{I am just one cat…}Name: Tigerheart
Gender: she-cat
Age: 28 moons
Clan: Eclipseclan
Rank: Deputy
{But is this really me...?}Looks: Tigerheart is a she-cat who is ready to show off her build. She is big, kind of bulky like her father and his mother before her. Most cats would hopefully think twice before taking this feline on. Scars mark past battles; they run along her legs and haunch. One scar shapes around like some fang proudly on her chest. Her pelt is mostly a light orange color, creamy set. On top of that her pelt has darker orange stripes. Hence, where she gets Tigerheart from. Light white cream paws touch the earth lightly when she walks. Muscles ripple hard and scare those in her way. Long legs move in rhythm, one after the other while hunting. Small rounded ears hear what she wants to hear, and sometimes hear what she doesn’t want to anyways. Amber eyes piece through those who she is looking at, they just seem to stare on. Her tail is ringed, and long like her legs. Tigerheart is truly a clan cat, and no one can say that she is not. If so, her crescent moon shaped claws will get the better of you; all alone, in the middle of the night.
{My eyes tell lies…}Actions: The large she-cat is some one who has little personality. She barely talks, only if it is important enough to. It’s hard to see through this feline, for pain has taught her better than any mentor. Strangers are not welcomed by her, and not even her own family. The clan she will protect with her life, but not bother to talk to them. In the warrior den she sleeps by herself, alone. If it is too crowded then outside would be perfect. Yes Tigerheart is odd, but she hates crowdedness. It is OK to have good warriors in the Eclipseclan, but maintaining them all is hard enough. It seems as if everything Tigerheart does is a secret. Only meant for her own mind, and that of her leader if Amethyststar asks. Over and over again this she-cat will prove herself a clan member. She has lost so much, but gains enough in the process.
To live silently, like a steady breeze.
To just be a whisper who helps those in need.
Who lashes like a storm with claws like lightning.
Who bears down on the enemy, and steals the trust of many.
{My past is filled with so much pain…}Past: As a Kit I was innocent: When Tigerheart was just Tigerkit she lived a good enough life, always wanting to help out in anyways. Instead of tumbling around with her sister and brothers, Tigerkit always found a way out of her camp. She had a huge imagination, and always hated it when some warrior would find her. Once she even went into another clan’s territory, and was found by that clan. It took a very long time before Tigerkit was back in her own home. The problem was that, even though all that happened, she went into a different clan’s territory, but was found near the border by her own clan. By then they put hold on Tigerkit’s outside time, and her father had died. It was hard for her mother, but then her mom found a new tom.
As an Apprentice I was destructive: As Tigerkit grew to be Tigerpaw along with her siblings, Lionpaw, Palepaw, and Skypaw, she found a much funnier path. Tigerpaw became a wisecrack, ignoring her mentor and doing what ever she wanted. Her warrior techniques were great; she held a lot of potential, but her attitude… It made it worse that her mentor was her uncle, Patchfur. He taught her as much as he could, and for as long as her attention span stood. Finally, one day, Patchfur got so mad at Tigerpaw he snatched at her with unsheathed claws. He swapped her right across the face, but at least the wounds didn’t say for very long. Tigerpaw became silent after that, not wanting to talk. Many had thought that she had lost her voice, for it had seemed that way for many, many moons.
Now I am a Warrior, a whispered secret in the wind: After Tigerpaw became Tigerheart, she made a promise to show others that her beginning life was just that, a past memory filled with pain. Her father was dead, her mother died right before Tigerheart’s warrior ceremony. Her two brothers, Firepaw and Palepaw never eve got through apprenticeship. So many were lost as Tigerheart was growing up, and yet, so much was gained. Her sister, Skypaw… well Skyeyes, was still alive. And her half brother, Wolfpaw was now with her. But that didn’t make any difference. Tigerheart still didn’t talk, and she wouldn’t for a long time. She didn’t want to, and really had no reason to. She did what she needed, and got over anything that pained her. After a few more moons, Wolfpaw became Wolfsong, and Tigerheart finally spoke, to him. Her sister was amazed, and Tigerheart spoke to her too. That was it though, and it was a while before she even spoke to Amethyststar. Now though, with Eclipseclan Deputy less, Tigerheart is reaching for that goal. She works hard, but needs an apprentice. Isn’t that all? Yes, she had one apprentice before, but he died on the night of his warrior ceremony. Poor Lionpaw, a badger had gotten him. It was odd, but life was like that. Strong willed, Tigerheart lives on, keeping secrets only meant for her leader, and holding judgment for strangers who deserve no welcome lick.
{And these words spell trouble…}In Character: Light cream paws struck the ground in a silent, hunting noise. A silky orange body lay low to the ground, round ears kept forward. Shadows moved across the feline’s amber eyes. Then, silence, and the heart beat of a mouse could be heard. Crescent moon shaped claws glinted once as the sun hit them warmly, and then a flash. Muscles rippled so easily under a light pelt. Long legs carried the she-cat far, and her even longer tail flowed behind. Fangs bore down upon the mouse, and with a quick movement, it was dead. How easy that was, and how simple. Tigerheart buried the dead creature, and dared any other animal to even think about stealing it. If they did, then the stealing cheap scape would have its final breath quite soon. With a content snort on her prize, the feline moved on. There were more to feed, and every cat knew that.
Piercing eyes gazed upon a rabbit not too far away. Again, Tigerheart crouched low, making her target. Claws out stretched, she lunged forth. The winds changed though, and it caught the feline before she could catch it. That wasn’t a problem though, for it seemed to have left behind a confused and dazed young rabbit. A quick swipe of the cat’s paw was all it took. Now she had at least two food items. Burying the young rabbit, Tigerheart went on. She needed to hurry, and move quickly. There were very few out Hunting, and food was becoming scarce because of winter. Tigerheart could remember the winter that had taken her brother Palepaw. It was horrible, but she needn’t dwell on the past. That would do little into helping her hunt. So, Tigerheart kept going. Her pelt rustled one way, then another. A cool breeze kept changing, and that meant the winds too. Shaking a bit, the feline hissed at the cold that was coming. It wasn’t all that bad, but what came next usually killed.
A few hours later, Tigerheart had at least four more meals. She had to go back twice to get them all. On her way back on her last trip she met Skyeyes. Her sister was a good hunter, and had caught about seven or eight pieces, so Tigerheart had to help her out with collecting. She hadn’t talked that whole day, which was natural. Her muscles felt good and she had hunted enough prey to go around. Plus she had enough time to enjoy the last bit of summer/fall. Winter was coming, and that always meant a storm. Something was going to happen as always, and it wouldn’t be pretty. All any one had to do was just wait, wait and watch for the death to come knocking at their camp. A low hiss came from Tigerheart again as it did this morning, it was probably the only self made noise she had done all day, or for at least three days. It was all she needed to say, and Wolfsong next to her agreed. Yes, winter was coming and hissing at it was all we could do.
