Lonelyheart ran from the camp, tears streeaming down her cheeks. Her life had begun to turn around, only to then sink down in sinking sand. She felt like she could never be repaired. Her life could never be repaired. All her issues seemed to be weighing her down, pulling her deeper into the pit. She decide not to climb out.
She arrived at the river, hot and tired from the run. She layed down for a while, and waited for the sky to darken a bit. She wanted to never be found after this.

[FIREH!!]

A cat followed her through the bushes. "Lonelyheart! Wait!" he cried, bursting out and confronting her.

Lonelyheart cocked her head toward the voice.

Skytomb, is that you? What are you doing out here?

She sighed and stood up. She walked toward him slowly.

[FIREH!!]

"It's me, Razortomb," he meowed. "Lonelyheart. What are you doing here?" he asked.

Lonelyheart shook her head.

Razortomb....you must understand.....I can't live like this any longer.......

She stood up. The sky was now streaked yellow and orange.

Razortomb....I have had a horrible life. My heart has been broken twice. I'm carrying unwanted kits. My life is a living hell. I can't take it any longer.

Tears began to fall down her cheeks. She lowered her voice to a whisper.

Say good-bye to Eclispeclan for me.

[FIREH!!]

"No, no, Noo!" he cried. "There is so much more for you here! Those kits will be welcome. I will make sure no one bugs you! Lonelyheart, please! Don't leave us!"

Lonelyheart turned and cocked her head.

Why do you say that? I am nothing. No one cares anymore.

She gulped loudly.

My kits....even if I did decide to stay, they would be prosecuted. You know that.

She turned to Razortomb. She looked into his eyes with a burning blue gaze.

[FIREH!!]

"Because I care. I have cared for you since I lay eyes upon you. I saw how happy you were with Cormorantstar so I didn't say anything. Please don't leave us. Please don't leave me!" he mewed desperately.

Lonelyheart closed her eyes. His words were coming in faster than she wanted them to. Her heart was burning.....no, not again........

You......do?

She sat down. This was all very new to her. A secret desire?

Well.......alright.

She stood up and walked over to Razortomb, and buried her muzzle in her flank. Tears began to flow again....
Her breathing began to return to normal then. She sighed, and backed away a step. She lowered her voice to a whisper.

Razortomb.....there is something you must know.......
I don't know how, but I know something is going to happen to me soon. I don't know what, or exactly when.

Razortomb let out a rusty purr and licked her ears. "What do you mean?" he asked.

Lonelyheart shook her head.

I.......think I'm going to.....die.

She put it quite bluntly.

I don't know.....I've been having these dreams about me dieing.....it's wierd, but somehow I think it's going to come soon.

Razortomb looked at her in shock. "What? You can't die!" he cried. He backed up a pawstep and fell into the lake. "Ahhh!!!" he screamed as a wave cascaded over his head.

Lonelyheart sighed.

Oh Starclan...

Taking a deep breath, she leapt in after him. Water enclosed over her head for a second before it bobbed above the surface. She could feel the current swirling aroung the lake, spinning her around....around.....
She shook her head, and coughed out a mouthful of water. She surveyed the water, but it was hard to see.

Razortomb!

Razortomb's head bobbed along. "Help!" he cried to Lonelyheart. He tried to swim byut was unsuccessful. "Lonelyheart!" was the last thing he said before the water enclosed over his head once more.

Lonelyheart paddled along steadily, her head bobbing in and out of the water. When she reached Razortomb, she carefully grabbed a hold of him by the scruff. She began to swim back to shore, but shore seemed to be nowhere near. She paddled around blindly, but she was tired, and stopped paddling.

Help!....

Razortomb gathered strentgh. Maybe Starclan was able to reach them a bit! He dragged Lonelyheart and himself onto the bank and collapsed.

Lonelyheart coughed as she was lifted on the bank. She lay on her back, and breathed in and out, until a mouthful of water came out. She shook her wet fur, and ran over to Razortomb.

Razortomb, are you all right?

"I-I think so," he coughed. Razortomb looked up into her eyes. "Don't leave me too soon," he whispered randomly.

Lonelyheart froze. Why was it that everyone was padding after her?
She stood up slowly and shook her fur again.

We have to go back to camp. You could get sick after that swim, you know.

She tried not to look directly at him while she said that.
She bit his scruff and pulled him into a sitting position.

Let's go!

Razortomb looked at her and wondered why she was always in distress. "Okay. Are you alright, Lonelyheart?"

Lonelyheart whipped her head around.

I'm alright.....

Then, she sat down, a sad look in her eyes.

Look, about what I said about me dieing......I know it's going to happen......
But you have to do me a favor when I'm gone......

[FIREH!!]

"What do you want me to do?" he asked, looking at her curiously. He didn't care if she were to die soon. He wanted to make her last days magnificent.

Lonelyheart sighed.

When I'm gone, I want you to watch over my kits. You know, make sure they're alright until they become warriors.

Her whole body shuddered.

Please....

"Always," he purred. " I will watch them and make sure they are they loyalest cats in our clan. I will protect them from the Tribe Of Nightmares." he swore.

ooc:// I'm gonna make him have dreams... I wonder if they are going to strike? Cause if they do, It'd be neat if Lonelyheart's spirit took over Razortomb's body =)

bic:// "Nothing," he remembered that he was having dreams. Not everyone knew about the tribe.

"Razortomb!" a voice shouted. Spicetalon skidded to a stop. "Are you all right?" he demanded, panting.

Lonelyheart was about to speak when Spicetalon arrived suddenly. She stood up straight. She didn't want Spicetalon knowing she had just about broke down in front of Razortomb. She stiffened her posture and began to speak.

Razortomb fell in the river, and I tried to rescue him. He was able to save himself though.

She shrugged for no particuallar reason.

Well, I'm going back to camp to dry off.

She shot Razortomb a look that said please-shut-up-about-the-dreams-I-had.

"YEah... Lonelyheart helped me out. Thanks for checking up on me though, bro," He meowed, "Let's get back to camp." The siblings bounded back home.
