rosemarypool Rosemarypool was asleep. Her head on her paws, her expression peaceful, her long, plumy tail curled over her nose. The longhaired she-cat was deep in dreams. Dreams of her mother. She was a kit again, but this time she was being nursed by the cat she had often seen flashes of, in her dreams. But this time she saw her clearly, for the first time. It was her mother, Lonelyheart, the cat she had never known. She had a soft white coat, marked only with a russet patch on her chest. Her eyes were warm and bright with love for her kits. Rosemarypool was bouncing around with her three brothers. Even Brokensoul was playing with them, his expression filled with laughter. She turned to look at Lonelyheart, her eyes bright. The white queen's smile turned to a snarl. Her beautiful eyes turned the colour of blood. Rosemarypool opened her jaws in scream.
She gasped, waking up, her sides heaving. The she-cat could feel tears on her cheeks. She couldn't even remember the dream that had got her in this state. Rosemarypool wiped her cheeks with her silky white forepaws, trembling.

Razortomb
Broadway is dark tonight. A little bit weaker it used to be. Broadway is dark tonight. See the young man sittin' in the old man's bar, Waitin' for his turn to die.
Razortomb was sleeping peacefully near his old apprentice, Rosemarypool. But he was always sure that he was sleeping lightly, in case something was wrong with Lonelyheart's kits. Even though she had told him to stay away, and she hated him, he still loved her kits.
He awoke with a start, as he heard a gasp from Rosemarypool. His eyes fixed on her, he noticed tears on her cheeks. He shuffled over to her. Are you okay? He asked her quietly, as to not disturb any cats. Let's go outside and talk. He murmured.

rosemarypool The longhaired dark brown tabby she-cat hauled herself to her paws, and quickly groomed her ruffled pelt. When she was finished, she took a step forward, to exit the den, but a voice interuppted. Rosemarypool turned to see her former mentor, Razortomb. "I'm fine," she lied, pushing her way out of the den. But he was still there. She sighed. She didn't really want to talk to anyone about her dream. "I just had a stupid dream, I'm fine." The tabby glanced around for Silentsong, but she couldn't see him. As she thought of the calico tom, her heart fluttered. She would never tell anyone about her crush on the tom, especially not Silentsong himself. Rosemarypool padded to the fresh kill pile and took a wren. She sat and began picking out the feathers, wondering if Razortomb would join her in a moment.
If he did, she hoped he'd forget about her dream. Rosemarypool spat out a mouthful of pale grey feathers, and began to eat the bird. It did not take her long to finish it. Prey was plentiful, as it was late summer, so there was enough for everybody to eat as much as they wanted. Rosemarypool buried the remains of the bird, her green eyes guarded.

Razortomb
It's just another day, And it feels like you're still running late.
Razortomb was still concerned about Rosemarypool, but as he followed her out of the den, he knew she didn't want to talk about her dream. So he followed her to the fresh-kill pile and took a vole. As he tucked into it, he started up idle conversation. How's training Firepaw going? He asked, looking up at her as he chewed. The tom was still a little nervous about Rosemarypool, and it increased as he saw that her eyes were guarded. He knew something was wrong, but he wouldn't pry any farther.

rosemarypool The longhaired she-cat stood, swaying her tail from side to side. She was about to look around for cats to go on patrol with her, deciding she needed to do something useful, partly to take her mind off her dream. Then she heard Razortomb's pawsteps. She turned, blinking. She knew he cared, but she did not want to tell him about her dream. It would just upset him. Talking about Lonelyheart always did, for some reason. The longhaired warrior shrugged at his question. "It's... Going alright," she mewed. "She's a very able young cat.. She'll be a good warrior one day." She knew that Firepaw needed a lot of work yet, though. The apprentice was still very easyily distracted, and her mind was not always on training. Rosemarypool looked down at her white paws for a moment, before looking up for cats to join her in a patrol.

Razortomb
I don't want to give it up, Just to show you I'm in love, 'Cause you know, We're Inseperable.
Razortomb nodded. She seems to be easily distracted, but I didn't think my kit could be so distracted from training. After all, that's all she'd talk about while she was a kit! He laughed. But I know you'll do a great job with her. Now, I've got to go hunting, see you later! He touched noses with her, before trotting out of camp.
Firepaw
You look so beautiful today, It's like every time I turn around, I see your face.
Suddenly, like lava erupting from a volcano, a fire coloured she-cat launched from the apprentices' den. Firepaw's paws barely touched the ground as she shot towards Rosemarypool. She skidded to a stop, but didn't stop fast enough to keep herself from running into Rosemarypool's flank. Sorry! She squeaked, before backing up a bit. Can I go on patrol with you please? I'll be real good, I promise!!! She asked, bouncing around her mentor's paws.

rosemarypool Rosemarypool turned as Razortomb spoke again. She smiled slightly. He was right. She touched noses with the tom as he padded away. She then felt something collide with her flank, and blinked, shocked. Rosemarypool turned, to see Firepaw standing there, grinning. "That's okay," she mewed, trying not to smile at the clumsy apprentice. "Yes, but we need to find-" The longhaired she-cat smiled as Glacierfrost padded up to them, though a little nervously. She didn't want to show herself up in front of a senior warrior. "Okay." The warrioress stepped back, waiting for the older tom to lead the way. She looked down at Firepaw, hoping her apprentice would behave. She didn't want to seem like a bad mentor.

Silentsong
I'm falling in love You tempting dove I'm needing your heart I'm falling apart His dreams were filled with nothing, empty blackness. This was how they usually were, unless they were a nightmare about his kithood or the rare, happy dreams about his hopeful future with Rosemarypool. Her, about a moon or two after giving birth, lying on her side just outside the nursery entrance. Happy kits bounced about at her paws, himself playing along with them, teaching them he hunter's crouch and playing with moss balls. Ah, yes, that would be so very nice. But how could such a wondrous thing ever come to be if he was too much of a coward to tell her how he felt? Her gasp sounded through his dream and he woke up, his eyes wide open. Silentsong noticed that she and Razortomb were talking, so he still laid in bed. When then exited the den, he waited until the perfect moment to make his entrance to the scene. It hadn't come quite yet, but they were about to leave, so he faked a yawn and padded outside. "Going on a patrol?" he mewed, his deep voice kept quiet and serene. "Room for one more?"[/blockquote]

"Two more! Twooooo moreeeee!"
The little white apprentice was, as usual, everywhere at once. As soon as she heard the word patrol come out of the warrior's mouth, she was there. A patrol! They were so much fun! ... But they would be more fun if Maplepaw was with her... she had plenty of friends, but somehow she didn't like the thought of the brown tabby tom being snatched up by rogues and taken away. Flicking it away, she pretended to scold her mentor. "Silentsong! I want to go tooooo! How mean of my mentor," the usual apprentice would have earned themselves a cuff over the ear for that, but the charm and endless giggles that streamed out of her mouth made it much too obvious that she was joking. Bouncing about, she found herself beside Firepaw. "Hey! Did y'hear 'bout how all those apprentices got stoled from camp? Even the leader's son got stolen! Maplepaw too. I'm gonna find him! I'm gonna find him and bring him back, but, y'know, maybe I shouldn't. It'd be kinda dan-ger-ous." Old news, Cascadepaw. Everyone in camp probably knew about it by now. But she was certian that she would find her tabby friend.
Unfortunately, she was a small cat with a big hope.

rosemarypool Rosemarypool turned her head slightly to the side, her green eyes wide. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a familiar face. Silentsong. Her heart leapt. The longhaired she-cat turned, her tail raised, and smiled at him. The first real, full smile that had touched her lips since she had woken from that terrible dream. The young warriores nodded. "Of course," she mewed brightly. Just seeing Silentsong, just hearing his voice seemed to have cheered her up immensely. The warrior jumped, startled, as a white shape darted across the camp, appearing near them. Rosemarypool winced slightly at Cascadepaw's loud voice, but smiled nonetheless. Oh no! Cascadepaw and Firepaw together! But for once, it didn't matter that she was going to be in charge of two very hyperactive apprentices. Silentsong was going to be there, so she didn't mind.
Rosemarypool turned, fixing her bright green eyes on Glacierfrost. She hoped the prickly tom wouldn't mind having Silentsong and Cascadepaw accompanying them. The young she-cat blinked down at her paws, waiting for somebody else to lead the way.

glacierfrost_xx_lean on me He meowed, his voice hard. "Cascadepaw and Firepaw will be staying with the group. No running off on your own or else you will be punished, understand?" He questioned, turning his hard gaze towards the white and orange apprentices before flicking his tail at the warriors to follow him. With that, Glacierfrost headed towards the camp entrancem slipping out into the forest, [/ul]
