Earthkit Sighing, the tabby kit clucked his tongue and nodded slowly. He looked almost solemn for a second when Cambriankit spoke in his serious solemn tone. But that thought totally left him of not wanting to be an apprentice when he started thinking about how much fun it would be to train! He could finally leave camp without being yelled at. He could explore and learn how to fight and train. Grinning, he bounced around Cambriankit. "Who do you want your mentor to be?" he asked quietly, but he looked as though he was having a hard time controlling the volume of his voice. As usual.
His brother didn't have any time to answer before Firestar started to talk, and Earthkit totally forgot to listen to his brother's answer. He was too wrapped up in finding out who his mentor was. "Cardinalspire? Who's that?" the newly named Earthpaw asked no one specific. The apprentice looked around wildly for any cat that looked like a Cardinalspire or someone that would answer his question.

I nodded slowly, then realized he wouldn’t be able to see that response to his statement. It was hard in some ways to get accustomed to his disability, I had to constantly remind myself to be more vocal then I might usually be. Though I often felt like an idiot when speaking to anyone, I would have to put those feelings aside in order to communicate with Shardfeather. Though it was a task I found the be difficult to endure, it was all worth it in the end. I wanted a friend of some sort more than anything, and I had to admit, he seemed a worthy candidate. It was all worth a try anyways, better then never making an attempt. I could fail and know I did my best as opposed to give up and possibly miss out on something ever so wonderful, I had to try.
Mhm...if your not too busy right now...would you like to go hunting with me...or something...
Though my words were soft like usual, there was a slight confidence behind them, as if I was sure I wanted to do this. I cared little of his blindness, in fact I admired him for becoming a full warrior regardless. The strength, courage and perseverance he showed was inspiring. One day I would surely have to tell him how he inspired me to do just as well. Though compliments were just as hard for me as general chit-chat, they were not so hard for me to think of, it was the action of actually saying that them was hard. Merely because I often wondered whether they would be proud of what I admired. I kept the compliments I thought to myself more often than not.
I flicked an ear in Firestar’s direction, hardly noticing who had been apprenticed to who, or what may have happened. Though it wasn’t an intentional action, I had drowned the leader out this whole time. Most days I was able to concentrate on many things at once, and yet this conversation sidetracked me. Whatever it was, the reason truly confused me. But I didn’t need the answer to everything, sometimes things went unanswered and unknown…but that’s just how life is.
LARKSONG ;; A pebble in the water makes a ripple effect Every action in this world will bear a consequence

Firestar
I wouldn't have nothin', If I didn't have you.
Firestar looked up at Dancinghare and shook her head. She could carry herself to the den. So she struggled to her paws and staggered to the Medicine den. Once she reached there, she collapsed into a nest. I don't know what it is. Rio only gave me one wound. Why am I hurting so much? She asked Dancinghare, while she licked her paws.

Firepaw jumped to her feet. She was excited that she gets to learn to fight now. She watched as Cagedfaith walked toward her. 'This is going to be fun.' Firepaw had an evil smile across her face. 'So when are we going to start the training?' Her little voice was so cold an evil.[/blockquote][/sup]

The coldness of your green eyes Tell me a story of sorrow. The gentleness of your tone, Tells me something different.
Emeraldpaw
Emeraldpaw looked up as Firestar honoured his siblings. He called out their names with immense emotion. 'Eruptionflame! Toxicclaw! Eruptionflame! Toxicclaw!' He yowled out. He looked over at Dawntale. 'So, what are you going to do with your new freedom?' He asked, trying to get his mind off of his fallen siblings. He felt upset, but needed to hide it. [/blockquote]

ooc;; I thought Roseglade was really badly hurt? Nah, Firestar'll be fine. When the next batch of kits are ready for apprenticifying, Roseglade'll be a mentor.

<{Harmonykit}> The small mirror of her mother gladly touched noses with her new mentor. She was excited to have the honor to become Medicine cat apprentice but she wasn't fully happy either. Her twin, she saw was sulking and even though she knew she was supposed to stick to her mentors side, she padded over to Abysskit's side. "You'll become a great Warrior, brother." She told him, pressing her nose to his shoulder. "Please, don't be upset with me." She pleaded, her eyes full of sorrow at the thought of her brother becoming angry at her for becoming what he wanted.

AbysspawAbysspaw looked at his sister with aquamarine eyes, his muzzle lifting up in a smile before he answered. 'You deserved that position as much as I did.... make me proud sister' The blue-gray male straightened up and made his way towards Spectreflame. The small male looked up at the white female with round eyes, he reached up and touched noses with her before bounding off back to his sister. 'It's okey that you got the medicine cat mentor, I got the awesome warrior that fought in the Tribe battle' Abysspaw beamed at Harmonypaw showing her that he moved on, even though he knew that she knew he didn't.

** I was away and couldn't get on to post it. Don't sue me. [: I love the name Fireh. <3 Oh, and on a weird note... how do the cats know that Dawntale's suffix is -tale and not -tail? xD
Aerialpaw jumped just about a foot in the air when he heard Cyanpaw and his names being called. "But whaddabout Emeraldpaw?" he meowed instinctively, turning to look at his brother. He didn't protest any more after meeting Firestar at the Raven's Ledge and recieving his warrior name, however. Emeraldpaw's time would come... this was his. He felt blood pulse through his ears, nearly drowning out the chanting of his new name. Aerialcircle... and Cyanfeather. It worked so perfectly. The only thing that could make this moment any better was if Emeraldpaw was recieving his name with them, and if...
He smiled suddenly as Cyanfeather spoke up, asking to honor their siblings. Not only was he proud of his sister, he was overjoyed that four out of three living siblings - anyone outside of MoonClan would not have understood that statement, he noted with a grin - got to have their warrior ceremony. He found himself feeling happier hearing Toxicclaw and Eruptionflame's new names called out more than he had his own. They did get to become warriors, after all!
---
Chartreusesteps sat at the meeting, noticing with a flick of her dirt-colored tail that she had unwillingly chosen a spot beside Cagedfaith. Why did it matter, anyway? She couldn't be sure... She listened patiently as the ceremonies were called, but blinked when Emeraldpaw was not asked to recieve his warrior name. Was she unfit as a mentor, as Cagedfaith had said? Her confusion was expertly masked by her stony form and finally was put to rest when she reminded herself that Emeraldpaw had missed a moon of mentoring. She faced her apprentice once the cheering had died down and cut into his and Dawntale's conversation.
"Well, then, Emeraldpaw, we'll just have to keep working." there was, surprisingly, nothing unpleasent to her tone, in fact it was almost uncharacteristically warm. "If you are willing to work hard, I can get you to become a warrior like your siblings before the next gathering." [/blockquote]

Cambrianpaw And Shepherds we shall be For thee, my Lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti. Cambrianpaw bowed politely to Dovefeathers. "Greetings," he said quietly, his ears bending back in reverence for the older warrior and aunt of the deputy, Wovenknot. He lifted up his head and turned to his brother. "Cardinalspire, he is the ginger tom over there with the green eyes. He's about a year or so older than you. Here he comes..." Cambrianpaw flicked his thin bony tail over to the aforementioned tom as he approached the two.I will never let you fall cardinalspire I'll stand up with you
forever Cardinalspire smiled as his name was called, and he padded on over to the two skinny toms. "Hello there, Earthpaw," he greeted his apprentice cordially, touching his nose to the young tom's shoulder. "I hope I can make your apprenticeship as enjoyable as mine was with Wovenknot." His kind smile was as warm as the color of his fur.

DoveflightA silver and white female lay near the entrance of the medicine cats den, just inside of it. The beautiful fae was still recovering from her brothers death, she was good enough to train but her mind was still in a haze, she needed to come back to the gloomy world she lived in and an apprentice may do just that. The silver and white fae looked at Topazpaw with her almost crimson red irises. Her red orbs showed no emotion as they searched the amber males eyes, they didn't show the excitement he sounded. Doveflight snorted in disgust, 'You don't think I'm capable of being a good mentor! You better start thinking wrong because I'm the only one that can protect this clan from them! I have to protect myself and my clan from Ghost and Halo! Dove doesn't want to die! Her Ghost says to stay alive! SHUT UP!!' Doveflight heard laughter in her mind, it sounded icy and dead but she wanted to shut it up. The silver and white fae looked at Topazpaw with crazed red irises, 'We start training tomorrow, just as long as the sun is up' She dismissed the amber-golden male so she could gather her jumbled thoughts. WolfpawWolfpaw let out a little whisper of laugh that sounded as evil as his sister looked. 'Don't give your mentor to much trouble sister, we can send them running for their lives before their through with us' An evil smile crossed the black and silver male as he made his way towards Spindlespider. The males ice-blue irises glowed with mischief and destruction as he sat in front of Spindlespider and touched noses with the older male. 'When will we start my training,' Wolfpaw looked at the tall light gray male with his innocent smile that looks more troublesome then sweet.

Emeraldpaw
Emeraldpaw heard someone talking to him. Chartreusesteps. He bounded over to her. He stopped and sat down. 'You can really train me fast enough that I could get my warrior's name before the next gathering?' The excitement in his voice was not missed. He was truly excited, but sad when he realized that he wouldn't be able to train with possibly the best mentor he's had since he was apprenticed when he became a warrior. He nodded to his mentor, meaning that he wanted to train harder. 'I'm up to it if you are.' He mewed happily. [/blockquote]

'Come get me when you are ready to start. I will be in the clearing or in the apprentice den!' Topazpaw ran out of the Medicine cat den.[/blockquote][/sup]

dawntale Dawntale smiled warmly at her friend's words. She touched her soft black nose to his cheek, her sapphire eyes gleaming with happiness. She watched as several kits were made into apprentices, somw standing tall, others trembling, their fluffy little tails quivering with nerves and anticipation. She remembered the feeling, except it had been different for her. She had been Moonlight, anxious that the clan would not accept her because of her kittypet past. But they had done. And now she was a warrior of MoonClan. Dawntale couldn't help raising her head a little. "I don't know," she mewed. "Hey, I can order you around now! I-" Her voice faded as another voice ran over it. The black and white she-cat shot Chartreusesteps a glare, expecting her best friend's mentor to start snapping at him again, but her words shocked Dawntale.
She sat silently, trying not to listen to their conversation. She didn't want to intrude on their training time. The new warrior glanced at Emeraldpaw, but then looked away. She instead watched one of the new apprentices, Topazpaw, who looked very sulky and disappointed at his choice of mentor.

earthpaw Earthpaw was too busy searching the crowd for cats that were coming toward him, or someone that he could pick out as a Cardinalspire and he really didn't hear Cambrianpaw's description of his new mentor that well. But as a ginger tom came padding over to where the two brothers sat, Earthpaw knew this had to be his mentor since Dovefeathers was Cambrianpaw's. The ginger tom said hello and touched his nose to his bony shoulder. This had to be Cardinalspire since it was a greeting that all mentors were giving their apprentices. Earthpaw's gray eyes grew wide with excitement and he bounced up and down rapidly. "You were trained by Wovenknot?! She's Deputy! That's so cool!" the newly named apprentice exclaimed, running around the ginger warrior a couple times. His excitement had reached an all time high.
"When do we start?"
