Avert your eyes, toward the skies
awash with pain and hurt and lies
a sin foretold, written in blood
The raven calls, hear the cry!
Hide your face hope not to die!

The son is here, the time is near
for hate and faithless waves of fear
a chant springs up ghastly chorus

The clouds are black, the fear is back
the raven's claws open for a fresh attack
bloodstained fiction stories rife

A child gone astray, time to pay
the gods resentment fresh in the fray
flash of claws winter's call
