l o n e l y heart.
The light had swallowed her whole, but now it had spat her back out.
The darkness engulfed Lonelyheart, and suddenly she was floating free in the darkness. The white femme couldn't see anything at all, even when she blinked. She struggled and wiggled, but nothing happened.
She wasn't sure how long she had been drifting, but suddenly, the black winked out and was replaced by a blue sky. She blinked a couple of times and saw clouds everywhere. The invisible current carried her to one of the clouds, and set her down gentlely. She licked her paw and swiped in over her ears. Where was she?
She looked around, but could only see white as the clouds seems to come hover closer. She shivered, and shifted on her paws. Where was she supposed to go? What was going on? ooc free if anyone else wants to post with their Tribe cat <3[/blockquote]

sunjinx It was like getting her breath back. It was as though, in these past moons since her death, she had had something covering her nose and mouth, smothering her and stealing away her breath. But now that was gone. And she was free. Sunjinx opened her eyes, gasping in her breath. It tasted like the fresh, crystal clear waters of the CloudClan river. Her home. The she-cat got to her paws. Her coat had been restored, no longer spectral and misty but a clear white, the ginger splotches like fire. But sparkles glittered through her fur, proof that she was dead. She was a StarClan cat. Sunjinx raised her head and looked upward. There were no stars. And that was because she was a star. The she-cat peered from side to side. She could see other cats, waking up around her. She was free. Really free. spectrumflash A long-limbed tom awoke near Lonelyheart. He opened his eyes. No longer crimson, but blue. The tom's snowy fur had also been restored, patched over with smoky grey. It felt like he had just woken up from a very deep sleep. Spectrumflash raised his head, getting to his paws. Where was he? The cloud that had shrouded his mind for so long had... It had cleared. It was gone. And he didn't recognize his surroundings. It certainly didn't look like the craggy Tribe land. The tom shook himself, stars glittering in his pelt. Spectrumflash turned his head. He caught sight of another cat, one he recognized. He hadn't recognized any cat since his death. It was as if the key to his mind had been returned. Spectrumflash raced to the white-coated cat. "L... Lonelyheart? That's your name, isn't it? It's Sp.. Spec..." What was his name? He hadn't remembered his name in ages. "Spectrumflash."

Bloodkit
Raining blood from a lacerated sky Bleeding its horror, creating my structure The light had burned his pelt, even though he had lost the evil blood-thirsty nature. It was a pain that no cat, especially a kit, should have to bear. But he felt it. And then, like the sweet, comforting rasp of a mother's tongue over his blood-speckled fur, it was gone. He was caressed by a warm aura, a sweet scent like a field of lilacs and roses. Opening his darling eyes, Bloodkit took in his surroundings. He appeared to be floating in the sky. Where was he...? He strained to recall his past, realizing that this was StarClan. He'd been freed from the clutches of the Tribe. "H-hello?" he mewed shakily. StarClan was nice, right?[/blockquote]

l o n e l y heart.
Lonelyheart looked around again. Suddenly, three other cats appeared. They seemed familiar. One of them, a snowy tom, raced towards her. She remembered him now. Spectrumflash. He had been with her in... in the Tribe, right? And he had been there right before... right before the light...
The femme peered into his eyes. They were no longer red, as all Tribe cats had been, but a lovely blue. She blinked and put a paw to her own cheeks. Had her eyes changed to... what color had they been? Green? Blue?
She finally realized that the tom had spoken to her. Yeah, that's my name. Spectrumflash. Yes, I remember you. She looked at the other two cats. One was a ginger-splotched she-cat, the other a small kit. They had both lost their previously-red irises and had what could only be described as fur thick with starlight. She remembered them faintly.
She turned back to Spectrumflash, he voice shakey. ...What happened? I don't... I can't really remember that much... She scratched her head with one of her claws as she searched her brain for answers. Are we in... Starclan? [/blockquote]

spectrumflash The grey and white tom felt the corners of his lips curving upwards slightly as the white she-cat looked at him. It was such an odd sensation that shock wiped the look off his face again. He had forgotten he could do that. He had forgotten he could... Smile. Spectrumflash nodded as the she-cat spoke, flicking his ears forward. It was wird, now that the puppet strings had been severed, and his body was his own again. The tom unsheathed his claws experimentally. "I think... I think The Tribe... I think they were destroyed," he mewed. I think we were destroyed. Our Trible selves, anyway. "Yes, I think this is StarClan." Spectrumflash noticed the small cat, too. "Are you okay?" he asked Bloodkit.

l o n e l y heart.
Lonelyheart's breath was caught in her throat. Destroyed? She closed her eyes and searched her mind once more.
She remembered... running towards Pecankit, her claws outstretched. But then, another cat got in her way... And then the sun rose above the ice. And then everything was white.
Lonelyheart nodded in agreement with Spectrumflash. I think you're right. After the sun came... She wasn't sure how to put the experience in words. ...I don't know, I guess the sun burned away the bad stuff in us. She bite her lip, and looked back at the kit. She remembered his name now. Bloodkit. She remembered him looking vicious and remembered his evil and snappy manner. Now, he looked like a normal kit. His face made him seem like he was just a kit who had strayed from the nursery. [/blockquote]

Bloodkit
Raining blood from a lacerated sky Bleeding its horror, creating my structure Bloodkit blinked as he realized that he was being addressed. At the moment, he didn't know what to call himself. All of the cats in the Tribe were too gruff, too evil to even tell him what his name was. They simply had dismissed him, like a flea. "Me?" he mewed quietly, timidly. "I think I'm alright..." The little tom approached the duo, surveying each of them carefully. "You're not gonna hurt me like the big silver cat, are you?" He meant Windstripe, for he didn't know his name, either. He didn't know any names, not even his own. The scarred silver tabby with the orange eyes had frightened the small black kitten quite much.[/blockquote]

spectrumflash The grey and white tom blinked, nodding in agreement. He turned to look at the kit again, his blue eyes soft. He remembered his death now. He remembered going hunting alone, and being confronted by a spectral figure. That was when he had been killed. He had been terrified. And if he, an adult warrior, had been so frightened, surely this kit would have been petrified? Spectrumflash padded awkwardly to the kit and licked it between the ears. "No, we're in StarClan now, Bloodkit," the name slipped out. His ears twitched. He was remembering so much... It was odd.

Bloodkit
Raining blood from a lacerated sky Bleeding its horror, creating my structure The small tom blinked gratefully at Spectrumflash's kind and comforting gesture. It was nice to be somewhere where the cats were kind, after having resided in such a place of terror and hatred as the Tribe grounds. StarClan seemed much nicer. "Bloodkit?" he mewed, tilting his head to one side. "My name is Bloodkit?" His yellow eyes blinked again, before staring at his small paws. The black kitten's little frame shuddered. Bloodkit was such a scary sounding name. But it was what he was called. Sighing, his gaze returned to the other two cats. "If I'm Bloodkit...what are your names?"[/blockquote]

x__cinnabarcloud__x Hush now baby, don't you cry Rest your wings, my butterfly Peace will come to you in time And I will sing this lullaby "If Bloodkit is not what you wish to be called, there certainly can be a name change."
Warm flames flickered down like fallen leaves of autumn, wafting in the air by the pumping wings of the phoenix-like Cinnabarcloud. The burgundy-eyed tom sat down on a cloud, his tail curling around his feathery paws.
"It's odd to be fighting you one moment and then greeting you the next. Salutations, Spectrumflash, Lonelyheart, Bloodkit. You already know me, am I right?" He smiled gently.
"I'm Cinnabarcloud..." The elder folded his wings, nestling his firm-jawed head in his fluffy chest.
"Liking what you see so far?"

l o n e l y heart.
Lonelyheart's attention turned to the fiercely orange Cinnabarcloud. She knew she had seen him before... she closed her eyes once more and searched again. Yes. He had been at the battle. She remembered raked her claws through his 'flesh'. She winced. How could she have done that?
She opened her eyes. They were a cold blue, but they burned with warmth. Of course we remember you. It wasn't that long ago... Lonelyheart wasn't sure how long it had been since the battle. Had long had she been floating, anyway? She had no sense of time anymore. Not that it mattered. She would be spending eternity in Starclan now, and that was that.
She shook her head and looked back at the Starclanner. Well, all I've seen is clouds, so I'm not sure. She smiled a little. Hey, sorry for attacking at the battle. She ducked her head. [/blockquote]

spectrumflash Spectrumflash blinked in shock as, in a flash of red flames, a cat appeared. He stared, shocked. He faintly recognized the tom. He knew he'd seen the StarClanner at the recent battle, but he felt as if he had seen him before... Before he had died. Oh yes! He was a BrightClanner. He must've seen him at a Gathering once. Spectrumflash felt immensely proud of himself for remembering this piece of information. This emotion was soon evaporating as Cinnabarcloud spoke to Bloodkit. Poor, poor Bloodkit. Even his name reflected his awful time in the Tribe. He pressed up against the skinny kit comfortingly. He remembered something else. He'd always loved kits. He felt a bit sad. He hadn't lived long enough to meet a she-cat that he loved and have any of his own.
The grey and white tom hung his head in shame as Lonelyheart spoke of attacking. "I can't believe I killed cats," he murmured miserably, looking at his paws. He couldn't remember ever feeling so ashamed of himself.

Bloodkit
Raining blood from a lacerated sky Bleeding its horror, creating my structure Bloodkit's head flew up to sight the flames that became Cinnabarcloud. For the first split second, he was frightened, his mind reeling as he thought that a member of the Tribe had come to destroy StarClan. But the flames were comforting, and they gave way to a kind and gentle-looking tom. He then thought about it some more and dismissed it, realizing that such a thing was impossible since the Tribe had been vanquished. The young tom's yellow eyes lit up, and he straightened his posture. He was allowed to have his name changed? He never knew that! A purr erupted from his throat, but he forced it down a bit. "I would very much like that, mister Cinnabarcloud," he mewed.[/blockquote]

x__cinnabarcloud__x Hush now baby, don't you cry Rest your wings, my butterfly Peace will come to you in time And I will sing this lullaby Cinnabarcloud laughed heartily. "This is just the Spectral Balance. The forests and fields are beyond this point." He gestured with his wing, the massive appendage extending majestically to the east. The large tom brought himself down the ground and folded his wings.
Turning to Spectrumflash, the tom's expression became serious. "Comrade, it was something beyond your control. Sablestar and Heartlessfrost were the specters that did it. They will pay their dues in DeathClan." He shook his head and lifted his paw, patting the former EclipseClanner's shoulder.
Then he looked over at Bloodkit who had clambered to his side. The large tom smiled kindly. "Very well, your new name shall be Twilightkit as the name Bloodkit no longer matches what you are," he said.

l o n e l y heart.
Lonelyheart's mouth slowly turned into a warm smile. Starclan seemed so... nice. She had never gotten that treatment before, not since she had been alive. She looked towards the direction Cinnabarcloud had pointed to, and tapped one of her paws eagerly. She longed to roam in fields, and feel the grass brush her fur. The Tribe had robbed her of all things pleasant. She remember the dark lands she had once lived in. There had been almost no living things, on account of the place being the closest thing to hell.
Lonelyheart nodded at the Starclanner's words. Good. That's what those bastards deserve. She spat on the cloudy ground, and growled a little. We were nothing but puppets, She said softer. She shook her head sadly.
Her mind wandered to the battle with Clans that had happened only a few moons ago. Realization gripped her heart with a cold hand. Oh no! She slumped to the ground, shaking her head fiercely. No, no, NO! How could I? What have I done? A tear trickled down her cheek. I killed my own son! She began to sob. She started out quiet, and the cries grew in volume until they echoed in her ears. Tick-tock, Tick-tock. The time goes slowly. I count the days as they turn to years, And wait for you painfully.
Glace
Glace had no idea what had happened. One moment, she was waiting for the other Tribe members to return after defeating the kits, the next moment there was a flash of light. She had shut her eyes against it, then opened them in astonishment. There was a vast amount of white. Many cats were around her. She was afraid. She saw her tribemates, but no longer felt bloodthirsty to kill any cats. She noticed new ones as well. She trembled and stepped back, bumping into another cat. She mumbled an apology, then the scent wreathed around her. She whipped around to confront the stranger, then recognized him. The tom spoke. 'Hello, Glace. Welcome to Starclan.' He mewed. Oh, that mew, the rusty tone that Glace had fallen in love with. Her eyes strayed to his throat, where the puncture wounds that she had inflicted upon him were. She looked up into his intense gaze. 'Oh, Roussi. I am so sorry. I was driven by the tribe. I was desperate to please. Now, I know. I have deprived my child of meeting her father. Oh, will you ever forgive me?'
Rustedcrest looked at her. 'I am now known as Rustedcrest. Also, things will be forgiven in due time. You must understand how horrified I was to find out that you had tried to kill my daughter. You must realize it.' He gazed at her, trying to find the connection that had been torn away from him when he died. He had truly loved this cat when he lived. now, though, it seemed that the love had been lost. Rustedcrest stepped back from Glace. 'Listen, Lonepaw is terrified of you. Please, whatever you do, do not become her guardian. She will freak, I guarantee you thatr.' Glace nodded, too horrified to speak. She was being rejected by the only cat that she had truly loved. It all made sense, though. She had killed him then tried to kill their daughter. 'I understand, Roussi, er, Rustedcrest. I will stay away from her.' She hung her head. She felt horrible.
Rustedcrest looked at her again, then stepped forward. His compassion to care had overwhelmed his stubbornness and he touched his nose to her cheek. 'I will show her to you one day. Not right now, though. She is going through some tough times.' Glace stared up at Rustedcrest. 'My baby... in trouble?' She stood, feeling the ground shake. She started to stumble, but Rustedcrest caught her and led her to a spot not far from the rest of the cats. Silently, he started to groom her. She stared blankly ahead, wondering what trouble Lonepaw could be in.
Through the gates of fire, I have walked. Known love, Then had it lost.
Rustedcrest
