A lithe black shape sat outside the stone cave within the EclipseClan camp, long tail twitching occasionally. The cat's amner eyes were dark with worry snd confusion, and her ears flicked as though she were trying to catch a sound.
Getting to her slenders paws, the Clan leader leapt up onto the Shaderock in one powerful leap. She sat there, tail curled around her paws, but, unseeable to the cats below, her claws dug into the soft fur and skin of her tail, drawing blood. She called for her clan, then waited. |

Lunardance limped out of her den, body covered in smooth cobwebs and a strange stony paste on her paw. She walked over to her troubled leader and worked out almost imeadiately what was wrong, StarClan had been wroking her of something that would come though they never told her what. She swallowed softly and sat below the lock, eyes locked on Amethyststars. Ravencurse walked slowly out of the Nursery, his eyes wide after watching the strange thing with the flames. He couldn't git rid of the sound of Aspenkits screaming as the paws dragged him away. He swallowed and curled his tail round himself. |

"As some of you know," rasped Amethyststar, sounding weary. "ASpenkit died of a heartattack this evening. We will hold a vigil for him at moonhigh. Those he knew best will mourn him then."
The she-cat sighed, her amber eyes breifly clouding with sorrow, then, she continued. "There is an apprentice out there somewhere who needs a mentor. Until he earn his warrior name, I will mentor Gillpaw."
The she-cat flicked her tail to sho the meeting was over, then leapt down from the Shadetock and curtly ordered Ravencurse to help Fennecmask bring Aspenkit's body out into the clearing. |

Spicetalon stepped delicately out of the den and looked at his sister. "Something's troubling Amethystar," he murmured. Sitting next to Lunarkiss, he looked up at the leader and his own eyes filled with worry.
"Finally!" meowed a little cat. Gillpaw stepped out of the den and touched noses with Amethystar. His eyes filled with happiness.
Razortomb walked into the clearing, watching his leader touch noses with an apprentice. "Congratulations," he purred. He went to his old mentor and meowed, "If there's anything I can do for you mom, just name it." He stod up and walked into the Warrior's den.
Spicetalon watched the cat walk and turned his gaze back to his sister. He lay, in grief, for the kitten. Was Eclipeclan falling to pieces? How can this be happening? he thought.

Amethyststar looked at Lunardance, then padded over and sat beside the medicine cat as the rest of he cats began to disperse. Her dark amber eyes showed distress as she looked at her medicine cat. "Have you had a message from StarClan?" she hissed anxiously. |

Ravencurse's eyes clouded with tears as he turned on Gillpaw, "Is that all you care about, your stupid ceremony, a cat has died you idiot, DIED" she ended with a shriek and ran of into the Nursery to find Fennecmask. The Devon Rex cat was sobbing softly by his kitten, his eyes wide with horror as he remembered its screams. He picked him up gently as Ravencurse came over and began to walk back into camp, carrying the tom with gentle care. Ravencurse continued to move untill both were in the center of the clearing, they lay the kitten down, its motionless body lit up by the moonlight. Suddenly something came into view on the young kittens flank, a large singed 'T' then an 'O' then finally a 'N'. Ravencurse stared over at his sister, they would have to tell them soon. Lunardance nodded and looked at her paw, she gave it a ginger lick before sighing. As her Leader walked over Lunardance batted ehr ears and took a step away from Spicetalon. "StarClan warned me of danger but they didn't tell me what, all I seen was.. cats, ghost cats.. and.. your Father" she murmured, shivering as she remembered the twisted look of venom and psychotic hate on the toms face as he passed her dreams. |

Scrawltale followed and sat beside her kit, eyes blank with greif. She would no respond to any touch or words. She just sat there, motionless, as if she were the one who had died.
Beacankit hissed at Ravencurse as he padded from the nursery: "Don't be mean to Gillpaw," They had been kits together. The runt continued, then lay down beside his mother, sad and exhausted.
Amethyststar looked at the medicine cat. "Me too," she mewed. "THe same thing," she dug her claws into her tail again, which was wet with blood. |

Gillpaw turned on Ravencurse, his fur bristling, "Well excuse me for being happy that Amethystar is my mentor!" he screamed before whipping around and bolting out of camp.

Ravencurse caught him by the tail and dragged the apprentice backwards. "If you want be living tomorrow I suggest you watch your mouth" he hissed, voice to calm to be the slightest bit sane. He let go and whipped round, stalking over to comfort Fennecmask. Lunardance sighed and shook her head, "Something is coming, I just don't know what" she murmured. |

"Of course I'll still be living tomorrow!! You don't scare me! You are just a piece of Foxdung!" screamed Gillpaw. He stood up, his tail bleeding from where Ravencurse's claws caught him. He shook himself and ran out of camp, crying.

Fernpelt passed Gillpaw on her way back into camp. She had decided whilst she was away that she wouldn't get anything done standing around feeling sorry for herself. She had done some hunting on her way back as well and caught a skinny vole and a bony sparrow. She put them on top of the small kill pile and went into the warriors den. Fernpelt lay down in her nest of moss and fell asleep.

Amethyststar got to her paws, passing Ravencurse with a firious glare. "We never give death threats to our clan mates," she hissed, before stalking after Gillpaw. She leapt in front of the grey and white kitten, blocking his pth. She loked down at him with soft amber eyes, then mewed: "IGnore Ravencurse, he's just upset. Do you want to train?" |

Ravencurse growled threateningly at his sister. "Like you care, you see a few pretty pictures and tis all hearts and flowers"he snapped before Lunardance stalked over and cuffed him over the head. Ravencurse grunted and fell over, if it was possible, his eyes would of probably be in little swirls [@_@]; Lunardance grumbled and lifted him back up before sharply muttering about respect. She shrugged her shoulder and walked over to find Gillpaw. The rip on his tail was rather nasty, she would have to treat it. She walked up behind Amethyststar and looked over Gillpaw's tail. "You have a bad wound there m'lad, want me to treat it for you" she said rolling her web plastered shoulder. Stupid kittens. Shaking her head she waited for some answer. |

Gillpaw lay down crying. He heard a cat padding up behind him and stiffened in fear. He heard Amethystar's soft voice and meowed, "Is he gone?" Then, he heard another set of paws. He once gain stiffened but relaxed when he heard Lunardance's voice. "Okay," he meowed, "Can we train afterwards, Amethystar?" he asked, his eyes gleaming.
