pecankit They were six again. No longer nine; six. Shimo, Koji and Karasu had left them. This was their mission, nothing for the three of them to be worried about. It belonged to the six of them. Mottledkit, the loner, Selenekit, the outsider, Crystalkit, the shy one, Pecankit, the stubborn one, Moonkit, the bravehearted one, and Aurora, the guide. Together they were going to destroy the Tribe of Nightmares, the Tribe that had destroyed so much life back in their home, the Black River Forest. Pecankit padded at the head of the group. The departure of Shimo, Koji and Karasu had had a surprising effect on her. For one usually so reluctant to make an effort in teamwork, she was paying attention, her dark sapphire eyes alert, and her stance ready. They were nearly there. She could feel it.
Suddenly her paws waved in thin air. She halted. A huge, sweeping arc of snow and ice curved down below her paws. And ahead of it... Tall, glistening, like a huge, jagged white claw. A gigantic glacier. Harmony's Fingers. Turning, Pecankit blinked through the snow. "We're here!" she howled, making good use of her loud, plainitive voice. She then jumped. For a moment she whistled through nothingness - then her body struck the smooth snow. She slid, and slid, her eyes shut, her fur blowing back, wailing with the excursion, until finally she came to a halt.
They were here. They were almost done. Soon it would all be over.

You never left me
Footprints crashed down lightly upon the snow and ice as Aurora watched Pecankit rushed ahead of them. She laughed gently, like a grandmother watching over her grandkits. The black and white elder kept going, if stumbling every once in a while, and she tried her best to encourage the others to do the same. However, after ice thorns began spurring her in the paw pads, the she-cat mewed. "Perhaps we should eat and rest." She looked at the others, wincing slightly at the sun beating down on the bright snow. Aurora The rising sun Will always speak your name

[ Omigosh I have to kill off Crystalkit soon ~ ]
Oh, she had never been more scared.
Crystalkit wasn't stupid. She knew the journey was almost over. She could see the tips of Harmony's Fingers in the distance. It wasn't long until they would get there. But if they were supposed to destroy the Tribe, how would they do it? This alone was what haunted the young she-cat. Did every pawestep take them closer to their doom? Or, instead, to their salvation? No one could be sure. The slight silver tabby pressed herself to the snow in an effort to keep from falling right into it. Pecankit and Aurora led the group while she stayed toward the back, but she could still see it as clearly as any other cat:
They were here. Harmony's Fingers, the glacier towered in front of them as Pecankit called their triumphant victory over the journey. Tilting her head all the way up was the only way Crystalkit could see to the top of it, and when she did it took her breath away. The glacier was like a spear of white, glistening ice against the dark backdrop of the sky. Shivering, the she-cat nodded at Aurora's suggestion to rest, gingerly setting herself down away from the claw-like peice of ice and pushing her nose into her fur to stop the glare of sun on endless snow. we're all set to KILL. get the snipers READY. 'cause we're not letting anyone out ALIVE. "Cats of the Tribe of Nightmares! Tonight, our quest for blood will be satisfied! The Widowmaker is here, right below us, waiting for her death! For each Clan in the forest, one cat has come with her - and look, look at our numbers against theirs! Thousands against six! We win!
"I will take with me six cats, as well. Don't question it, mousebrains! In this way, I will kill them all. Each and every one of them... they will die at my paws! The Widowmaker will be dead! The five kits, feared by us so much now that they have grown, dead!
"Coming with me on this divine mission will be the following: Brokenheart, Lonelyheart, Mudbelly, Spectrumflash, Murdercalling and Roguescar! We will defeat the Clans, we will rule over their damned StarClan! The Tribe wins!
"Tonight, the Clan's saviors die!"[/blockquote]

:<Roguescar>:
"They won't know what hit them." The black calico tom sneered as the leader called his name. He was hyped up after the battle and ready to sink his claws in some cat flesh. His mind was poisoned and all he could ever think of was battles, death, and the sweet glory of victory. Who ever was on their land would fail their pitiful quest. If the whole clans couldn't defeat them then what made these chosen think they could!

mudbellyAn icy laugh escaped a tan and white male, his breath scented of blood as well as his pelt, his deep crimson eyes seemed to be filled with hate and anger but at the tips was a cold ice blue, they were full of innocence and fear. The blood-thirsty male bounded to Heartlessfrost's side, his mouth almost watered at the thought of sinking his claws and teeth into flesh. He smiled evily and dared any cat to challenge him for being called, his head filled with blood-stained and nasty thoughts as he readied his well built muscle's for the leap down to the helpless kits and the more helpless Aurora.

Moonkit Strangers by day Lovers by night
Knowing it's so wrong But feeling so right There it was, towering before them. The huge glaciers, known as Harmony's Fingers. They had done it, they were there, it was time to save the Clans. It was time to defeat the Tribe. Moonkit had been at Selenekit's side the whole way. He loved her, and she loved him. They both knew it. But the question of going home had arisen. How could they leave each other? They knew they could never fight in battle against each other. So the SerenityClanner ad made the decision. He would accompany her the MoonClan, and stay there. The prescence of evil hung thickly in the hair. The fur on Moonkit's neck rose with fear and indignation. This was it. Were they walking into their glory? Or their death?[/blockquote]

S E L E N E K I T When they finally arrived, it felt like this huge two-hundred pound weight was taken off Selenekit's broad shoulders. There they stood, at the base of the massive, almost scary glacier. A whole new weight was put on her shoulders only seconds after the first one was lifted. There was a chance that they actually wouldn't be able to make it through this battle. Any one of them could just be killed by their enemy. Shivers went down the black long-haired she-cats spine and she pressed against the silver tabby next to her.
Moonkit had been by her side all the way from Jay's Hollow and here he was now. Somehow deep inside her, she wished she hadn't gotten so close to Moonkit because there was a possibility that he could die or she could die. Her stubborn streak also screamed that he shouldn't have to leave his family for her. Selenekit knew she really wasn't worth all that trouble.
Aurora's suggestion to rest and eat brought the warrior aged kit back to her place below Harmony's Finger and she nodded slowly before laying down lightly on the snow, just encase it collapsed beneath her. Getting the weight off her paws made her smile slightly. It had been so long since she had gotten a good nights sleep and her icy blue eyes were growing wearier and wearier by the day. She would fight though, with all her might to protect the friends she had made and her home.

pecankit Pecankit nodded at Aurora's words. She flopped down in the snow. Her stomach was churning to much for hunger to slink in. The ochre-coloured tabby and white she-cat laid her head on her paws and shut her eyes. She knew she wouldn't sleep - her head was too full of thoughts. Pecankit felt a cold breeze ruffled her pelt, and a scream suddenly pierced the air. The tabby opened her sapphire eyes in shock. Before her was a huge spectral army. The Tribe of Nightmares. But they were not fighting, or even threatening them. They were crying and cringing. Light was shining on them... Light that came from... The glacier. The eye-shattering dawn light at sunrise was shining through the glacier, the white light falling on the Tribe. And they were perishing, dying, their bodies now losing features, becoming shapeless smoke, which sank into the atmosphere.
Pecankit awoke with a start. She said nothing, waiting to see if anybody else had had the dream. The tabby she-cat licked the white splash on her chest a couple of times. She thought about her dream. Then it hit her. That was what they had to do. That was how the Tribe could be destroyed.
All they needed was the dawn's light, and a bit of hope.
And luck.

You never left me Aurora smiled and stumbled over to Selenekit. The black and white she-cat laid down next to the MoonClanner with a weak smile. With the she-cat's age, there was a chance that she could simply die in her sleep from the cold in the Land of Ice. She huddled against the black she-cat, shivering slightly. She was almost bone-thin, no longer muscular and strong.
Her eyes closed almost immediately, the scars knitting together to form a ragged crescent moon shape. The one who had caused that wound would be facing them soon.
Her dreams were vivid, displaying itself in gaudy colors and odd symbolisms. She was running through shallow waters that were the color of the night sky, moon and stars and all. Suddenly, the waters turned cold and she suddenly leapt onto a floating block of ice that held bands of bright reds, oranges, golds, and whites. A helpless meow escaped her as she suddenly found herself surrounded in darkness.
A single white crystal glinted in the sky and suddenly was flung down the ground in front of Aurora's paws. She blinked and stepped back as the rock shimmered and pulsed. At each wave of warm sky-blue light, the blackness began to retreat.
So did Aurora's ability to sleep. She shook herself and sat up. The dream...? What was it about? The Tribe? She turned to Pecankit and noticed that she was awake, flashing the other she-cat a confused look before shaking her head. Aurora The rising sun Will always speak your name

Mottledkit The long legged femme followed the others, her head down. She was freezing, but her dizzy spells were beginning to cease. It felt different here. With this thought she heard Pecankit speak and looked up. Indded they were here. The view they had was breathtaking, the ice harsh white against the inky black sky. Harmony's Fingers. She followed Pecankit and Aurora, who were at the head of the group with Crystalkit, Selenekit and Moonkit close behind. She listened to Aurora and nodded at her words without speaking, settling down to sleep beside Pecankit. The snow enveloped her body like a cold blanket, though her tortoiseshell pelt still made her stick out from its white existence. Mottledkit dozed off, images of fighting and the sound of yowls and screaming in her head before she woke up with a jolt. Pecankit had jumped next to her. She turned her amber eyes to her friend, confused. "Are you alright?" she whispered, not wanting to wake the others. pecankit Pecankit took a few deep breaths, each sucking in her sides so that her ribs poked out beneath the fur, like jutting twigs. The ochre-coloured tabby rested her head on her socked paws, trying to digest the disturbing dreams. It was then that she noticed a pair of eyes looking back at her. Aurora was awake, too. Pecankit flashed the black and white cat a resoectful look. So much had changed between the two of them. Pecankit had started the journey as a loud, rude, brash young cat who despised Aurora and everything she stood for. Yes, maybe she was still stubborn. Still defiant. Still bold. But she no longer hated Aurora. The loner had supported her, cared for her, during this journey. And Pecankit was ashamed of her earlier feelings towards her mentor.
Pecankit jumped as Mottledkit's voice sounded beside her. She turned to face her tortoiseshell friend. "Well, I'm..." she hesitated, then continued, loud enough that Aurora would be able to hear her too. " had a dream. I saw the Tribe. But they wern't threatening us, or killing, or anything like that. They were... Screaming. And the sun was rising, and all the light was shining through that glacier..." She gestured at the Harmony's Fingers in the distance. "And then the Tribe sort of.. Dissolved." Pecankit looked at her white paws. "It was probably nothing. I probably just ate too much, or..." She realised how feeble that excuse sounded in this prey-starved area.

pecankit As Pecankit stared at Aurora and Mottledkit, the sun peeped it's blazing head over the horizon. She had forgotten the brightness of the BrightClan sun. This watery sunlight was what she was used to now. The light brown tabby she-cat nodded at Aurora's words. They had shared dreams before, this wasn't the first time. The young she-cat looked at her white paws, her sapphire eyes clouding with thoughts. We need to challenge them... Pecankit shut her eyes tight, thinking of all the damage the Tribe of Nightmares had certainly caused back home. The she-cat raised her head suddenly, her ears pricking upright. Hazelkit, or Mousekit, Ryekit or Grainkit, Leopardflight or Runespell... Any one of them could be dead because of that band of ghosts. "Then challenge them we will," she mewed grimly. The tabby rose, and without another word, she was gone.
Pecankit ran, her paws a blur beneath her body, her head thrust forward, her blue eyes shining with determination. They would do this, they would end this disaster. This was what they had been chosen to do. Her paws skidded in the snow as she stopped, sending a spray of white powder into the air. Halting at the foot of the huge glacier, Pecankit swallowed nervously. She could do this. They could do this. The cat turned, dwarfed by the glacier, and threw back her head. "Come on, then, come on! Come and get us, come and kill us like you've killed everyone else! We're not afraid! You're just a bunch of pathetic dead cats!" The roar reverberated around the icy lands, making it sound as though one thousand Pecankit's had yelled all at the same time.
It was time.

Mottledkit Mottledkit raised her head in alarm as Pecankit suddenly took off along the snow. "Wait!" she yelled after her friend, galloping off after her, long mottled legs stretching as she ran to reach her tabby friend. She said nothing as she drew up alongside her and then nothing again as Pecankit yelled, the words seeming to crash againt everything around them. Mottledkit drew herself up to her full height, stance bold and eyes hard. She would fight to the death if she had to, to save her family, EclipseClan, all the Clans. It had to be done. [/sub]

You never left me "Pecankit!"
Aurora stumbled to her paws and trudged after the BrightClan she-cat painfully, ice stabbing her pads and causing blood to blossom into the snow and ice. She ignored it after wincing slightly and kept on, occasionally sliding. However, she ended up by Pecankit's side.
"What are...you...doing? Challenge them now?" She could barely believe the she-cat was doing this, but then again...this was Pecankit we were talking about. Aurora swallowed a lump in her throat and hesitantly nodded for a moment before it turned into an affirmative jerk of the head.
"Alright...I'm with you, Pecankit." Aurora The rising sun Will always speak your name

Crystalkit was shaking with cold by the time Pecankit and Aurora woke from their brief sleeps. Somehow, though, it wasn't the snow or the howling wind that made her shiver. She was terrified. The howling breeze blocked Pecankit's quiet words from her ears, but when the she-cat began yowling challenges to the sky Crystalkit felt a horrible chill reach it's enticing fingers at her heart. No... She wasn't ready. How would she be of help, anyway? She'd just run off somewhere like a frightened kitten! Just like her name! Crystalkit! Crystalkit! "Pecankit, don't --!"
But it was too late.
"Go."
One word... one command, echoed throughout both worlds: that of the living and that of the dead. Her voice was as icy as the glacier, her claws as sharp as knives. And then, as if on a cloud of wavering darkness, she decended like a queen coming down to the gallows in order to watch the excecution. Hah! Look how skinny and underfed they were! Her fur, unlike that of her minions, gleamed with an unreal light that seemed almost venemous. Her orange-flared face was held high as she lead her six cats down. The first battle was just practice. Nothing more. This would be the real victory. After this, there would be no limits to the Tribe's power! StarClan would be helpless! Reaching the snow-covered ground finally, Heartlessfrost looked at each of the chosen in turn. Fools! How could these outcasts save the Clans? A love-struck fool, a lonely kit, a rulebreaker, a weak-bodied tortie, a trembling tabby and one mouse-brained she-cat to attempt to lead them. Heartlessfrost sat back, waiting for her Tribe to pin down each cat so that she could finish them. [/blockquote]

Selenekit Sleep did not consume Selenekit like the rest of them did. She was so tired, but too antsy to be able to lie still. She probably kept Moonkit up too, but Aurora and Pecankit seemed to be disturbed by a dream. When Selenekit was able to get a little bit of shut eye, she dreamed too, but it was blurry and hard to concentrate on. And she kept waking up, so that made her dream hard to remember in the long run. When everyone woke and the two explained their dreams, Selenekit wondered if she had been able to sleep, she would've seen the dream too. She wanted to be important like Pecankit was, but who cared? The mission would be over soon enough.
Still lying down, listening to the conversation about a fox-length away from her, she realized that Pecankit was up and running toward Harmony's Finger. The glint in her eye told Selenekit that it was time to challenge them. But as Crystalkit, Mottledkit, and Aurora did, she was about to protest. But it was all to late. Selenekit quickly got to her feet and began running after the others, ignoring the cold wind or the icy floor. It was almost over. Just one more fight and they could go home. Moonkit would be with her and they could live in peace. But first they had to survive this. As Heartlessfrost jumped from the sky, landing not far away from them, she sent a small prayer to StarClan and nodded to Aurora and Pecankit.
Selenekit was with them too, even if it meant dying to save them.

MudbellyAt Heartlessfrost's first sign of speaking, the word that he had been waiting for, the ragdoll male was sailing down from the skies after his leader. His crimson coloured eyes glowed with hate and the need to kill, the male landed gracefully on his off-white paws, an icy smile spread across the males beige face as she stared at the tri-coloured EclipseClanner. The male dove at the chosen one with out-stretched blood stained claws, he never missed his target, 'Time to die' The whisper echoed like ice and blood as his ice-blue corners turned crimson red, he was now fully under Heartlessfrost's spell.

Moonkit Hey there Delilah,
What's it like in New York City? I'm a thousand miles away But girl, tonight you look so pretty It all happened so slowly to Moonkit. They began to move towards the shelter, drifting into slumber. Of course, the SerenityClanner stayed awake and watched over his love from habit. He wouldn't let anything happen to her or his friends. Well, he didn't know them all that well, but he wouldn't exactly be happy if they were to fall to the bloody claws of the Tribe. All night, he stood there. He may have dozed off once or twice, only to wake up a few minutes later and shake himself a bit. Finally, Aurora and Pecankit had awoken. Faster than Moonkit could keep up with, they explained their dreams and were out the door. His ears swivelled and he detected Pecankit's voice. 'Come and kill us like you've killed everyone else! We're not afraid!; Wait...she was challenging the Tribe! His heart nearly leapt out of his chest, pounding hard as he dashed away with the rest. No, this couldn't be happening. He was still a little kitten, curled up by his mother's side, having a horrible nightmare. But after nipping himself a few times, he realized he wasn't asleep. He was awake, living the nightmare. The cold, deathly voice of the leading Tribe cat struck fear into his soul. This was it...this could be the end. Of him. Of Selenekit. Of his family. Of the world.[/blockquote]

pecankit Pecankit stared up at the white-swirled sky, her sapphire eyes narrowed. Her chest heaved with excursion, and her mouth was slightly open in a half-snarl, showing her sharp white teeth. She had certainly grown up from that chubby, pernickity kit. The ochre-coloured tabby watched, her face set and determined, as the spectres sailed out of the sky like some monstrous sea-creature, all in one glistening line. Fear bubbled in her stomach, but she refused to let it show on her face. Pecankit heard the one command, one word, one syllable. But it sent shivers down her spine. She glared at the ghostly she-cat which had spoken, keeping her eyes determinedly furious. Pecankit turned, distracted, as she heard a second voice, this one male, but dripping with no less malice than the first. It was a spectre, his scarlet eyes gleaming with hatred and eagerness. And he was advancing on Mottledkit - her best friend.
"Don't touch her!" she yowled at the ghost. She launched herself at the misty cat, but sailed straight through him. Her blue eyes widened. Was this possible? Pecankit raised her head, looking up at the sky. It was grey with morning light, but the sun was nowhere to be seen. She had called too early. They were doomed.
And it was all her fault. spectrumflash He could see them. All of them, all six of them. His face curled into a nasty sneer. He couldn't understand why Heartlessfrost had been so worried about them. They were nothing. Just a pathetic band of peasents attempting to thwart them. Spectrumflash's blood-coloured eyes narrowed as he looked at each one in turn. The first, that scrawny black and white cat who was leading them. She was an ancient, weak old bag of bones. It wouldn't take much to finish her off. Then there was a thin-legged tortoiseshell, a fiery-eyed tabby, a quivering white, and two others who were sticking close to eachother, faces anxious. Spectrumflash recognized the look in their eyes. Love. It was that particular emotion that infuriated him the most. He didn't know why. The former EclipseClanner threw back his vhead and let out an echoing yowl at Heartlessfrost's command. It was time.
Spectrumflash sailed down to earth with his comrades, his face twisted. The spectre landed on all four paws, which still did not quite touch the snow. He rounded on Moonkit and Selenekit. "Oh, look at the little lovebirds," he sneered, his teeth bared.

Mottledkit The multi-coloured female gazed at the sky as the chillng whisper descended from the heavens. Her amber eyes searched out the voice, its gaze landing on the solid form. A cat, female, she could tell, with blood red eyes. Strange, she thought, red eyes were incredibly rare and even then they were only seen in albinos. Which the cat wasnt. As she suddenly saw all the cats descned from the clouds the realisation that they all had red eyes hit her, and this chilled her to the bone. But her gaze didnt change, nor did her stance.
That was until she heard the chilling voice to the side of her. She whipped round and couldnt help her eyes widening in terror as she saw those blood red eyes comign towards her, a tom cat speeding towards her. She gasped as Pecankit jumped at the cat, and then sailed right through it. She shrank back, bracing herself for the blow. And then it hit her, she felt her head snap back as she flew backwards through the air, with the male on top of her. His breath was hot yet icy cold, his claws sharp as they dug into her coat. She whimpered quietly, before beginning to thrash wildly underneath the cat. "Get off of me! Leave me alone!" she cried, shutting her own amber orbs tight so she didnt have to stare into the bloodthirsty depths of her attackers blood red orbs. Brokenheart The scrawny mottled brown she-cat leapt dwon from the heavens, her blood red eyes bright with longing. The battle with the Clans seemed so long ago and she longed to kill, to cause pain again. She cackled as she descended, her eyes slready set on a cat. She wouldnt attack it, not yet, but she looked terrified. The little white female, stood alone. She watched the tabby try to attack Mudbelly as the tom descended on the tortoiseshell and laughed at her. "Your claws are useless here she-cat. You cannot harm us. You cannot win" she said, and threw back her head in laughter, blood red eyes bright and glimmering as she mocked the cats in front of her. [/sub]

l o n e l y h e a r t.
At Heartlessfrost's word, Lonelyheart broke from the clouds and hurled down. She plummeted gracefully, gliding on imaginary wings. Adrenline filled her ghostly body, and the beautiful she-cat swore she could hear a pumping in her ears.
She stepped down lightly on the thick snow, not making a sound. She slinked around, to stand next to her leader. She had the erge to cackle, but that was not Lonelyheart's way. She stood silently, her gaze mocking as she inspected the young cats. They were all pitiful. A devilish smile escaped onto her lips, and she snorted. This would be easy. Those scrawny good-for-nothings would get killed!
She shrugged her white shoulders and lowered into a crounch. She long to gorge her sharp claws through flesh and blood once more. Her voice was smooth, with an icy edge when she said, So, who's dying first? [/blockquote]
