Sentres

Sentres sat on the edge of the fence. Oh how he longed to roam free in the forest! He was afraid, though, that some of those rougher cats would shred him. Last time they'd onl chased him out.

Coffe prowled up the side of the fence, on his side. 'Hey Sentres!' He miaowed up to the tom. 'Cream's staying home today. She needs her rest. She'll be kitting very soon. Seen anything unusual out there?' he nodded his head in the direction of the trees. He leapt up to join Sentres on the fence.

Sentres smiled in sight of his friend. "Well, I can't see from here, but I'm looking for those cats again...."

'You and those wild cats!' He playfully cuffed the other tom over the head with one brown paw. 'Wanna see if we can catch a bird?' he asked, feeling adventurous.

Sentres grinned. "Sure!" he mewed excitedly.

[SHADE. :D]

The soft pitter-patter of small paws on snow filled the air, punctuated only by a crunching as a dead leaf was stepped upon and mixed into the icy crust. There was a breif lull from the soft crunch, then a rush of air as a grey pelted cat launched itself atop the fence, landing gracefully beside Sentres.
Tala smiled at the two toms, eyes shutting momenterily. She looked over at Coffe, then spoke. Her voice was quiet and sweet. "Hello, Coffee. Where's Cream today? I hoped to see her." She waved her tail at Sentres, smiling breifly at him. "Hi, Sentres."

'Cream's resting, her kits are due any day now.' his eyes sparkled with excitement with the mention of his kits. 'So, how are you, Tala?'

[SHADE. :D]

Tala smiled again. "That's good. I hope she is alright." At the tom's question, she mewed: "Oh, I'm fine. You two?"

[fernie. (:]

Coffee licked one paw idly. 'I'm fine. I'd better go and see how Cream is, but do you two want to come? I'll get her to come out into our garden so the twolegs don't chase you.'

Sentres perked his ears happily. "Hi Tala," he mewed. "And no thanks Coffee. I'm gonna check out the forest." And with that he leapt off the fence.

[SHADE. :D]

Tala looked at Coffee. When she heard what Sentres mewed, she swung around to him and mewed: "No, Sebtres!" Her cry was too late; he had already leapt off of the fence and into the dense grass below. "Sorry, Coffee," Tala breathed, launching herself after the tom.

[fernie. (:]

'No, wait, I'm coming with you!' he yowled, not wanting Sentres or Tala to get hurt. He leapt swiftly over the fence and raced after them.
