Amethyststar lifted her head from her paws and yawned, showing her sharp white fangs. She noticed Selenekit bouncing around her, and shooed her daughter outside. She was going to take Selenekit to MoonClan soon. They could take care of her. But she wanted to keep Corbynkit. He reminded her of her father, though she did not feel an ounce of love for him, nor Selenekit.
Pushing the kit out of the way with her paw, Amethyststar padded from her dem. She shook herself, blinking rapidly in the bright sunshine. She then leapt up onto the Shade Rock. The smooth black stone was warm under her paws. She called out for her clan, her voice loud and clear as it cut through the air.
Pantherstealth and Scrawltale padded from the warriors' den, both in deep discussion. The two sat side by side beneath the Shade Rock. Scrawltale flicked her tail respectfully at her mother before continuing her argument with Pantherstealth.
Beacanpaw trotted happily from the apprentices' den, his stumpy little tail held high. Life was good. He sat beside his mother, and eyed her sulkily when she did not acknowledge him. Spectrumpaw padded after his friend, his white and grey fur unsaully neat. His green eyes were glittering with excitement. He was well aware what this ceremony was all about.
"We are gathered here today to honour four young apprentices," Amethyststar began briskly. "Spectrumpaw, Scarletpaw, Frogpaw, Glacierpaw, could you come up here please?
Spectrumpaw held his head high as he padded forwards, his eyes bright. He stopped in front of his aunt, and leader, Amethyststar.
"I, Amethyststar, leader of EclipseClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon hese apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn.
Scarletpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Scarletpetal. We honour your patience and compassion, and we welcome you as a full warrior of EclipseClan.
Frogpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Frogpounce. We honour your loyalty and your faith, and we welcome you as a full warrior of EclipseClan.
Glacierpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Glacierstripe. We honour your courage and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of EclipseClan.
Spectrumpaw, from this moment on you shall we known as Spectrumflash. We honour your fierceness and your bravery, and we welcome you as a full warrior of EclipseClan."
Amethyststar laid her muzzle on each new warrior's forehead in turn. Spectrumflash licked her shoulder in reyurn, before leaping off of the Shade Rock and padding over to sit beside Pantherstealth. The tom nuzzled his nephew.
"Scarletpetal, Frogpounce, Glacierstripe, Spectrumflash! Scarletpetal, Frogpounce, Glacietstripe, Spectrumflash!"

The newly named Scarletpetal was overcome with a feeling of happiness. As everyone chanted her name, her paws tingled. She chanted the other new warriors names along with the crowd.

Glacierstripe was completely overwhelmed, and, as they say, on cloud nine. She floated to Scarletpetal and congragulated her, continuing to chant the others' names. Glacierstripe, huh? She'd never dreamed of such a name. Deep inside, she felt it was a fitting name. She was suddenly very anxious to find Gillwing, but held her exitement in for whne the ceremony was over.
