tawnysky Her paws were tired. The sun was hot. But she didn't notice or care in the slightest. She had passed through the river of CloudClan, slipped through SerenityClan territory and was now travelling over the neutral grounds to reach rheir usual meeting place. She was going to see Eaglecry again. She was going to see the cat she loved. The brown and white she-cat could see a familiar tree in the distance. Ah. She was here.
The CloudClan she-cat settled in the centre of the clearing. She began to groom her short fur with quick, rapid strokes. She wanted to look her best for Eaglecry. When she was satisfied she looked up, her leaf-coloured eyes glittering with anticipation. Suddenly doubt struck her in the muzzle. What if Eaglecry didn't come? What if he forgot to, or just didn't want to? Or worse, what if he had been caught in SerenityClan territory? The thought made her tremble with worry and fear.

He hadn't forgotten. He could never forget Tawnysky, her pretty brown and white fur. Ears flicked, as he crossed into neutral territory, tail flicking slowly behind his bulky body. As he swung his head to look behind him, he caught the smell of a rabbit. Muscles tensed up beneath his spotted coat, and he smirked. He could see Tawnysky, sitting in the clearing grooming, and his tail twitched. Stalking closer, muscles bunched underneath his coat, paws shuffling the ground silently. He pounced, landing on her, then jumping off. "There is no need to look even more beautiful than you already are," he smiled, sitting down and watching her.
"I see you managed to get here alright. Sorry, I got delayed back at camp. Some cats are so nosey," his whiskers twitched in irritation, and he stretched his forepaws out in front of him. eaglecry

tawnysky Tawnysky was watching a bright blue butterfly flit across the sky when it hit her. His scent! He was here! And then she was crushed by a warm bundle of fur. Tawnysky pushed Eaglecry away, sitting up. The fur between her ears was distinctly ruffled, and her leaf-coloured eyes were blazing, but her muzzle carried a smile. She licked her paw and quickly flattened the back-combed fur. She then shook herself. "There's no need to look even more handsome then usual, just for me," she mewed, just to appease him. Tawnysky then rose and brushed past the large tabby tom, before standing still, their pelts pressed together, and her head rested on his powerful shoulder.
"I've missed you so much," she murmured honestly. "I know it hasn't exactly been long, but everything is just... Just so wrong. I want to be with you." Tawnysky felt faintly reassured by the gentle thump thump of her mate's heart beneath his short, warm fur.

"I am handsome? I wasn't even trying," he said, smirking slightly. Ears flicked, and his body seemed to relax next to hers. He felt comfortable just being there with her, so close to her. Letting his guard down a bit, he flicked his tail, letting his curl around hers. "It has seemed like forever since yesterday. I almost got caught by some of the cats in MoonClan." His nose wrinkled, and he shook his head. "I just wish we could be in the same Clan," he said, running his nose along her neck.
"What are we going to do about this? We can't just keep meeting like this. We'll get caught eventually." Now, his guard was back, and his golden eyes looked around, wondering if anyone from either one of their Clans had followed them here. If they had, they would be in great trouble.

tawnysky The smile that had so warmly shaped Tawnysky's muzzle dissolved at Eaglecry's words. He didn't want to meet anymore? Was that it? He was about to leave her? The brown and white she-cat ducked away from him and stepped back. Her green eyes were dewy with tears, something which hardly ever happened to the hardy she-cat. She stared at Eaglecry in disbelief. "You can't leave me, Eaglecry, you can't, please!" her voice was choked and desperate.
If Eaglecry went.. What would she have left? Nothing. She would have to watch Dewstep nurture her wretched kits, alone and loveless. She needed him, she loved him! She loved him more than he would ever know. "Please, Eaglecry..." she mewed, tears sliding down her cheeks thick and fast. She drew in a sharp, tearful breath. "I love you." She looked down, succumbing to her tears. He was going to go. He was going to leave her all alone. And for what...?

The tom was taken back by Tawnysky's sudden mood change. His ears flicked back, and he shook his head. "Tawnysky. I would never leave you. Even if I was forced to stay within MoonClan's camp, I would never leave you." He moved forward, putting his nose to hers. "Please, never think I would leave you. Ever." His golden eyes showed his shock at her words. How could she think he was going to leave? Tail flicked, as he drew away from her. "I was merely asking if we are going to keep meeting here. Or if we should meet somewhere closer." Sitting back down, his paws treaded the ground. eaglecry

tawnysky Relief stabbed at her heart and compressed her chest. Tawnysky ran forward and pressed her face into Eaglecry's chest. She held still for a long moment, simply breathing in his warm scent. The thought of him leaving her had filled her with horror, horror almost as dreadful as when Lemonzest had died. Lemonzest... She wondered what her deceased mother would say if she could see her now. Tawnysky swallowed nervously, but pushed the guilty thoughts away. She loved Eaglecry. She loved him. And that was all that mattered.
"Sorry," she mewed quietly, drawing back. The tears were gone, but her cheeks were still slightly matted and her fur windswept. The brown and white CloudClanner looked awkwardly at her paws. "I'm just jumpy, so..." she trailed off. "We could meet at the river, in CloudClan territory," she mewed, voice more steady. "If we stood near the water it would carry away your scent... And we could wash away the evidence there, too." It would be easier than rolling in wet ferns, she figured. But what would Eaglecry think of her plan?

Relief swelled through him, and he sighed. He ran his tongue across her cheek, and his whiskers twitched. "We can meet where ever you wish to, Tawnysky," he said, and smiled. "Just don't make me roll in foxdung again. Some of my Clanmates didn't like that, and it takes forever to get out of your fur." He wrinkled his nose ever so slightly, remembering what he smelled like. Flicking his tail, he sat there, his golden eyes going to the area around them. It felt like someone was watching them, and this caused him to become very uneasy.

soulrebel Oddly enough, when he woke up this morning, it was not his mission to stalk Tawnysky and see what she was up to. It was obvious when he had the awkward conversation the other day with the warrioress, she was not telling the full truth, and in his opinion, none of it at all. Her pelt was soaking wet - practically dripping, as he pointed out to her. The tom woke up earlier than usual this morning, and he was debating where either to join the hunting patrol or border patrol, and was on the verge of choosing the hunting patrol so he could choose something to eat before he did anything else. It was then when the long furred black and white hued Soulrebel noticed one more cat awake early, Tawnysky. Still thinking, he simply smiled lightly and dipped his head politely to her, not in the mood to speak so early, yet she seemed so preoccupied he payed more attention to her than usual, and watched her head out the camp (in his idea, suspiciously) without saying anything, and not out of the main, guarded entrance either. Soulrebel blinked for a moment, and debated seriously following her, before he convinced himself it was only for her safety - who knows what she'd run into this early in the morning, and alone! He couldn't predict she was going to see another cat from another Clan, could he?
He followed her out of CloudClan, growing more and more suspicious, until he was full on guilty when he watched her walk alone blissfully into the neutral lands, and then nervous as she entered the loner lands. What if she just wanted space alone, far away from any Clan cat? He frowned though, as he saw her sit by a tree it looked like she recognized and happily cleaned herself, and as he stood there in the open, shivered as he watched another tom (from the scent he could tell, from another Clan, not a loner or rogue) and watched them begin their conversation. By then, he wished he wasn't here - if Tawnysky had found love in another Clan, let it be, just don't get him dragged into it. He agreed with himself fully on this decision, and as Eaglecry looked around suspiciously, sending shivers down his spine, he turned around to walk away back to his Clan, to bring back some prey, and then eat like he was planning to. Unfortunately, he should have payed more attention to where he was walking, he was just trying to get away as silently and quickly as possible - not commonly is there large holes in the ground waiting for a unlucky cat to step into it, to trip noisily.

tawnysky Tawnysky rested her head on Eaglecry's shoulder, and breathed in his warm scent. She loved him so much. He was all she needed. She didn't need her estranged father, or her sister, or anybody. Nobody, but Eaglecry. She could taste his wariness, but dismissed it. They wouldn't get caught. Nobody would think to follow her. A bubble of blissful happiness seemed to encase Tawnysky so that the usually prickly she-cat could not see the reality of their love. It was dangerous, yes, but who really cared? She was young, and she was in love. That was all that really mattered right now. A rustle close by popped the bubble of joy. Tawnysky froze. She drew in the surrounding scents, and it was like a thunderbolt had hit her heart.
"Soulrebel," she hissed under her breath. The brown and white she-cat stepped back from Eaglecry, her short coat bristling and her leaf-green eyes bright with anger, and behind it, a flash of guilt. "I know you're there, Soulrebel!" she called out. "Come out!"

soulrebel He'd do anything to get away right now - but then again, he reminded himself, he wasn't following the she cat to see what she was secretly doing so early in the morning, he followed her so she didn't get hurt (there seemed to be an unusual amount of foxes and badgers around lately). Once he followed her here, into this pitiful loner land, he turned around to go back. Back home, take some prey, never speak about this again, and probably pretend like the awkward conversation between him and Tawnysky never existed. He didn't want trouble, and he sure did not want to be in the middle of a cross-clan love... it was against the Warrior Code, didn't they realize this? He groaned inwardly as he tripped so clumsily into the hole, and as he fished his now sore left leg out, he turned around to blink mournfully at the angry warrioress. "Trust me, Tawnysky - if you're up to it - I was leaving... don't particularly like being involved in things like this" his head motioned from her to Eaglecry, as he dipped his head to the other tom politely, a weary frown capturing his expression as he sat down in front of them, tail wrapping around his paws nervously. "Could I just go now, and pretend this never happened?" he mewed softly, black-and-white furred body poised to turn around and leave, ready to forget this ever happened, though it's not like usually he likes to avoid his problems, right now it just seemed like a good option.

The tom hadn't moved from the place he had been sitting at, when Soulrebel came wandering into the clearing. A mere smirk was placed on his muzzle, as he knew Tawnysky would probably scold this tom for following her. "Easy now, Tawnysky," he spoked gently, pushing himself to his paws and placing his shoulder against hers. Blue eyes went to the other CloudClan cat, and ears flicked. "Kind of risking it, aren't you, following her," his voice was calm, flat almost, as he spoke to Soulrebel. Tail swayed slowly behind his muscular body, and he was almost tempted to sit back down. But not while this tom was here. Who knew what he might do. An ear flicked uneasily, and he clenched his jaws together tightly. "Anyone else follow you," he asked warily, his paws shuffling the ground as he stood. His shoulder was pressed against Tawnysky's, as if trying to get her to calm down quicker.
ooc: Please forgive me ... no muse. Dx!

soulrebel His pale green eyes pierced through the tom as he spoke, sounding like he was willing to argue over this. He listened calmly, a smile twitching on his lips as he called him risky. Holding back a sarcastic laugh, he peered at them both for a moment "Risking it? No, I wouldn't call it that, I'm not risking anything," he attempted to point out to Eaglecry "except you two" he shrugged as he made this obvious, his thick furred tail unwrapping from his paws as he stood up for a moment. "I only offered to leave in peace, an agreement that I'd say nothing about this... because truthfully, I don't care were Tawnysky finds her love" he shrugged, exasperated he could be around the same age as this clueless Warrior. He sat down again, as he saw the other tom stand, and very nearly smirked as he looked uneasy about what he might do? What did he think, he was going to tell the she cat to high-tail it, and beat him up? He really had better things to waste his claws on, not a lost piece of fur like him who was muddled up in a cross clan relationship. "Oh yes - I took the whole Clan to follow Tawnysky in the early morning, figuring if she ran into a fox or badger, perhaps worse, it'd take all of us... Eaglecry, I'm not mousebrained. It's just me."

tawnysky Tawnysky's infamous temper was lapping at her chest, the flames threatening to rise and spill out of her mouth. The she-cat stood stock still, her frame tense and brown and white fur bristling as though she had recently been violently electricuted. The warrior's green eyes were filled with fury. She didn't care for his excuses. Soulrebel had followed her. Tawnysky opened her mouth to spit at him, but Eaglecry cut across her. Yes, he was right. The she-cat froze, peering from side to side. Were there others? Her tenseness vanished at Soulrebel's words and she let out a huge yowl of fury. "Don't speak to him like that!" she snarled, looking quite demonic, her eyes flashing with raw rage. "I don't need you to follow me around, Soulrebel, I'm not a kit!"
Tawnysky had to lean against her mate to stood herself launching at the tom before her. The she-cat sank her claws into the earth. "What is with you? First you question me back at camp, now you follow me!" her voice was loud and shrill. "Just leave me alone! Run back to Stormstar if you will! Go ahead! It won't stop me seeing Eaglecry!" Her breathing became deep and harsh. "I love him, and if I have to move away so that little spies like you don't follow me, then believe me, I will!" Her last two words were punctured with rage.

soulrebel` He sighed as the touchy warrioress began speaking with her temper on flare, a smile just touching his lips as she complained like a young apprentice to her parents that she was 'Not a kit anymore...' and still trying to win the independence argument. The tom just blinked gently at her with amber eyes, letting her yell, letting her yowl, just calm as she released her fury. It didn't bother him, he had seen her with her family at Camp, and he was treated nearly the same way she treated her father and sister - 'hopefully he wasn't being confused for kin!' his mind raced sarcastically, waiting for her to finish alerting her presence to all the rogues and loners. He ignored the comment where she poorly attempted to protect her mate, really nothing needed to be said to that, she wasn't going to stop him from saying anything - he, unlike some cats, had his limits. "Tawnysky" he meowed, his voice near bitterness but remaining rather normal "you will only stop being treated like a kit when you're done acting like a kit in a tantrum who doesn't get her way" he pointed out visibly to her mounting anger, his tail flicking patiently.
His thick furred head shook as she complained, complained, complained - had she not realized that walking dripping wet around CloudClan would attract attention from any cat? Would it be any use to try and conceal him telling her so it didn't feel like he was trying to help her, but she always had to be rubbed the wrong way. "Someone was bound to notice, Tawnysky. You were dripping wet, any cat would realize you were trying to conceal a scent" his ears flicked in the direction of Eaglecry "which you were, and I was right. I was simply asking you to dry off before someone else noticed, and got curious - but you don't take help, do you? You think you can live alone, and manage. You have Eaglecry, now, sure... but what about your family? Everyone in the Clan knows that you and your sister share a steely relationship, and I won't even bother mentioning your father." Soulrebel peered for a moment at Tawnysky, his physique not shifting as she suggested he leave, run to their leader. "You don't want me to do that, do you? I assume that's your way of asking, considering it'd be too hard to be polite" he shrugged, frustrated with the she cat who just seemed to want so much attention, needy enough that she had to run to another Clan and get someone else in danger just so she could feel loved... he felt a mixture of pity and humor for her.
