~Wandering~

Bambi hid in the bushes of Sparrow-Wing park, watching a bird. She leapt far too soon and the bird flew off before she landed. She had come to the park after Tala's sudden rush into her twoleg nest, she felt out of place, and in need of a wander. She lay in the sun on the long, lush grass and flicked her tail at a butterfly. She hoped Cream was alright, she had heard that the pretty queen was to be kitting very soon. She watched two dogs play in the distance, and moved further away.

[SHADE. :D]

A longlegged, dappled grey cat stalked over the lush green stems of grass. Tala held her head high, despite the fact that inside she felt lonely and despairing. She still did not know why she had felt so jealous, so envious of Moon. She had wanted nothing more than to sink her claws into the pretty white she-cat's fur - and she was supposed to be her friend! She did not know why she was so bothered about Sentres. But inside she cared about him greatly. But it was obvious he wanted Moon, not her. Tala darted behind a bush and crouched there, starting to sob.

As Bambi backed into the bushes she heard some cat sobbing. She craned her neck to see who it was. 'Tala? What's wrong? I thought you and Sentres had worked things out?' she padded over to the dappled cat and nuzzled her side.

[SHADE. :D]

Tala opened her eyes and saw Ba,bi. She plunged her nose into her friend's fluffy shoulder, wailing in greuf. "I thought so too! But he likes Moon, not me!" the dappled grey she-cat roked on her haunches, sobbing in sorrow. She wanted to be with Sentres; how could she watch Moon be with him? She was just being freindly! The thought echoed in her mind, but she pushed it away. It was bound to go further!

'Oh sweetie! You like him, don't you?' purred Bambi. 'I can't say anything that'll heal a broken heart, but maybe it's not as bad as you think. Why don't you talk things through with Sentres, tell him how you feel?' she mewed quietly.

[SHADE. :D]

Tala looked at her paws, tears still trickling down her cheeks. "Yes," she sniffled. "But I can't talk to him. He'd laugh, or just walk away. I don't think we likes me since the forest fiasco." The dappled she-cat took a deep, shuddering breath, before shutting her eyes.

[razor]

"Sun you horrible ball of fur stay away from me!"

The loud shriek echoed out through the land as the sleek white body of a she-cat burst forth through the trees, her big brown eyes where glazed with tears as she ran and a clump of creamy ginger fur was lodged in her claws. Her heart hammered against her chest as she stumbled along. Sun ran after her a long gash in his shoulder and a pleading look in his eyes. "I didn't mean it Moon! I was just saying that-" he was cut off by Moon as she turned and slammed into him again. The sobbing white she-cat clawed the side of his face and hissed groggily before she disappeared. Sun gasped before collapsing in the dirt, let out a long dry sob he fell into silence.

Bambi sighed. 'You should still try, Tala. I'm sure he wouldn't laugh, or walk away.' then she heard the commotion. 'I wonder what that was?' she mewed anxiously.

^{Sentres prodded into the park after waking up to notice that none of his friends except Coffee and Cream were home, but the she-cat couldn't be disturbed while she was kitting. He heard the unhappy meows sounding around the park like the sound of his Twolegs' monster and knew something was wrong. Peeking out of the bushes, he discovered the once-peaceful park had gone into chaos and terror-and listening closer, some of the commotion seemed to be about him.}

[SHADE. :D]

Tala shrugged. She looked at her paws, before peering around the bush. "Sun and Moon are arguing," she mewed. There wasn't really much new here. Tala sighed. She knew she had to let Sentres go. "Moon can have him for all I care," the dappled grey cat mewed fiercely, before getting to her paws. She stalked away from Bambi, flicking her tail. She padded back to her nest in the opposite direction she had come, noticing Sun. "You okay?" she inquired, prodding him with a paw.

Bambi sighed, and her tail drooped. Everyone was so caught up in their own problems and she had only been trying to help but no-one had noticed. She slunk out of the bushes and slowly padded back to her twoleg nest.

^{Sentres could sense something wrong hanging thickly among the park, still. It seemed as if it were his fault. He mainly noticed Tala, then began to understand his situation. He kept wanting to blame himself for the disaster among his friends, and now just a torrent of sadness swirled inside him. He lay down in the bushes to think, remembering a time when he secretly loved Tala, gave up, and loved Moon....}

Moon broke through the bushes where Sentres sat and looked helplessly around, with fat teardrops of sadness rolling down her cheeks she fell down beside him. Letting out a dry sob she buried her head in her soft fur and cuddled closer. "Oh Sentres! My life is just one big messy hole" she mewed quietly, her words slightly muffled. Sun let out a long sigh and turned to look at Tala, his rich chocolate brown eyes were oddly glazed. "Moon's mad at me, again.." he mewed sitting up. Closing his eyes a little he shuffled his paws, feeling oddly uncomfortable.

Tala sighed. Not surprising. "What did you do now?" She sat down, trying to ignore the cry she heard from Moon, which made her ears itch with frustration. No. You gave Sentres up. She turned her gaze back to Sun, with difficulty.

"I said that.. that.." trailing off again he shook his head and licked at the slash on his shoulder. Looking up he met Tala's eyes with equal difficulty, ashamed off the things he said in her nest. He should have just covered up he love for her and kept it quiet, then things would have been alright. They would have still been true friends again, right?

Tala held Sun's gaze for a few seconds, then glanced over her shoulder to look at where she thought she had heard Moon's voice. "Gone to moan to Sentres again," the dappled she-cat hissed syingingly, her fur bristling. She forced herself to flatten it, looking at her paws. It was harder to bury her feelings for Sentres then she had thought it would be. Letting out a thin hiss of anguish, she looked at Sun again, feeling wretched.

^{Sentres tried to hold back his own tears. "I feel the same way about my own," he sighed.}
