Clearpool The night was still, the moon full. No birds sang this late on in the day, but the breeze gently rustled the fallen leaves on the ground, scaterring those that were still on the trees. There was a tension in the air, like the feeling that it was about to rain. But the night was clear, no clouds surrounding the full, glowing moon. But you could have cut through the air with a knife.
The snowy white she-cat padded on determindly at the head of her Clan. She glanced backwards, seeing the ginger and white, black and ginger forms of Runningcloud and Flarewind flanking her, along with the other assorted Clan members. Somehow, Clearpool had managed to get it together after the dreadful news, the shocking ceremony and then to top it all of, the fiasco with Timbersmoke and Cyanfeather, to pick the cats that would go to the Gathering. She was really not looking foward to having to speak with MoonClan about the Cyanfeather situation, especially as it was her first ever Gathering as leader.
Sighing, she halted at the top of the hill, her Clan stopping behind her. They were first here, thank StarClan. At least that meant no tension for the moment. With a flick of her tail, SerenityClan bounded down the hill in one swift movement. Clearpool slowed to a jog as she neared the huge ash tree. She was so used to sitting at the base of it. Shaking, she numbly leapt onto the tree, sitting on the branch that Jasminestar used to occupy. She gave a comforting smile to Flarewind at the base of the tree and then looked up to survery her Clan. She was terrified.
Looking to the entrances to Jays Hollow, she thought she heard a noise. Which Clan would be next to arrive? [/sub][/blockquote]

Seven kings will ride on the wind up towards the mountains high
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] Ghostlystar Would you compare it to a stampede? Well, not of horse or buffalo? A stampede of cats. Then again, they're not trampling each other in their state of asphyxiated panic. A herd, perhaps, running as one? No, no, that's only reserved for horses or cows. This...was a Clan. BrightClan, to be specific.
At their head ran a lithe black tom, flanked by a beigy tom, a white femme, and a golden femme along with several other cats behind them. Thunderously, they rumbled into Jay's Hollow. Ghostlystar took note of Clearpool's position and dipped his head to her as the tom took his usual place, winding his way up the trees.
"Prey runnin' well, Clearpool? Or are ya now Clearstar?" he called And the only sound that will break the air is the warrior's bitter cry
Runningcloud // The aging she-cat clattered down to where she usually sat, eyes flickering up at Ghostlystar as he arrived and wound his way up the tree. She cleared her throat and looked over at the rest of the Clan, sighing a bit. "Gather around, everyone," she called. To the ones who had never been to a Gathering, she said, "You can fraternize with the other Clans but make sure you're back here by the time the Meeting starts, hear?" We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days... Through the fire and the flames we carry on! [/blockquote] ~ ° [[ Kimi no chikara ni naritainda ]] ° ~ Pansyblossom ° [[ I want to become your strength ]]° The lithe ginger femme smiled when BrightClan stormed in with their usual gusto. "How's the prey running?" she echoed Ghostlystar's greeting by going over there and talking to the large tom that was apparently the new deputy--Grainpelt, she believed his name was. She'd see him at other Gatherings.

[[ For such a chubby apprentice, Terrapinpaw was pretty graceful, more graceful then the rest of the Clan, clamoring down the hill. She stayed close to Flarewind or Clearpool most of the way but as they poured into the clearing, Clearpool went to her station and Flarewind disappeared. He's probably just mingling... As I should do. Personally, Terrapinpaw was looking forward to this gathering. She wanted to make a friend outside of the Clan very badly since the only friend she had was Flarewind, and possibly Aloepaw, if she could consider him a friend. She did wish he had come though because now she was all alone, standing in the center of the clearing and waiting for someone to at least talk to her or just notice that she existed.

Lunarmyth && The elderly she-cat had seen and been to so many Gatherings that this was just another one to add to her tally. The frail femme yawned and promptly returned to her nap once she stopped galloping after the rest of the pack, nestling down in some of the more gnarly roots of the ash tree. The silver she-cat curled her patchy broken-in-the-past tail around her paws, ignoring the scuffles around her. xx____Schrei so laut du kannst!

Stormstar

Wondering where this life will lead
Answering many desperate a plea In any weather or terrain I'll strive and fight to ease all pain A flick of his tail signalled to his Clan that it was time to enter the hollow. Stormstar plunged in, his cats to be following. The tom weaved his way through the small crowd. BrightClan and SerenityClan were already here. Good, he thought. We're not last. He clawed his way up the trunk of the ash and placing himself on his usual branch. "Greetings, Ghostlystar and Clearpool." The CloudClanner figured that Jasminestar was simply still on her quest.[/blockquote] Skunkpaw
Come on over, down to the corner My sisters and my brothers of every different color Can't you feel that sunshine? Telling you to hold tight, things will be alright Skunkpaw was extremely excited. This was his first Gathering! He felt pride well up in his chest, and bounced about on the way there. He had been one of the last in his Clan to filter into the hollow, as he was busy daydreaming about his warriorhood. Finally, he plunged in behind them. "I'm an apprentice now!" he exclaimed to no one in particular, a gleeful grin plastered on his face.[/blockquote] Heronsong
I've found a reason to show A side of me you didn't know A reason for all that I do
And the reason is you
A pretty silver she-cat dropped into the clearing with her Clanmates. She was just another BrightClanner, having been given the privelege to attend the Gathering that was taking place. She smiled slightly, noticing that they were far from last. Her turquoise eyes flickered about, trying to see if there were any cats that she could talk to.
[/blockquote] Duskheart
What I like about you Ya hold me tight Oh, tell me I'm the only one Wanna come over tonight Duskheart was sidled up by Petalrain, his beloved, his everything. He would never regret becoming a part of the Clan. He had shed his loner name, Night Tree, to accept the dubbance of a true warrior. The tom dashed into the clearing after being given the signal. They appeared to be first to arrive. It was a wondrous and amazing place to him, as this was Duskheart's first Gathering. He watched as CloudClan and BrightClan arrived, waiting patiently for the other Clans.[/blockquote]

FIRESTAR!!
Firestar's form cut through the trees until she reached Jay's Hollow. She flicked her tail to tell her clan to spread, and leaped into the tree. She came neatly to spot beside Stormstar. "Ghostlystar, Stormstar, Clearpool." She greeted the others. "Have you heard from Jasminestar?" She asked Clearpool, tippig her head to one side as she asked.
Snowflake
Snowflake padded quietly into the Jay's Hollow, and made her way to sit down alone, fretting about her kits. Would they be alright alone? She knew the other queens would take care of them, but she was still nervous. It was her first gathering as a queen, and she was still nervous.
Icelily
Icelily's bones creaked as she padded slowly along. She laughed,a low wheezing sound, and commented, "I'm getting too old for this." She continued on, and stopped beside a cat. She dipped her head to the other cat and settled down. Her son, Cloakedclaw, followed her with a nervous look on his face. "Are you okay, Mom?" He asked her. She nodded her head. "Dont' fret abuot me, son, I'm fine. She grinned at him before turning her head to the leaders. Cloakedclawlokoed at her with concerned eyes, and meowed, "If you need anything, send someone for me." He told her before padding away.

grainpelt.
[/blockquote] Following closely behind Ghostlystar, Grainpelt was both excited and worried. What would the Clans think of Lastfalling's death? What would they think of him? Not that it mattered, but... it did matter. He was a deputy now, and maybe one day even leader. It was a new thing for him but he didn't mind. Grainpelt noticed with a laugh that BrightClan was - as always - the loudest and chattiest group, despite having the same amount of cats as the other Clans.
The tom sat himself near the rock where the leaders were gathering, looking around. A voice he didn't recognize chimed behind him and he turned, his eyes meeting those of a SerenityClan she-cat. "Good," he meowed, grooming his ear for a moment as he remembered her name; Pansyblossom, one of the three sisters who had lost their brother and were, interestingly enough, all named after flowers. "Is everything good in SerenityClan? Jasminestar is...?" he approached the subject of their leader carefully, but of course he was just as curious as anyone to know what had happened to the tortie.
lavenderlace. The ginger fae rarely strayed from Runningcloud, her amber eyes cautious as she looked around for the other medicine cats. How much more would change, she wondered? She relaxed, though, as she found her usual spot in the clearing, watching the bustle around her. Oh. It was so normal that she could almost see Jasminestar, taking her place on the rock, getting ready to call out the news...
She swallowed, not daring to think of what had happened to her. Where were the other medicine cats? She hadn't seen Prophecyteller or Cometpaw anywhere.[/blockquote]

p e t a l rain.
Petalrain walked in step with her mate as Serenityclan flowed into Jay's Hollow. They were the first clan, but Brightclan, Moonclan, and Cloudclan quickly came through the dark woods and joined them. Duskheart seemed fairly happy, but the white femme could not lift her spirits. After hearing about Jasminestar being ambushed by rogues, Petalrain had fallen into a mental rut. She smiled a little at her lover, but she couldn't do much else. She clung to his side, feeling like a fearful apprentice at their first gathering. Only instead of the fear, it was sadness.
She looked around at the various Clan cats. She felt too tired to talk, but she was naturally social, and couldn't help take a look around to see who she could maybe talk to. p e a r l sheen.
Pearlsheen trotted after Ghostlystar quickly. She couldn't help but feel a little excited. She hadn't been to a Gathering in a long time. And she had the feeling that some big news was going to surface tonight.
When they arrived, Pearlsheen lost herself in the crowd and padded around mindlessly. Maybe she could talk to someone. She looked around at the different faces, but none stuck out. She stopped and began to groom her sparkling pearl-like fur out of boredom. She could feel her energy draining already.[/blockquote]

~ ° [[ Kimi no chikara ni naritainda ]] ° ~ Pansyblossom ° [[ I want to become your strength ]]° Pansyblossom's expression became grim. "A loner came today and said that she and Mysticsight were slain on their sacred journey. Rogues set on them." She spat crassly at the ground and then cleared her throat, realizing that she had just pulled a Runningcloud in front of Grainpelt. "Erhem...pardon me." She laughed sheepishly, flicking her tail side to side. Instead, she deflected the topic away from her Clan. "Looks like the curse of the deputy has struck again," she commented wryly, eyeing Grainpelt and then the new she-cat up near Stormstar who she didn't recognize. It certainly wasn't the hulking Scissorteeth the CloudClan leader named last moon nor the Night-whatever-her-name-was the moon before. Pansyblossom laughed out loud. "I wouldn't be surprised if Fernpelt came in with a new deputy, as I see that a tom is now in for Wovenknot in MoonClan." She shook her head.

The multi-colored tom dubbed Flarewind didn't want to even speak to anyone. Jasminestar's death surely had taken its toll on the newly appointed deputy. Positioning himself beneath the tree, facing the other Clans, his ears flicked. Golden-green eyes looked around, noting a few newer cats he hadn't seen in previous moons. Ah, so other Clans were dealing with hardships in their upper ranks. Flicking his tail, he wrapped it around his paws neatly, his eyes having caught the smile that Clearpool sent him. Was she nervous about telling them all what happened?
The deputy of SerenityClan flicked his ears forward, eyes sweeping to his Clanmates. It wasn't the best time to go to a Gathering, but they all had to do it. With or without Jasminestar. What was he saying? Jasminestar was still with them. Golden-green eyes drifted up to the sky, and a soft smile was placed across his muzzle. Of course, she was probably watching the Gathering, seeing how her Clan was faring without her. . flarewind ! venompaw Following after Ghostlystar, the dappled she-cat apprentice smiled widely. Her first Gathering. She would make this one last. Acid-green eyes looked around the clearing, taking in all the sights of the other cats. Some didn't look to happy to be here. Flicking her thin tail behind her, she walked toward a she-cat that looked about as old as her or so. Terrapinpaw.
Ah, a SerenityClan apprentice. Someone else to talk to for a change. The dappled she-cat sat herself down next to Terrapinpaw, green eyes watching her, wondering. What was up with these SerenityClan cats? Flicking her ears, and half-shrugging to herself, she continued to speak. She wasn't one to honestly care about what was going on in other Clans. She was more enthralled with her own progress in life. I am Venompaw of BrightClan. Who might you be?[/blockquote]

Grainpelt frowned. Jasminestar had always been a fair leader, it was a great loss to all the Clans that she had died. "Yes," he agreed solemnly, glancing around. All of the Clans - especially CloudClan - seemed to have trouple holding down a permenant deputy position. Grainpelt remembered, when he was a kit, how Thrushstar and Wrenstar both held the post of leader for a moon or so before disapearing. "Lastfalling was killed by rogues, too. Those fox-hearted crowfood-eaters! It seems as if they want to pick us off one by one." he let his lip curl up in to a snarl before flicking his tail in the direction of Wovenknot's replacement. "That's a surprise, though. Wovenknot seemed ready to lead MoonClan." he had enough intrest to mention it, but he didn't bother going up to the tom to ask for the full story. Did it really matter? Deputies would come and go. He had to accept that.
Grainpelt had lived through three leaders. He just hoped he'd live for a fourth, too. [/blockquote]

cherrysmoke A dark red shape ran amongst the other SerenityClan cats, beside a white tom. It was Cherrysmoke, running alongside her mate, Blizzardhawk. The she-cat kept glancing over her shoulder, looking uncharacteristically nervous. She didn't want to leave her kits. She had prayed she wouldn't be chosen for this Gathering, but she had been. And now they were back at the camp, with some other queen. Autumnkit will look after Deerkit, and I'm sure Larchkit won't annoy Adderkit... I did tell him... Cherrysmoke looked at her mate as his tail brushed her flank. She brushed his back gratefully. Jay's Hollow opened out below them. There was no other cat's there. They were the first to arrive. Cherrysmoke padded down into the clearing and sat down beside Blizzardhawk, fretting about her kits. runespell A lean brown tabby tom ran near the front of the BrightClan group, his eyes fixed on his son, Grainpelt, running up ahead. He smiled. He was so proud of the golden brown tabby. But somehow he had always known Grainpelt was destined for better things. He had always been the most responsible of Runespell's kits. He had always kept the girls in line... Runespell managed not to let his thoughts drift onto Pecankit. She is dead, Runespell. Get over it. She died moons ago. Can't you get that into your thick skull? He wished that Leopardflight was here. Runespell was glad that Leafpaw had not been chosen to attend. He had had about enough of the tortoiseshell's awkward questions. Runespell padded into the clearing, then padded up to his sister, Birdfeather. "Enjoying yourself?" he mewed, glancing around. It seemed that only SerenityClan and BrightClan had arrived, so far. irispaw She had begged. She had pleaded. She had cried in secret, cried so many tears that her face still looked peaky. But she still had to attend the Gathering. The white cat padded beside her mentor, Tornadocloud, dwarfed by the strong warriors around her. Her whole body trembled with terror. She couldn't hide her crimson eyes whilst running, and she felt horribly self-conscious. What would the other clans think of her? Irispaw decided to pad into the surrounding ferns and hide. As BrightClan slipped into the clearing, the snowy apprentice darted into the surrounding undergrowth. There she crouched guiltily, her eyes round. tawnysky The brown and white patched she-cat skulked at the tail of the CloudClan crowd, amongst the elders and queens. She kept her head down, her green eyes numbly fixed ahead. Excitement tingled in her paws, but not for simply attending the Gathering. She had no interest in any Clan news. But Eaglecry might be there! Tawnysky practically skipped into the Hollow, glancing qildly from side to side. She could see plenty of other cats, but not Eaglecry. But that was because MoonClan had not arrived yet. The she-cat sat down in a solitary spot, her green eyes fixed on the entrance MoonClan used to the Hollow. He would be here, she knew it. dragonflydance Dragonflydance padded at the head of the CloudClan group, her head raised, but her sky blue eyes were distracted. She hadn't been able to find Cometpaw. Where was her apprentice? She probably just lost track of time... The willowy white she-cat shook away thoughts of her missing apprentice, but still troubling thoughts irritated her brain. Astralhaze, that new kit... Oleandergaze's death... CloudClan were having a terrible autumn so far. Dragonflydance padded calmly into the Hollow, approaching the medicine cat's. She touched her nose to Runningcloud's, smiling at Lavenderlace. She then flicked her tail at Cloudedsky and Amberpool. "I hope you are all well...?" avenstail The young silver tabby couldn't help skipping a little as he trotted beside the other warriors. The last Gathering he had attended had been his first, as a tiny apprentice of six moons. Avenstail couldn't help puffing out his chest with pride. He was a warrior now. He couldn't wait to see if Maplepool would be at the Gathering. Avenstail padded happily into the clearing, tasting the air. It looked like every clan had arrived except EclipseClan. Apprehension filled him. Had something happened to EclipseClan...? Was Maplepool okay...? He blinked nervously, his stomach bubbling with fear. pearlblade Pearlblade padded shakily through the crowd, her legs shivering and her frail body quailing. The elderly she-cat wheezed, her chest uncomfortable. Pearlblade stopped, breathing in a shallow way. She peered ahead in despair. It looked like she was going to be left behind again. Picking herself up, the elder hobbled after her clan. Eventually she reached the Hollow and padded in, her paws slipping and sliding on the grassy slope. Pearlblade then staggered up to Firestar. "Spectreflame could not attend," she snapped breathlessly, "She's too weak after giving birth." The elderly she-cat dissolved into hacking coughs, her bony frame spasming.

Leaves dangle, Black from the fire. Like my love, It’ll always be a desire.
Scorchedleaf Scorchedleaf padded nervously behind his leader. He wasn't sure how the clans would accept him replacing Wovenknot for the time being. It was a difficult position for the regular deputy, Scorchedleaf realized. She had to choose between ambition and love. Poor Wovenknot. He padded up to a Brightclanner. He recognized it as Grainpelt. There was a Serenticlanner as well, though he did not recognize the femme. He sat down and asked, 'How are you two this fine evening?' He thought that he should be polite. *** The coldness of your green eyes Tell me a story of sorrow. The gentleness of your tone, Tells me something different. Emeraldtalon Emeraldtalon bounded in after Firestar. He scented Serenityclan. He knew that she would not be here and he didn't want to look for her. Instead, he padded over to a Serenityclanner, Snowflake. 'How's the prey running?' He echoed the greeting mewed by many cats. He sat down beside her and waited to see if she would speak to him. *** Falling through that hole in the sky, Watching it all go by, I know what pain is, To feel the loss of you. Birdfeather Birdfeather was happy. Really happy in such a long time. She had been pulled out of misery by her mate, though at the time he was still just a friend. She had found a new love in him. She seemed genuinely happy as she padded alongside her clan. When they reached the hollow, she bounded in after some cats. She sat down in the middle of the clearing and watched as her brother came up to her. She purred as he sat down. 'Oh, tons of it! I haven't had this much fun in ages! How are you? Truly, ho are you?' She knew he was still quite upset over Pecankit. She knew when he was upset because she knew him well. They were so close, closer than many siblings. *** The angels call Call out. I hear their voices, Urging me on.
Angelfeather Angelfeathr padded slowly after Clearpool. It seemed so wrong; it should be Jasminestar up front. She still couldn't wrap her brain around the fact that Jasminestar and Mysticsight had died. She wanted to see for herself the truth behind the rogue's words.
Angelfeather shook her head to slear the depressing news. She looked around to find someone to talk to. She ended up going over to Flarewind. Of course she looked around for Deathflight or Heavenwing. They both didn't seem to be here. Oh well. She sat down beside the deputy. 'Are you nervous?' She asked him. [/sup]

OtterspiritThe gray femme slipped into the clearing, flanking her mate, Barrenclaw. She stayed by his side, looking around. She searched the crowd for Hyenastrike but she saw no sign of the SerenityClan warrior.
She touched her muzzle to Barrenclaw's scarred one. "Dear, come this way," she whispered into his ear. She lead him over to a bush and sat down. The queen turned her attention to the leaders. But her mind just couldn't stay off of her kits. Last time that ha dmade such a fuss. Her mind wandered and she thought of the things that they could possibly do wrong this time. Many various subjects popped into her mind and she grimaced. What if they made teh nursery collapse or something? What if the clan came back to see the camp looking as if a tornado had come through. She shivered. No one would ever babysit the little rascals again if they mess it up this time. She remembered right before she left.
'Now you five be good, y'hear?' Otterspirit said, licking the top of each of her kit's heads. Mirrorkit bounced up and down, 'Of course, mama!'
The young queen sighed and wrapped her tail around herself.
[[sorry for pp-ing, kuri-chan. But you for got to bring in barren-y!]]

[ooc]Fern should get on to post tomorrow, then we can start =]
[bic]Clearpool Clearpool merely smiled meekly as the other leaders leapt up on the tree nest to her. She looked warily at Firestar, but the prange female seemed no different to normal and besides, looking down, she could see that Wovenknot had not attended. Sighing somewhat, she looked dowm at the Clans and at all the new deputies. It seemed that no Clan could hold a deputy position down for long, though she had and she hoped that Flarewind would do the same. Rolling her shoulders, she looked in the direction where EclipseClan would be coming from. They were last again, two Gatherings in a row. Just them to wait for though. Sighing, she looked at her paws nervously. This would indeed be difficult. Darkmagic Darkmagic padded along next to her mate, flank brushing his as she stared at the ground. She was worrying, not so much for her own kits but Spectreflames three. The white she-cat really did have no interest in them at all. Thankfully Wovenknot was at camp, so Ravenclaw wouldn't be completely run off her feet, what with 4 litters of kits to look after. The black and white female realised now that they were in the clearing and sat down next to Saintcalling, her tail twining with his. Looking around, she smiled at everyone who caught her eye but made no move to go and talk to anyone. She was perefectly happy with Saintcalling. Amberpool The long legged honey coloured female padded along beside her mentor, eyes bright and serene. They padded down the hill togther, orange and white, before settling with the other medicine cats. She nodded and smiled at Dragonflydances question. "I am well thank you Dragonflydance. And you?" she said, before dipping her head to all the other medicine cats. She wondered where Cometpaw was but kept quiet, assuming there would be a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why she wasn't there. Smiling, she sat down next to Lavenderlace. Hi. How are you?" she asked the pretty female, her amber eyes bright and interested. [/sub]

Hearing Angelfeather's words, the multi-colored tom moved his head to look at her. Golden-green eyes rested on her, and he shrugged slightly.
About being deputy, no. About the Clan and how badly they have been affected by Jasminestar's, and Mysticsight's, death ... yes. His eyes went back to the other cats in the clearing, and his tail tip twitched slightly. Of course he feared for SerenityClan's well-being. That was how he was. Whiskers twitched, and he looked back at the she-cat next to him. You going to be alright with them gone now?[/blockquote] . f l a r e w i n d

[[ Surprisingly, it didn't take an awful long time until Terrapinpaw raised her round head from staring at her paws to see a she-cat padding toward her. Her smell was of BrightClan. Terrapinpaw had been practicing distinguishing the different scents at her last Gathering and surprisingly, she knew that EclipseClan was the last to get here. The cat padding toward her looked about her age but this must've been her first Gathering since Terrapinpaw hadn't seen her before. "Hello, there. It's nice to meet you Venompaw. I'm Terrapinpaw, from SerenityClan of course," she answered cheerfully and politely.
Something caught her eye. Something red coming from the bracken and ferns near the edge of the clearing. Two red eyes were poking out of the bushes, but for some odd reason, these eyes didn't scare her. She was curious. "Venompaw, do you know the cat with the red eyes over there in the bushes? I find it fascinating. I've never seen a cat with red eyes." Her voice trailed off at the end as she started walking toward the bushes. The smell was BrightClan but there were so many scents that she was drowning in them. For an odd reason, it felt good.

Dancinghare You had demons to kill within you screaming...A slender silver tom entered the clearing with the rest of Moonclan. He stepped gracefully, saying a polite hello to every cat he passed, before sitting near to the other medicine cats. He smiled at them before meowing a quick hello. Hailthunder My heart's a graveyard baby...A small white cat burst into the clearing along with his clan mates, his large ears flapping as he hurried along. Hailthunder grinned flirtily at every cat he passed as he decided where to sit. As he passed Pansyblossom, the small tom flicked his tail. "Hey darling, lovely night, isn't it?" He grinned at her, before continueing on his way. He spotted a she-cat sat alone, and strutted over to her. He sat down beside Tawnysky. "Why are you sat all on your own, a pretty girl like you?" He asked, blinking his yellow eyes up at her. Ashenshadow Have to stand up to be stronger...A small, delicate looking cat entered the clearing behind the rest of his clan. The tom's black and white pelt reflected the moonlight as he carefully placed one shaking paw in front of the other. He looked around trying to decide where to sit, but one of his small paws slipped on the grass and he stumbled almost falling over. He regained his balence, hoping no one had noticed, and decided to just sit where he was. Lostpaw I’ve got to find myself again... A heavily built brown mottled tom entered the clearing with his new clan mates. Lostpaw looked around, his amber eyes huge. This was his first gathering, and he had never seen this many cats in one place before! He staggered a little, then shook himself. He had to be brave, to prove himself to Moonclan. But then, Firestar had given him the name Lostpaw. Lostpaw. Was it a sign? Was he losing who he truly was inside? Was he going in the right direction? The young tom shook his head and sat down; he couldn't deal with that right now.

~ ° [[ Kimi no chikara ni naritainda ]] ° ~ Pansyblossom ° [[ I want to become your strength ]]° "She and some tom Cardinalspire became mates so she's baring his kits. Don't worry. She'll be back in no time, I'm sure," Pansyblossom smiled gently. The lithe russet femme turned and was greeted by Scorchedleaf. "Hey! How's the prey running? Word's out that the Clan's overloaded with kits." She laughed softly. "What? Four queens now, right?" She was about to speak more when the she-cat deputy of CloudClan showed up but since the fae wasn't talking to her, Pansyblossom turned to look at Grainpelt. However another tom accosted her. She narrowed her eyes. "Excuse me?" She opened her mouth to retort, but as usual, she was too slow to make a come-back and the CloudClan playboy moved on to some other she-cat.Runningcloud // The massive she-cat smiled at the female who was her elder, and that was saying something. "Hope the prey's well and the sick even better," she greeted Dragonflydance, licking the CloudClanner across the ear. She smiled at her comrade. "SerenityClan's fine. Healthy kits, healthy apprentices, healthy warriors, somewhat-stable leadership. That's all I ask for right now." She laughed heartily. She peered over the white femme's shoulder. "Your little shadow isn't here? Is she taking care of someone at home?" We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days... Through the fire and the flames we carry on! [/blockquote]

[[Wheee! Fernie is hereee! Well, not totally back, but soon! I know I keep saying that, but seriously, soon! Don't give up hope on me guys!]] fernpelt. A shadow flickered in the strengthening rays of moonlight that shone, silvery, through the trees. The tortoiseshell she-cat's normally glossy coat was dull and slightly faded, the glimmer in the leader's eyes gone. So much had happened in the past moon, and her usually slim, lithe figure was slightly less than that now, skinny and verging on gaunt. As she flicked her tail in signal for her Clan to follow her into Jay's Hollow, she glanced back, almost as though to check she had not lost another cat on the way here.
As Fernpelt stretched into an easy lope, she flicked her ears and heard lots of cats in the clearing already. Late again! she thought, shaking her head. She tried to shrug off the feeling that she was turning into a terrible leader, her own kit going missing over her reign, and concentrated on getting to the place where all the leaders gathered. She padded over, dropping from her lope into a slow walk, and nodded in greeting to the leaders already there. "Good evening, one and all." she said, not being able to think much to connect more than that simple sentence. Worry had blessed her only with lack of sleep, which had left her exhausted. She sat down and waited with the other leaders, watching the Clans. cloudedsky.Cloudedsky padded up quietly behind her apprentice, a ghostly pale figure in the clearing. She sat down next to Dragonflydance and smiled warmly at the EclipseClan medicine cat, waiting until Amberpool had finished speaking before starting herself. "Good evening to you all. I hope StarClan has been treating you all well?" she asked, looking around at the other medicine cats with the same warm look in her eyes that she always carried.

dragonflydance The slim white she-cat smiled as the medicine cat's crowded around her. She turned her pretty blue eyes onto the new medicine cat, Dancinghare, whom she had not met before. At Runningcloud's words, her brow creased a little. "The truth is, I don't know," she mewed, her voice miserable. "I havn't seen her since sunhigh yesterday. I shall search for her when we return to our camp." The white she-cat looked awkward for a moment, then turned to look over her shoulder as Fernpelt finally arrived with EclipseClan. It was probably Fernstar, by now. The medicine cat turned to look at the other medicine cat's. She smiled at Dancinghare. "Is MoonClan well?" she asked politely. tawnysky The patched she-cat turned her head as she heard pawsteps. Eaglecry! Her heart sank. It wasn't her mate. Her mouth formed a straight line of disappointment on her muzzle. The white tom smelt of CloudClan but she didn't remember his name. He was one of those annoying young warriors. She was preparing to ignore him when he spoke. Her jade eyes flashed like fire. Tawnysky's fur bristled furiously. "Go and find some other she-cat to annoy, you stupid furball!" She cuffed the tom violently over the ears with her paw, then turned and strode away. Anger bubbled in her chest along with sadness. Eaglecry wasn't here. Her hopes had been dashed. irispaw The white she-cat began to relax. She pressed her chin into her paws, her breathing slowing down until it reached a normal pace once again. Irispaw pushed her muzzle out of between the ferns, watching the cats crowded around. She smiled a little as a brown and white cat cuffed the ears of a white tom. She then watched the five leaders talking seriously. Irispaw jumped as she noticed a chubby apprentice heading towards her. With a gasp she shrank back into the bush, curling up into a snowy ball. "Leave me alone!" she begged, hiding her eyes with her paws.

Hailthunder My heart's a graveyard baby...The confident white tom let out a little yowl of shock as Tawnysky lashed out at him, and he quickly retreated to the edge of the clearing. He sat for a while, still rather upset at her reaction, but soon got over it and stood up again to find another she-cat to talk to. He then noticed a young cat hiding in the bushes nearby. He padded towards Irispaw, his head tilted to one side. "Why are you hiding, sweetheart?" He asked kindly.

[[ Terrapinpaw jumped back, Irispaw's sudden moments scaring her slightly. She didn't expect the little white she-cat to react in such a way but she didn't back off. She only plodded closer, realizing that this BrightClan apprentice was hiding her eyes from everyone else. But why? It didn't matter what colored eyes she had, now did it? Did cats make fun of her because of it? Well then Terrapinpaw and her had much in common. Except for the fact that Terrapinpaw could easily ignore that, while Irispaw sat in the corner, begging for everyone to go away.
Terrapinpaw didn't go away. She padded into the bushes that surrounded Irispaw and sat down next to her, crouching so that their eyes were at the same level. She ignored Hailthunder, though. She had been watching him until Venompaw showed up and he looked like a real annoying ladies man. She just about rolled her eyes every ten seconds. He wouldn't be a very good cat to comfort a cat with appearance issues now would he? Not when someone with those issues was sitting right next to you, hoping that you would understand. "Why do you hide those beautiful eyes?" Terrapinpaw asked gently, touching her nose to Irispaw's as if to say its 'it's alright here'.

Runningcloud // "I hope nothing happened to her," the large ginger gasped, putting her large paw over her mouth. She hadn't brought it up to Clearpool or Lavenderlace yet, but a wave of death was supposed to be coming soon, even after the odd advent of the darkness disappearing. The Tribe had been defeated, it seemed. Her sight of StarClan was no longer hazy.We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days... Through the fire and the flames we carry on! [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] Ghostlystar "Perhaps next time you can b'on time, Fernpelt, or is it star yet?" Ghostlystar commented coldly. He was not above hiding his display of disdain towards the new leader of EclipseClan. The blue-eyed tom turned his frosty expression, which seemed to have hardened considerably since the death of his son Hollowstripe and deputy Lastfalling. "Clearpool, how about ya start first once everyone quiets down?" he prompted, thrashing his tail and urging his Clan to calm their chatter and everyone else to do the same. And the only sound that will break the air is the warrior's bitter cry

Hickorypaw
I've been awake for a while now You've got me feelin' like a child now
'Cause every time I see your bubbly face I get the tinglies in a silly place
Hickorypaw couldn't help but bounce a bit. Her paws tingled with glee. Not only was this her first Gathering, but she would be accompanied by Kinkajoupaw in the joy. The silver-and-white she-cat shot into the clearing with her Clan, immeadiately looking back to find her friend. She remembered seeing him leave the camp. Where was he? The femme turned her body to the ash, figuring that the announcements would begin soon since EclipseClan had been the last to arrive. But her slate blue optics still flickered about. Where is he?
[/blockquote] Silentsong
I'm falling in love You tempting dove I'm needing your heart I'm falling apart A tortoiseshell-patterned tom padded through the forest, trailing after Fernpelt and the others. He stuck quite close to Rosemarypool, glancing at her now and then. Should she have had her gaze on him at those times, his hazel eyes would have flung to his paws. Silentsong stayed beside her the whole time, all the way to the Hollow, looking up to the leaders awaiting for the Gathering to begin.[/blockquote]

rosemarypool The longhaired warrioress padded along beside Silentsong as the EclipseClan group made it's way through the forest towards the Jay's Hollow. She could tell they were late. She was surprised that Fernpelt had roused herself to take them to the Gathering at all, after what had happened to Brackenkit. The she-cat could feel Silentsong's eyes on her, and turned her head to look at him questioningly. Did she have a burr caught in her fur or something? The shy warrior pawed self-consciously at her snowy chest as they halted at the slope which seperated the forest from the Jay's Hollow. Rosemarypool poured down into the Hollow with the other EclipseClanners. She padded over to a slender BrightClan warrior, Gracewhisper, and nodded at her. "How are BrightClan faring?" she asked politely, reflecting that the young queen looked very miserable. kinkajoupaw The small tabby felt emotions fighting a war inside of him. Most of the battle was ruled by terror, but a small resistance of excitement pushed insistantly against it. Kinkajoupaw stayed close to Petaldance, his huge blue eyes occasionally looking upwards as if he was trying to catch his mother's eye. Hickorypaw walked on his other side. He was glad his friend was attending the Gathering with him. As EclipseClan poured into the clearing, Kinkajoupaw turned to look at Hickorypaw. "Wh-wh-what do we d-do now?" he mewed, looking frightened and unsure. He didn't like the sight of so many cats. And the smell! Oh, the smell! He had never smelt such a huge mass of scents. It made him want to wrinkle his nose. irispaw Irispaw did not respond to Hailthunder. Her small white-furred body shook and shivered with fear, and she kept her forepaws firmly over her eyes. She was pretty sure that these cats wouldn't be crowding in concern if they knew what she was. The she-cat heard another voice, a soft, younger female voice. She still refused to move her paws. "They're not beautiful," she whispered through her tightly clenched paws. Irispaw curled up further, her tail wrapped around her body. "P-please, go away," she didn't want to offend, and therefore anger these cats, but she really did want to be left alone.

~ ° [[ Kimi no chikara ni naritainda ]] ° ~ Pansyblossom ° [[ I want to become your strength ]]° "Alright, Grainpelt, I should get going," the pretty ginger she-cat smiled and turned away from the BrightClan side. However, as she passed, she saw Terrapinpaw intimidating another she-cat. "Hey, Terrapinpaw, let's head back. The Gathering's started." She knew the girl was only curious about that other femme's skin and eyes but the BrightClanner looked scared to death. She flashed a small smile at Irispaw before looking at the larger Terrapinpaw, waiting for her to follow Pansyblossom back to the SerenityClan corner.

<{Harmonypaw}>
The medicine cat apprentice followed closely to her mentor as this was her first gathering as both an apprentice and medicine cat apprentice. She wondered who the other medicine cat apprentices were and how to react too them. 'One step at a time.' She told herself. She moved closer as her and her mentor sat down among the other medicine cats, suddenly feeling like a small kit again with so many other warriors around.
[/blockquote] {Vinepaw}
Vinepaw was caught up in the middle as BrightClan followed their fearless leader down into Jay's Hollow. She really hoped that her EclipseClan brother, Raincatcher, was here. She had grown a bit and wasn't as scared of her father as much, mostly because he hadn't been called to go to this Gathering. She looked around the EclipseClan cats and sadly found that her brother wasn't among them. Maybe next time. She suddenly felt alone knowing no one else here.
[/blockquote] <:Lightpaw:>
A smile crossed the white apprentices face as he realized that SerenityClan was the first Clan in the hollow. He sat in waiting to see who was next when BrightClan came over the edge and poured in. He wasn't much of a talker so he sat where he was knowing that he would most likely become bored until the meeting started. It was unlikely that any others were going to talk to him so he settled himself into a comfortable position with his tail laying over his paws.
