Two pale grey eyes peered out of the bushes. A small white she cat stood waiting for her mentor. She sat down and looked across the shimmering lake. She looked back to see if her mentor was there.

Moonmist trotted over to Eclispe Lake. She had planned to meet her aaprentice there. She stopped and sniffed the air. She followed the scent to a bush, where Swiftpaw was hiding. Moonmist smiled. She reached out a paw and tapped Swiftpaw on the head.
I got you!,
She said playfully.

Swiftpaw almost leapt out of her fur as she felt a paw on her shoulder. "What the-" She nearly yowled. "Oh!" She sighed in releif, realising it was her mentor.

Moonmist jumped up excitedly.

She streched out her paw and circled it around, motioning at the area around them.
This place hear is Eclispe Lake. It is a beautiful place. It's also great to catch water voles....and fish, if you are that kinda cat. [/size] |

Moonmist raised her eyebrows.
Fish? Swim? Why.....I don't think so. How do I say this....? We aren't really swimming and fishing cats. But, I you really want to learn, I think I could teach you.
She stared down into the lake, mumbling to herself.

Swiftpaw leapt up and down excidedly. "That would be great!" She yowled, running over to the water. She stared at her rippling reflection and smiled to herself. Swiftpaw splashed the water with her paw and little crystal droplets flew everywhere.

Moonmist dipped her paw in the water. She tried to ignore the cold, shivery feeling that shot up her leg. She pushed it down farther until she could touch the bottom. She continued to mumble to herself.

"You afraid Moonmist?" Swiftpaw asked, amusamnt dancing in her grey eyes. This made her eyes appear to spin like to little tornados. "Its not so bad!" She called, stepping in.
