x__cinnabarcloud__x Hush now baby, don't you cry Rest your wings, my butterfly Peace will come to you in time And I will sing this lullaby "If I were you, I wouldn't taunt her, child," Cinnabarcloud called out, his wings flapping out gracefully as Lonelyheart aimed a tackle at him. Fire surged from his maw as the battling fireball lunged for her. He let out a snarl and raised his flaming feathery paw, claws extended for a swipe. You never left me "Come, everyone!" she called, fire rising in her throat. The elderly she-cat pulled herself to her paws and nodded to the others with her before the black- and white-furred raced underneath the battling inferno and the purple sparks. She dashed alongside Moonkit, pushing him along with gentle encouraging mews as they continued to run. She meowed to Crystalkit, urging her to run alongside Pecankit as they raced on this tall bridge of ice. They had to make it down to the bowl of the glacier!. AuroraThe rising sun Will always speak your name

l o n e l y heart.
Lonelyheart bared her teeth as Cinnabarcloud spoke. If only someone could cut his tongue out. Anything to make him shut up.
The white femme dodged the fireball Cinnabarcloud sent, but she could feel the heat sing her fur. Lonelyheart frowned at the awesome powers Cinnabarcloud had. Why couldn't she shoot fire out of her mouth, or something equally cool and powerful? She gazed at his firey wings. She could, well, glide, but she couldn't fly. Ugh. If only she had those powers... She would be more powerful than anyone!
While she was distracted by her thoughts of jealousy, he got knocked over by the elder's swipe. She fell over, but recovered in a couple of seconds. She yowled angrily, and she swore she could feel something inside her boiling. No one took advantage of her! Furious, she launched herself at Cinnabarcloud once more, but with more gusto and anger. Her heart pounded. Nearly blocked out every other sound, it did. Her blood raged inside her as fear swallowed every muscle in her body. All around her there was a raging battle, and even if StarClan was with them they had made it clear that this was a battle for the living, not the souls who have passed. Guilt petrified her even more than she already was when two words passed through her mind:
Why me?
Why was she here? She was here because everyone else had the sense to keep her from plain-out killing herself this whole time. She could have drowned in that pool of murky water had Aurora not recued her. She would have been killed by the fox if they hadn't sent her off to look for shelter. Even back then, they had known she was the weak link. She should be the one getting pinned down right now. They were the ones who deserved to live.
She was jolted back to the present as Aurora began running over a long bridge of ice, the Tribe cats ready to give pursuit. Without thinking she followed the black and white she-cat, her jerky strides barely moving her anywhere. After a while, she found herself falling behind the rest of the cats. Every one of her senses told her to run faster, but her body just wouldn't comply. The cold wind burned her eyes and slicked back her fur as, in a desperate burst, she dug her claws into the ice as she propelled herself foreward. It didn't work, of course. The others were at least a few foxlengths ahead of her. She glanced around wildly, panic fluttering in her chest like she had never felt before. She was really going to die. Die without ever being of use. Die without helping the cats who meant the most to her; the cats she knew had a future.
Die. Die. She was going to die a useless cat.
A shuddering breath shook her sides. She didn't know what to do. Her head was spinning.
And, sitting gracefully on her cloud of darkness, Heartlessfrost smiled. This was how they were going to win. They would pick them off one by one. The dawn sky was a warning of the sun peeking over the horizon, but the light wouldn't harm them enough to stop them from accomplishing what she had come here for. She jumped down, landing just behind Crystalkit.
"The weakest." [/blockquote]

Through the gates of fire, I have walked. Known love, Then had it lost.
Rustedcrest
Rustedcrest got up and ran alongside Aurora and the kits. He had to make sure that they got to the bowl of the glacier. 'You can make it! You are strong! The six of you together can make it! Come on now, you'e not that far, now!' He urged them on as he ran behind them now. He had to make sure that no Tribe cats hurt them.
He stopped before the ice bridge. He saw as Heartlessfrost stopped in front of Crystalkit. 'No!' He yowled as the evil she-cat stopped the kit. He watched the scene in horrified expressions. [/blockquote]

x__cinnabarcloud__x Hush now baby, don't you cry Rest your wings, my butterfly Peace will come to you in time And I will sing this lullaby CRASH!
The tom was tackled backward by Lonelyheart and slammed into Heartlessfrost through the ice bridge, effectively blocking her from Crystalkit but hurting himself as well. Cinnabarcloud let out a yowl of anger and pain, fluttering weakly up and landing on the fragile ice. He toppled to the ground in front of Crystalkit, shards of ice stabbing his back and melting from his flames that were hissing and sizzling. With the bridge broken and only Crystalkit on the right side, only she could have the time to go to the bowl. If she waited for the others, they would only allow the Tribe to gain strength and overwhelm both StarClan and them.
"Crystalkit, go~!" he roared. "Go with the spirit of fire! Do as your heart commands! CloudClan is with you! BrightClan is with you! EclipseClan is with you! MoonClan is with you! SerenityClan is with you! STARCLAN IS WITH YOU!"
Sun began to poke thin tridents of light through the clouds of sunrise. Voices seemed to echo behind Cinnabarcloud's.

The ice's earsplitting yowl caught the attention of both parties, the murderer and the victim. And both of them turned and whirled around, Hearlessfrost - obviously the former of the two roles - had venom in her eyes as she spat at the foolish StarClanner. What was he doing? In breaking the bridge he had only made it easier for her to kill the silver tabby she-cat. Ha! Even a StarClan cat could feel pain! And yet, no matter what happened, she felt none! Ha! "The Tribe is superior even to StarClan!" she yowled, malicious pleasure searing in her chest as her call echoed around the empty land.
Crystalkit didn't hear Heartlessfrost. She didn't know how or why; but the murderous she-cat seemed unimportant now that Cinnabarcloud was lying there in front of her. How was he hurt? He was StarClan! Once again her paws felt rooted to the ground, her eyes fixed on the fiery tom. She opened her mouth but no noise came out. His words rang in her ears as his obviously pained but strong voice spoke to her. My heart...? Up until now, she had only noticed her heart as the faintest of things. It thundered when she was scared and it drooped when she was sad, but... She looked to Cinnabarcloud, her blue gaze locking his, then at the bowl in which the glacier sat. What was her heart saying? She swallowed, her head faint but her mind sharp.
With Cinnabarcloud's courage seeming to seep into her, she turned and ran.
Heartlessfrost snarled, confused and angry. The she-cat had no idea of what Crystalkit was doing or what had gone on between her and Cinnabarcloud, but she knew that whatever it was the Tribe would take a toll from it. "Run if you wish! I will always catch you!" Anger fumed within her and she took off after Crystalkit, her paws barely skimming the ice. She was gaining on the silver tabby but Crystalkit scarcely seemed to tire. Was this really the faint she-cat who hadn't had enough breath to even catch up to the rest of her group?
Crystalkit's head was buzzing, her eyes worried, her stomach doing flips. She was almost there; almost at her goal. Just a little farther. Determination feuled each stride as she finally reached the end of the icebridge, willing herself not to look back in case Heartlessfrost was hot on her trail. She knew what she had to do. It was inevitable. She had to believe that.
"Tribe! Ignore the others! Kill her!" Heartlessfrost's frustration was plain in her command as she let her Tribe gather around her. They would team up. They would go after her first. The plan had changed. Heartlessfrost had caught up to Crystalkit, her pawsteps growing stronger but still no match for Hearlessfrost's ghostly glide. Zeroing in on the white-and-black striped she-cat, Heartlessfrost lunged for her throat and missed. So this was how it was going to be.
She landed, her paws barely dimpling the snow as she glared at Crystalkit. She waited as each member of her now fully-assembled Tribe drifted to earth behind her. "You're cornered," she stated darkly, flicking her tail in a sign for her Tribe to advance.
Crystalkit glanced at the paleing sky. Just moment more. Just one small moment for the sun to rise and they would all be gone. And she didn't mean just the Tribe.
In a moment, everything would be right. In a moment, CloudClan would be saved. In a moment, SerenityClan and BrightClan and MoonClan and EclipseClan would be saved. She exhaled deeply. In a moment, she...
And before she could think any more, that moment had passed. The sun was shining now, and as if by a stroke of divine luck there were no clouds to cover it. The time had come. Crystalkit watched with strong, determined eyes as the sun began to shine at just the right angle.
Suddenly Harmony's Fingers was a shining tower of light, and for a mere moment Crystalkit saw it glisten like a million or more diamonds against the blue sky. It was beautiful...
... a beautiful last sight, indeed.
The whole world seemed to shine as the light concentrated itself, burning all the snow in the bowl and whatever pitiful plants had survived beneath it. But it didn't simply burn inanimate things. Oh, no.
Heartlessfrost was being burned. The light was too bright, much, much to bright. She yowled in pain, writhering beneath the heat and horrid pain. It had to stop! She managed to open her eyes and saw that each one of the spectres were being burned, and one by one they disapeared. To her surprise, as soon as a Clanner's soul dissapeared beneath the shafts of yellow that scorched their skin and ultimately killed them; the same cat reappeared with stars shining in their fur - no longer harmed by the light. At last the only one left was the leaderess herself. Heartlessfrost tensed, then in a moment of mock understanding she let go from hanging onto existance, thinking falsely that she too would become invincible to the light.
Ah, how wrong she was. As the Clanners Tribe-tainted souls were swallowed up by the sun's light, they went to their rightful place: StarClan. She did not. Where she went is something that not even StarClan may know.
And as the sun moved past the glacier and things became visible again, no longer drowned out by the peircing glow, there was but one body left in the bowl.
That body was Crystalkit's. The life had left her but instead of her pelt being burned and her whole skeleton virtually charred, she was perfectly preserved. In fact, if someone hadn't known better - because it was obvious to anyone who had witnessed the event that no one could have survived that amount of heat - they might have thought that the she-cat was simply sleeping deeply and not dead.
And though there had been no public annoucement, though no cat but Crystalkit had seen first-hand the destruction of the Tribe, nothing could have been more clear:
The threat was passed. The souls were free.
The Tribe was dead. [/blockquote]

You never left me She stared at the massive phoenix rising and then exploding in a massive beam of light and fire. The elderly white and black she-cat gasped. "Crystalkit!" she hollered. "CRYSTALKIT!" She felt her feet freezing her in place, and the female swallowed a lump in her throat. She backed up and then sprinted forward, landing awkwardly on her stomach with a grunt. The massive fiery tom that had been there earlier had flown towards Crystalkit.
She turned to the other cats. "Hurry!" The motherly she-cat ran toward the glacier with a pathetic mewl. "Crystalkit, please wake up. Please!" She nosed the white fur of the CloudClan in vain, whimpering slightly. Aurora The rising sun Will always speak your name
ooc;// Can anyone who has a StarClanner start posting here? Crystallers is going to get her name, and StarClan will thank the six.
Shade, can we have magic teleporting time where StarClan simply has them wake up back in Jay's Hollow? It took a long while for them to get here and I don't want to RP like they walked ALL THE WAY back.

Moonkit Hey there Delilah,
What's it like in New York City? I'm a thousand miles away But girl, tonight you look so pretty Moonkit nodded at Lovekit's words. He turned tail and dashed full-speed towards the glacier, the cold, translucent tower of salvation and life. His pelt brushed with Selenekit's. He would never let anything happen to her, never ever, ever never. The SerenityClanner whirled around when reaching his destination, his gray-blue eyes, losing fear and gaining the determination to fight, to live. The light hit. It was the most beautiful sight he'd ever seen, perhaps even more beautiful than his beloved Selenekit. It seemed to last forever, the Tribe cats disappearing and returning as shining, graceful, starry figures, StarClanners. Moonkit felt like his heart was being purified, like the wrongdoings he'd committed in life were being washed away. But one thing destroyed the miracle in his eyes. Crystalkit was dead. Perhaps he didn't love her the way he did Selenekit, but she was a friend, a close friend. He'd spent more of his life with these cats than he did at home. Great StarClan, he'd forgotten what home looked like. It wouldn't matter anyway, he'd never seen his new home before, the MoonClan camp. But Crystalkit...no, she couldn't be dead. He flashed a worried glance to the MoonClan she-cat before darting off in the direction of the white fae's limp form. "Crystalkit?!" he yowled, looking to Aurora for a moment before letting his gaze rest once again on the CloudClanner. "No..." No. Crystalkit wasn't his mate, but he was indeed important to him. No...she couldn't be dead... ...she couldn't be dead... [ooc]:// ahmigawsh I'm super sorreh about how long I procrastinated. Throw a few old shoes at me please. x.x[/blockquote]

[[ Once Moonkit had caught up to Selenekit, she continued racing toward the glacier, Cloudcry's wings draped over her sides, protecting her from danger, as well as Moonkit by her side. For some odd reason, she had never felt more safe in her life, and in the most dangerous battles she would ever fight. As you can see, it is shocking. What was even more shocking was when the sun came up over the glacier, showering the snow in sunlight and making it glisten and sparkle so bright that the light pained Selenekit's eyes. But she was too happy, too shocked to worry about the pain. It was the most magnificent sight, seeing every phantom in mid battle with a StarClanner, pretty much melting and vanishing into the brightness, leaving them alone with good spectres. And when the last one disappeared, the world almost seemed less brighter, but it didn't matter. She had shared this moment with the cats she loved and that meant so much to her and that's all that mattered right?
The beautiful dark gray she-cat turned her head to look at her mate but she realized that he wasn't enjoying it as much as her, and she followed his gaze to see a pretty fae, her fur matching the snow perfectly, her body still and unmoving. There was only one cat in their group thats body matched the snow. "Moonkit," she whispered because thats all that would come out. It quivered in a cold gush of wind as Moonkit left her side and bounded up to where Aurora and Crystalkit were. Selenekit took no stalling and followed him immediately until she arrived next to him, standing over the CloudClanner. Tears pricked at the edges of her eyes and she let them go without a second thought. They could see her cry now, it was all over. "She can't be dead. She just can't..." Selenekit whispered tilting her head to stare up at the sky. "IT'S NOT FAIR!" she screeched. Her voice cracked since she had never actually talked that loudly before and then she began to sob, letting her head drop to Moonkit's shoulder limply. The MoonClanner had never lost someone like this before. She hadn't known Crystalkit and she regretted not getting to know her. She regretted not getting to know Pecankit or Mottledkit in her time here. It wasn't fair. Life isn't always fair. And Crystalkit was dead, even though Selenekit didn't want to believe it. So she just cried and cried and cried.

MudbellyThe pale body of Mudbelly lunged off of Mottledkit at Heartlessfrost's order, he sprinted to her side at inhuman speed. He stood by her as they all cornered in on the kit, he bared his blood-stained teeth at her and was ready to lunge at her when a burning shower of light sailed over him. He let out a screech of pain as the blood and fur burned away like in a fire, his skin and bone turned charcoal then disolved into the snow as his blood red irises disappeared with horror the same time as his screeching. Then something strange happened. His burnt body began to form back in the spot it had disolved, his bones perfecly white, his skin cleansed and fit with his fur, and his beautiful pale fur sparkled with StarClan aura. The most amazing part of his transformation was his eyes. Instead of a hate filled, angry blood-red or ice-blue, his glossy orbs were wise, clarified ice-blue irises that were filled with love and understanding. As the light faded a white form deceanded from the sky and stood next to him as they both looked down at the small form of Crystalkit. Cloudcry's white wings were callosal compared to Mudbelly, 'Greetings brother, I see you decided to join the brighter side of the sky' A smile spread across the white male face as he turned his bright blue orbs to his brother. The biege male rolled his perfect eyes as he stared upon the dead creature before him, he shuttered as he remembered he was about to kill the fae. Cloudcry RogueclawA silver mist faded into the form of a feline, her fur was a sparkly silver with midnight black stripes scattered perfectly across her pelt, her paws and chest are a sparkly snowy white. Around her paws and legs the silver mist floated fadingly as she stepped towards a lifeless form on the ground in the snow. She nodded her head toward the StarClanner's that were already there before continuing toward her sons. Her beautiful head shook as she stood at Crystalkit's head and waited for the rest of her clan-mates to join her to bring this poor soul to her new home with them.

l o n e l y heart.
Lonelyheart had successfully attacked Cinnabarcloud, and had pushed him toward Heartlessfrost. But as her leader struck Crystalkit, Cinnabarcloud got in the way. Lonelyheart growled fiercely, and ran forward.
But then, suddenly, the light came.
The sun rose up and bathed Harmony's Fingers in a beautiful light that shined like thousands of gems. Lonelyheart screamed as the light hit her, but the scream cut off abruptly. The sun burned away the bad parts of the white she-cat. Gone was the anger, gone was the hunger for violence. The sun had cleansed her soul.
She and the other Tribe members were covered in starlight from an invisible source. They were part of Starclan now. But the new Lonelyheart watched Heartlessfrost burn in an inferno that sent her off to darker places. And she couldn't help but mutter: Good riddance.
Before she could see anymore, the light engulfed her body, and she dissapeared, off to join Starclan at last. [/blockquote]

pecankit The long-limbed ochre tabby she-cat ran on, the cold wind whipping at her body. She felt almost as though she was gliding along rather than running, her paws pounding on the snow. And now she could feel four other cats beside her. Moonkit of SerenityClan. Mottledkit of EclipseClan. Selenekit of MoonClan. And Aurora, the Widowmaker. But somebody was missing; Crystalkit. There was brief moment, like the last drop of water clinging to the very tip of a leaf. And then the droplet fell, shimmering, and struck the ground. Crystalkit was there, before them, in front of them. Pecankit skidded to a stop, the light of the rising sun reflecting in her sapphire eyes. The Tribe was... Screaming. Burning. Dying. She stared into their agonized faces, her hard heart making her smile in triumpth. The journey was over! The Tribe was finished! The spectre's were returning to StarClan!
But it was far from over. How wrong she was. As the mist cleared, the debris that the Tribe had left behind in their death, she spotted something. Something that made her stomsch churn and her mouth fall open and work as if she was going to be violenly sick. "CRYSTALKIT! NO!" Pecankit raced to the motionless shape, at one with the other four cats. Four. Four cats. There should've been five. There had always been six of them, including Pecankit herself. But now they had been whittled down to five. Whilst the others surged forward, pressing their noses into Crystalkit's perfectly preserved fur, Pecankit hung back. She took a couple of steps back, her face twitching, then screwing itself up. Dry sobs fell from her mouth. She shied away from the others, shied away from the StarClan cats shimmering around her. The Tribe was gone, but so was Crystalkit.
They'd been cheated. spectrumflash Heartlessfrost's cry cracked the air like a whip, and Spectrumflash raised his head as though he had physiclly been stung by them, his scarlet eyes narrowed. Tribe! Ignore the others! Kill her! The ghostly tom whipped around and pelted after Crystalkit, unaware that he was being led to his doom. Spectrumflash felt the rest of the Tribe with him, all as one. Except they weren't. They never had been. They had never been like a clan, or even a Tribe. As thoughts pierced his mind like bullets, thoughts that had previously been blocked by an iron veil around his mind, pain erupted within him. Spectrumflash screamed, and found he was screaming in unison with the rest of the Tribe. He was burning all over. He just wanted it to end, right now, this second. He just wanted to see Scarletpetal, and Glacierstripe again. He wanted to live!
From the mist, the sparkling form of Spectrumflash stepped. He was no longer a ghostly spectre, eyes bloodied. No. He was a cat again. And his eyes had been returned to a pale blue. Spectrumflash joined the cats that had been part of the Tribe with him. He bowed his head. He had done so much wrong. When he lifted his head again, he spotted a familiar face in the crowd of StarClanners opposite them, the StarClanners that had helped the six. Frogpounce! His brother! His eyes shone. He was home. He was dead, but he was home. Home at last.
// Good idea, Aurrie. Oh, and Kuri, beautiful last post with Crystalkit. *wipes away tear*

x__cinnabarcloud__x Hush now baby, don't you cry Rest your wings, my butterfly Peace will come to you in time And I will sing this lullaby "I want to thank you..."
Massive shimmering gold, orange, and red feathers flickered as Cinnabarcloud hovered in mid-air over them. He stared down wordlessly with burgundy eyes.
"Do not have sorrow. Crystalkit is with us." He lifted his wing and gestured to the massive StarClan that had gathered around. His injuries were gone; his full strength was renewed. Cinnabarcloud touched his large nose to the she-cat and drew out her spirit with a gentle smile.
"Crystalkit, you have shown yourself to be a beautiful warrior with your courage today, and we all thank you." The mighty tom bowed his head to her.
"It is from this moment that you are given your warrior name. Crystalkit, you shall know be known as Crystalhaze." Cinnabarcloud smiled. "We welcome you as a warrior of StarClan." The roar of chanting her name filled the bowl of the glacier.
He looked down at the others, his wings stretching out. "We will take you back, all of you, now that we are back to full strength. You are the strongest of them all, possessing strength in body and soul. Have the strength to carry on for her...and for the families that you will return to. You accomplished what we could not. Again, I beseech you to not have sorrow. You will see her again...someday." He turned to Amethyststar and the others.
"Do any of you have anything to say before we go?"

Through the gates of fire, I have walked. Known love, Then had it lost.
Rustedcrest
Rustedcrest watched as Cinnabarcloud rammed into the icebridge. He was stunned. Why would the tom do that? He watched as Heartlessfrost called to the Tribe members, then as the sun rose. He watched in awe as the Tribe was changed into Starclanners. He wondered briefly if Glace would come to Starclan. I don't think she deserves it. He thought to himself.
He looked t Cinnabarcloud. He was speaking to Crystalkit. She was dead? He had not realized that. He ran to her side as Cinnabarcloud dubbed her Crystalhaze. He nudged her. 'Congratulations. You have done well. We welcome you with open arms. You have done well, Crystalhaze.' He mewed to his fellow Starclanner. He stepped back to be beside Cinnabarcloud. 'The kits did it. That's amazing. The Tribe is gone at last.' He mewed to his fellow Clanner. [/blockquote]

ooc* Thanks Shade. <3 Its really long, though, I'm glad everyone had the patiance to read it! xD
When Crystalkit stepped out from the crowd, now doubled in size, it was as though she was a completely different being. Her eyes which had been so often frantic with fear were now at peace, her smile dainty as she looked down at her friends - her family. Each of them was worth living; each of them needed to go on and find cats to love them (it seemed as though Moonkit and Selenekit had already found that in eachother) and be with them. They needed to remember her, and yet, they needed to forget her. It was all hard and she felt a pang in her chest knowing that she had caused them heartbreak, but she felt worthy now. The ordeal was over. She turned her brilliant eyes, now perfect reflections of her name with stars shining in them, on Cinnabarcloud and waved her tail in the air happily as he named her a warrioress. She had never guessed it would happen like this, though...
Crystalhaze. She closed her eyes and remembered how hazy everything had been to her at first, and then how crystal-clear it had been in the end. Oh, it was perfect. Her smile returned, even wider now, and she drifted down to earth and brushed muzzles with each of them. First Aurora, as much of her mentor as she would ever have. Then Mottledkit, the one who had encouraged her more than anyone else. Moonkit and Selenekit were next, she purred at how happy they would be together. Finally, she gazed at Pecankit. Stepping foreward one more step, she did the same gesture as she had to all of them. As she made her way back up to where StarClan waited, she whispered to Cinnabarcloud, "Send me back, too," she flicked her tail at her soulless body. Now that she knew she had died, it wasn't so hard to see herself lying there. [/blockquote]

[ooc]Guys i can't post now, but will tommorow, wait for me please! *dies*
EDIT ;; Sorry this will be uber long as i will need to RP the stuff that happened that i missed. Kuri that last post with Crystalkit was beautiful <3 i cried lol. -----------------------------------
Mottledkit Mottledkit jumped as she felt the presence of another cat beside her. She tensed, ready to hiss and spit if this was a new Tribe member but she gasped as she saw her, the jet black form of Amethyststar. Her Clan leader. She must be in StarClan now. Wordlessly she nodded to what the majestic she-cat said and with a yowl sprang to her feet and shot after the others.
On they ran, towards the glacier, Harmonys Fingers. Her long slender legs pulsed furiously as she streaked along, nearly in front of the rest, her eyes burning with fire. With a squeal she stopped dead as Cinnabarclouds huge frame pounded into the bridge, causing it to splinter everywhere. What would they do now?! She looked behind her, eyes terrified at the others, Pecankit, Moonkit, Selenekit, Aurora. Wait. Crystalkit. Where was she?
The fae gasped as she saw her. Somehow the minute white form of the CloudClanner had got in front of her, in front of all the others. Still she raced on, heading towards the huge ice bowl. She let out a strangled sound as she ehard Heartlessfrost scream to the Tribe to get her, to kill Crystalkit but before anyone could do anything the light hit them.
The sheer blinding light shone its way through Harmonys Fingers, illuminating the sky, illuminating everything. Her amber eyes screwed up as she tried to see through the light and suddenly it was fading again and the hoprrible, ragged forms of the Tribe members were dissappearing, to be replaced by glowing, starry forms. They had done it! They had won!
Liberatingly Mottledkit watched the Tribe mebers reform. She could have wooped with joy as she saw Heartlessfrost lastly dissappearing, never to be seen again. The Tribe members had become StarClanners. Finally they had suceeded. She turned around, ready to share her joy with Pecankit when the heart wrenching yowl filled the icey area around her.
Echoeing the cry of Aurora, Mottledkit sped down the glacier towards her. Crystalkit. They had taken her, stolen her. The Clanners had won, but for a price. Five becomes four. Why had they had to sacrifice dear, sweet Crystalkit? Sobs wracked her body as she grieved for Crystalkits death, only looking up when Cinnabarcloud spoke.
Drying her eyes with a paw, she listened to the elder. What a warmth she felt as she saw Crystalkit glide alongside the other StarClanners, even being granted her warrior name, as she deserved to. Mottledkit chanted her name quietly along with the rest, smiling up at her friend. She brushed her muzzle against the starry one of her friends, tears filling her eyes. "I'll miss you Crystalki....Crystalhaze" she choked, blinking back the tears and smiling to her friend as she moved on. The tortie femme moved to stand next to Pecankit, brushing her pelt with the BrightClanners. She looked back up at Cinnarbarcloud and a wave of excitement pulsed through her. They were going home! Brokenheart The scrawny she-cat hissed defiantly as Heartlessfrost yowled for them to follow Crystalkit, leaping to her feet and springing into action after the other Tribe members. As the cornered the little white female she laughed maliciously along with the rest until it hit her.
Blindingly the light and the heat hit her, burning her, scorching her fur, her inside, her very being. Brokenheart yowled out at the agonysing pain of the blistering heat until finally it stopped. She stared down at her paws. They were still there, slightly glittering. She was part of StarClan! The Tribe had at last left her body.
Her eyes turned back to their old colour, one brown, one green. She recognised some MoonClan faces in the StarClan bunch, Shadowprowler and of course Mudfur. Fianlly, she was free. Swanflight The snowy she-cat rose back up into the sky, hoveriing slightly as she watched the events unfold in front of her. She stayed still and quiet, knowing there was nothing she could do. The bridge smashed to smitherenes. Crystalit running, along by herself. Swanflight looked at the rising sun, looked at Crystalkit. Oh God. It was inevitable. With a barely audible shout she tried to leap down to join the others but then the light hit.
She watched all the Tribe cats transforming, all turning into their good selves. Her eyes shone as she watched them join the ranks of SyarClan but it had come at a price. A terrible price. Crystalkit was dead.
Swanflight stood quietly by Cinnabarcloud as the living cats got to grip with the situation. She felt a form brush her flank and turned her head to smile at Crystalkit as the she-cat joined their ranks. Still quiet, she stood watching as Cinnabarcloud spoke and gave Crystalit her warrior name, chanting along with the rest. As Cinnabarcloud turned around she stepped forwards smiling down at all the cats. "I have not much to say but thank you. You did what we could not and that makes you all incredibly strong and brave. Crystalhaze died for a noble cause, the noblest of causes. She sacrificed herself for the good of the Clans, the good of you all. So make her proud." she finished, bowing her head and stepping back into line with the other StarClanners. [/sub]
