Please tell me how they are!! Don't be afraid to be HONEST. I can take criticism!!!
Do you love me?
I told you once,
But you never replied.
Do you love me,
Or was it all a lie?
Can you tell me now,
So I will know,
Do you love me or do you not?
It’s a simple question,
Takes two seconds to reply.
I need to know,
Don’t tell me good-bye.
I love you,
Why won't you reply?
Love vs. Hate
I’ve had enough of you,
Your mood and your selfishness
Your tricks and your cons.
I think all you need to hear is,
I love you,
But I hate you,
It’s all too hard to say,
I need you but want you gone,
Want you in my thoughts,
But want you off the earth.
I love you,
But I hate you.
These words I never want to say.
You seem to always be in my way.
I need you gone,
I want you gone,
I don’t want you here,
Go anywhere else.
Just. Not. here.
(CHORUS)
(bridge)
If I can trust you,
I need to know,
Do you love me?
Or do you hate me?
Can you answer me?
I need to know.
I’ve answered you,
Now it’s your turn.
(Music)
(CHORUS x2)
END
My Happy Place
You ask me where I am happy?
You really want to know?
I don’t like the bustling,
Confusing streets.
The horrid air,
Full of car fuel.
I wish to breathe,
Fresh air from open landscape.
To taste the sweet scents in the air.
I wish to see tractors,
Pulling hay throughout the streets.
Do you want to know why I love being out in the Country?
Peace and calm,
Not a care in the world.
The muted humming of bugs flying.
The land that stretches on forever.
The wind constantly blowing in your face.
Yes, the country is where I love to be,
It’s the place,
I want it for me.
The End
Graduation
As we grow,
We move apart.
But our hearts,
They never part.
As friends we stay together,
Facing things together.
But things we must face,
Alone we must chase,
Our heart’s desire.
But never forget,
The memories we get,
From each time we spend together.
So these final words,
We must say.
To all our friends,
Who go and stay.
Say goodbye,
One final time,
For we are graduating,
And leaving others behind.
Pain
I thought I knew you,
I guess I wrong.
You took me and tore me into pieces.
You make me choose,
Between my friends.
I never want to do that,
But it’s too hard to say,
You took me and stabbed my back,
With the bloody knife.
You stabbed and never took it out.
The pain is too real.
I wish you could understand,
That life can’t be delivered,
On a silver platter.
I wish I could tell you,
I cannot choose.
But you would never accept that,
And those “truths” you tell me will become lies.
(CHORUS)
(BRIDGE)
I never wanted to hurt you,
Or make you cry.
I wanted to prove a point,
Not to wave you by.
(screamed)
But you seem to never understand,
As I try to explain.
(whispered)
And now I know.
(CHORUS x2)
This Letter.
Dear all who dare read,
This is my final letter.
I shall write no more,
For my hand is growing weak.
This is a goodbye,
Not forever but for now.
I’m leaving to go on,
Vacation!
It’s fun.
Hawaii,
Mexico,
Bahamas to Bermuda.
I’m going everywhere.
And I tell you,
This is my last letter!!
Dear all,
Who dare read,
This is my final letter,
I’m heading to Bermuda for five weeks,
To rest this weary hand of mine.
The memos I write,
Every single day,
I want you to know,
I’m going on,
(Chorus)
(Bridge)
Vaaaaaaaacaaaaaaaationnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn…
Vaaaaaaaaaaacaaaaaaaaaaaaationnnnnnnnnnnnnnn,
Vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaationnnnnnnnnnnnn…
I’ll. Be Gone.
(Chorus x2)
When you called me last night crying,
I didn’t know what to do.
There you were,
Saddened by your heart.
I felt the pain from you as hard as my own.
You know I am here,
Talk to me as you wish.
I wish I could take your pain,
And throw it away.
Make you the person I once knew.
I know you think you’re alone,
But you’re not.
You’ve got me,
We’ve been friends forever.
You should know,
How much I care for you.
As friends, and as close as friends can get without being siblings.
I want you to know,
You can count on me for anything.
Calling me at midnight,
If you wake up crying,
Coming to me during the day,
Sighing.
And as you heave,
That big sigh,
You will feel better,
With friends at your side.
Because no matter what,
That what I am,
Your friend,
A trustful person,
For you to lean on,
Whenever you need.
I wrote this poem,
Because you are sad,
Trust me,
It helps to have someone,
To know you can trust.
(This is for a friend who was sad...)
