Sure-footed.
Broad-shouldered.
Self-confident.
These are the words you think of whenever Oleandergaze strides past on broad paws that hold up muscled, fluffy-pelted legs. He is soft and heavy for an apprentice, making others envious of the success he seems to rake in night and day. Rumors float around because of this. He is carefree and does not mind. He ignores the words and stands alone most of the time. Oleandergaze cannot be classified into a certain clique. Oleandergaze's silky pelt is a myriad of monochromatic browns. His eyes are acorns, light brown on the inside with a ring of sienna around them like kabuki markings. Stripes of cocoa mix with light tawny tips that blow in the wind. His fluffy tail is dipped in dark brown. Oleandergaze is built like a fighter and often uses his girth to break up fights. His pointed ears are acute and his burnt-sienna nose is a good tracker. He trains and conditions a lot, toning his body always.
Oleandergaze is known for speaking respectfully to others and rarely using contractions. Oleandergaze also has a number of other odd personality traits, though whether or not they are results of Ceruleanlight's mentorship is unknown. One such trait is his apparent lack of common sense, believing at times that he can get what he wants by not wanting it. At other times, he takes copious notes, but forgets that he cannot check them during a fight. He also has a keen sense of honor and respects his opponents, refusing to hold grudges against those who have defeated him and returning favors to those that have helped him. Oleandergaze feels others should show the same respect, and is disgusted whenever someone is unnecessarily cruel to their opponent. Oleandergaze's attempts to prove and better himself were recurring themes for his actions throughout his apprenticeship. He is generally optimistic and believes that with hard work and passion, he can surpass natural genius, but can be prone to depression when faced with setbacks.

Oleanderkit was born the only healthy kit among his dead siblings: Brightkit, Tornkit, and Orangekit. He, however, was given the name of the most deadly plant ever--oleander--but his personality couldn't be more different. He was expected to be the best from the very beginning. When Oleanderkit became Oleanderpaw, he was given a mentor named Ceruleanlight, but when he turned a year old, Ceruleanlight and his parents, Zephyrmist and Sinisterclaw, were caught betraying CloudClan and was exiled to the Rogue lands. He heard rumors they was strangled for trying to suck up to the Rogue Leader, Chaosfire. He awaited Stormstar to give him his warrior name and it was granted: Oleandergaze, in honor of his beautiful, wisdom-filled eyes.
After his warrior ceremony, tragedy hit. A faithful warrior and queen of CloudClan--Lemonzest--was suddenly found dead! Dewpaw and Tawnypaw, her daughters, were suddenly thrown into a circle of deep depression. Oleandergaze, bearing feelings for Dewpaw, decided to come after her and comfort her, feeling that his best place would be by her side, to protect and guard her. The male did not know about the guardian from StarClan that kept her safe.
