squirrel It was a dusty morning, free and sweet. The wind was cold at first, but bit by bit, it gets warmer and warmer. The clouds were appearing, speckles of gold on them. The sunlight are the speckles of gold. Birds were flying around, flapping their wings higher and higher each time. Flowers of all different kinds were awakening from their sleep. Their petals were bright, some dark, some just weird. But, they are beautiful in every way. Sunlight shining on them, the dried rain on the tips of their petals... What a beautiful morning...
'Fox dung,' mumbled a ginger cat, blinking her green eyes. She scented the air, the mouse running away from her. Bernie, her foster mother/guardian, ordered her to hunt. Even though she was a full-grown she-cat, she needs to protect Bernie, who is her only friend in this cold world. Squirrel blinked twice at the beautiful flying birds, which seemed like it was flying colors. I wish I can fly, she thought silently in her mind, looking down at the ground. A song, she began to sing:
'Words are flying out like 'endless rain into a paper cup 'They slither while they pass 'They slip away across the universe 'Pools of sorrow waves of joy 'are drifting thorough my open mind 'Possessing and caressing me,'
She was stopped.
Another cat was here, she was so sure. She turned around, her heart beating fast and slowly her eyes turning into slits. The she-cat unsheathed her claws and let out a whisper.
'Who's there?'

She had traveled far, that was sure. Having gone from SerenityClan territory to this place within the day or so. Even thinking about that Clan caused her blood to bubble in her veins. Hissing to herself, Mystique continued on, her head lowered. Such a foul mood the she-cat was in. How she hated Jasminestar. Not allowing her to stay within the Clan. She didn't know how much drive Mystique had to become a faithful part of the Clan. Tail flicked behind her, and she flicked her ears.
The sound of another cat caught the rogue's attention, and she tensed up. She didn't say a word, as she stood wtihin the bushes, her dappled coat fluffing out slightly. "Someone who won't hurt you," she muttered bitterly, walking out into the open, staring at Squirrel. Head lifted slightly, her sour mood radiating from her, but anger flashing in her eyes. Pathetic. Tail lashed behind her small body, as she stood there, staring at the loner. M Y S T I Q U E

squirrel Squirrel looked at her, blinking her green eyes which showed a flash of annoyance and anger. A little smirk came upon her face as she thought of something she always does. Attack the kitty. But, Bernie's words echoed in her mind. 'Squirrel, enough of your attacking other cats. Don't you dare, or I'll have to watch you.' Those words stormed in her mind, watching her every simple thought of this rouge. 'Ease up, Bern. she mumbled softly under her breath, feeling like clawing out this rouge's throat out. But she couldn't move. It was like she was frozen to the ground, her paws not daring to move an inch. Squirrel's whiskers twitched as the rouge finally spoke. A bitter, angry tone. With a little sprinkle of some sadness. Her head lowered down and she moved two steps toward her, tail fuzzing up and neck fur slowly bristling.
'I don't trust ya, especially with that kind of tone,' she hissed slowly, flickering her tail. She pushed her white paw on the ground, her red-white claws showing. The she-cat gripped the dirt slowly, licking her lips. Silence. A zap of lighting passed between them, like a twinkle. And the yelling shall begin soon.

Eyes narrowed at the loner cat, and claws extended slightly to dig into the ground. "Why don't you leave me alone? No one asked for you to barge into my business," Mystique hissed, and wanted to just push past this she-cat. She already was going through a rough time, she didn't want to deal with this. Tail swayed behind the dappled she-cat's body, as Mystique's green-gray eyes watched Squirrel. What was this cat going to do about her tone?

squirrel She let out a shriek when she heard those disgusting words. She didn't barge in and be wailing like a kit! It's her fault anyways, that stupid rouge. Her neck fur bristled and her green eyes were showing streaks of anger, going. Like lighting. 'Stop complaining like an elder got a tick!' Squirrel screamed, her fur rising up, making her look bigger. Two times her size. Her ginger fur turned into a flame as sunlight poured in, making her look like fire instead of a ginger cat. The loner leaped in front of her, baring her teeth. 'You barged in right into MY business. Mouse's berry dung, are you blind or something?'

"And if I am," she muttered bitterly, flicking her tail still. Mystique shook her head, and plopped herself down on her rear, knowing this she-cat was not going to move. "Surely, you can lower your voice. I am right in front of you, not on the other side of the world." Her jaws clamped shut, her teeth grinding slightly as she let her paws knead the ground underneath them. Boy, was this cat getting on her nerves more and more. And she wasn't tolerating it very well.
