^{The new kit that recently joined MoonClan followed his new Leader's scent to her den. "Excuse me, Firestar, correct?" he mewed timidly and politely. " I thought that maybe you should tell the Clan who I am so no one mistakes me for some stray. And also, I'm around a moon, a moon and a half old."}

"Yes, that's my name and okay!" She purred to the little kit.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan meeting!" Firestar had leaped onto the Raven's Ledge, and was summoning her clan.

Shakenleaf turned at his leader's announcement. Finally! SHe would be introducing the kit, surely. He dipped his head as he trotted towards the place of announcement.[/font]

Spectreflame slid from the warriors' den. The longhaired white warrior glared mutinously at Shakenleaf as she passed him; she had used to be one of Firestar's biggest helpers. Now Shakenleaf seemed to have replaced her. She swept over to the Hih Rock where she crouched. Her icy blue eyes darted to the nursery as if she expected Pearlblade to slide out. When her mother did not appear she looked back up at Firestar.

^{Shardkit crept beneath where Firestar stood on the Raven's Ledge and looked up at her, his eyes showing he was wondering whether he was supposed to follow her or not.}

[SHADE. :D]

Spectreflame narrowed her eyes. Who was this strange kit? He had strange eyes, and a foreign scent on him. "Who is this kit?" the white warrior yowled suspiciously.

Shakenleaf barely caught the edge of Spectreflame's dirty look, and, puzzled, tilted his head at her. He had no time for such nonsense, though. What was Firestar going to do about the poor scrap of fur? He padded closer to the tomkit and leaned towards his ear. "You can folow her, if you'd like. It might be easier for the clan to take if they can all see you clearly. Don't worry, nothing's going to happen to you." It also might make it more apparent that Firestar was going to announce the kits arrival if he was up beside her, but Shakenleaf didn't say that. As he gazed up at the golden-brown she-cat leader, his eyes sparkled with the flame of undying love that he had jst uncovered deep inside himself. Maybe one day he'd tell her how he felt, but not now.[/font]

^{Shardkit smiled at the warrior, remembering where his voice was at. "Okay, thanks. What's your name, by the way?"}

"We are gathered here to make mention of a new kit. shardkit, come up here." She meowed. "This kit comes from us from the unknown, needing a clan. We are taking him in as a Moonclan cat so if we have any issues, talk to me. Not the kit. I need a mother to take care of him. Anyone?" She asked. "We also need patrols. Spectreflame, I want you to be in charge of patrols. Atroxfire has disappeared but I'm not replacing him yet. Spectreflame, you will cover those duties for now." She leaped down and went to her den.

[SHADE. :D]

Spectreflame nodded curtly, turning away. The longhaired white warrior gave a little snort, as though she had expected Firestar to place these duties on Shakenleaf's shoulders. Striding over to the small bands of warriors, she mewed; "Shakenleaf, you lead a patrol. Take Smoketale."

[FIREH!!]

"Spectreflame, I want ot talk to you in my den, when you're done assigning patrols." SHe padded off to her den.

Spectreflame glanced at Firestar, before flicking her tail at two more warriors, assigning them to patrols. She then slunk after her leader into the ginger she-cat's den.
