.yes, i am here.
.ashes to ashes. Peanutdrift
.thorn in my flesh. Tom
.long time, no see. 33 moons [deceased]
.no rivals, no lies. SerenityClan
.no foes, no disguise. Warrior
.here i come, at your call.
Peanutdrift pads around on large paws. He may be a slow hitter but if one hit connects, you’re out for the count. Hidden in each dangerous paw are claws that grate on ice and rock and can cling to flesh and fur. Peanutdrift's powerful legs are short, which gives his weakness of lack of speed but each muscle compacted there gives him his one-hit K.O. ability of strength. His forelegs round off at the tops into his winding shoulders. His powerful shoulders flatten into his toned, muscular back that leads into a rather long tail.
Peanutdrift's muzzle is like a tortoise’s: pointed, pink and with wide nostrils. Above this, his eyes are set out equally and a tear-drop of white blots between them. They are narrowed and rimmed with black that streaks out to his neck. Peanutdrift's wise eyes are monochromatic green. The outer ring is a gentle dark-green, like a leaf in the Spring. The second, largest ring is a dull olive-green that is dotted with tiny specks of emerald and yellow-green. The third and smallest ring embroiders the pupil like a sewing stitch and is a sea-green color than can barely been seen, for it is usually swallowed up by the olivine. However, if he is pleased, the sea-green brightened and takes over his iris.
On the topic of pelts, Peanutdrift is a rather blotchy tom. His white and brown body is flecked with dark-brown blots and black streaks. Peanutdrift's fur is short, soft and smooth, like a turtle‘s shell. His coat is mostly white, with the big blob of brown and black on his back, legs, tail and head. He is crowned with black that ends in a swallowtail formation on the neck and a tabby mark on the brow.
.in my own thoughts and my sights.
Patience. Patience. If he was dead, Peanutdrift would be the one in StarClan that would honor the new leader with the gift of patience. If you were to see him, you would immediately recognize him for his large body, short legs, and gentle demeanor. He rarely gets angry with others; he simply putters around and tells them to do it over until they get it right. Some say he’s boring, but others think he’s nice because he’s always open to talk if you need help with something. He could be call the Clan Counselor. He’s very grandfatherly, though he has no children or mate. He prefers to teach others and he is very good at cheering others up. Peanutdrift is a good friend to those who get close to him. He is the kind of tom who will trot up to a random cat and get to know them. Peanutdrift trusts easily, and everyone seems to feel it when he has been let down. The entire day seems to go to hell. A loyal warrior to the death, Peanutdrift does not hold grudges and will sacrifice himself for things other would call “stupid”.
.innocent from the start.
He was born the normal way, to normal parents, in a normal Clan. When love came to Irisleaf and Redwind, everyone chattered that they just knew it was meant to be. When the two had kits--Pondkit, Peanutkit, and Followingkit--everyone ooh’d and ahh’d about how beautiful they were and how they were destined to be great warriors. But…of course…all good things must come to an end. Once the Clan found out Irisleaf was actually SerenityClan’s little call girl for most of the toms there, Redwing flew into a rage, killing Irisleaf, Pondkit, and Followkit and breaking Peanutkit's legs in the process. Fearing for his four-moon-old life, Peanutkit dragged himself to the medicine den. Immediately coming to Peanutkit's aid, the medicine cat sprang to the rescue but some warriors, but it was too late. The three were dead and Redwind had vanished.
The medicine cat said that Peanutkit would never walk again, but he defied that writ and became Peanutpaw to his mentor Cheetahfoot. Cheetahfoot was a fierce, unforgiving tom who drilled Peanutpaw as if he was an ordinary cat, which he was. He didn’t want to think that he had a handicap. He was rather depressed when his mentor was slain in a Clan war.
Becoming Peanutdrift at twelve moons, he was 22 moons when he received his first apprentice Finderkit, teaching all he knew to the tom. He was patient and vigilant, as he was when he was first brought into the world, but the tom had to be put down after being scratched by a rabid fox.
.this is them in my own pattern.
Redwind;Irisleaf = parents
Pondkit;Followkit = siblings
Cheetahfoot = mentor
Clearpool = crush
.and this is the reason why I cry. Poison Tears Crash Down
