Ladies and gentlemen, it seems that high positions and inactivity are two of the main things that bring a site down. It hurts and irritates every member to trust someone with the responsibility of a position to lead a Clan and they don't fulfil your expectations. Even more so when you tell them what the responsibility is beforehand and they say "Oh yes, I can handle it" and then boom, something happens and you're left holding the ripped bag.
I propose that the questions 'Why should I be chosen for this high position?' and 'Will I have time to be this high position' be posted up with auditions.
I came into BrightClan during the curse of the leaders. Meaning that I started with Sorrowstar and then Feather became inactive. Thrushstar came in and caused some drama, then Blue left. Brook came in with Wrenstar, caused some drama with the former Thrushstar after winning the audition, and then the position came to me. I knew the responsibility and I know it now, or else I wouldn't have sacrificed Runningcloud's deputy position to take the reins with Ghostlywind/star.
I've seen a lot of positions come and go, and I've gotten mad at probably all of you for being inactive at some point of time, or I've at least nudged you about it. I've gotten on Shard about it. I've gotten on Corb about it. I've gotten on Cheshy about it. I've gotten on Lonely about it. I've gotten on many, many other people. If you guys hadn't figured it out yet, I'm an ass for organization. I'm Obsessive-Compulsive to the point of being a douche bag. This "Taking a position and leaving" crap has got to go. If you can't handle it, leave, but expect to get a chewing out about responsibility.
