Oath The buff brown tabby tom lowered his head to the stream, lapping up some water to wash down his lunch. He watched as a dead fish floated by and curled his lip in disgust. His wide, golden owl eyes watched almost every thing around him. He at least had twenty/twenty vision with those glass orbs. Oath was not all that pretty. He had battle scars all across his muzzle, back, underbelly, legs, and neck. There was a little scar right above his left eye which stood out because it was shaped like an X.
Oath the tomcat was really not all that bad. He liked to seem like it to get people to stop bothering him. He wasn't afraid to die or fight, he didn't mind killing other cats, either. He was a murderer, yes, and he'd admit. He would be one to join a "murderous gang". But at the very moment, he was alone, sitting next to Acid Stream. The forest was two miles south of him and Sabretooth rock was at least a mile east of him. He blinked slowly, exhaling carbon dioxide and breathing in oxygen until he couldn't breathe in any more, then doing the process all over again. He did this trick sometimes because he knew it would make his lungs bigger and stronger, for if he fell into a river, he could take more time to get back out. He unsheathed his long claws, piercing the dark soil beneath him. His expression was grim and unsatisfying. He had to find something to do today. But what?
Oath yawned and looked toward the forest, "How amazing cats can live in that thing. Stupid clans... Don't even know why I bothered to even live my kithood in that place," he grumbled to himself, looking down at his paws. "Nothing to do. Nothing to do."

YOU SHOT HIM, YOU SHOT HIM. I KNOW I BLOODY DID. Zephyr___ // "'Nothing to do', boy? So you come here?"
A slight tilt revealed a hue of tan speckled upon a frame of sepia. Round eyes blinked owlishly but the face that affixed the gaze upon the male seemed to be more wolf than bird. However, the female was neither; this was Zephyr, deemed as she-cat. She frowned slightly down at him from her place upon a large boulder that marked the beginning of her and Quetzal's unofficial territory. While it didn't have their names in stone, it was common knowledge that the two (plus Nyx and the other prisoners) lived there. Quetzal was away on business as usual, headed towards EclipseClan after receiving word that the Clans were currently at a Gathering. She had brought home a mottled she-cat the other day; Zephyr wondered what the female would drag in tonight.
However, she was getting off track. Her thoughts returned to the young man below her. Zephyr shifted her weight and frowned deeper.
"My calling is Zephyr." The ground seemed to quake.
"Who are you?" YOU SHOT HIM. YOU SHOT HIM.

You'd think the bloody tom'd be named Sin after all he's done. But, then again, there was another tom named Sin. Even worse, but even more stupid. Oath splashed the water with his paws, before turning to answer. "Aye, they call me Oath now," he stood, his huge paws swiftly turning so he could face Zephyr.
"I can tell by your eyes you've killed many," he said, his voice firm but dark. "Do you think you could match my murders?" His tail stood high and defiant, his golden optics darkened and narrowed and a smirked played around his unfaithful lips.
"But then again, it's always best not to believe my tongue. I've seen many, many different types of cats. Including those damnable clancats." His paws scraped the ground ever so slightly as he moved closer toward the huge boulder the she-cat lay upon. "Zephyr... Aye, you're the lady who's decided to step it up a notch, I believe. Bigger and better than Chaosfire? Hmm... And I believe beyond that rock, isn't that you're territory?"
The smirk that had been playing around Oath's lips revealed itself. "Isn't the whole point of the loner's land is to be free for all cats? Or do you believe differently?" he sheathed his claws, bringing up one of his paws and licking it. His eyes flashed with a sinister thought.
"Or is the sky just too bright for your nightmarish ideas?" he asked, "And you would rather prefer the forest floor."

YOU SHOT HIM, YOU SHOT HIM. I KNOW I BLOODY DID. Zephyr___ //The slim slits narrowed slightly. "I don't kill for sport, unlike Quetzal. If you want to contest that, you'll have to talk to her," Zephyr said coldly. The tom grated on her nerves already. What was his business here? The she-cat stiffened at his defiant gestures and rather aloof ways of addressing her.
"Chaosfire? No, I have no ambition to uproot the wench. As for my territory, yes, I live there. What is the point of your interrogation, outsider? The land of the loners is for everyone, but my piece is just one of many where you have to watch your back even more closely." The light-brown she-cat flicked her tail irritably at the nonsense he was babbling. He was quite annoying actually.
"Get to the point. You seem to come here for a reason. If not, you may skirt around and leave. Go talk to Chaosfire, since you brought her up." Zephyr lunged from her place upon the rock, now uninterested in the fellow. Her unsheathed claws ground against the rocks underneath as she leapt across the stream nonchalantly. YOU SHOT HIM. YOU SHOT HIM.

Oath"Aye!" he called after the she-cat, "If ye want me to get to the point than come back!"
The tom shook his head, he always caught on a slight scottish accent when he was pissed off or annoyed. He took two more steps closer, "How do I put this simply but valiantly... I wish to... accompany you in your... erm... how should I say this... outrageous tasks," he said, loking completely and utterly dumb. "Okay, basicaly I wanna join you."

YOU SHOT HIM, YOU SHOT HIM. I KNOW I BLOODY DID. Zephyr___ //Zephyr's fur bristled slightly but she deigned to turn around and face him. However, she was nonplussed by his comment. "Join me?" She dismissed him with a flick of her tail. She had no reason for followers personally but she sighed.
"Follow me, then," she grunted, turning away and making her way back to the den. It was empty save for a few mangy bones that she kicked outside. Talons and teeth of her combined kills with Quetzal littered the corners, and blood smeared across the stone walls. She didn't pay any heed to it or brag, instead choosing to pick up a mouse and eat it before coming back outside to speak with this...Oath.
"Proof of your kills?" she asked him, holding out her paws. The cat was a liar and if he didn't carry some mark of what he had done, what use had she for him?YOU SHOT HIM. YOU SHOT HIM.

OathOath followed Zephyr, waiting outside of the cave-like den. When she came back out and held out her paws he cocked his head to the side.
"Proof of your kills?"
The brown tabby raised his brow. "Huh? Do you want me to hold out my paws or something?" he asked, utterly lost and confused.

YOU SHOT HIM, YOU SHOT HIM. I KNOW I BLOODY DID. Zephyr___ //She grunted in an unimpressed fashion. "I'm just supposed to believe you're some high-class assassin if I've never heard of you. I want proof of your kills," she said icily. One of her paws turned and pointed a curled claw at the fangs and claws littering the sides of her den, showing him an example. Since they constantly moved from place to place, those were just the two she-cat's kills of this region. It would be impossible to tally all of the deaths.
"If you don't have that, then bring me something." She seemed to chew upon her thoughts for a moment before turning back to the defiant young tom. "Eastfrost of BrightClan. Nice warrior, recent father of four. Go get him and bring him here." She waved Oath away; the tom had yet to earn her respect.YOU SHOT HIM. YOU SHOT HIM.

Oath He sighed. She expected him to carry around the bones of the cats he had killed?! She was crazy!
Eastfrost of BrightClan. Nice warrior, recent father of four. Go get him and bring him here."
His eyes widened in bewilderment. A father? He couldn't do that! The tom had just had his kits! His mate and the kits would be devastated! Just then Oath realized his heart was too soft and he knew he had to fix that problem. What hapened to the rough-edged Oathmoon? The one that had murdered the apprentice and was exiled? He was given a mission he had to finish. The tom nodded curtly, turning and leaving.
Now, if I remember correctly, BrightClan is that way...
The tom turned toward the Clan's direction, a smile settling itself upon his face. This would be easy. [[secret agent cat!]][/sub][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Nyx When you have no one, You reach for the corrupted A black form could be spotted towards the edge of the territorial area. The shadow slunk from behind the marking boulder and approached the others. Finally, she sat beside Zephyr and touched her flank with her tail-tip to make her presence known. "Hiya," she mewed. "I'm back."No longer did the small helpless she-cat exist. No more was her fluffy, silky kittish fur with large, pleading eyes. She was almost full-grown, though she was quite small. She would never be average in size from the malnutrition of her early life, and she was already small before that. As for her pelt, you couldn't call it beautiful and sleek, but it was a little more grown-up looking. Her eyes, currently a pale yellow, set on Oath as he steadied himself to depart. "Who's that?" the she-cat mewed motioning with her tail to the tom. [ooc]:// Figured I take her out of her mess with Celestial and pretend it's been a week and she got a bit of info.[/blockquote]

YOU SHOT HIM, YOU SHOT HIM. I KNOW I BLOODY DID. Zephyr___ // Zephyr blinked and looked up, greeting her 'daughter' with a flick of her tail. "Him? That was Oath. He was interested in joining our squad but I sent him on a mission. Did you complete your mission?" Her eyes lifted to Nyx curiously, waiting for the she-cat to report.
ooc;// Ugh. No muse. Cheshy, talk with Rogue to schedule a thread between Eastfrost and Oath.

Nyx When you have no one, You reach for the corrupted Nyx tilted her head at Zephyr's explanation. Knowing the she-cat, she might not let him in anyway. But it was a possibility. Though the tuxedo wasn't all too comfortable with letting someone else in, as she was quite unfamiliar with meeting new cats and staying with them for long periods of time, she didn't mind much. "My mission?" she mewed, closing her eyes for a moment. "Yes, that Celestial cat..." Nyx opened her eyes after recalling all of her information. "She appears to be good friends with that tom. What was his name...Apocalypse. Yes, that's it. She called him Lypsey, and he called her Cellie. I believe she lost a brother, although I don't know his name. She lives with her father and her other brother in an old Twoleg barn. I believe it's somewhere close to Jay's Hollow." Her white paw rose to her chin, then she nodded in confirmation of her thoughts. "That is all I know. It was a bit more of a challenge with that Apocalypse cat."[/blockquote]

YOU SHOT HIM, YOU SHOT HIM. I KNOW I BLOODY DID. Zephyr___ //Zephyr frowned disapprovingly at the mention of this Apocalypse. "I believe he is the son of Vampire," she said softly. Weaklings. Giving each other pet names. Feh. The she-cat stiffened in disgust at such immature behavior. What are they? Kits? She must have over-estimated the son of a rogue she somewhat respected. Perhaps it was that girl he was with. She frowned deeper, wondering if Vampire knew about this affair.
"Very well," she said finally. "Get some food and take a quick rest. You have to watch the den while I rendezvous with Quetzal." The sepia-hued she-cat flicked her tail towards the fresh-kill pile.YOU SHOT HIM. YOU SHOT HIM.
