Name: Clearpool Gender: Female Age: 31 moons Clan: CloudClan Rank: Deputy Looks: Clearpool is a snowy white cat. Her pelt is of medium length and fluffy. She keeps it very clean and in the sun it almost shimmers, like frost. She has long legs and petite paws, with sharp claws. Her pearly white teeth are in neat little rows. Her tail is long and slender with a slight curl at the end. Her ears are a light pinky colour on the inside. Her best feature though is her eyes. They are a shimmering blue colour and clear like a pool of fresh water (hence her name). They sit beautifully in her heart shaped face. She does not scar easily and only has 1 noticable one, on her left shoulder. It is really two scratches merged together, in the shape of a cross. Actions: Clearpool is quite a quiet cat. She enjoys conversations with her friends but will generally keep quiet in an argument unless she is needed. She keeps herself to herself and she never complains if she is feeling down. The only way you can tell if she is upset is by her eyes. They will cloud over if she feels angry or scared or upset. She seems to have a quiet authority about her and cats look up to her and respect her. She is a caring cat but will not overly display her affection. She finds that kind of thing embarassing. She likes everyone unless they hurt her. She knows that she can never have kits as deputy but she likes to visit the nursery a lot, to talk to the queens and see how CloudClans kits are getting on. Past: Kit: Clearkit was born to a litter of 3 kits. Her brother, called Beacankit and sister, Songkit were quite nosiy and playful whilst Clearkit preffered to spend her time watching the warriors and apprentices go about their duties. This didnt worry her parents, Birdwing and Sorrelpelt, who to be honest were glad that at least one of their kits wasnt noisy. She soon became a favourite with the apprentices and they came to visit her often. They told Clearkit all about being an apprentice and she couldnt wait to experience it for herself. Though she was quiet she knew that she could make a good warrior who was valuable to the Clan if she worked hard enough. Aprrentice: Clearpaw was the lucky kit chosen to get the Clans deputy (at the time) for her mentor. His name was Thunderstorm and he was a very brave cat and his authority left her in awe of him at first. She soon learned though that he was as honest and genuine as the next cat and she excled and loved her training. He was an excellent mentor, always giving Clearpaw advice and being kind and patient when she didnt understand or got things wrong. Her apprenticeship passed quickly and was one of the most enjoyable and memorable times of her life. All too soon her warrior ceremony came and although Clearpaw was excited to become a warrior she would miss her training sessions with Thunderstorm. Warrior: Clearpaw recieved the name Clearpool at her warrior ceremony. Thunderstorm was very proud of her and Clearpool was overjoyed that her old mentor thought so. She soon recieved her first apprentice, Stonepaw. The young tom was surly and cheeky and Clearpool didnt really enjoy teaching him at first. She decided that she would teach him just like Thinderstorm had taught her. Soon though, they became friends and their training sessions became fun. The young apprentice excelled, particurlarly in fighting and Clearpool was very impressed. At his warrior ceremony he recieved the name Stoneheart and Clearpool cheered the loudest. The next day however, Stoneheart raced into camp screaming that Thunderstorm had been killed by a badger. Stoneheart bore the scars of battle and Clearpool watched distraught as her sister Songbird and another cat named Sandpelt carried in the noble deputys body. She mourned with a number of other cats until moonhigh. When the Clan leader announced that she was to be deputy she was overjoyed, but a little sad as she remebered Thunderstorm. She vowed to be the best that she could be at being a deputy, in honour of her noble mentor and friend Thunderstorm. Deputy: Clearpool enjoys being deputy. She never shouts and just asks the other cats to do things as she would like to be asked herself. She likes having her say in Clan matters and talks to everyone to hear their view. She hates fighting within the Clan and tries to resolve matters as quickly as possible. She has not been deputy long and is sure she will love it! In Character: Clearpool ran with her Clan to the gathering. She weaved between the cats, making sure nobody got left behind. She spotted a young apprentice lagging so she ran over to him and pushed her nose against his flank. "Its ok, just try and keep up!" she whispered. The young tom nodded and she held back some more. She was jogging along when she spotted one of the elders trip. The frail she-cat fell flat on her face. Clearpool bolted over to her. "Are you ok?" she gasped, nosing the cat to her feet. "Yes, fine, thank you." the elder replied, dipping her head respectfully then plunging on. Clearpool raced forwards until she was just behind her leader. She could smell the other Clans. CloudClan plunged into the clearing and Clearpool looked around with a feeling of pride. Relationships/Kin: Mother: Birdwing Father: Sorrelpelt Sister: Songkit Brother: Beacankit Mentor: Thunderstorm (deceased) Apprentice: Stonepaw Other: Sorry the IC is really bad! And this is from the old BC deputy auditions if you think you have seen it before you have Codewords: Poison Tears Crash Down [/center]

Name: Mythsecrets
Gender: Female
Age: 49 moons
Clan: BrightClan
Rank: Leader
Looks:
[Body]
Covering Mythsecrets’s lithe and wiry body is a beautiful blend of colors. Unlike many calicos who have patches of solid auburn, brown and black, her patches are tabby-striped. Her tail is similar to that of a raccoon with a gray base color and dark black rings on top of that. Unlike raccoon tails, her tail is slim and slender. Most of the fur on her left side is a ginger tabby pattern, save for her hind leg. The part of her leg that connects to her body, her thigh, is white though along the edges you will see gray tabby trimming. Like most cats, she has a white underbelly. Her chest is ginger though her paws are white. A small strip of white fur separates her chest and neck from her head, giving off the appearance of a collar.
Her right side is mainly gray tabby fur except for an odd patch of pale silver-white fur in the shape of an ‘x’. The gray fur continues up towards her neck, pausing at the white ‘collar’ and continues on towards her head.
[Facial Features]
The back of Mythsecrets’s head follows the same pattern. Ginger tabby fur on the left, gray tabby on the right. This pattern continues until it reaches her ears. Her ears stand all and proud atop her head. These two triangular radars stand apart from her body in coloration, though they fit in well with her face. Instead of one ginger and one gray, it seems the two colors have blended together to create a sort of brownish mix.
As mentioned above, her ears blend in perfectly with her face. Her face has the same gray and ginger mix that came out as a brown tabby color. This covers most of the right side of her face, just below her eye on the left side. Covering left eye is a patch of the familiar ginger tabby fur. Her amber eyes stand out against the gray fur on her right, and blend in with the orange fur on her left.
White fur begins at a point between her eyes and travels along the bridge of her nose until it finally reaches her gray and ginger velvet nose. Just below her nose are two small ginger circles at the top of her cheeks. The rest of her face is covered in white fur. From her cheeks protrude long, sensitive white whiskers.
Actions: As her name might suggest, Mythsecrets has a fairly vivid imagination. She can look at a blob of mud and say it looks like a robin and truly believe it. She loves to hear stories and legends and often visits the elders even though it has been many seasons since she was an apprentice. She is generally open and considers talking as one of her favorite pastimes. She listens to everyone and will do her best to help them out.
Despite her open nature, the many horrors and triumphs of her past have taught her to stay silent. She can keep a secret easily and would sooner die than tell anyone. Mythsecrets is incredibly stubborn and often states that she is the, ‘bridge between stubbornness and insanity.’
As a mother, her greatest fear would of course be losing her kits, though it has been quite awhile since they were made warriors. As a leader, her greatest fear is the safety of the Clan. She is loyal to the core and would like to believe that she would always put her Clan first. Unfortunately, this has become increasingly difficult as she is not only loyal to her Clan, but to her friends and her kin.
Past:
[Kithood]
Like any Clanborn cat, Mythsecrets was born with the ending of ‘kit’, and so her name was Mythkit. Mythkit was the only one of a litter of six to survive the early birth and the harsh winter she was born into. She lived a fairly normal life as a kit until she reached the age of five moons.
At five moons she was quite the little devil. She would send the camp into an uproar by ‘accidentally’ bumping a cat into another or ‘accidentally’ messing up the medicine cat’s den. At one point, when all the queens were sleeping, she and her best friend Russetkit slipped out of the nursery and headed towards the Moonlit Wetlands. While the two friends bravely explored the marshes, the cats at camp were going crazy as they searched for the two kits.
The two kits had come across a large puddle of mud and water and Russetkit dared Mythkit to jump across it to the patch of grass on the other side. Full of pride, Mythkit accepted the dare and jumped across, luckily, her long legs allowed her to make it safely. She called for Russetkit and her companion jumped. Unfortunately, Russetkit was rather heavy-set and landed in the mud. The mud sucked at his paws and he was being dragged under, Mythkit did the first thing that came to mind, she screamed.
The scream was heard at camp and warriors rushed there quickly. They saw Mythkit trying to pull Russetkit out by having him bite a stick and her pulling. The warriors were only a few pawsteps away when they saw a ripple in the buddy water. Something was gliding straight for Russetkit. One of the warriors, Hawkpelt, jumped forward, his jaws closing on Russetkit’s scruff just as a wide set of jaws opened and clamped shut on the ginger kit, also grazing the brown tabby warrior. A snake had bitten Russetkit. Almost immediately, Russetkit fell limp from exhaustion, shock, and the poison that ran through his blood. Hawkpelt too had gotten a bit of the poison from when the snake’s fangs had grazed him. A cut on his lower lip bled as he pulled Russetkit free. Mythkit leaped across, shaking with fear.
Russetkit died two days later, three days after, Hawkpelt died too. Mythkit’s mother Cinderfire died a week after Hawkpelt, too upset with losing her mate to continue living.
[Apprenticeship]
A moon after Russetkit’s death, Mythkit became an apprentice alone. The memory of her best friend, her mother and her father dieing because of her left a mark on her heart and her eyes didn’t shine as much.
Her mentor was a stern cat named Bristlejaw. Bristlejaw was one of the fiercest cats in the forest. Mythpaw was intimidated by the senior warrior and obeyed him without question, afraid of what would happen should she not. And so, for six moons, she trained with her mentor, fear striking her heart every time she saw the gleaming orange eyes.
[Warriorhood]
At twelve moons of age, she became known as Mythsecrets. By then she had opened up considerably and was a natural chatterbox. Despite her recent accomplishment, she still feared Bristlejaw immensely and purposely tried to avoid him.
At eighteen moons of age, she held a terrible secret. Lately, Bristlejaw had begun to show ‘affection’ towards her. He would rub against her, whisper in her ear and offered to go on patrols with her. Other cats thought it was sweet how the mentor and apprentice seemed to love each other. How wrong they were. When he whispered in her ear, they were orders, threats. The fear she had felt towards her former mentor still controlled her and she obeyed out of fear. That’s when she discovered her pregnancy.
She didn’t want to be the father of Bristlejaw’s kits, she didn’t want kits. If she had wanted them, she certainly wouldn’t want them to be born with the relationship of fear and dominance that existed between her and Bristlejaw.
Despite her wishes, the kits were born. Despite their father, she loved them immediately. She had three kits, a she-cat and two toms. Her daughter Hazelkit inherited her gray and brown tabby fur. One son, Fablekit, had his father’s dark fur. The other son, had her ginger tabby pattern only slightly darker and was named Russetkit.
She feared for her two sons, as Bristlejaw often talked of how his sons would grow up to be like their father. If the two tom cats misbehaved, he would scratch their ears or their shoulders. One cold leaf-bare morning, she decided to bring her sons to CloudClan. Bristlejaw was out hunting and so she took Fablekit and Russetkit away from their father.
When Bristlejaw came home later that night, he found his two sons missing and became angry. He asked where they were and Mythsecrets replied steadily, I have taken them away from their father. The tom cat went into a fit of rage and began to attack Mythsecrets. The Clan woke to the sound of their screeching and Mythsecrets relayed the story of the past few seasons, overcoming her fear as she did so.
Bristlejaw was banished when his offspring were two moons old. Mythsecrets went on to live her life in peace. News reached their ears that Bristlejaw had been killed by a CloudClan patrol for refusing to leave their territory and for killing one of their own warriors.
Her sons seem not to remember her. Fablekit has since become Fabletale. Russetkit is now Russettalon, and Hazelkit is now Hazelgaze. She was named Deputy at the age of 45 Moons when their former deputy died of greencough.
In Character: [Before her deputyship]
Mythsecrets padded into the hollow for the Gathering, her tabby-patched coat shining under the full moon. The trees guarding Jay's Hollow gave her a sense of security. The tall ash tree in the center was bathed in silver moon light, the four leaders standing int its branches. She knew it would be a while yet before the Gathering actually began so she looked around her. A few tail-lengths away sat Hazelgaze who was deep in conversation with two cats. With a shrug, she padded towards her daughter.
She sat down with a dip of her head to the two warriors, CloudClan by their scent. She looked up at them her amber eyes meeting the amber gaze of the black warrior who sat opposite her. Her heart stopped and for a moment she forgot to breathe. Hazelgaze gave her a strange look before mewing, This is Mythsecrets, she’s my mother. Mythsecrets, meet two ColdClan warriors, Fabletale and his brother Russettalon, Hazelgaze nodded to each of them in turn.
Mythsecrets smiled, Oh yes! Your names were announced at the last Gathering, I believe, she mewed, trying to keep her voice under control. She felt a slight warmth behind her eyes and she blinked them rapidly, hoping to prevent or postpone the tears that threatened to fall. With a last smile at her kits she turned around and padded over to sit at the base of one of the trees, the tears began to pour down her face freely.
Then she saw a familiar black cat padding towards her, What’s wrong? asked Fabletale.
Mythsecrets smiled softly, It’s nothing, you and your brother just reminded me of someone, she mewed. She looked directly at Fabletale, Were you born in AirClan? she asked hesitantly, wondering how much the cat knew of his heritage.
She saw alarm flicker in the cat’s amber eyes and the warrior tenses visibly, No. The ColdClan cats said our mother left us here so we’d be protected from our father, he mewed quietly. He paused, I think it’s a load of rubbish if you ask me, our mother probably hated us, he added.
Mythsecrets flinched before mewing coldly, I think you ought to listen to your Clan mates. Your mother cares about you more than you know, she mewed before padding away. She looked back and saw Fabletale staring after her in shock. The black tom cat took a hesitant step forward. She braced herself for Fabletale’s reaction but none came for a yowl cut across the hollow. She was saved by the start of the Gathering.
Relationships/Kin: Unwanted Mate (deceased): Bristlejaw:: Kits: Fabletale, Hazelgaze, Russettalon:: Father (deceased): Hawkpelt:: Mother (deceased): Cinderfire:: Best Kithood Friend (deceased): Russetkit:: Mentor: Bristlejaw
