Moonmist padded out of the warrior's den. She yawned and looked around. I slept in, darnnit! she yelled at herself in her head. She walked over to the nursery, Moonmist noticed two kits who were very dusty. "Seems like I missed a party," she smiled.

Moonmist sat down beside Littlefoot and started to groom herself. "Beautiful day today, isn't it?" she said as she tried to start some small-talk. Moonmist licked her paw and brought it over her ear.

A sleepy Brokenkit woke up from behind the nursery. Crawling through a hidden hole in the wall, he watched Sunheart bounce around the nursery with her kits. Tears came to his eyes as her thought about his dead mother. If she was still alive, would she have played with him like that?
Shaking his head, he walked out the front entrance and bumped into Littlefoot and Moonmist. Looking flustered, he blushed and muttered, Sorry. [/blockquote] |

Littlefoot smiled at Moonmist. "Yes. Quite." Yewkit gasped and finally broke free of her mother's grip. "Hiya, Brokenkit!" She giggled, bouncing toward him. Littlefoot sighed. "Don't get dirty, dear, I just cleaned you..."
OOC: Lonely, Brokenkit can become adopted by Littlefoot- she adopted Mottledkit in the plot.

Daintyfoot smiled gently, her tail wrapped around her small paws. 'Yewstar' and 'Dovetune' were having great fun playing with their 'badger'. Brokenkit looked sad, but she didn't need to know why - his mother had died. She thought about her own mother, now with StarClan. She never really thought about it much - she had a lot of work as a warrior. Silent, quiet work, because her shyness had always gotten the best of her.

Sunheart laughed at everyone coming and said her hellos. "I'll be right back, guys," she called and then nuzzled Dovekit. "All right, let's go get some food for the others. What would you like to get for Moonmist and Littlefoot?" The ginger she-cat stopped at the fresh-kill pile not far from the nursery and hopped up for a good look. "How about a squirrel and a rabbit?" she suggested to Dovekit with a lopsided grin.

Brokenkit looked up. Hey, Yewkit... But Yewkit already left with Sunheart and Dovekit. Sighing, he layed down outside the nursery, his black fur soaking up the morning sun. He turned his face away from the others, another tear falling down his cheek...I wish I had friends.

Moonmist stood up and walked over to Brokenkit. She laid down next to him and rasped her tongue over is small ear, "What's wrong, Brokenkit?" She licked his cheek, cleaning away the tear. Purring quietly she smiled at Brokenkit.

Sunheart smiled at Dovekit and nodded, picking out a fat rabbit. "Here, can you take this starling for me?" she asked, nosing the bird to him. She grabbed the rabbit in her jaws and waited for Dovekit before loping back to the group. "Here's some food, Littlefoot and Moonmist. Yewkit, Dovekit, and Brokenkit can have some too. Daintyfoot, would you like some of my starling?" the kind small ginger she-cat offered.

Moonmist laughed lightly, "Thank you for the prey Sunheart and Dovekit," she thanked the two cats. Moonmist continued to groom the kit. "You know, sometime I wish I had a kit of my own," she said, sighing. She finished early with grooming Brokenkit, for she could tell he wasn't very comfortable with her grooming him. Moonmist took a bite of the rabbit.

Sunheart stood protectively over Dovekit with him between her paws. "Don't worry. I've got you," she said quietly. She couldn't wait until she could be a queen and play with her kits. She hoped to be a proud mother of EclipseClan. Maybe Yew'star' or Dove'tune' would mentor her kittens someday. She grinned at that thought.
She bent down to groom Dovekit's head. "Thank you for playing with Yewkit and me today, Dovekit," she purred with a smile.

Petaldance padded over to the fresh kill pile and picked out a vole. She looked around and saw a crowd of cats by the nursery. Petaldance wasnt normally good with big groups as she was quite shy but she went over anyway. She sta down next to Daintyfoot. Hey Daintyfoot. Wanna share?" she asked quietly, nudging her vole so that it sat between her and Daintyfoot. She knew that Daintyfoot was quite shy too so she wondered if they would be friends. She smiled at the she-cat and dipped her head to take a bite of the vole. The wonderful scent and taste filled her senses and she closed her eyes quickly, savouring it. [/center][/color] |

Corbynkit turned away from the others, feeling himself flinch away from the queen's touch. His eyes narrowed at the sight of Dovekit, and his lips parted in a slight snarl. Snorting, he turned. Attention seeking... Corbynkit sat and watched through slits of iris. His smoky grey plume of tail swung as he sauntered outside. His set jaw and cold eyes deflected other looks.
