Looks:
---Head[/size]
His eyes are a deep, dark maroon red; a feature caused by genetics. Those somber eyes are circled by ringlets of white as if a thin mask is covering just a small portion of his face. From the eyes to the maw, which is a much darker portion of his face, is his most soffest spots in combat. His muzzle is thinly clipped with only a few white whiskers, many torn from fights. The maw isn't much darker then the grey pelt, but more of a smoke black. Though most of his bodice is a musket color and shades of black he has a pink and white nose. Ears are large, around 3 inches, and has black ear fluff.
---Body
His pelt is a mix of musket grey and other dark colors. Grey dominates most of his body while the undercoat is darker and more black. His belly fur is thin and a dull white, coming from the middle of the chest down to the loose fur on his back legs. Thanks to his long legs and lithe body he is able to run fast to catch prey or run from predators. His paws are small with white claws and a black dewclaw as well as his pads.
---Extra
He stands about 18 inches and weighs around 4-10 pounds. He is lithe and ranges as very skinny compared to most of his companions. His banner is as long as three-fourths of his body, excellent for balancing him when he is on high ground.
Actions:
---Characteristic
Gravedancer is a very calm, somber cat. Though his eyes betray his moods, he is usually quite happy with himself due to the lack of deppresion or abuse. He can be very understanding with other cats situations, but if he is ever caught in one it is never known to others. While he keeps most of his background hidden from other cats, he is a good listener with others.
---Abilities
With long legs Gravedancer is able to travel far and fast. His body is lithe, keeping him in good shape and having less wind resistance. With easy balance, thanks to his long tail, he can climb trees or rocks with his powerful limbs. Fighting verbally is one of his worst subjects, even mentally. Too kind and calm to even put himself in the position of battle and weilding blood upon his claws, he is usually the loser in simple play-fights. Though with his speed and big enough opponents he can trip them with their own weight.
Past:
---Background
The line of genetics come from mostly street cats, kittypets, and loners. Only a small portion of his genes are Clan. He has red eyes because of his ancestors, the streets cats. All of those he was related to had lived in a polluted area, thus making their eyes darker shades of colors. His great-great-great-grandfather's and grandmother's were the wide population of cats with red eyes. Thus his great-great-grandmother and grandfather, great-grandmother, grandfather and father had maroon eyes. The rest had black eyes, giving him dark maroon eyes.
---Kithood
Gravedancer had been Clan born, just like his parents. He lived a normal, healthy life. He had plenty of kitmates to play with, but was the least attractive. He was short and fat, sometimes teased by the she-kits. He didn't care of course, and his friend would always defend him. "Your not very pretty, either." Skullkit would retort at the she-kits. They would pipe down by then, and Skullkit as well as Gravekit would continue their game of hide-n-search. Skullkit was one moon older then Gravekit, so he was like a older bother to him. No matter their age, they treated each other equally.
---Apprenticeship
After the ceremony and meeting his mentor, it was quite odd from then. Gravepaw could not see Skullpaw as much, for he was far too busy. Being a moon ahead Skullpaw had far more duties then Gravepaw. Gravepaw became lonesome and shy, while Skullpaw was becoming popular among his play-mates. Gravepaw's parents encouraged him to be more social but there was always that awkward silence when he started a conversation with others. Friendship did not interfere his work, in fact he worked much more harder then he would have dreamed. 'Maybe if I work harder I can become a Warrior early. Then me and Skullpaw can graduate at the same time!' were his thoughts in a nutshell. So he worked harder then before, rushing through every subject in training, missing out most of battle. He felt no need for it considering he was quite good now, for his weight could easily help him in combat. He was recommended by his mentor early, so his ceremony was pushed down for only a couple of days.
---Warriorship
He had became slimm now, his legs longer then most cats in the Clan's and his body so skinny. It was a wonder if he ever had been over-weight. He was attractive as well, only counting down the moons and suns for his Warrior days. It seemed to take forever, but the ceremony was deffiantly an odd one, because Skullpaw had gone missing. Though Gravedancer was younger, Skullpaw was still an apprentice. It was horrifying for most cats, because after the ceremony in which they must stay in vague Skullpaw had spoken such menacing words that he was striped of his new ranking. What was so disturbing was that he spoke with such vulgur. It was clear that before the ceremony he had suffered injuries from falling off one of the heights in Cloudclan. He became so violent and crude the only option was to chase him off. But they didn't for he had gone missing, and no cat could pick up his scent. It wasn't long before it became old news, it was such a relief to the Clan for him to be gone and well out of the terratories of the Clans. But no matter how crazed he had became, Gravedancer always missed him. And in just the two months he had became a Warrior, his parents had passed away in elderly age. There wasn't much to grieve, because of Skullpaw's latest acts he was content to see his parents leave this terrible world. There was nothing to be sorrowful about, either. So now he stands, happy with the world. There was nothing to break his shell, and nothing to make him cry out to the world. Was it a sin to say he was happy?

---Let's Go Back
It was a cold, crisp morning. Winter had brewed in right under their noses, and was unpredicted by many. It was much of a suprise to exit the Warrior's den and feel the cold sting of snow under his paws, and it was a reaction many had used. Caterwailing and jumping back with every hair sticking up, Gravedancer stood stun. 'What is this?!' He shouted in his mind, lifting up his paw and examining the white ice. It was still unknown to him no matter how long he stared at it, and his only conclusion was that the clouds were melting. He looked up, starring at the grey sky. Flakes fell and tenderly kissed his cheeks, convinced that the clouds were melting. At first he thought he was going insane, just like Skullpaw. 'Skullpaw,' Gravedancer thought grimly, the suprised expression whiping away and replaced with a glint of sadness. Now he was deep in his thoughts, thinking of how much he missed his bestfrend. He didn't get much to think for a she-cat was running towards him, leaping in the snow like a rabbit. As he was about to laugh to himself he caught himself as he saw a serious face looking straight at him. "Gravedancer, come quick!" She called a few fox lengths from him. Realizing it was an emergency as she whipped back around and headed for the elder's den he followed, trying his best not to fall in the thick snow.
He entered the warm den, the chatting of cats welcoming his presence. It was eerie to see all these cats in one circle, and looking at him expectantly. He didn't say anything but stared back with a more slow pace. "Hurry over here, hurry!" Cried the she-cat that had being plowing through the snow towards him a few seconds ago. He squeezed himself through the group trying to see what was everyone's deal. If he had any words to say he would have choked, and he swore his heart skipped a beat. He stared, eye to eye with his dying mother. He did not say anything, just stare in horror. It seemed like words were being transmitted to him as that small sparkle of light in her eye was dissapearing. Slowly, so ever slowly, her eyes dimmed till they were lifeless, her final words engraved in his heart.
'I love you.'
