Dovefeathers
[i've learned the hard way to never let it get that far]
She-cat
[because of you i never stray too far from the sidewalk]
[because of you i learned to play on the safe side so i don't get hurt]
49 moons
[because of you i find it hard to trust not only me but everyone around me]
[because of you i am afraid]
MoonClan
Warrior
[i'm forced to fake a smile, a laugh, every day of my life]
[my heart can't possibly break when it wasn't even whole to start with]
Gaze upon the face of an angel, graceful in the way she moves and strong as how she carries herself. This is Dovefeathers. Meet her amber gaze and see the moons of wisdom that have passed that same gaze. It is covered by a look of gentle kindness, the attitude that she can't help but take. Dovefeathers' face is soft and open, despite the moons of hardship she has seen, that would no doubt make any other cat's expression look older than they really were. She has a long, pointed muzzle ending with a pale fuschia nose outlined heavily in black. She has small, symmetrical ears with pale gray hairs inside. Her eyes are large and cerulean, outlined also in heavy black. This same raven colour splatters her face like war paint, melting down and splashing over her body as well. Dovefeathers' body is swift and lithe, a streak of moonlight against the dark undergrowth. She has long, elegant legs with dainty little paws encasing slivers of razor claws. Her tail is long and whip like. She is pretty thin and graceful, except from on her shoulders, where there is lots of muscle packed onto her otherwise fragile-looking body. Her pelt is splattered with the same midnight black as her face, distinct markings on her bright silver pelt. Her underbelly fades to light, smokey gray. Her pelt is not very long, but is very soft and remarkably spotless. It is pretty thick, a layer of shorter, bristlier hairs beneath her furry, pretty coat, giving her extra insulation in the winter. There is one other cat that shares Dovefeathers' looks, though it is in a more muscled, tom like fashion. It is the face of her twin brother, Saintcalling.

Actions speak louder than words. Dovefeathers is a strong believer of that, and also believes that you must treat others as you want to be treated yourself. She gets on well with anyone, and hates to argue. All her morals and beliefs are thrown out the window on a battlefield however, and she will fight as fiercely as any. She is a strong believer of StarClan and sticks vigilantly to the warrior code. The only thing that she cannot stand, and that she will get quite het up about, is a cat that is ignorant of their family, or ungrateful to their friends. She will reprimand any cat that is like that and can be quite menacing when she wants to be. She is not a pushover, even though she hates to argue. She just does not see the point in stooping to that level. Dovefeathers likes to see new kits in the nursery, but has not thought of having her own yet. She will take out any warrior's apprentice if need be, say if the warrior is injured from battle, or is simply too busy. She hopes to have her own apprentice soon, because she loves being with the younger ones of the Clan, and teaching them the way of the warrior. Dovefeathers loves to help, and will do any cat a favour if they ask her nicely.

Dovefeathers' parents were Owlfur and Carawaypath, two warriors that had been together since apprenticeship. Owlfur was a very protective father, and Carawaypath gave birth to three healthy kits. Two of the kits were twins, one a tom, the other a she-cat. They took after their mother, looks-wise. The third kit, a tom, looked more like Owlfur. The kits were strong, and were named Dovekit, Secretkit and Poplarkit. The twins, Dovekit and Secretkit, took after each other personality-wise, and a lot of the time cats in the Clan couldn't tell them apart, both being quiet and composed, unlike Poplarkit, who was more adventurous and outgoing. They were given their apprentice names together, and Dovekit got a mentor named Harrierwing. She wanted to do well as an apprentice, and vowed to try hard. Dovepaw tried hard as an apprentice, but was very daydreamy and got distracted easily. She liked training best when she got to learn about being a warrior with her brothers. She seemed to focus better when her siblings were around. Dovepaw's training was coming slowly, and it was really tested when she and her siblings got thrown into battle against EclipseClan. Dovepaw got through it with no serious injuries, but she had had to catch herself a few times to stop daydreaming throughout. After the battle, she and Secretpaw were devastated to find that Poplarpaw had been killed, alongside Owlfur. Dovepaw was struck hard by this blow, but life kept flowing around her and she learned to get over it. Then, eleven moons old, she earned her warrior name. Dovefeathers was extremely happy that she had gained her warrior status, and felt a new sense of achievement. She knew Owlfur and Poplarpaw would have been proud. She was still very close to Secretmist, but could sense him drawing away from her. She followed him out of camp one day and found he was meeting with an EclipseClanner. She didn't say anything, and never has, but despised her brother for going against the warrior code. Soon after, she found out he had gained a new name after a near death experience, Secretcalling. Apparently he had driven a badger from their territory. This was what he told her, but he had reeked of EclipseClan when he came to tell her. Moons passed, and Secretcalling and she grew further and further apart. Dovefeathers had noticed him visit their mother less and less in her elderly time, and she was disgusted at him. Carawaypath died a peaceful death, but Dovefeathers saw that Secretcalling had noticed how much he had ignored their mother in her last moons, and she could see he regreted it. She could not forgive him, though. Dovefeathers patience with Secretcalling was really put to the test when he brought a kit - Wovenkit - back to camp. He had a cover story but she wasn't stupid. When Wovenkit was apprenticed she saw that the kit and her father did not get on very well, and was disgusted further when Secretcalling left her, and the rest of the Clan. No sign has been seen of her brother since, but she knew deep down what happened. Despite what her past says, Dovefeathers is determined to forget her brother and make a life of her own.
This IC part isn't needed =P
[you never thought of anyone else you just saw your pain]
[and now i'm crying in the middle of the night for the same damn thing]
Her family consist of: Owlfur, her father, slain in a battle with her brother, Poplarpaw. Her mother, Carawaypath, died a peaceful death after a long life. She has disowned her brother, Secretcalling, and never wishes to see him again. Her mentor was Harrierwing. Her niece, Wovenknot, was the offspring of Secretcalling and his secret relationship.
[because of you i never stray too far from the sidewalk]
[because of you i learned to play on the safe side so i don't get hurt]
Dovefeathers hates Secretcalling with a pulsing venom, but has never told his secret, or where he went when he disappeared.
[because of you i try my hardest just to forget everything]
[because of you i don't know how to let anyone else in]
Whisper the words Poison Tears Crash Down.
[because of you i am afraid]
[because of you]

This is good. But before I accept it, can you add Wovenknot to her family? xD You missed her off. ^^
