Silentpaw is white with black and brown blotches, like a painting made by a three-year-old. His black spots fade to gray in some places. His fluffy tail is striped in black and white. His eyes are a hazel color, but they never shine in the sunlight. They are always dull for some reason.

Silentpaw's name explains a lot. He rarely ever talks. When answering, he'll simply shake his head or nod. He usually will show what he means or feels with his eyes or a gesture of some sort. He only speaks if he really needs to, such as replying to his leader or on occasion his mentor. He is very respectful to his authority, and he's a quick learner. He always thinks before acting.

Silentpaw was a happy and very talkative kit in the EclipseClan nursery. But he was too talkative, and not to mention loud. He was trying to wake his sibling up to play Clan leaders with him when his loud mews alerted a fox nearby. The fox attacked the nursery that night. Both of Silentpaw's siblings, Silverkit and Yarrowkit, were killed, along with their mother, Soaringsong. His father was killed when he tried to protect them from the fox. A few other cat's were killed in the making too, but finally they drove it out. Now, because of that incident, when Silentpaw actually does speak, he keeps a low tone and a quiet voice, and moment he does is very brief.
