Ah. A bright sunny day down here at Eclipseclan. Such a nice, sunny day. Perfect for hunting and goofing off. Just what these cats were doing. Hunting, goofing off, and border patrolling. There had to be atleast six cats out, just going around and having fun.
Spicetalon looked round at all the cats. His clan and friends. Some or a lot were his blood kin. As he padded down the hill, he meowed, "You know, soon this clan's going to be overrun with Shadestar/Razorstar kin.'' He grinned.
"Haha, yeah. Except me, of course." The younger warrior, Gillwing laughed. "Yeah, I am related to none of you, lucky me!" He meowed happily.
Greyfalcon smiled. "Yeah.. But Sunheart I'm sure will want to have kits then my blood will join in with that." He smiled. Greyfalcon ran fast and leaped into the sky. Then he landed perfectly on four paws. "Ahh, a beautiful day." He meowed.
Ah, indeed it is. And now we will be joined by more cats soon.

A soft breeze swept back the large fern that was concealing Fernpelt's lithe tortoiseshell from. She padded forward quickly to catch up with her friends, having stopped to marvel at a butterfly with such beautiful markings it could hardly have been real. When she heard the other cats' conversation she laughed, a high, tinkling note that soared, then tailed off to an almost silent chuckle. Hey, I'm not Shadestar or Razorstar kin either! And neither is Scarletpetal, wherever she got to!' she said, smiling at the beautiful day.
Scarletpetal had been chasing the very butterfly that Fernpelt had been marveling at earlier. She crashed through the undergrowth after it, only to find she had lost it and found her friends. Suddenly she became aware of how much noise she had been making. 'Sorry!' she said. 'Sometimes I forget I'm not an apprentice any more!' she chuckled, her laugh different to Fernpelt's in so many ways, yet still managing to be a sweet song note.
ooc; random, I know!

// Scarletpetal is related to them. She's Ebonysky's daughter, and Ebonysky is Amethyststar's brother. xDD
The sun was unusaully bright. The day was surprisingly warm. The breeze which caressed the trees was light and teasing. Beacansong lifted his head as it reached him, letting it curl about his throat. His ribs where visible as he breathed in, and his huge, triangular ears pricked up as he opened up his burning golden eyes again. Beacansong still looked the same, strange and unusaul. His legs, still as long and thin as aspen branches, made swift progress over the grass. His short tan fur was bristling very slightly, giving it the look and texture of velvet. "I'm guilty of that," he mewed, as Spicetalon spoke of carring Shadestar and Razorstar's blood. He reflected that Spicetalon was his great-uncle. He could not help smiling.
A slender body, the ears and posture similar to that of Beacansong, slunk behind the tom. Scrawltale padded behind her son, tail raised. She scented the breeze, a smile dancing on her lips. The she-cat's fur, bronze as ever, was sleek and well groomed. Scrawltale admired the suppleness of Beacansong's shoulders, and the way his shoulders flexed as he walked. She remembered nursing him as a kit, and his petty little tantrums he had used to throw. Scrawltale's smile widened, but misery tugged at its corners. She remembered her beloved Aspenkit, her dead son... Scrawltale shook away her sadness. The day was much too beautiful for such thoughts. "As am I," she mewed, thinking of her mother, Amethyststar. She wished the black she-cat would sort out her head.
A lithe, dappled body bounded alongside Spicetalon at the head of the group. Pantherstealth's ebony socks pounded the earth, making dull noises. The lean tom cast a look behind him as Beacansong and his mother spoke, and his usaul cheeky grin flickered across his handsome features. His father's features. Pantherstealth turned to look at Spicetalon, his half brother. And Scrawltale, his neice, And Beacansong, his great-nephew... The tom reeled off the list in his head. The cheeky warrior trotted on, a skip in his step. "We're taking over!" he joked, eyebrows wriggling enthusiastically.

ooc; Iknew that! *twitches* Just testing! bic; Scarletpetal caught the last of the conversation, and Fernpelt's comment. 'No, I'm Ebonysky's daughter, who is Amethyststar's brother, so I am related to them.' she said, smiling. Her bright pelt shone like flames in the cold sunshine of autumn and she looked especially well groomed today, for no apparent reason.
Fernpelt nodded, amending herself. 'Oh yes, I forgot that. Sorry! Great StarClan you are all taking over!' she joked, then padded towards Beacansong. 'Hey. Haven't spoken to you in a while, huh?' she said, smiling at him.

Beacansong's mouth was open, his yellow eyes glowing with laughter like sunshine. The tom jumped slightly as a soft voice drifted into his ears. He looked up, laughter dying away, as he recognized Fernpelt. As usaul, he was blown away by her beauty. Her ears, large and pointed; her fur, smooth and glossy and patched with beautiful autumn hues. And her eyes - that wonderful sea-green shade, captured in a black rimmed, almond-shaped case. The young warrior blinked, pulling himself together. This was his former mentor, his deputy. He had no chance. Trying to remove the passion from his expression, Beacansong gave an almost-painful smile. "Hi," he mewed, trying not to sound as choked as he felt.
Scrawltale laughed at Spicetalon's comment. She pushed up beside the grey tabby, ears drooping and eyes filled with mock sadness. "Oh, oh, uncle Spicetalon," she mewed in a babyish lisp. "A thorn scratched my nose..." The she-cat have another tinkling laugh, turning her shining eyes to Pantherstealth, Scarletpetal and Gillwing in turn. Scrawltale turned, ears up, as she noticed Fernpelt and Beacansong falling behind slightly. She sighed. She knew how her son felt; she could tell. She wanted nothing more than to warn Beacansong, to protect him, but she knew he would not thank her for it. Scrawltale flicked her tail in defeat. Her kits were warriors now; she had to accept that fact.
Pantherstealth gave a low growl-like laugh, amber eyes flashing cheekily like fire. The dappled tom fell back a step, to trot beside Scarletpetal. He flashed the red-striped she-cat a grin. "Hi there, half-neice," he mewed, flicking his tail in greeting. Pantherstealth's black gloved paws pounded a steady rythym on the earth as he walked, like a continous drumbeat. The lean warrior tossed up his head with another wide grin. Life was good - at least, for now.

Spicetalon's eyes gleamed as he licked Srawltale's nose. "Is it better now?" He asked her in mock concern. Then he laughed. "Ah.. I miss hanging out with the family." Spicetalon grinned and kept walking.
Gillwing nodded then scented something. It was Silentpaw. "Uhhh... I have to go.." He meowed. "My apprentice is waiting for me." He meowed then headed off.
ooc;; This is when he goes to the post with Shardeh.

Fernpelt smiled back, if a little half heartedly at Beacansong's reaction. 'So, how've you been?' she asked, pausing for a second to comb a scrap of moss from her pelt. She nodded as Gillwing spoke, and waved her tail at his back. She then padded on again, her pelt brushing slightly against Beacansong's.
Scarletpetal looked up as Pantherstealth spoke. 'Hi!' she mewed, smiling at the large tom. Suddenly, a strong wind swept through the forest, and Scarletpetal was sure she could smell cats, but not from any Clan. Her brow furrowed as she tried to scent it again, but it was lost. She opened her mouth to say something, but decided against it and padded lightly onwards.

Beacansong gave Gillwing a breif nod, glad for an excuse to look away from Fernpelt. Just looking at her face made his pelt prickle. He watched the grey and white tom leave the clearing with a sigh. The warrior turned as Fernpelt spoke to him again, his yellow eyes grazing her green pair. "I've been okay," he mewed. "Busy, y'know." Beacansong scuffed the earth with his paws as he walked. Memories of his apprenticeship were being thrown against his skull. He remembered his first attempt at hunting, and how he had snapped at Fernpelt when it had not been a sucess. Beacansong felt drenched with embarrasment and shame at his selfishness. The tom then remembered his later moons as Beacanpaw. He recalled his confusion and self hatred at his feelings for Fernpelt. Beacansong looked innocently up at Fernpelt, eyes revealing nothing.
Pantherstealth loped along beside Scarletstripe, a grin still on his face. The dappled tom remembered being an older apprentice whem Scarletpaw had been made an apprentice. He remembered how he had teased her and joked with her, as he had done with all of the apprentices. Not many cats could get angry with Pantherstealth. Except Ravencurse. Pantherstealth's shoulders bristled slightly as he thought of his half-brother. He could not help but be glad he was dead, what with his doleful glare and depressed attitude. Pantherstealth turned his sharp amber eyes back on Scarletstripe, and noticed her expression change and her mouth open as though to speak. But it then closed as if she had decided against words. "You okay?" Pantherstealth murmured, quiet for once.

Fernpelt nodded absently, also lost in memories of training Beacanpaw, and the pride she had felt when he became a warrior. She couldn't forget the times he got snappy with her, and smiled remembering. 'Yeah. Clan life is always busy, I suppose.' she said. 'I remember when you were my apprentice, and that time you got really snappy at me.' she smiled remembering. 'But that's the things that remind you of the better memories, right?' she said, eyes shining.
Scarletpetal furrowed her brow and nodded slowly. 'I... I smelled cats on the breeze.' she said, then added to her sentence to make it sound less stupid. 'No Clan scent on them though. But it's gone now. Probably my imagination.' she said, looking up at Pantherstealth.

Beacansong nodded slowly. The tom looked at the ground, embarrased that Fernpelt also remembered his snappishness. The warrior blinked, thinking of the first prey he had ever caught. A pigeon. He remembered Fernpelt's pride. Beacansong remembered fighting Spectreflame and Firestar with Gillwing. He twisted around to see the scars that still laced his thin pelt, like memories themselves. He smiled. That was the battle that had earnt him his warrior name. Beacansong looked up at the sky. His sister, Sunheart, had been more interested in her mate Greyfalcon than being a good warrior, but Beacansong was determined to be the best he could be.
Pantherstealth frowned. "I don't you imagined it, somehow," he mewed. "My sister, Serpentsong, once smelt rogues while we were out on patrol. I didn't smell it, and she thought she'd imagined it. We dismissed it, and returned to camp. A few minutes later, rogues attacked. She died that day." Pantherstealth looked unusaully sad for a moment, before his expression turned thoughtful. "They probably wouldn't notice if we snuk off to look... Would they?"

Fernpelt watched as Beacansong twisted to look at his scars. She smiled, remembering. 'Do you miss being an apprentice?' she asked. She knew she sometimes longed to go back to those carefree days before life crashed down on her shoulders.
Scarletpetal nodded, still frowning. 'I don't think they'd notice. Come on.' she said, and suddenly leapt into the undergrowth as if chasing a mouse. She stopped and lay low against the cover of a throny bush.

ooc// If I am not supposed to be here, then I will leave!
Leaves crushed under his feet and he was likely to scare some of the prey away but Thymepath didn't care all that much. All he knew was that there were several scents he was following, one being Scrawltales and the other was Beacansongs. Both cats would be upset not to know what had happened to their lovely couple of cat only in the last few minutes. Being as thin and lithe as he was, it wasn't hard to catch up on the group of cats for they were moving pretty slow and probably chatting away like most families do. As the scents grew stronger, Thymepath began to slow down until he was at a silent yet brisk trot and when he could hear sounds that weren't his heavy breath or his heart beating, then he knew he was close. He slowed down to a walk when he knew they were on the other side of the bracken and bushed through, to be greeted by a mouse. It saw him and ran off and Thymepath couldn't of been more embarrassed. There stood Panthershealth and Scarletpetal, looking like they were about ready to catch it. "Sorry," he said under his breath and gave them a slight nod. His tabby body moved past them in one graceful step and he spotted Beacansong as well as Scrawltale in a nano-second.
"Beacansong! Scrawltale!" he exclaimed, his voice quivering and his body shook as a wind passed him. "Sunheart has given birth to healthy kits and Grayfalcon is possibly on his death bed!" he said, most of his words running into each other and he gave them a nervous look, almost pleading at least one of them to return with him to camp. Though taking a look around him, he realized that he had just interrupted something. Something that he hoped was too important...

Pantherstealth nodded. The lithe, dappled tom swung his head around slightly to look at the others. They were immersed in conversation. The brown pelted tom veered off quickly into a fern bush. Pantherstealth pushed his way through the furry fronds, shaking scraps of leaves from his thick fur. The dappled warrior shook his tail with a strong, rippling motion, and sneezed reflectively. Pantherstealth then turned to wait for Scarletpetal. Hopefully she had followed soon after. He did not fancy being seperated from the ginger tabby, not in these hostile times. Not that he was worried about his safety. His face wrinkled up at the thought. No, he was worried about Scarletpetal.
Beacansong looked up at the sky. He thought hard about the question Fernpelt had directed at him. Part of him screamed yes, but the other told him firmly to say no. Beacansong twitched his shoulders in indecision. He did miss his training sessions with Fernpelt... They had been fun, productive, and they had given him something to do. Not that he didn't have anything to do as a warrior... Beacansong turned back to the tortoisesgell she-cat, turning his head slightly to one side. "Well..." he mewed thoughtfully. "Yes, I do miss training. But warrior life is good, too." The warrior finished firmly. The thin pelted tom turned as he heard a new voice. "Hi, Thymepath," he greeted the other warrior. At Thymepath's next words, Beacansong's eyes widened. "She gave birth?" he spluttered. "Wh-what? What happened to Greyfalcon?" Scrawltale stared at Thymepath with equal shock and worry, her yellow eyes wide and scared.

Thymepath's legs shook feebly and all his wait fell to the back of him, making him fall straight down on his butt. He took a few deep breaths since he was tired and achy from running. But yet he had to tell Sunheart's family about what happened. He cleared his throat and flicked his tail over his large paws. "Grayfalcon was out hunting, I guess he broke away from your patrol or something and he got attacked by badgers I think it was. Spicetalon carried his body back to camp but it seems that he has broken his two back legs. Littlefox says that he may make it but the pain he is in makes me doubt severely. Sunheart seems to be okay now. When she heard about Grayfalcon, she went into stress induced labor and gave birth to four healthy kits. Petaldance and Spicetalon were helping her when I left. Grayfalcon is in a sleep that he might not wake up from," he said spitting out each word but trying to sound calm. Even though his voice quivered, he breathed calmly when he was finished and looked to see what the reactions were.

Scarletpetal loped easily after Pantherstealth, then overtaking him and thudding through the damp forest. She stopped and opened her mouth, scenting the air as another steady breeze swept through the forest. There it was again- rogues. 'Do you smell that?' she asked Pantherstealth.
Fernpelt nodded, knowing the feeling. She was lost in thought as Thympath came towards them. 'Greyfalcon?' she asked, furrowing her brow. She gasped as she heard what had happened.
