Raincatcher
Raincatcher didn't want to open his eyes. He knew if he did, he would see the faces of his siblings looking at him with sorrow in their eyes. But something finally forced his eyes open. Raincatcher blinked in the bright white light. He tried to focus but all he could see was white... and clouds. The tom glanced around, finally focusing. The scene was transforming into one of perfect serenity. It was warm; the sun was out, transforming the clouds into grass, trees, streams as far as the eye could see. Raincatcher stood up and padded forward to a tree. He prodded it with his paw. It was real.
Raincatcher looked around and wondered where he was. Then it dawned on him. He was home.

dreamingcross "Welcome Young on"
His voice came from behind the male, as he sat upon the roots of a tree, watching the former EclipseClan tom. His smile was soft, his tail brushing the roots as he lifted himself up from his sitting position and jumped down, slowly padding towards Raincatcher. "My name is Dreamingcross, a former warrior of EclipseClan. I was bofore your time, but my legacy lives on within another, as will yours with your siblings" He meowed, the stars in his pelt glowing slightly as he came to stand before the dark tom. "On behalf of StarClan, I welcome you to our ranks. I just have one question" Dreamingcross mewed, tail moving back and forth. "You have a choice between being a guardian to a cat that you chose, or to become a warrior, like others in StarClan."

Raincatcher
Raincatcher looked at the tom. 'Hello, Dreamingcross.' He bowed respectfully to the older tom. When he heard the tom's next comment about Starclan, he looked up. 'I-I'm dead?' The shock didn't hit him as hard as he thought. He knew that he wasn't going to make it out of that battle alive, but he was hoping that he could have taken Windystorm with him. Banishing that thought, he considered Dreamingcross' next question. 'I would like to watch over Vinepaw. She seems to be the only one unsure of herself right now.' He murmured the last part. He bowed his head as grief came over him. He had left his family. He only wanted to be with them. It was too soon. He could not be with them when they finally drove Windystorm away. He had died; failed in his attempt to free his siblings. He bowed his head again, as a tear dripped down his face into the soil at his paws.
