyways.
Whatever the reason was, I spent my days alone for the most part and that was that. Maybe I wasn't putting in enough effort. It could just be all my fault, and I'm sure it was, I just wasn't good enough for anyone else here and somehow their acceptance was needless. If they couldn't accept me as is thats their problem, I wasn't about to change myself for anyone. Yte if somehow Shardfeather here could accept me, well thats one friend right? Thats better than nothing, and from what I had witnessed, he did seem rather decent to me. But maybe that was all an act? I doubted it, he seemed true to himself.
Oh...hello Shardfeather, enjoying your day?
The words came as a soft, melodic murmur as per usual. Though it was audible, the soft tones were merely a part of who I was. I had never been the loud, energetic type. I glanced up at him, then suddenly remembered it wouldnt matter, he couldnt see me anyways. Yet my gaze remained on him for a few moments before dropping again, it was my usual nature to be hesitant around anyone, I had never quite gotten over the tendency. It was a benefit that Shardfeather was blind, I couldnt hold eyesight which could be potentially embarassing for myself. I found myself uncaring if he could see or not, did it really matter? Not in the least.

abysskitA gray-blue male sulked out of the nursery, his fur all cleaned and sleeked down to perfection. It was his day to become an apprentice and he would rather spend it in a dark and lonely corner, the gray-blue tom followed his second cousins and sat next to Mudfur. He still couldn't believe that his sister was picked to be Dancinghare's apprentice, today she would move into the medicine cats den and he would move into the apprentice's den. This would possibly be the worst time of his life, his heart wasn't it's usual hyper self but he had to live with it. The 6 moons old tom-kit looked up at his leader with aquamarine eyes, he didn't really want to face any other mentor then Dancinghare but he guessed it wasn't his decision and he guessed it wasn't the destiny that StarClan laid out for him.

dawntale Dawnpaw swallowed nervously as her name was called out. She turned to look nervously at Emeraldpaw, before stepping forward. The black and white she-cat stood, trembling slightly, next to Cyanpaw. Excitement filled her, though it was tinged with nervousness. She was moments away from becoming a MoonClan warrior, the thing she had been anticipating since her arrival here. She had gone through so much. She still missed her brother, Midnight, who had decided to stay behind in the twolegplace. She had endured teasing because of her kittypet past. But now she was ready. She was going to be a warrior! Dawnpaw listened nervously as Morguepaw became Morguefable. She smiled at the other young cat, though her insides felt as though they were made of extremely hyperactive worms. Dawnpaw gasped as Firestar spoke her name. She was next.
The black and white she-cat raised her head, trying to look dignified despite her nerves. She swallowed, blinking awat her fear. And then, there it was. Her warrior name. She wasn't Dawnpaw anymore. She was Dawntale. The she-cat licked Firestar's shoulder respectively. As she turned and padded back into the crowd, her slim white paws trembled. She listened as Cyanpaw became Cyanfeather, and Aerialpaw became Aerialcircle. Then she turned, hearing Emeraldpaw's voice. She touched noses with her best friend, her sapphire eyes shining. "Yes," she mewed, laughing shakily. The youngster looked at her paws. "Emeraldpaw, I'm sorry that, y'know... But I'll still come and see you, I promise, it won't change anything... And... I'll stand by you until you get your warrior name."

In all honesty, Cambriankit wasn't too sure he wanted to be an apprentice either. Pearlblade and the other elders needed him. He felt a certain...bond with them, something he couldn't explain. Was it like...he could communicate through silence? That his actions truly did speak louder than words? He began to reconsider his thoughts on apprenticeship. Perhaps he could still spend time with the elders even then. He sighed heavily, wishing that he could make a decision without constantly thinking about it.I will never let you fall cardinalspire I'll stand up with you
forever He blushed fire-hot when he felt Wovenknot's pelt brush against his as he absently walked by her even as he was looking for her. However, his attentions now turned to his seated position and his sister. His tilted his ear as she asked a question; the tom meowed a yes. "I saw him in the warrior's den," he said. "Look! There he is now." He smiled cordially as Spindlespider approached the two and greeted them cheerily. The warrior smiled at his sister before proceeding to cheer the names of the new warriors. "Good, our Clan is becoming stronger." Cardinalspire smiled in approval.Crestedfire
Stay here with me together we'll be stronger Side by side we've conquered lands and stormed across the seas He felt a gentle muzzle press up against his, and the colossal male lifted up his head. Crestedfire's ears warmed at the sight of his mate as he returned the gentle nestle-against. "My love..." He sidled up next to her with a muffled grunt of pain and rested his head on her strong shoulder, closing his eyes. He was so exhausted that he couldn't even open his mouth to cheer the names of the new warriors. A large tear slid down his nose as he realized that he was back to being weak again.
Die here with me we feel this pain no longer For now and ever we will be

Of course, Eaglecry was there, sitting farther in the back. He wasn't in the greatest of moods, nor did he want to really be bunched up right in front of Firestar. Dappled coat bristled slightly, and he ran his tongue over his chest quickly. So, there were apprentices becoming warriors today, that was good. At least, for the Clan. He shook his head, wondering why he was in such a foul mood? Was it because he was having Tawnysky-withdrawls? Sighing at the thought of the pretty she-cat from CloudClan, he let his blue eyes go to his paws, the sounds of everyone else dimming to a faint buzz in his ears. Firestar
When the tear drops start to fall, I will be there to dry them. I will be the shoulder to cry them. On the darkest nights, I will be the light.
Firestar's eyes turned to Cyanfeather and she dipped her head in understanding. She pulled herself onto the Raven's Ledge. Before I start the apprentice I would like to honour two apprentices who should be sharing this day with their siblings, Cyanfeather, Aerialcircle, and Emeraldpaw. Toxicpaw and Eruptionpaw gave their lives in service to the clan, and I will honour them by giving them their warrior names so while they are in Starclan, they will be recognized as warriors. Toxicpaw will be known as Toxicclaw and Eruptionpaw will be known as Eruptionflame. Firestar bowed her head for several moments, as if telling the clan to have a silent moment in recognition to the two new warriors.
When she lifted her head, there was pain in her eyes from her wounds, but she had enough strength. She could tell her clan could noticed her pain, but she still kept it hidden. I would like to thank Dancinghare, who has replaced Falconfeather as medicine cat. He is doing a terrific job as medicine cat, and I hope he has more luck that Minnowmask and Falconfeather. She dipped her head to the new medicine cat before continuing.
Cambriankit, Earthkit, Topazkit, Remedykit, Abysskit, Harmonykit, Firekit, Sapphirekit, Mimekit, Wolfkit, and Shadowkit, please step forward. All six of you have reached your sixth moon, and it is now time to give you your apprentice names. Cambriankit, until you recieve your warrior name, you will be known as Cambrianpaw. Your mentor will be Dovefeathers. Train him well, so he may be a credit to the clan. Firestar smiled at the new pair. Then she turned to Earthkit.
Earthkit, you too have reached your sixth moon, and until you are a warrior, you will be known as Earthpaw. Cardinalspire, even though you are a newer warrior, you have proven yourself ready to recieve an apprentice. You will be mentor to Earthpaw. Train him as Wovenknot trained you, so he may be an excellent warrior. Firestar dipped her head, and turned to Topazkit.
Topazkit, your sixth moon has come. Until you are ready to recieve your warrior name, you will be known as Topazpaw. Doveflight, you have proven yourself a ready warrior, and a perfect choice for a mentor. Train Topazkit as well as I trained you, and he will be a warrior the clan will be proud of. She smiled before turning to Remedykit.
She took a deep breath. The leader was getting tired, because she was wounded and exhausted from her fight. But she needed to do this for her clan. She released the air from her lungs in the form of a sigh, bfore continuing.
Remedykit, it is your sixth moon, and you are ready to become a apprentice. From this day until you become a warrior, you will be known as Remedypaw. Foxmark, you have proven yourself ready to be a mentor. You will be mentor to Remedypaw. Train her to be a strong warrior like you. She smiled again, before turning to Abysskit.
Abysskit, you have reached your sixth moon. From this day until you reach the time to become a warrior, you will be known as Abysspaw. Spectreflame, you have trained apprentices before in the past, and they always become warriors the clan is proud of. I hope you can do the same with Abysspaw. She smiled at the pair, before turning to Harmonykit.
Harmonykit, you have reached your sixth moon. But you have picked a special path. I have already discussed this with Dancinghare, and he says yes. You will be the new medicine cat apprentice. Until you are ready to become a full medicine cat, you will be known as Harmonypaw. Dancinghare, train her well so the clan can stay healthy with you two. She sighed, and smiled at the apprentice before moving to Firekit.
Firekit, it is your turn as well to become an apprentice. Until you have earned your warrior name, you will be known as Firepaw. Cagedfaith, you have proven yourself to be a ready mentor, and that is why I trust Firepaw to you. Train Firepaw well. She smiled before moving to Sapphirekit.
Sapphirekit, you have reached your sixth moon. From this day until you have reached your age to be a warrior, you will be known as Sapphirepaw. Mudfur, you are ready for an apprentice. Train her well, so she may be a credit to this clan. She nodded her head before moving to Mimekit.
Mimekit, you too have reached your sixth moon. From this day until you become a warrior, you will be known as Mimepaw. Shardfeather, you have proven yourself worthy to mentor this young one. Though you are blind, Sorrowfrost taught you well. Pass on all your knowledge to young Mimepaw. She dipped her head to the pair before turning to Wolfkit.
Wolfkit, you have reached your sixth moon. You will be known as Wolfpaw until you earn your warrior name. Spindlespider, you are more than ready to be a mentor, and I hope you train young Wolfpaw well so we may recieve yet another loyal and brave warrior. Firestar smiled, before turning to Shadowkit.
She was getting tired, and knew she had to finish soon, before she lost all her energy. Shadowkit, you have reached your sixth moon. Until you become a warrior, you are to be known as Shadowpaw. Our clan needs warriors soon, as too many have died from the Tribe and the constant threat of rogues. I will train you myself, Shadowpaw, so we may speed up the training. She leaped down and touched noses with Shadowpaw, before leaping back up onto the rock.
Earlier today, I was out patrolling by myself, and I caught the scent of rogue. I followed it and found Rio, Hexx's daughter. She stopped speaking for a moment. She shuddered as she remembered the hatred glinting in the she-cat's eyes before she killed her. The rogue attacked me from behind and took a life before I had time to call for help. When I awoke, she was gone. She meowed. I want extra patrols near the big tree, and if you catch her there, run her. I want no training done there until she is gone for good. She is a vicious rogue, and will have no mercy, so don't take new apprentices there on the patrols, and I want the patrols to have four warriors just in case. She dipped her head, finally finishing the report.
Finally done the meeting, she flicked her tail to dismiss her clan. When she tried to leap down, she slipped and ended up slithering down the side of the rock. When she landed at the bottom, she didn't bother to get up, she was so tired. Dancinghare? She called. Can you help me? She finally stood and shook herself, before sitting down in a tired heap.[/sub]

spectreflame Spectreflame pressed against Crestedfire, and licked away the tears on his cheeks with surprising gentleness. "It's okay," she murmured. "It's okay." The longhaired she-cat looked up at Firestar, her light blue eyes narrowed. There was definately something up with the ginger she-cat. She did not raise her head in pride, as she usually did, and her voice sounded oddly tired and defeated. Spectreflame listened quietly as Firestar called out the new apprentices. She smiled in surprise as her name was called. She had very much enjoyed training Roseglade, and she had become a warrior the clan could be proud of. The she-cat stepped forward, brushing Crestedfire's chin affectionately with her shortened tail. She approached Abysspaw, and touched noses with him. She noticed his sulky expression and frowned. "What's up?" she mewed. Now, you should know something. I don't like little sulkers, okay?" There was a hint of warning in her voice, but her light blue eyes remained friendly. She didn't want to fall out with this young tom, but she really disliked ungrateful youngsters.
At Firestar's news, the longhaired she-cat gasped. She'd known something was wrong! "How dare she!" she burst out, blue eyes narrowed in anger.

I feel the wind, I feel the rain. Like a dove I am, Flying through the air.
Dovefeathers Dovefeathers looked surprised when she was named as mentor to Cambrianpaw. She padded over to her new apprentice. She looked at him. 'Hello, Cambrianpaw. I will mentor as best as I can.' She mewed kindly as she leaned in to touch noses. The green of your eyes Tell me a story of sorrow. The gentleness of your tone, Tells me something different. Emeraldpaw Emeraldpaw looked at his best friend. 'Dawntale, I'll always stand next to you as well.' He mewed, warmth filling his voice. He felt no regrets for not being made a warrior yet. If Firestar had decided to make him a warrior, he would have asked her not to. Emeraldpaw did not feel ready to become a warior just yet. He sat next to Dawntale as he called out the new apprentices and congratulated them. [/sup]

Dancinghare You had demons to kill within you screaming...The silver striped tom had been watching Firestar with an anxious look in his bright hazel eyes, but then went to greet his new apprentice. He stopped before Harmonypaw and, smiling softly, gently touched his nose to hers. "You are going to be a great medicine cat some day. I'm honored to have you as my apprentice." He said quietly, before stepping back.
Dancinghare then listened as Firestar explained about her fight with Rio, his eyes wide. As she dismissed the clan, then slipped down the rock, asking for his help, the sleek silver tom rushed on graceful legs to her side. He looked her over worriedly, before speaking. "Do you think you can walk to the medicine den, if I help you?" The gentle tom asked, his head tilted to one side, causing his tall ears to flop to one side aswell.

Shardfeather Touch me, it's so easy to leave me All alone with the memory Of my days in the sun "I suppose you could say that."Sure, he was having a pleasant day, despite the fact that he hadn't talked to anyone at all. Of course, things were always like that for Shardfeather, so he didn't really consider it a downcast. Nothing particularly horrible had happened to him, so he was having a fine day in his terms. The fact that he was speaking to anyone made it great. His ears perked as mentors were given to the new apprentices. He hadn't expected to become one of the trainers, but Shardfeather couldn't help but feel a little despondent. After all, he was older and more experienced than some of the warriors. But then again, he wouldn't be great at teaching his apprentice to hunt or fight or anything. He was useless.[/blockquote]

Topazpaw was dissapointed that that he got stuck with the paranoid cat. He padded into the medicine cats den to see his mentor, even though he wasn't to happy. 'Hello Doveflgiht. When are we going to start training?' The small apprentice had a big fake smile across his face. He's paws twitched with anticipation even though he had Doveflight as a mentor. Topazpaw sat down with his tail around his paws.[/blockquote][/sup]
