A white-furred cat stepped delicately over the frosty grass, lifting her paws high and placing them down firmly on the chill earth as if she was having trouble walking. The truth was she had not yet got used to walking on ground that was not covered by a thick sheet of snow. In her fotmer home, snow and ice had ruled everything. The land had been enveloped in a constant winter. And it had cradled all of her bad memories in a thorned white paw. Ghost drifted on, a small smile set on her face. Her ice blue eyes seemed blissfully gentle and happy. This was the first time in a long while that something had gone in her favour. She had discovered this new world, and now she could stay here, away from her dead family, away from the taunting. She spotted a polished black rock and leapt upon it, sitting up straight and tall with her pure white tail curled over neat little paws.

The lithe shape of a feline stalked silently across the vast white that blanketed the normally shady lands. Mostly everything either stuck out or was covered up by the snow, having a black pelt when in the middle of winter didn’t exactly hold a bright side. Still he managed to keep himself remotely hidden in the frail shadows that clutched desperately to whatever seemed left. The dangerous lands had changed pretty much over night; snow always had a quite wild affect on the Loners though it was something you had to get used to. The snow didn’t seem as bad in some parts; the grass was just delicately frosted when you came further away from the mountain. Two pools of red splashed amber flickered into life, burning two clear holes through the faint darkness. Hooked fangs flashed ever so slightly as a malicious grin swept over the cat’s features. It seemed there was a new-comer in the lands of the Loners, by the scent the other cat held, it seemed she was from quite far away. He crept up the slope of Sabretooth rock, hidden away from her views before he came to a stop behind her. “Well well, what do we have here” his smooth honey lapped voice rang out. Sin smirked again, his tail flicking sharply side to side.

The she-cat whipped around, a hiss escaping her lips. Her shoulders bristled. She peered down at the small black kitten at her side with icy blue eyes. She crouched slightly, claws sliding free to half-sink into the iced crust topping the rock. "What do you want?" Ghost hissed. She knew to never underestimate a cat; small or big. Apocolypse skipped up to the rock, annoyed that there was not not enough room for him up there too. He bared his sharp fangs at the strange she-cat. His father knew every loner, every kittypet, every rogue. He'd told him and his brother and sisters strories about some of them. But he had never heard of this cat...

As she whipped round Sin merely blinked lazily, barely a fur on his pelt quivering. His Mother and Father had told him to never show weakness, he wasn’t even scared anyways. With his eyes widening slightly in disgust and disbelief he sneered rather snootily at her. “Psh, I want to know what you’re doing on my territory shuga muffin” he hissed softly, his cold voice laced with a mild coat of venom. Did this she cat think she could take him on? Well, just let her try it, stupid white fluff ball. Out the corner of his eye he spotted his brother moving about below. Grinning down at his sibling he raised one paw and wave it slightly before turning his piecing gaze back onto Ghost. “Your not from around here are you Peaches?” he purred lightly, his lips rose in an amused smirk. “Your one of those Winter Cat’s aren’t you? Ma told me that there were other Cat’s beyond the mountains.. Well, if you think your new homes going to be pleasant then think again, I do believe that if your wanting a peaceful lovely life, you should have turned up on CloudClans doorstep” he went on, voice still in that low hiss. [ooc]; Don'tcha just love him. xD!

"Pssh," spat Ghost scornfully. "Your territory? Your just a little kit." She smirked down at the black kitten. "And I believe that kit's should respect their elders." She suddenly lashed out with a sheathed paw, aiming to knock the kitten from the rock. She was stronger than him. he knew it. A grin twsited her lips. It was good to, for once, be better than her enemy.

[ooc]; Cue Vampire and Blood. xD [bic]; Sin snarled softly his lips drew back in a rather ugly scowl, he didn’t believe in all the junk StarClan said. Narrowing his eyes to little slits he shook his head. “I’d never respect a flea-bitten mange bag like you” he hissed, tensing up the small yet rather strong muscles he had built up. The paw he wasn’t heady for, it hit him like a rock in the side of the head. With a loud scream of shock he toppled to one side, the frosted sheet on the rock causing his paws to be swept out from under him. He tumbled down the side, his claws flailing helplessly as he fell down through mid air, the jagged teeth of the rocks below the only thing to aid his fall.

Apocolypse watched his brother fall, and flailed in the snow, paws sending up a flurry of snow as he leapt. He butted his brother's flank, knocking him clear of the rocks. The black kitten landed just clear of the lethal spires, but one scored a slash in his leg as he landed. He licked the blood away, numbing the pain on the snow. "You'll be sorry you did that!" he called. Ghost's faltered. She hadn't meant to hurt the kits. Just shock them. "Whatever," she hissed, flustered.

Sin closed his eyes, expecting to be impaled on the rocks when suddenly something butted him to the right. Blinking his eyes open he saw his brother pushed him out the way. Gasping with surprise he landed safely on the ground with a soft thud. Loosing his footing again he tumbled down a small hill of snow. Getting up he scrambled over to his brother and began to lick the wound on his leg. “Thanks, Apocalypse, you’re a really life saver” he murmured pushing against his brother. A lean slim figure flicked through the snow, the shocking black of her fur standing out against the white. Two deep pools of bloody red shone violently raw rage and worry thick inside. “Apocalypse, Sin!” she screeched out.

"No prob," Apocolypse mewed. His chest swelled with pride. For once he was the hero! He heard his mother's voice, and groaned. "Awh, bloodclots. It's Ma." The black kitten crouched down low. Ghost flattened herself against the rock, eyes suspicscious.

Sin rolled his reddish eyes before laughing quietly. “Yeah yeah, I know I owe ya one, no need to ruuub it in” he mewed, pawing his brother affectionately for a moment. He almost forgot about the she-cat perched on top of the rock, it was his mother who snagged his attention. “Awh sugar mush” he muttered in a groan, blinking when his mother skidded to a halt in font of them. He looked up to smirk at her though found himself freezing. The look in the she-cats eyes was livid, almost demonic with rage. “What happened” she hissed, voice low and echoing as she looked down at her son, eyes on the side of Apocalypse’s leg. “I saw you fall” she hissed gently, eyes flicking up to lock them on Ghost. Instantly she pushed herself forward, prowling up the rock towards the female, her claws out and her sleek muscles tensing powerfully. “Your going to wish you’ve never been born girly..” she growled.

Ghost hissed, neck fur bristling. "I never hurt your kittens," she spat. "That one slipped and fell. The other one stupidly knocked into him. That's how he cut his leg. I tried to help him, but I couldn't get down there quick enough." A black shadow strode into the clearing. It was Vampire. He brushed past his sons to stand beside his mate, eyes like two pools of burning blood.

Sin let out a loud growl. “He didn’t stupidly fall at all, he pushed me out the way and saved me, it’s more than you did. You told me to respect my /elders/ and that I was stupid, and then you hit me and knocked me off the side.” The young tom cried out, shaking one paw angrily at Ghost. Blood’s eyes widened at the sound of her son’s word, this she-cat had dared to hit the kin of hers? A deep rumbling growl ripped from her throat and stepped closer. When Vampire appeared she blinked at him, a loving lick was pressed to his ear, this without taking her eyes away from the soft white form of Ghost.

Ghost spat angrily. "I should've stayed in the snowy lands! A kit's word i still held above mine here!" The white cat glared at Blood. "So I gave him a little prod, that's all. He must've deliberately fallen to make me look like some evil witch. Anyway," She looked down at Sin with pure hatred in her eyes. "I suppose I'll get off of your territory now." The she-cat leapt down and began to stalk away. Vampire bristled, but did nothing to stop the she-cat. He was not as touchy as Blood; he was just glad his sons were safe. He really needed to return to hunting, knowing he had six hungry mouthes to feed, but he waited.

Blood growled softly and continued to watch the snow white cat. Curling her lip slightly she bunched up her shoulders rather huffily. “Yeah you should have” she muttered under her breath though continued to listen to Ghost, this still ignoring her brothers rude comments now and then. Sin glared back up at her, hatred burning in his own eyes. “See the ice dung brain? I SLIPPED on the ICE idiot” he yelled up at her, soon silenced by his mother’s eyes. Blood glared at Ghost still though let the she-cat stalk away from her. “Stupid cats” she turned on Vampire, her eyes still dark with anger. After a second they softened a little and she sighed looking at the ground. “Mmpth. Being a mother is hard work, I was never this touchy was I?” she questioned heaving a sigh.

Vampire nuzzled her. "Your just protective, that's all." The big black tom cuffed both of his sons harshly around the ears, lifting his lip to growl: "I hope this'll teach you to listen to your mother in future." He gave Apocolypse's leg a lick before dashing back to his hunting. Apocolypse struggled to his paws. "Sorry," he mumbled.

Sin let out a yowl and roled over, trying to duck his fathers paw. it caught him on the ear anyways and left him a little dazed. "Yes Pa, sorry Ma" he mewed, looking away. Blood watched her two sons for a short while before sighing. Turning away from the two she began to stalk back towards the cave she called home. "Come, I'll tell you some old stories if you want" she muttered before vanishing into the trees.

Apocolypse hurried after his mother, not wanting to fall behind and get into even more trouble. His leg and ear stung. The black kitten tagged along behind his mother, gasping for breath, his skinny flanks heaving.
