I see nothing in your eyes
And the more I see the less I like
Is it over yet?
In my head
Windstripe scowled still at Heartlessfrost and despite what Sablestar had said, the tom kept an never-ending storage bank of spite in his mind. The lean grey tabby tom did not mind the ThunderHead Clouds. In truth, he came here to get away from that simpleton Heartlessfrost and those angst-filled souls Sablestar had snatched from the claws of StarClan like a piece of meat.
I know nothing of your kind
And I won't reveal your evil mind
Is it over yet?
I can't wait
His short hair was waving the humid wind the Clouds cooked up. By the Tribe, he couldn't wait to get his talons on that damned Widowmaker if she ever died. He wondered if she believed in StarClan even though she wasn't a Clan cat. She had come from a monastery, he knew that, and that she believed her ancestors protected her. Isn't that what StarClan was? Windstripe shrugged and clawed the air. He could feel the wind rend in two around his paw and then rejoin.
So sacrifice yourself
And let me have whats left
I know that I can find
The fire in your eyes
I'm going all the way
Get away
Windstripe blinked his grey-green eyes and looked behind him. He wondered if Sablestar had a way for him to go back to the ground, to haunt that blasted Widowmaker until she forced herself to join the Tribe, where he'd torment her even more. Sablestar would like her. That Aurora was almost like him: ominous, destructive, untrusting of surroundings. He mused for a moment. What if Sablestar could persuade the Widowmaker to join the Tribe's side but still be down on the ground?
You take the breath right out of me
You left a hole where my heart should be
You gotta fight just to make it through
Cause I'll be the death of you
This will be all over soon
Pour salt into the open wound
Is it over yet?
Let me in
Windstripe nodded with a faint smile. Maybe she could take care of those kits he's been thinking about since those thoughts keep bombarding me at random times. He slapped himself. What in the world was he doing thinking about allying himself with his killer? The tom sighed and turned around, pacing for a moment.
So sacrifice yourself
And let me have what's left
I know that I can find
The fire in your eyes
I'm going all the way
Get away
You take the breath right out of me
You left a hole where my heart should be

Cause I'll be the death of you
I should talk to Sablestar about it. If that Widowmaker has been receiving dreams from her ancestors, maybe he can insert some too, Windstripe thought meticulously. It wouldn't hurt to try...even if he did hate that blast she-cat.
I'm waiting
I'm hating
Realize
Start hiding
You take the breath right out of me
You left a hole where my heart should be
You gotta fight just to make it through
Cause I'll be the death of you
