hearts say more than names but here's mine Runningcloud no man can defeat me for I am a She-cat time is but a variable to space 50 moons i will always serve my kin in SerenityClan i used to be a deputy but now I am a Medicine Cat
about as recognizable as a Marine in a squirrel nest Click Runningcloud is a large orange tabby she-cat with amber stripes and white paws. She has medium-length hair and her eyes are light green. Runningcloud is aggressive if provoked (which is usually at the smallest thing), and she is a loyal friend and mediator. Her eyes usually seem sad. Her body is built for strength not speed and her ears and tail are usually held up. She seems very ominous if you don't know her, but her personality is worth the chance. Runningcloud used to have a scar over her left eye that made her sight blurry sometimes, but she was healed of this after becoming the medicine cat.
does that make a difference to my ways Runningcloud trusts no one (such as newcomers) unless you have proven yourself and her compliments are rarely given. However, if they are, consider yourself to be honored. She believes everyone should be firmly yet justly disciplined, and Runningcloud does not tolerate derogatory comments about anyone. However, she has a tendency to be belligerent and will not hesitate going to war if called to do so. She tends to be hasty.
never talk about my kithood Runningkit was born on a snowy morning alongside Onyxkit, Flyingkit, and Waterkit. She didn't mind not having parents, for her father had died in a rogue war and her mother had just ran off to be a loner. She and her brothers were fostered by a queen named Dreamstep but she never had a good relationship with them. They grew apart. Runningpaw was usually the one heedlessly defending her mentor Howlingwind from a badger or fox that was posing no danger to them. If it was in her sight, she was going to bodyslam it to the ground. She learned lessons well and could always be found muttering some nick-nack of wisdom from Windstripe or Reflectstar, even in her sleep. When Howlingwind was killed, it broke her heart, but she and Howlingwind's other former-apprentice Windstripe vowed to continue in his stead. She and Windstripe never truly became friends since the year Howlingwind died.
Runningcloud became deputy after Jasminestar became leader, but that night, a dangerous rogue named Chaosfire came and there was a great battle. SerenityClan had to call upon BrightClan's help. Later, Thrushstar went home, but left some of his injured warriors in SerenityClan. Runningcloud promised BrightClan that she would escort any warriors back home. When she was taking home the dead BrightClanner Murdercalling, she and a BrightClanner Ghostlywind witnessed a horrible sight: Twolegs capturing Thrushstar and Serenity medicine cat Morninghawk. After a calling from StarClan as she went home, Runningcloud talked to Jasminestar who announced what had happened. Runningcloud went to the Moonshard with fellow warriors Brindletalon and Mouseclaw, and conversed with StarClan. She returned home as the medicine cat of SerenityClan. Later, she became the mentor of Willowkit, a young medicine cat apprentice. However, her apprentice was slain by rogues.
However, as time when by, she gained a new apprentice, Lavenderpaw, who was the daughter of her now-missing friend Mouseclaw and her friend, Mouseclaw's mate, Pastelsky. Lavenderpaw was rambunctious but eager to learn.
speaking forever as my rank declares Thundering steps echoed in the distance. A large she-cat, covered in orange and white fur, bounded down a narrow path. Her eyes, a murderous hazel, matched the leaves crunching under her. Runningcloud's sprints were even with that of her prey, a juicy vole up ahead. She bounded left, right, and over a log before leaping on the side of a tree and lunging down. She felt flesh separate under her claws and she smiled.
Finished with patrol anyway, Runningcloud hurriedly returned to camp, the vole clamped in her mouth. Her tail twitched in greeting as another warrior took her place. She dropped off the vole in the fresh-kill pile before trotting off to the warrior's den to clean off her bed. She would probably need to go out again for some more pinecones.
The darkness of the sky was oppressive even though the lights of the stars tried to shine. A gentle breeze ran through the trees, slowly beginning to rock them as if they were dancing. The she-cat just rested herself inside of the den. The breaths coming from her mouth were slow and quiet. The room was filled with shadows as it blended Runningcloud in its thin layers as she lay in her den. The loud roars of the Thunderpath could be heard far off. She could see the reflection of her pale-green eyes in the puddles left from yesterday's rain. She said nothing. Now only the sounds of her own breathing began to fill the room. Flashes of memories raced in her head.
Then a small faint sound could be heard from outside. Another warrior, Runningcloud thought belatedly. The hold of her requiems slowly diminished and brought her into the world of reality. She was still haunted by Windstripe's slaying. It was as if he still haunted the clan some way.
Runningcloud shook her head. No, none of that, she snapped at herself. She wanted to make Howlinghawk proud, not cower like a kit in front of a badger.
my own hearts and my own thoughts Daughter of Cougarpounce and Calanthespirit [now just Calanthe] Sister to Onyxstealth, Flyingheron, and Waterpulse No mate Apprentice to the late Howlingwind Mentor to the late Willowkit. Mentor to Lavenderlace
