The scent of blood, curling into the EclipseClan camp on a cold breeze, was the first announcement that the clan were home. They seemed to be a much smaller group than the determined, proud cats that had left the camp that morning. At their head walked Amethyststar. Her black-velvet pelt was marked with scratches and bites. The worst, a deep bite on her throat that had caused her to lose a life, was hidden by the gently swinging body of Sunheart. Amethyststar bore her grand daughter's body loyally back to camp. She could feel the sluggish tick-tick that showed her Sunheart still clung to life.
Amethyststar dropped her head to butt her way through the glossy green ferns protecting the circular clearing. The she-cat carried Sunheart to the medicine den, and laid her carefully and regretfully down upon one of the soft nests that Littlefox had put together in preparation for any injuries. Amethyststar then turned and headed towards the Shaderock. Her injuries bled freely - she was not been seen by a medicine cat. She didn't care if all the blood in her body swam like a river over the earth. She didn't much care that this was her last life. She felt entirely responsible for the cats now lying dead or injured; Crowtalon, Sunheart, Pantherstealth, Lonepaw...
The small she-cat leapt powerfully up onto the shimmering slab of rock. The spiked points stabbed her paws as she did so, but she ignored the pain. It was barely a smudge of what her clan was feeling. Was she a bad leader? She had led her clan into a battle that they couldn't possibly win. It was as bad as forcing them to fight blindfolded. Amethyststar watched the cats that had stayed in camp spilling from the dens like droplets from a river. She waved her tail for silence as stricken wails rang out. She knew cats would want to see their loved one's. But she had a duty first.
"Cats of EclipseClan," she mewed. She was surprised at how cracked and rasping her usually-strong voice had become. The sturdy she-cat cleared her throat, the blood bubbling in her wound, and continued. She caught Littlefox's eye as she did so, and wondered whether the medicine cat had yet realised that she had lost a life in the battle. "I am sure that you want to hear about what has happened. I am sure you would like to be with our lost one's. But I have a duty, first." Amethyststar watched several cats ignore her and bolt to the bodies of friends and family. She couldn't blame them.
"Maverickpaw, Mahoganypaw, Sphinxpaw and Toweringpaw, come up here please," she mewed. When the four approached, she continued. "I, Amethyststar, leader of EclipseClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Maverickpaw, from this moment onwards you shall be known as Mavericksky. I clan honours your bravery and strength, and we welcome you as a full warrior of EclipseClan." Amethyststar's green eyes switched onto the next apprentice. "Mahoganypaw, from this moment onward you shall be known as Mahoganyflight. The clan honours your loyalty and your intelligence and we welcome you as a full warrior of EclipseClan." Her gaze moved on. "Sphinxpaw, from this moment onwards you shall be known as Sphinxtale. The clan honours your compassion and your courage and we welcome you as a full warrior of EclipseClan." Amethyststar's eyes finally grazed Toweringpaw. "Toweringpaw, from this moment onwards you shall be known as Toweringheart. The clan honours your determination and your hope and we welcome you as a full warrior of EclipseClan." The leader licked each new warrior between the ears, before sitting down, her tail wrapped carefully around her paws.
// Sorry for making them warriors so soon. I wanted to do it before Sunheart dies. If you don't want them to be warriorified so soon, I'll change it. After Amethyststar explains about what happened, she will make Cascadekit, Rainbowkit, Puzzlekit, Firekit, Yarrowkit and Maplekit apprentices. *deep breath*

bic;; Mahoganypaw looked up to see her clan returning. She jumped up to greet her mother. Then a horrifying sight caused her to cry out. 'Mama! No!' She slouched to the ground. When she saw Amethyststar come out and go to make an announcement, she only half-listened. Then she heard her name. Walking unsteadily to the clearing, she looked up to her leader with blank eyes. 'I do.' Mahoganyflight went back to her spot. It's not the same. She's not watching... Tears dripped from the she cat as she thought of her lost parents. At least they're happy now...[/sup]

Prophecypaw_x Propheypaw padded into camp after his mentor, his eyes searching the crowd before looking up at Amytheststar. His gaze flicked across the newly names warriors. He watched as Mahoganyflight padded away from the group after receiving her name. With his head cocked to the side, he limped over towards her, flicking his tail at her. "Mahoganyflight....such a pretty name. You should be proud of yourself" He mewed, his voice soft and gentle. "Would you like to tell me what's on your mind?" He asked, unknown to the fact that her mother had died. The medicine cat apprentice rested his tail upon her shoulder comfortably.

'Oh, Prochecypaw... Hi... Thanks. I think Prochecypaw is a pretty cool name. And well, my mother is, I think, dead.' She told the medicine cat, unaware of her mother's real state. She started to shake uncontrollably and thought his tail on her shoulder was comforting. 'I'm just so sad. I feel bad getting my warrior name when she can't be here to see me!' She sighed, and tears started going down her face again.
ooc;; Raven, Prophecypaw and Mahoganyflight would make such good best friends, don't you think? xD[/sup]

ooc;// i've posted this a few hundred times but I'll do it again. Sunheart's in a coma. I understand that at first you can think she's dead, but when you come up on her, she's alive ^^
Shade, I'm having Sunheart be alive until Maplekit becomes an apprentice. :]
bic;// Maverickpaw stayed by Amethyststar's side as his leader carried his mother back into back. The light-ginger male nodded to her as she made her announcements. The tom lifted up his head as she declared him to be a warrior. He dipped his head curtly, feeling like a noble stag in the forest. He felt alone and...he liked it. This hollow feeling was almost like an embrace. He accepted his warrior name of Mavericksky and turned his head to Toweringpaw, now Toweringheart. He felt an invisible bond strengthen between them.
Grebekit padded out of the nursery curiously, bored with the game of hide-and-go-seek. She ran over to Yewchime, the ginger queen of EclipseClan's nursery. She mewed balefully for her father, sniffling when she didn't see him. "Daddy...?" the usually-fiery she-cat mewled. Yewchime curled her tail around the mottled she-kit.
Solsticesong's head lifted imperiously, searching for Fernpelt. She snarled for the Clan to come to order and ran over to Amethyststar, listening to her carefully. She watched her former apprentice out of the corner of her eye, seeing her and Troutcatcher wandering aimlessly. "Maplepool...," the large white and black she-cat, flicking her shaggy tail.

maplekit With the echoes of arriving cats ringing in his ears, the little silver tom kit abandoned his hide-and-go seek spot with flourish, tail raised happily, and giving a single flick as his hopeful, deep green occs roamed the camp. The stench of dried blood filled his muzzle, and he looked away for a moment, afraid to see Sunheart not well or... or perhaps... maybe dead. He never really knew his first mother, not really, and though he had a yearn for her company like all motherless kit's have, he was young enough when he lost her that it didn't seem to mater, and he had known Sunheart better almost for the same amount of time he had spent with his birth mother.
"Sunheart?" his small, quiet voice piped up through the filling camp of cats, some hauling the injured, his eyes stayed wide, though he flinched slightly as the smell of injury grew stronger, stepping out of the nursery. He looked for Yewchime or Petaldance, hoping to see them, and tried to see over the heads of grown cats for Maverick... Mavericksky. It seemed like only a moon ago he was a kit! Time flew by so quickly. "Yew-- Yewchime? Petaldance?" he spoke nervously, a shiver running through his wondering if they were gone visiting the hurt, perhaps gone, Sunheart.

As he limped determinedly into camp, Spicetalon looked up at Amethystar. He was glad she looked better than she had in a while. I think the battle made her feel alive again.. He whispered to himself. The bloody tom pulled himself into a painful sitting position and smiled at Amethystar, amid all the horrifying events around them.
Sphinxpaw took a glance at her mother's body and gasped. Mom! No! She raced to her body and pressed her nose into the still warm body. You-You're breathing.. She sighed with relief. She prodded her in the side. Mom, we're becoming warriors. Now's not the time to nap. She shook her head, amused and ran over to the meeting spot. I do. She replied.
The newly dubbed Sphinxtale grinned at her sister and brothers. Congrats guys! She called to them. She pressed her muzzle against Mahoganyflight's. She's not dead, you know. She's probably just exhausted from the battle. That's all. She smiled. Then she trotted over to Toweringheart and Mavericksky. Hey guys! She meowed. Mavericksky, I know we've had our differences, but we're still siblings. I want to make sure we still keep that bond. Is that okay? She asked him seriously. She gave him a once-over and suddenly felt small. He didn't seem like her brother. He had an air of leadership that she could only envy. She shook her head. This was her brother, for Starclan's sake! She smiled at him again, pushing all her bad thoughts away.
Razortomb padded confidently into camp, despite his blood-covered pelt. His mother, Amethystar, was up on the Shade Rock, announcing warrior names. Mavericksky, Toweringheart, Sphinxtale, Mahoganyflight! He chanted happily. He smiled at the newly named warriors.
Littlefox came into camp behind Prophecypaw, looking exhausted. She shook her head and sat down in her place beside the Shade Rock. Congratulations! She called tiredly to the new warriors. She hung her head and tried to wake herself up. She bit her paw and bit back a yowl of pain. There we go. She meowed to herself.

//Yeah...Prophecy does need a friend, other then Littlefox. He`s already seen his best friend get killed. Perhaps he could have a friend.\\Glacierfrost_x Glacierfrost's eyes flicked through the cats, letting his eyes rest upon the fallen and those who looked injured. His dark eyes flickered towards Solsticesong. Would she tell Fernpelt about there relationship now? Or would she allow her friend to figure it out on her own? With a shrug to him, self, the large tom stood and padded towards his mate, sitting down beside her and lightly putting his tail to her shoulder. "Fernpelt will be safe" He whispered in her ear, voice soft.Prophecypaw_x Prophecypaw cocked his head at Mahoganyflight's works. He looked around, then spotted the limp body of Sunheart. He gave a nod to himself. "Your mother isn't dead, Mahoganyflight. She's merely...erm....In a sleep that can not be disturbed" He mewed. He knew what he was thinking of, he just didn't know how to put it in words. His pupilless eyes flicked around the camp, trying to spot Littlefox.

ooc;; Mahoganyflight needs anotherfriend other than her siblings =] And Aurora, I only posted that Mahoganyflight thought she was dead because she didn't know the state of Sunheart. I knew she wasnt dead. Thanks for letting us know, though xD
bic;; 'She-she's not dead?! Great! So she'll wake up and greet us, right?' She looked at the medicine cat. He should know, of all cats. He was a medicine cat! She looked around, and called to her siblings. 'Nice names, you guys!' She looked around again and saw the injured cats. 'What happened with our cats? Has any died?' She asked Prophecypaw. She wanted to know if she had any clanmates die while she was here.[/sup]

Mavericksky seemed so out of it that he forgot the heavy weight upon his shoulders. "Pantherstealth," he grunted, rolling the larger tom onto the ground gingerly. The light-colored warrior lifted his chin and called out authoratively. "Littlefox, Prophecypaw, we need one of you over here. Pantherstealth's gravely injured!" He no longer had that kit-like playfulness or the apprentice's nervous tendency to kowtow to everyone. The new warrior seemed almost like a leader in his own right. He saw that Sphinxtale was looking at him, and the warrior's lips curled slightly into a frown as she spoke to him. "Yes, I suppose so..." His voice was deeper and darker than how it was in the apprentice's stage. He returned his watchful gaze over to Pantherstealth.
"Dad!" Grebekit hollered, leaving Yewchime's side and running over to Pantherstealth only to be glared at by Mavericksky. The fierce kitten stopped in her tracks, alarmed by the changes in the usually-gentle new warrior. When he continued to not let her pass, she angrily swatted him in the nose. "You idiot! Let me see my father!" Her tone would be as forceful as Mavericksky's if it wasn't for the squeaky kit voice she had. Mavericksky simply stared her down. "He needs to see a medicine cat right now. You should wait, Grebekit." With that, he refused to talk to her anymore. Grebekit's fur puffed out indignantly but she stormed off in a huff, running towards Petaldance with a pointed mew.
Yewchime's heart ached to see Maplekit in such a state. The ginger queen stepped forward, seeing as how Grebekit had left. "Maplekit...everything's going to be okay," she said quietly, curling her tail protectively around the small tomkit.
Solsticesong stiffened when Glacierfrost came up to her, but then she nodded. "Right," she said quietly. The shaggy-haired she-cat relaxed, leaning against the tom she loved. It didn't stop her from worrying but it did alleviate some of the stress.

Kinkajoukit followed his sister Grebekit out of the nursery. He had retreated into the comforting warmth after the terrors of the game. He despised hide-and-go-seek, and now he remembered why. The timid tabby kitten glanced from side to side, blue eyes huge as he checked to see that the outsides were safe. After his inspection was completed, Kinkajoukit pranced from the brambles, the thorns craping through his coat. The thin kit danced over to his mother, sitting at her paws. He gave a mew of worry as Grebekit sprang up again. He wailed as he recognized what she was heading towards. "Daddy! Daddy!" His voice was shrill and pitiful. Instead of approaching Pantherstealth, carefully guarded by Mavericksky, he pawed at Petaldance's lilac and white fur, mewling anxiously.
Scrawltale's bat-eared head appeared from the warriors' den. She smiled as her grandchildren were made into warriors; Mavericksky, Mahoganyflight, Sphinxtale and Toweringheart. But her happiness was short-lived, when she caught sight of the bleeding ginger tabby body near the medicine den. Sunheart. Her daughter. Dead. Scrawltale blinked as ghostly images of her dead son Aspenkit flew through her brain. She darted to Sunheart's side, and relief filled her, cooling her like cold water. The Rex warrior sat beside her daughter, tail curled protectively over her neck. She would not leave Sunheart's side.

Littlefox raced over to Pantherstealth's body, all exhaustion forgotten. Immediately, she began to dress his wounds and put pulps of herbs on them. Prophecypaw! She called, looking around for him. When her eyes lay upon him, she called out again. I need you over here! She looked and saw the kit being stopped by Mavericksky. She quietly padded over and picked up the kit. I'll bring you to him, but you must stay where I put, you, understand? She asked the kit.

Prophecypaw_x Propehcypaw nodded at her question. His ears flicked away. One cat had died. His very best friend, Crowtalon. He gave a sigh before his eyes turned towards Mavericksky. He flicked his tail at Mahoganyflight and bounded over, looking from the newly named tom, then to Pantherstealth. "Wait one moment. " He mewed as he bounded towards Littlefox's den, going in and coming out in a matter of seconds. He placed down the herbs and cobwebs and got to work. He chewed on the herbs, spitting the herbs onto the warrior's wounds before placing cobwebs across them.Glacierfrost_x Glacierfrost pressed his body agianst Solsticesong's wrapping his tail around her and trying to comfort her. "It was only natural for her to go. She is the Clan's deputy" He mewed with a slight roll of his broad shoulders.

His yellow eyes didn't move from the ground in front of him. He barely even paid any attention to what he was stepping on. Toweringpaw knew the territory too well to be unsure. The dead weight on his back and the pain that coursed through his body was just a prick of pain compared to what he felt in his heart. Limepaw had woken up and stirred a bit while he waited for Amethyststar to say that EclipseClan could leave. When she did say that they could leave, Toweringpaw gently maneuvered Limepaw on to his back. He didn't feel comfortable having anyone else carry her. Through the journey home, Toweringpaw stayed close to Amethyststar and Maverickpaw and he followed Amethyststar into the Medicine Cat den. He placed Limepaw gently down in a soft moss nest before turning back to face the chaotic clan.
They had begun emerging from their dens even before their Leader called them. Their faces were filled with worry and sadness. Their loved ones had died. Their love ones were injured. Because? We fought against ghosts. No one can kill a ghost with their bare claw and that was obvious. To his surprise, Amethyststar had called upon them; Maverickpaw, Mahoganypaw, Sphinxpaw, and himself. He blinked in surprise but stepped forward. He was last to be dubbed a name but when his name was said allowed, a single tear fell from his glistening eye. Toweringheart. Sunheart. He would honor the name forever. "Thank you," he whispered, though it inaudible, even for himself to hear.
It was then that some thing happened. Something had changed inside of him and when he glanced over to see Maverickpaw, now Mavericksky, he felt a strong but invisible bond strengthen in between them. The fleeting glance was so quick yet so certain. He realized that not only did his name change but through all this, a death in the Clan, an injury of his friend, and the coma of his mother, he felt as though he had learned to except things the way they are. Life goes on, even if someone you love isn't with you. You always have more than one person to comfort you when you need it most.

maplekit The tom kit tensed as Yewchime's gentle tail wrapped around him, and he let her, but his deep green pools still searched through the warrior's, desperate to find Sunheart. "What's happening? Where is she?" his voice rose, getting squeaky as he grew more nervous, his silver tabby fur raising, getting fluffier to show he still hadn't left kithood behind completely. He peered upward at Amethyststar, she was easy enough to see up on the Shaderock, and stared at her with his seeking occs, awaiting an answer from Yewchime expectantly.
"Is... is she alright?" his voice now shakes, his body trembling, his physique arching into a stooping position as he realized the grown-up cats weren't going to give him any straight answers. He liked straight answers, simple answers. He wanted to know what happened. He watched almost angrily as Grebekit danced freely over to her father, and then Kinkajoukit near Petaldance, but he was really still looking for a healthy Sunheart moving toward him, alright and well.

__ Sorry for not posting. x-x I was at my dad's... No internet unless I steal a chance on his laptop. ... I think Cascadekit's the only actively roleplayed kit in that litter other than Puzzlekit, too... o___O
Maplepool looked over at Solsticesong, not knowing where she wanted to be, feeling her breath hoarse in her throat. She padded over to her, perhaps the only cat she felt comfortable with... Troutcatcher was like her, walking around camp as if in search of something, even though it was something they would never find. Maplepool heard helself chanting the new warrior's names but she didn't feel it, as if she were detached from the world. Her green eyes were fixed blankly on Amethyststar, who looked so much like her brother, who had been his mentor. It had been utterly stupid to be angry with him for his mentor, just as it had been utterly stupid of her to tease him in the first place. If anything, it had made Troutcatcher hate her more. It was almost as if she were wishing for something, and although the words wouldn't come to her, she wanted so much to call out Troutcatcher - and Crowtalon -'s names, for them to come without a second thought, for her to forgive them...
Cascadekit jumped out of the nursery, sure of what she was expecting - she had speculated it all afternoon, for StarClan's sake, it had to come true! The EclipseClan warriors would come in, glowing with pride - it was evident here that Cascadekit did most definately not know what 'glowing with pride' meant, for she had actually imagined them glowing, literally -, the bodies of ghosts carried on their backs.
But that was not what she saw. [/blockquote]

[back in cognito]
It was black. Black as night, black as a pupil. Then life rushed back in. His sides heaved and he strained to open his eyes. Everything started to become clear again. Phantomlight didn't die. Phantomlight was lying, a scratch across his side, in a ditch. He felt as it the wind had been knocked out of him and he had a terrible headache. The white tom surveyed the valley. One important detail was missing.
Where is everyone?
Phantomlight thought, maybe they had all died? But he cleared that option. How absurd it would be that he was the only one left out of the 5 clans. As he kept thinking, his white tail swishing over the hard and cracked dirt, he twitched his ears as he came to a conclusion. They must have gone back to camp. Our snow coloured friend heaved himself off the ground, he was dizzy at first, but he soon got his balance and raced off back to Eclipseclan.
Well I bet your dying to know what happened to Phantomlight. Why was he lying in a ditch? Why was no one there? Well as Phantomlight was confidently fighting one of the Tribe Cats, another tribe cat who was skulking behind him pounced at him, knocking Phantomlight down into a ditch. He had a concussion, which left him alone in the battle grounds.
Phantomlight's white paws [which now were more like a tan because of all of the mud] slammed against the forest floor. His side stung from the scratch and his paws ached from the run. He urged himself to go onward, for he was almost at camp. Phantomlight brushed his long white coat against the bracken at the camp entrance. As he entered, he panted with exhaustion, "Is Scarletpetal alright?"

Everything was blurred. Her hearing muffled, her smell distorted. Petaldance couldnt, wouldnt believe the sights she saw in front of her. Sunheart in the middle of camp, lying so still Petaldance could barely believe she was breathing and her mate, her beautiful mate. Petaldance choked back the tears as she saw Pantherstealth bloodied form brought into camp. The bad feeling in her stomach had been there for a reason. The two she held most dear, apart from her children, were mortally injured. What would she do if they both were to die? The white and lilac-brown she-cat snapped back to attention at the feel of tiny paws against her pelt. She swallowed hard and blinked the tears from her eyes as she saw her tiny son. "Its okay Kinkajoukit, everything will be okay" she said, her voice cracking and a tear falling from her lilac-blue orbs.
Lilakit let out a strangled gasp as she saw her father being carried into camp. She had always seen her dad as a big, strong cat and to see him in this state was a huge blow to the kitten. The black striped female looked up at her mother, lilac eyes full of tears and round with fear. "Is daddy going to be alright?" she whispered, snuggling into her mother to try and calm herself. She licked Kinkajoukits nose gently from her spot, hating to see her family so upset.[/blockquote]

Your tears don't fall y e w c h i m e__xx They c r a s h around me Yewchime draped her larger form around the young tom and exhaled heavily. "Little one...," she said quietly. She paused, wondering how he was going to take this. She had been there when Solsticesong had brought the male in and gave him to Sunheart. "She's in a coma, meaning that she'll be sleeping for a time. We don't know when she'll get up." Her head tilted to brush against Maplekit's. Her eyes flickered to Sunheart and she saw a strange apparition. Two ghostly cats crafted of dust and pollen were tussling around the queen, mutely hissing and clawing at each other for their quarry underneath.
"The Tribe!" she gasped. They seemed to be fighting over Sunheart's soul. She prayed that StarClan was the stronger of the two fighting cats and that the kind and gentle queen would not succumb to the marionette Tribesmen.

maplekit Large, innocent flecked green occs stared up unblinking at the Queen as he awaited, more on the inpatient side, for the question he felt deserved an answer. Or he deserved an answer, as long as he knew he didn't really care why he was told. As Yewchime moved her comforting body closer to him, he tensed again before sighing, and his small silver body finally giving up and letting her comfort him. His tail raised excitedly as she spoke finally, just starting a long hopefully exciting story he hoped lamely, his physique perking up before he saw a certain sadness... or, well it could've been his un-optimistic imagination, flicker in the she cat's eyes and he drooped like a wilting flower, his tail smacking the ground, his fur practically clinging to his thin body.
"She... she-- what?" his head tilted, feeling hers brush his as he blinked up at Yewchime in obvious bemusement that he didn't understand, then concern, then confusion letting the latter two stir into one. The tom's paw raised as he licked it for a moment, trying to hide his easy-read features, whiskers twitching sadly as he hide his face from the Queen. "Coma..." he tested the word, and as she explained the definition, he thought about it, now more clearly it dawned on him, and suddenly it started making a little more sense. "Sunheart... she'll wake up though, right?" Maplekit's young voice piped up in a clawing desperation of hope, a final plan, before he shook his head back into his usual self and gave up, his paws seeming to sink under him. "The... tribe??" he blubbered nervously, the two simple words spitting from his mouth like crow food the kit had eaten, his paws fluttering in the air before he caught himself and looked attentively at Yewchime, like a kit waiting for a story.

Trying to lift the mood a little, Cascadekit bounded up to Maplekit, her big blue eyes fixed on the tomcat, her plume-like tail waving back and forth. She smiled up at Yewchime, meaning partly to make Maplekit feel better and partly to avoid finding anyone she loved in the mess of bodies, some dead and some barely alive. "Dun' worry! Sunheart'll wake up, because she's just asleep!" she paused, obviously ignorant of her ignorance, then added, "I dunno about you, but I always wake up - always, always!" she gave Maplekit a clumsy smile, sitting down. maplekit His six-moon, thin physique shuddered in the pressure under all of his strong emotions as he still left his deep green gaze on Yewchime, but he sensed a figure prancing toward them, most likely a kit. The young tom's dark silver tabby fur shivered for a moment, bristling, his tail sweeping around him in one sudden movement as he still remained head tilted toward the Queen waiting for news about the bad ghost cats, no other Queen's would talk about 'it' to them, afraid to scare them and give them nightmares. "Hi Cascadekit!" he attempted to sound somewhat happy in spite of himself, his frame turning to face the she kit, though his voice cracked at the end of his small speech, his pools lingering over her head trying to search out Sunheart's body. Too many alive warriors were blocking it.
Maplekit smiled rather weakly, though it was obvious he was trying his best to look generally normal, his lips pulled down toward a frown, like a tug of gravity that was extremely unpleasant. "Of course she'll wake up!" his mew came out defensively, though in his head he was attempting to convince himself that he believed she would wake up, so he nodded as if agreeing with himself finally. "Well, duhh!" he shivered, now realizing he was sounding a bit too much like the other kits, he turned back to normal, "Right, Yewchime. Everyone wakes up eventually. I do, Cascadekit does, you do... right? Well, obviously." The tom spoke this all quickly, too afraid his voice would crack or he would realize he didn't believe fully what he said, so momentarily he peered away from Cascadekit so she wouldn't see or notice his doubt.

Your tears don't fall y e w c h i m e__xx They c r a s h around me "Well...the Tribe was the thing that EclipseClan and the other Clans were fighting." By the looks of it, we did a terrible job, she added mentally. The queen smiled down at Maplekit, grateful for Cascadekit's interruption. "That's right. She'll wake up someday," the she-cat grinned. "You'll have to do everything you can to be a great warrior so you can tell her all about it when she wakes up." Yewchime smiled gently at the two kits. "You too, Cascadekit." The ginger she-cat lifted herself up to her feet and made her way over to Sunheart, gingerly carrying the queen over the medicine cat den so that the incoming Clanners wouldn't tramble her body.

Kinkajoukit peered up at his mother with huge blue eyes. His words reassured him somewhat, but when the tear fell from one of her eyes, landing straight between his short triangular ears, he was unconvinced. The tiny tabby flattened himself to the grass, tail bristling. Daddy's gonna die! The kitten pressed himself against his sister briefly, coat prickling, thin flanks heaving. Kinkajoukit gave a whimper of fear as he again caught sight of Pantherstealth's body. Littlefox was leaning over him. Kinkajoukit had come to associate the sight of the medicine cat with death and illness. It scared him. He didn't want his father to die. He needed him, to teach him how to be a big boy and to catch him when he slipped off his paws. Kinkajoukit's eyes were as round as the full moon as he huddled between Petaldance and Lilakit, ears flat and body tense.

ooc;; AWW!!! Kinkajoukit is SO adorable! And sad!
bic;; Mahoganyflight noticed the cat tumble into the clearing. She got off of her paws and reached him in fast, ace-like steps. She reached him and went to his side to support him. 'Phantomlight! What happened?' She held him up and she didn't realize he had called out to the clan. She looked over to her mother, fighting back sadness as she realized he must be looking for someone important. She realized who he had called outto, and responded. 'Idon't know where Scarletpetal is...'[/sup]
