BLIZZARDHAWK & AUTUMNPAW His leg aching, the white tom twitched in his sleep. His eye lids flickered open as a burst of sunlight slid through the warrior's den entrance, his eyes moving around the den. As he moved to stand, the white male stood, them stumbled, cursing as pain exploded through his leg. Damnit He thought as he cursed, then rightened himself and padded through the den entrance. The morning was still early, quiet and peaceful. Just how he liked it most mornings. His tail flicking back and forth, he padded through the center of the camp, an awkward movement because of his partially limp leg. Arriving at the fresh kill pile, he had just leaned down to take a small vole when a flash of orange went past his view. Jerking his head up, Blizzardhawk's gold eyes narrowed darkly until he heard the laughter, and surprisingly deep voice of his son.
"You're getting slow, old man. I swear you used to always be able to steal my prey whenever I tried to take some" The tom chuckled as his teal eyes glowed lightly, lowering his upper body down into a half-crouch, tail flicking back and forth as watched his father. Autumnpaw's features were very much like the fairly small, white tom that was his father, of course, now he almost towered over the cat he always looked up to. His eyes gleamed as he jumped back to his paws, face wide and open.
"And how long have you been up, Autumnpaw?" Blizzardhawk scowled as he grabbed a mouse, then turned towards his son again. His tail flicking, her padded towards the warrior's den, the younger tom following. Plopping down in front of the den, he bit in his prey, watching as Autumnpaw did the same.

cherrysmoke As soon as her mate had left her side, Cherrysmoke was awake. The square-framed she-cat rolled over, exhaling deeply. Her teal eyes snapped open, and her mouth stretched wide in a yawn which displayed all of her sharp white teeth. The reddish brown warrioress got to her feet, stretching her stiff muscles. She then shook out her short fur and padded out of the den, following her mate. She spotted Blizzardhawk by the fresh kill pile, with their son, Autumnpaw. She smiled. Her kits had grown so much. They were nine moons old now, and no longer babies. Autumnpaw and Adderpaw were more like her, sturdy and muscular, whereas Larchpaw had a more wiry frame. Deerpaw was different, willowy, with very long legs and a slim body. Cherrysmoke smiled. At the moment, she couldn't quite believe that, at one point, she had not wanted her kits.
Cherrysmoke padded towards her mate and son in time to hear Autumnpaw's remark. She whipped him over the ears with her tail. "Don't be rude, Autumnpaw!" she scolded him, though she couldn't help smiling at his antics. The cream-coloured tom was becoming so handsome, just like his father. Cherrysmoke padded to her mate and licked his cheek. "Morning," she mewed warmly. She peered from side to side, looking for the rest of her litter, and perhaps her older daughters. She would visit Petalrain's kits later...

BLIZZARDHAWK & AUTUMNPAW Autumnpaw jumped slightly as he felt a tail whipped across his ears. Jumping up, he scowled at his mother, shaking his head before lying down again and biting into his vole, eyes watching his mother as she padded towards his father. "Not my fault he's getting old, Mum." He mumbled, shaking his as he finished the prey off, then dug a small hole to bury the bones. Standing up and streching, he slipped to the warrior's den entrance, poking his head inside and looking around. A smirk crossed his features as he padding around the cats, then prodded Pansyblossom in the side. "Pansyblossom. The sun's out. And you said yesterday to wake you when it came up so we can start training early" He said, a bit loudly, in his older sister's ear.
The white tom muffled a chuckle as Autumnpaw jumped up, then scowled at his mother before settling down again. Blizzardhawk's gold eyes seemed to brighten at his mate's approach. Reaching up, the tom pressed his muzzle to hers, then offered her the rest of his mouse. "Morning, love. I didn't wake you when I left, did I?" He asked as he sat up beside her, nuzzling her ear before rasping his tongue over it. His eyes flicked towards the apprentices den, wondering where the rest of thier kits were. His attention returned to Autumnpaw, who slipped into the warrior's den, obviously to wake up his mentor. A small chuckle escaped his lips. "I wonder how Pansyblossom's holding out with that son of ours" Blizzardhawk murmured, glancing towards his mate.

cherrysmoke & hyenastrike The sturdy warrioress shook her head as she watched her son pad away. She pressed her cheek against her mate's with a smile. "You're not old," she assured him, her teal eyes shining with amusement. Cherrysmoke's eyes followed Autumnpaw as he went to bother Pansyblossom. She smiled. Her older daughter had her paws full with her younger brother. Cherrysmoke drew away from Blizzardhawk, smirking at him. "You did, as a matter of fact," she mewed, in mock-stern tones. She then laughed, took a vole from the fresh kill pile and began to eat, to calm her growling stomach. Cherrysmoke gave a snort of mirth at her mate's next words. "He's eager alright," she mewed warmly.
Roused by Autumnpaw's impatient words, Hyenastrike opened his good eye. He sighed as he spotted the younger cat who had woken him. The large, muscular ginger tom got to his paws and stretched, trying not to look at the apprentice. He knew his heavily scarred face frightened some of the younger members of the clan. The deep scar, which ripped from his ear, down across eye, falling down his face to curve to an end on the base of his neck, was still as noticeable as ever. Seeing Autumnpaw reminded Hyenastrike that he had his own apprentice to train - Larchpaw. The muscular warrior exited the den, heading towards the apprentices' fern bush.

BLIZZARDHAWK The white tom arched an eyebrow as her comment, letting out a slow breath. Taking the last few bites out of his mouse, he buried the bones, then glanced towards the warrior's den as Hyenastrike appeared, padding across the camp towards the apprentice's den, most likely to collect Larchpaw for training. Taking a breath, Blizzardhawk turned his attention towards his mate. "You sure? I feel old. I swear, that fox took moons off my body" He said was a sigh, glancing down at his lame leg, shifting it slightly before burying the bones of his meal. His tail curling around his leg, he moved it again as he stood up and shook out his pelt, gold eyes wandering back towards Cherrysmoke. "I'm sorry for waking you. But if it wasn't me waking you, I'm sure Autumnpaw would have" He chuckled, shaking his head before sitting back down beside her.

~ ° [[ Kimi no chikara ni naritainda ]] ° ~ Pansyblossom ° [[ I want to become your strength ]]° "Mmm...what?"
Stormy gray eyes flickered up to attention before closing due to a mighty yawn. The lean she-cat rose and towered over Autumnpaw while she sat up on two legs and scratched at the wall of the warrior's den.
"Oh right." She smiled kindly at the apprentice and ruffled his head affectionately. "I'll be out shortly."
The ginger-pelted she-cat was the color of fire and about as lithe as a tongue of it. She leapt gracefully from her bed and smiled at Hyenastrike. She had never forgotten the tom who had saved her from the spectral renegade Windstripe. She padded over to him and ran her tongue across his ear affectionately before continuing on to pass him. She hadn't told him her feelings of love that she had had of him since she was a newly-made warrior, and to be honest, she really didn't think he would return the affection. Was she really his type?
The she-cat had left SerenityClan a while back to collect her thoughts and find her purpose. She had met other cats, who taught her all sorts of things, and she had come back a better woman, in her opinion. She would love to teach Autumnpaw that.
Her gray eyes flickered over at Hyenastrike again before leaving the warrior's den in favor of greeting her mother and step-father. Unlike before, she greeted Blizzardhawk with open paws, touching her nose to him and greeting her mother with equal affection.
"Blazepaw was looking for you earlier, Dad," Pansyblossom said, jerking his head to the queen's den where one could see the massive ochre-hued tomcat pushing out old nest fodder. He looked a bit dejected.
Gray glances turned over to Autumnpaw. "Wanna spar?"

cherrysmoke & hyenastrike Cherrysmoke's eyes softened as Blizzardhawk spoke about the fox that had mutilated his leg. She licked his neck affectionately. "It doesn't matter to me," she mewed gently. The reddish-brown coated warrioress's smile returned as the white tom spoke again of their lively son. Cherrysmoke smirked. "I forgive you," she mewed. "You're probably right." Cherrysmoke blinked as Hyenastrike exited the warriors' den, quickly followed by one of her first litter, Pansyblossom.
The warrioress hurriedly hid her smile as her daughter padded over to the tom, licking him over the ears. Cherrysmoke had seen the way Pansyblossom looked at the tom; it was about time they became mates, surely? They had been close for moons. Cherrysmoke found her imagination wandering, as she pictured Pansyblossom in the nursery... The image shattered as her daughter arrived. Cherrysmoke positively beamed as she watched Pansyblossom greet Blizzardhawk. At first, her daughter had hated her new mate. But her brief spell away from SerenityClan seemed to have really changed her for the better. "Morning," she mewed brightly.
Hyenastrike caught Pansyblossom's smile out of the corner of his good eye, and smiled a small, wry smile back at her. He had always had a soft spot for the she-cat, who was probably his closest friend. They never said much; it was just knowing that she was there. The tom truly did have no idea how his friend felt about him. The scarred tom continued to smile at her after she licked his ear and headed towards her family. Feeling slightly better, Hyenastrike entered the apprentices' den and gave Larchpaw's fluffy, wheat-coloured shape a rough nudge. "Hey, wake up," he mewed in his usual gruff tones.

BLIZZARDHAWK & AUTUMNPAW The white tom's eyes softened as he heard his mate's words. To her, he was the same cat that would race into almost any battle. Now he was hesitant. He didn't want to hurt himself more so he couldn't protect his family. Blizzardhawk leaned forwards, brushing his muzzle against hers before letting out a light purr, his golden eyes closing for a second before they opened again, looking down at Autumnpaw as he ruffled his son's fur and chuckled as his scrunched up nose.
His attention turned as Pansyblossom came out. On instinct, he inhaled sharply, then relaxed as all she did was greet him openly. He smiled back at her, licking her over the ear before his eyes were directed towards the queen's den, letting out a slow breath. Yes....Blazepaw would be looking for him. Blizzardhawk sighed quietly as he thought about their first few training sessions. "I'll have to take him out later.." He murmured, glancing back towards his step-daughter as she turned towards her brother. He smiled. If only he could have that type of relationship with his own apprentice.
The tom smiled at his sister, then bounded out of the warrior's den, scooting past Hyneastrike as the tom made his way out of the den. Padding towards his parents with a side smile, Autumnpaw circled them once before sitting down beside his mother, looking up at the she-cat, then his father, who gave a smirk towards him and ruffled his fur on his head. The apprentice pulled back, wrinkling his nose at the action. Odd...he didn't mind it when Pansyblossom did that....And with that thought, his mind started wandering with what the problem between the two cats ruffling his fur was.
Autumnpaw's teal eyes brightened as he perked up at Pansyblossom's approach. He jumped to his paws, then lowered himself into a half-crouch. "Hell yes! We haven't done that in awhile!" He said excitedly, ignoring the harsh look his father gave him.

~ ° [[ Kimi no chikara ni naritainda ]] ° ~ Pansyblossom ° [[ I want to become your strength ]]° Pansyblossom smiled and crouched, her form much more willowly than that of her half-brother. She seemed almost wraith-like as the ginger she-cat kept her claws sheathed and leapt for Autumnpaw. "Let's practice lunging." She knew the tom was old enough to know techniques and what not, especially since she had been drilling him hard recently, but practice made perfect. She tried to tussle with her half-brother, aiming to pin and kick him with a well-placed tackle. Even in practice, Pansyblossom's sleek ginger fur remained its silky texture, like a fiery valkyrie on the prowl.

cherrysmoke Cherrysmoke returned the affectionate look her mate gave her, her cerulean eyes soft. The reddish brown pelted warrioress laughed as Blizzardhawk ruffled the fur on Autumnpaw's head, not registering her son's annoyance. She shook her head slowly at her son's eagerness to fight. She had to remind herself that he was not a kit anymore. Cherrysmoke blinked at the young tom's strong legs and muscular shoulders. He had grown so much. Cherrysmoke's eyes travelled onto Pansyblossom. Her daughter was much larger and stronger than Autumnpaw. Cherrysmoke knew the warrioress would never deliberately hurt her son, but... "Be careful," she mewed before she could stop herself. The former queen then smiled at her own worries, feeling silly. Cherrysmoke looked up at the bright sun, wondering where Deerpaw and Adderpaw were. Larchpaw was obviously still sleeping, judging by the stony look on Hyenastrike's face.

BLIZZARDHAWK & AUTUMNPAW Autumnpaw's ears flicked up at his mentor's words, a wide grin coming across the cream tabby's face as he jumped up, tail wagging back and forth as he trotted towards his older sister, looking towards his parents before padding towards Pansyblossom. His gaze traveled back towards Cherrysmoke, raising an eyebrow. "Don't worry, Mum. We'll be safe. But you better warn Lavenderlace to be prepared. Pansyblossom might came back damaged" He grinned, then raced off after his older half-sister, skidding to a halt beside her, nodding his head quickly. "Bring it!" The apprentice cried before he side-stepped to the left. Her paws caught him, though, making him tumble over, then bounce back to his paws. It only was a second later that he was pinned to the ground with her paw on his chest. Autumnpaw stuck his tongue out at her. "Cheap shot."
Chuckling lightly, Blizzardhawk shook his head at Autumnpaw's words, turning his attention towards his mate and smiling softly. "You know Pansyblossom's always careful with him." The white tom said quietly, brushing his tail affectonatly over her ear before he yawn and streched out his body, wincing as his lame leg shifted the wrong way. "Remind me to kill the next fox that comes onto the territory. Or at least give the same injury" He muttered, eyes flicking around until he spotted Lavenderlace's den. "I guess it's time to get more poppy seeds" The white tom said, sighing quietly.

cherrysmoke The sturdy warrioress smiled at her son's words. "Watch your back, Pansyblossom!" she chuckled at her older daughter. The she-cat shook her head slowly. Her eyes glittered as Autumnpaw was pinned by his mentor. "You'll have to try harder than that, Autumnpaw," she told him, amusement in her tone. She had seen Pansyblossom fight. Cherrysmoke turned as her mate spoke. "I know, I know," she mewed softly. She knew she needn't worry about her kits as much now that they were apprentices. They had mentors to look after them.
Cherrysmoke looked up at the bright sky, sighing. She remembered how much trouble her kits had inadvertently caused before they were born. Her daughters had been hurt that she had found another mate after the loss of their father Crescentgaze. But of course, it had not been a decision made lightly by Cherrysmoke. Her heart gave a pang as she thought of her lost mate, but it faded quickly. She had Blizzardhawk now.
The she-cat nodded at her mate's words. "Okay," she mewed, licking his cheek. She knew how much Blizzardhawk's disability was hurting him, inside and out. He prided himself on being a warrior, and now his injury was hampering him. Damn that fox. If Blizzardhawk doesn't kill the next one, I will.
