Brokenheart looked around. Sje sighed in annoyance. This certainly wasnt what she had expected StarCkan to be like. "Where in the name of StarClan am i?" she said quietly to herself. She smiled slightly when she noticed her green cough had gone and her joints were no longer stiff. But she still didnt know where she was.

Windstripe's ear flickered when he heard the she-cat's voice. "Welcome to the Tribe of Nightmares, Brokenheart. My name is Windstripe. Our leader, Sablestar, is currently busy and he gave me direct orders to send you to your quarters where you shall live for the rest of your time here. Nothing of your past matters. You are part of the Tribe, and the Tribe alone," the grey tabby tom said emotionlessly. The only emphasis was on 'our' in reference to Sablestar, for he was in the highest command. He came to his feet and twitched his tail.
"You will follow." An order, not a statement, came from the Former SerenityClanner.

Brokenheart narrowed her eyes at Windstripe. She had not yet been brainwashed by Sablestar. "What are you taling about? You cats must be confused im meant to be in StarClan, you know, where dead cats go? What am i doing here?" she said, her brown tail flicking from sid eot side as she talked.

Lonelyheart trailed after Windstripe, her eyes clouding. For a short period, the spell had been broken on her. She had bellowed againest Sablestar, but after leaving the Clouds, the spell had somehow strengthened again. Now, she was obedient again. The spell had cast a foggy look in her eyes, but it was a redish fog, instead of her blue eyes. She saw the new she-cat. Hearing her words, she was outraged. She bellowed again, this time on Sablestar's side. Starclan is only a far away dream! Here, in the Tribe of Nightmares, it is better than a dream. Sablestar is a better leader than Amthyeststar or any other leader ever was or ever will be. Here, we are loyal. Here, we are brave. She growled softly. She knew the she-cat would probably not listen to her or Windstripe, unless Sablestar was here. He was the one that convinced her and everyone else that life here was better. And he was right. Bloodkit wandered to the Lightning Drop. Boredom was overcoming him. He noticed a new cat being brought into the Tribe. An elder? Even more worthless than me. Can't wait to see what Heartlessfrost says. He was becoming lower in self-esteem because of what the she-cat said to him. He hated her with all of what was left of his heart.
"Forget about StarClan," he said, stalking up from the shadows, suprising the cats who'd not known he was there. "What she said." Bloodkit still only knew few cats' names in the Tribe other than Sablestar. "So, who's the newcomer?" He settled beside Lonelyheart, his tail wrapping his paws.

"I do not need your assistance," Windstripe said dryly, aiming his spoken barb directly towards Sablestar's bratty lapcat, Bloodkit. It was well-known that the tom respected and directly obeyed only Sablestar. Anyone else was merely crowfood that he walked around.
The grey tabby turned to the elder, eyes kept level. "Though Lonelyheart is correct. This StarClan that you speak of is a fairy tale concocted of elder cats to tell kits about. You're in the Tribe of Nightmares, and you had better believe that you will stay here. StarClan does not exist here. I will only repeat myself once: You will follow..."

Bloodkit narrowed his eyes at Windstripe. He did know him, and hated him. "You still didn't answer me," he mumbled. He hoped and didn't hope at the same time that Windstripe would hear him. He was curious to know the elder's name, but he didn't feel like fighting like he did back at ThunderHead with those two over-grown infants. He himself, far being younger than them, still felt far more mature.

"Well i suppose i will come and meet this Sablestar then" Brokenheart said aimlessly, looking around. She hid the anger bubbling inside her as these cats spoke of no StarClan. They must be brainwashed as she knew there was StarClan, she just knew it. Well, she certainly wasnt going to be brainwashed. She looked again at the she-cat. "Forgive me if i am mistaken but are you not Lonelyheart of EclipseClan?" she asked. She snapped her head around to glare at the young kit. "I am Brokenheart of MoonClan and you should learn to respect your elders kit" she growled, bofre looking back at Windclaw, waiting for them to say they were going.

"Why should I?" Bloodkit sneered, his eyes narrowed, his tail swishing side to side. "It's not like you're the boss of me." He couldn't restrain an amused purr. "I don't go by normal Clan standards really anyway. I never was raised into them since my piece of foxdung of a mother abandoned me in the middle of that wretched forest of yours."
Who did she think she was? Trying to tell him what to do. Sablestar was the only one Bloodkit obeyed. Other cats somewhat mattered, but he'd only listen to another cat if he agreed he should follow their request, which rarely happened. But especially this old fleabag, who'd not even become a full member of the Tribe yet, thought she could tell him what to do? Dispicable.

"Shut up, you piece of ratfood!" Windstripe barked, aiming his paw to cuff the kit across the ears irately. The stupid brat could've at least had the courtesy to respect the only cat Sablestar even hinted of trusting, let alone sent out to do the mighty leader's usual duties. He groused with an eyeroll and turned away to lead Brokenheart to her quarters. "Lonelyheart, get her settled in. The brat and I will go tell Sablestar about the new arrival."

Bloodkit scowled as Windstripe took aim and hit his ear. Thankfully it quickly went away. He narrowed his eyes and smirked. "C'mon fleabag, let's go," he sneered, stalking towards camp.
Though Bloodkit never thought of it this way, it seemed as if he and Windstripe were fighting of the position of Sablestar's right-hand cat.

"Hmm it makes sense then. Your mother dumped you so you werent rasied properly, now i know why youre so rude" she sneered before nodding to Windclaw. She had some resepct for this cat, he seemed to know what he was doing, she wondered if this Tribe had deputies and wondered if he was it. With a sigh she turned to Lonelyheart. "Where am i to go?" the elderly female asked, looking at Lonelyheart wearily.

Lonelyheart was confused for a moment. What clan? Why, she was part of the Tribe. Closing her eyes, the only memories left surfaced. One, Max, her brother. She hadn't thought of him much since joining Esclispeclan several moons ago, but his picture was imprinted weakly in her mind. She quickly pushed away her memories of his accident. Two, Claw. The dreaded rogue that had been her first love. Inside, she growled. She only remember him because of her hatred for him. He was a piece of dung. Three, Esclispeclan. They had provided a better home than the City, that was for sure. But the clan hadn't saved her, had they? Now, she was loyal to the Tribe, and Sablestar. She hated the clan. She hated them all. And fourth, Cormorantstar. He was the one she had loved again. She had changed because of him. And then he had turned away. She hated him most, but he was gone. Dead. Somewhere else. She was glad he wasn't here. Otherwise, she herself would have driven him into a eternity of falling. And the last two memories were the most painful, because they weren't hateful memories. Her kit, Brokenkit. The only one that had survived the kitting. She loved him, still, deep in her heart, she knew. For a moment, she wondered how he was doing. But she pushed those loving thoughts aside. And finally, Razortomb. He had loved her, too. And she had wanted him back. But she couldn't love again. It just wasn't possible for her. She was done with loving toms. But also, in her heart, she had a place for him.
Her heart had turned cold now. She couldn't let these last memories stop her. She awoke from her reverie to answer Brokenheart's question. I was what I was. And now, I am what I am. Hearing Windstripe's command, she whipped around. Don't order me around! But she knew she had to listen to Windstripe. Otherwise, Sablestar wouldn't be happy. Beckoning Brokenheart with her tail, she snapped impatiently. C'mon, we don't have all day. She led the way up a steep, narrow path. A wind blew in Lonelyheart's face. It smelled of crowfood. Yup, just like camp. And shut up, Bloodkit. [/blockquote]
