The daylight was dying, and Tala lay in her bed. Her head was rested on her light grey forepaws, her wide sapphire eyes half-open so that they reflected the orange twilight. The she-cat turned over, her swollen stomach making her uncomfortable. She knew her kits would be born soon. The kittypet shivered with fear as she remembered the day's ordeal. The she-cat gave her coal-spotted shoulder a couple of licks to comfort herself, before shutting her eyes, ready for sleep.
Tala opened her eyes in the darkness. It was middle night, and the blinds had been pulled over the windows. She could no longer hear the buzz of the talking box, or the mewing of the twolegs. They were all up in their nests, asleep. Tala was beginning to wonder what had woken her up when a violent spasm of pain racked her stomach. The kittypet felt terror blossom in her heart; she was having her kits. She desperately wanted Sentres, but she couldn't get him now. Tala turned over into a more comfortable position, her eyes clouded with fear.
The she-cat felt pain clutch at her insides as the first kit was born. Three more came the same way, mewing pitifully. Tala cleaned the four kits, weariness catching at her mind. She turned each one other, checking that they were all alright. She then smiled at her brood, looking at their pelt colours. The first, a she-cat, had a cream coat and darker paws. She was the spitting image of Sentres. The second, a tom, looked similar, only his coat was longer and softer. The third, another tom, bore a long, silky coat of chocolate brown fur, but for the white dash on his chest. The last had a snow white coat, patched with cream, and darker dashs on her face. Tala cleaned each kit, before resting her head on her paws and slipping into dreams once more.
When she woke, the sun was up. The twoleg kits, both of them, were dancing around her, holding a kit each. Tala bristled protectively, and the female twoleg bustled up. The kits were returned to Tala's side, and she purred gratefully. Tala pricked up her ears, trying to make sense of the sounds her twolegs were making. The female was stroking each kit gently, naming them. The first she named 'Dakota'. The second, 'Koda'. The third, 'Tama'. And the last, 'Sayilu'. Tala looked fondly down at her kits. Dakota, Koda, Tama and Sayilu... They were perfect - she could not wait to tell Sentres.

((don't know if I'm supposed to reply here, but whatever))
The tomkit named Koda mewled loudly as he waddled over to his mother's belly. His fluffy fur stood up every which way and kept repeating his cries of nonsense.
He felt his mother's tongue run over his pelt and he found the cushion tummy. Koda begn to suckle quietly. Milk dripping out of his mouth. He paid no attention to it though.

A chocolate-colored bundle wriggled as he took his first breath of air in the new world. Stretching our his tiny limbs, he meowed loudly. What was that he was feeling...? Hunger! He crawled toward his mother's belly, and began to suckle. A sense of peace came over him as he felt other warm bodies push against his for a taste of creamy milk. [/blockquote][/color]
