After leaving Lightning Drop, Lonelyheart had run straight to ThunderHead Clouds. She often did this when her emotions got tangled up like a ball of yarn. She found a small comfort in the swirling clouds that surrounded her body, and floated above her head. Today, though, the place seemed to be empty of clouds. Lonelyheart walked around, trying to focus. But she kept getting distracted by blurred pictures that seemed to form before her eyes, then would vanish when she averted her gaze. She stopped in the middle of a lone bank of clouds, trying to see if the pictures would focus. [/blockquote][/color]

"You again?" Windstripe grunted. Clouds swept over and around his silvery form, cascading idly as the silver tabby stared at Lonelyheart. They hadn't talked since the fiasco against Heartlessfrost that ended in Windstripe staying in the ThunderHeads for centuries on end, or at least it seemed like that. Days always stretched out here. The bored tom turned his dull eyes over to Lonelyheart.
"They mean to fight us, you know..." He was looking down a hole in a nearby cloud, staring murderously at Jay's Hollow. "Sablestar's mumbling has gotten worse." He shrugged nonchalantly, claws extending and flexing back.

The kit hopelessly wandered. He didn't know where he was, but it felt like hell. He wanted to leave this dreaded place of darkness and hatred, death and sorrow. He had no clue how he wound up here, or who these other cats were. He didn't even know who he was. After all, he was given his name by Sablestar, whom was now a memory that had faded with his becoming of free. But being free didn't mean he was safe. He was still here. Here, in the dreadful land.
As he wandered, he noticed two other cats. Perhaps they'd help?
He innocently padded up to them and looked up with pleading yellow eyes. "Excuse me...but where are we? And who are you?"

Lonelyheart squinted her eyes, even though he could see perfectly well. Windstripe stood before her, looking proud in his disheveled state. She faintly remember him leaving camp only some days ago (or was it?), and him never coming back since. She didn't really remember why he left, nor did she care. All her cares seemed to drain away as her conflicting red-to-blue gaze darted from left to right. She even forgot her former quarrel with him, whatever it was about. She managed to say, Hello, Windstripe, before she grew quiet as the images at the edge of her vision grew clearer. She could she a flash of a coal-black pelt, and a stone-gray pelt... Windstripe smiled slightly at Lonelyheart, wondering if Heartlessfrost had gotten to her or something. The silvery tabby turned to the young thing running around and heading towards him.
"You are in the Tribe of Nightmares," Windstripe said huskily. "And I am called Windstripe." He frowned slightly. "What are you doing over here?"

...A white pelt, and a brown-white pelt. They seemed to run right pass her, the cats that danced at the edge of her vision. Lonelyheart began to turn in circles, and began to let out frustrated meows as her attempts to fully see them failed. She could tell that another cat, a small kit in fact, had entered their realm, and was talk with Windstripe. But their voices faded as Lonelyheart stopped spinning when something else caught her eye. A hole was forming in a cloud bank, and she was drawn to it. She became shaky as she walked over to satisfy her curiousity. What Lonelyheart saw confused her. She first saw Jay's Hollow, where several clan cats were. But two cats stood out. Like what we call cameras, the vision zoom in on the first cat. He was a stone-gray cat. He sat among the others. He sat proudly, but his gaze was turned toward the ash tree where the leaders were. Lonelyheart realized something. This was one of the cats she had seen! But why was he significant? She knew she had known him before, but how? Before she could figure it out, the "camera" directed its view away from the stone-colored cat. It then focused on the second cat she had noticed. It was a coal-black tom that sat on the edge of the clearing. Lonelyheart could see anger in his amber eyes. He sat by himself. No one wanted to be with him. He didn't seem very social, either. But, she soon saw him get up and approach another she-cat, younger than himself. His nature had turned from angry to shy. Lonelyheart knew that she knew both of these cats. But how? Her hunger for knowledge about these toms gnawed at her conscience. She looked painfully at the hole in the cloud. Maybe it could tell her. But before she could do anything, the picture changed. The confused kit gazed up at the muscular silver tabby. "Tribe of Nightmares?" His voice was no longer matured and deep, but squeaky and high-pitched as any other kit. "And...you're Windstripe..." The creature'sblood pulsed as the dubbance dropped from his lips. He shuddered, the returned his amber gaze to the other. "Do I have family? Do I have a name? Why am I here?" The black-pelted kit quivered. With every one of his numerous questions, he even more longed for a caretaker, someone to press against when he was afraid...like right now. He desperately hoped that this cat would treat him a bit nicer than some of the others, but the husky voice was frightening.

Windstripe's lip curled in derision. "You'll be better off with Lonelyheart with the questions, kid," the tom growled quietly. His tail twitched towards the mumbling female of former EclipseClan. He lunged from his place upon a thunderhead, ignoring the snarls of the thunder below his pawsteps. He was quickly bored by this. He left to go find what the others were doing.
