heartsleeves A slender cat sat atop a pile of spray-soaked rocks situated beside the Serenity Falls. The cat had a lilac tabby pelt, and his sapphire eyes were fixed on the rushing water. The waterfall was wild today, with winter approaching. The wind played with the water, picking it up in plumes and throwing it onto the banks, or causing waves to lap at the dissolving mud. From his lofty position, Heartsleeves was safe. No water covered his body. His paws weren't even muddy. An expression of calm serenity graced his young features as he watched the roaring water. Here, he felt safe. Here, he didn't have think about Fireweasel. Here, there was nobody asking him if he was alright. A spasm ran over his handsome face. He hated that. He was fine, just fine.
Well. As fine as any cat could be, being stalked by their murderous father.

Preciousring He who makes a beast out of himself... A bald, pink creature hurried through the forest on thin but strong legs. He had to hurry back to his camp-place now, so they wouldn't know of him and the wisp of violet he had visited earlier.
Preciousring hurried along, as fast as he could go, and then, suddenly crashed into something. He fell over onto his back, webbed feet sprawling. He looked up, saw Heartsleeves and let out a scream of shock.

heartsleeves The tom stiffened as he heard rapid pawsteps. He heard a thump and a loud screech that sent him almost two tail lengths into the air with shock. The volatile warrior jumped from the rocks onto the cat who had wailed. His whole face was a mask of utter fury, most unlike the calm, serene expression he had been wearing only a moment ago. "You stupid, badger-faced idiot!" he snarled at the older tom. "You did that deliberately! I know it! You thought you could scare me and give all your stupid friends a laugh, didn't you? You did! I knew it!" He pushed his lilac forepaws into Preciousring's throat. "You'll pay for this, you wretched excuse for a cat!"

Preciousring He who makes a beast out of himself... The hairless cat began to wail, and struggle as Heartsleeves landed on him. "Preciousring didn't mean to! He didn't want to bump himself!" He squealed, flailing. The cat began to make a gurgling noise that may or may not have been sobbing. "Preciousring's friend isn't here! And she's not stupid!" He screeched, although he wished that she was here, maybe she would make this crazy cat let him go.

xx "Excuse me, Heartsleeves but I do believe that you going to crush the throat of your own Clanmate there, no?"
The roar coming from the Serenity Falls could never block out the loud gruff growl coming from the throat of the ginger warrior in the corner. He stood off to the side, near the forest and most of him was shadowed by the towering trees beside him. He leaned against one of the trees, the support was what he needed now because the sight of a Clanmate attacking another sickened him to a point where he could barely stand. He even added a dramatic sigh, before glaring at Heartsleeves with his mismatched amber and hazel eyes. When he stood to full height, he was much taller than the other two and his fur made him look even more massive, like a lion. He looked like he was a lion on a hunt. Thats how much his anger burned for this situation. Heartsleeves was a good warrior and a good fighter, but now seeing him attacking a weaker cat that just took a wrong step made him want to rip his throat out. Somehow he stayed composed. "Maybe I'm wrong, but I do think that's not aloud?" Garnetcloak asked, coming up closer to them, keeping his narrowed eyes locked on them. He didn't want to get involved with it now, but he would report this to Fernpelt when he returned to camp. It was a pity to see cats fighting among their Clans.

heartsleeves The lilac tabby looked up as a voice sounded. He leapt away from Preciousring and darted behind a fern bush, his fur bristling. Fireweasel! He'd seen him. The ginger fur, the burning eyes. His father had come back to kill him. Heartsleeves peered out from around the bush. He then realised that it was not his murderous father. He stalked into view again, his eyes narrowed. Anger bubbled up inside of him. He struggled, as though he was attempting to lock up his emotions, like every other cat did, but soon a burst of fear let the fury free. "Shut your mouth, you're not clan leader!" he burst out, but his voice was not angry. It was high-pitched with fear. Terror had replaced his anger the moment the burning words left his mouth. Heartsleeves stared at Garnetcloak, his lip trembling slightly. His whole body was tense, as though he wanted to flee. Everything about this cat reminded him of Fireweasel. They looked so similar, and that rage in his eyes... It made the young warrior quail.

Preciousring He who makes a beast out of himself... Preciousring rolled to his paws the moment Heartsleeves released him, his eyes still wide and tear filled. He stood for a moment, shaking, then looked at Garnetcloak. "P-Preciousring didn't mean to fall and scare the Heartsleeves, Cloak of Garnet. Preciousring tripped, kin. And he was very frightened of the Heartsleeves, kinny kinny kin." The bald cat gabbled quickly, his mustard coloured eyes still wide. He turned to face Heartsleeves. "He didn't mean to scare the Heartsleeves!" He yowled, still very distressed.

xx Surprisingly, Heartsleeves wasn't angered by the sight of Garnetcloak. He was afraid? The large ginger tom stared at the warrior, crouched in a fern bush but when he stepped out her looked angry, like he was ready to burst out at him. Garnetcloak prepared himself for an attack but it was just a blurt of terrified words. The older warrior was shocked, confused, and still angry at the same time. He shook his head and gazed at Heartsleeves for a few moments, not as angry as before. More frustrated with the warriors attitude. "No, I'm not. But do you think Fernpelt would approve this nonsense? He answered the question for the lilac colored tabby, shaking his head. After hearing Preciousring's side of the story in his weird way of saying things, he nodded and padded a bit closer, so that the three bodies made sort of like a triangle. "You're fine, Preciousring. It was an accident. Just be careful next time," Garnetcloak said, trying to sound reassuring but his voice was just as gruff and strict as before. He turned to Heartsleeves and added, "And Heartsleeves just overreacted a bit. We should all go back to camp and I'll mention it to Fernpelt when they return from the Gathering."

heartsleeves The tom shrank back as Garnetcloak spoke to him again. His eyes were as huge and scared as a newborn kit's. The lilac coloured tabby tom shied away as the big ginger tom padded closer to them, his head raised so that his neck was exposed. He barely even heard Preciousring. He stood, trembling, as Garnetcloak spoke. As soon as the tom had finished he danced sideways, his paws trembling. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry," he wailed. "Please don't hurt me father, I really didn't mean it." He crouched on the grass for a moment, his paws firmly covering his sapphire eyes. When he next looked, he rose and looked at the other two cats, his eyes still fearful.

Preciousring He who makes a beast out of himself... Preciousring nodded jerkily at Garnetcloak, his eyes round. "Yes. Presh had an accident, kin." He said quickly. He sat down near to Garnetcloak and began to rub at his neck; it hurt where Heartsleeves had pressed down on it. He sniffled quietly, then hiccupped. The warrior stared at the ground until Heartsleeves began wailing. Preciousring practically screamed; Heartsleeves had shocked the bald tom, who had zoned out a little. "Kin kin kin! Noisy, kinny kin!" He meowed, his eyes huge. "The heart sleeves will attract the beasties, kin!" Preciousring glanced warily around, as though something was already coming for him.

xx Of all the cats that had to get into this little tussle, it had to be the weirdest most paranoid cats in the Clan. Preciousring talked in an odd way, as if it wasn't exactly him saying it. Both the toms seemed to have major mental issues, especially Heartsleeves, who was extremely emotional. First angry and now scared to death of Garnetcloak. After things had calmed down for a short few seconds, Preciousring, the bald tom, was by his side, staring at the ground while Heartsleeves was just cowering and then suddenly jumping to the side. The sound of his loud wail startled Garnetcloak as much as it did to Preciousring, but the tom screamed too and started babbling as usual. Garnetcloak liked it better when he was zoning out. The ginger tom was nervous about approaching him. He decided that maybe being strict wasn't the best answer for Heartsleeve's trauma. Padding forward with a wary gaze, yet he looked more gentle than usual. "Heartsleeves... I'm not going to hurt you. And I am not your father. It's just me, Garnetcloak," he mewed, softer and gentler before. He touched the lilac tabby's shoulder with his fluffy orange and white tail to demonstrate his goodness. Garnetcloak didn't know who this cats father was, but whoever it was, it damaged this poor tom severely, to a point where Garnetcloak was almost frightened of what he would do next.

heartsleeves The tabby didn't even look at Preciousring as the tom began to wail. His ears were pressed flat to his skull. Heartsleeves's sapphire eyes bulged, glistening with fear, as Garnetcloak padded towards him. He inhaled shakily, as though anticipating an attack of some sort. When the large ginger tom simply rested his tail tip on his shoulder, the warrior exhaled. His face seemed to twist, then he frowned. "In know who you are," he mewed in a indignant voice - his normal voice. He glared at Preciousring as though he resented the noise the bald tom was making. "I'm going back to camp." The lilac tabby padded into the trees, not waiting for the frightened Preciousring or confused Garnetcloak.
