Alone Once Again

Moonmist trotted ahead of Razortomb, waving her feathery tail in front of his muzzle before leaping over a small stream of the silvery water. She stopped near Serenity Falls and sighed happily, "Isn't it beautiful?" she asked, craning her neck around to face the tomcat. She smiled, "If we ever have kits I wanna name one Silverkit. Or maybe Stonekit. I dunno, just something to do with these falls... I know! Cascadekit!" Moonmist grinned and got up. Then she walked over to her mate and nuzzled him, "Will we ever have kits?"[/color]

[FIREH!!]

<sub>Razortomb laughed as she rallied off kit names, and he grinned. If you want. He replied, purring, as he rubbed his head against hers. The tom felt the slight mist coming from the falls, and stretched as it touched his fur. Droplets of water turned his pelt silver, and caused him to look more ghostly than he had ever in moons.

Moonmist smiled, "Good, because... well, because..." The she-cat gulped, How do I say this? "Well, I'm pregnant," she looked up at him and smiled, "We're having kits!"[/color]

_{Razortomb was nodding as she was talking, then he stopped. He was going to be a father?!? Wha-What? He meowed, shocked. Then he relaxed and purred. We're parents! He purred loudly, twining his tail with hers and pressing close.}

<sub>Moonmist grinned hugely, He's not mad! Or dissapointed! The she-cat rubbed up against her mate, purring thickly, "Yeah, we are." Then she looked up in to his eyes, "Brokenpaw will have some more relatives then what he already has. Should we tell him now, or wait a little while longer? Because he does have every right to know. And then what would we name them?" Moonmist started to pace back and forth in front of Razortomb, mumbling to herself, "Should we name one after one of our parents? Or maybe..." she trailed off.

Moonmist. Relax. He laughed. I'll tell Brokenpaw, and for the names, we can name them when they are born. He pressed up against her side. Don't worry, my little worrywart. He meowed, smiling.</sub>

_{Moonmist sighed and nodded, "Okay." The white she-cat sat down and yawned, "I'm tired." Her eyes fluttered from open to shut every once in awhile. She looked uo at Razortom and smiled, "They'll have a terrific father. So handsome and loyal." She patte dthe ground next to her, "Come lay down."}[/color]

bic;; Thanks. They can't have a better mother, one so beautiful and majestic. He lay down beside her and began grooming her pelt. You know, the last time I was here, was with Lonelyheart. I stopped her from killing herself. You know, I think she would be happy I am happy. He meowed. As he looked around, he took the area in when he was younger. He remembered standing in front of her, almost falling in so he would stop her. He smiled at Moonmist and meowed, I love you.</sub>

_{Moonmist nuzzled him, "I love you too," she purred. The new queen looked at the falling water, "I'm sure of it, yes..." She entwined their tails and glanced at a bush as something moved within it. A squirrel poked it's head out, looked straight at the two for a moment, then darted off towards a tree in a panicky haste. Moonmist giggled at the funny little squirrel.}[/color]

_{Razortomb stiffened. Wait here. He whispered. The tom disappeared into the roots of the tree, and returned with the squirrel in his mouth. He padded over to Moonmist and meowed, For me lady. He smiled, pushing it towards her.}

<sub>She grinned and took the squirrel. "Thank you, kind sir," she said before taking a bite out of the still-warm flesh. "Yummy."
