bearkit && ragefire The striped tom-kit stumbled from the nursery, brilliant golden eyes blinking slightly at the sudden brightness. Bearkit yawned, stretching out his paws, and then glanced behind him. Bramblekit hadn't woken up, which was good. It was about time he got out by himself, without her tagging along behind him like a darn shadow. Shaking his coat out, then running his tongue quickly over his chest, the kit wandered away from the entrance of the nursery, tail waving curiously behind him. What was in store for today? Ears flicked, as a bird cried from the surrounding trees, and he breathed in deeply. Oh, how he wished he was an apprentice and could go hunting or exploring. A mischievous look shadowed his face, and the kit wandered ever so closely to the entrance of camp, glancing out. "Walk any closer, and Tawnysky will be on you like a swarm of hornets, young one," came the chuckle of Ragefire, one of the newer warriors of the Clan. Bearkit took a few steps back, turning around to look at the multi-colored warrior. "I highly doubt my mother will notice I'm gone," Bearkit retorted, his golden eyes narrowing at the older tom, claws unsheathing slightly.
Ragefire chuckled, and stretched out his forepaws. "Anger doesn't get you anywhere, Bearkit. Sheathe your claws." Hesitating ever so slightly, Bearkit did as he was told, and the warrior smiled widely. Turning around, Ragefire made his way to the warrior den, slipping in and leaving Bearkit to himself once more. "I don't need some stupid furball telling me what to do," the kit grumbled under his breath, and turned around, looking out the camp entrance once more. His paws shuffled ever so slightly, claws digging into the ground, wanting so badly to go out and explore. But, knowing that he could get into serious trouble by going out, he stayed, his rear planted firmly on the ground. His eyes only wandered to the outside, his tail flicking slowly behind him.

. Widowkit . . Take these memories that are haunting me . 'I wouldn't do that if I were you, even though it would be fun chasing anything in sight and getting lost in your thoughts without the noise.' Dark midnight blue glowed off the back-drop of the clear but cold day, they usually didn't even stand out against his pale sorrel silver coat but they did now. The average sized tom-kit was sitting in the shadows, trying to plan new ideas on how he could make his mother smile at him. Breathing in deep, Widowkit stood and walked over to where Bearkit sat staring outside of the camp. His expression was that of a stone, uninterested and uncaring, no he truly didn't want to save the other kit from trouble but instincts called and his maw opened before he could keep it shut. Now he wasn't in his usual position of keeping quiet, he had spoken out of turn and it made him mentally kick himself. It didn't matter now he had to deal with his mistake and talk, he hoped no one else came out of that nursery.

timekit & jasminekit The morning was crisp and cold, and that was what woke Timekit. The little black she-cat's pastel blue eyes opened wide, and she gave a shudder of cold. The convulsions caused her to get to her paws and stamp around in small circles, her teeth chattering. After a moment, the worst of the cold had been worked from her bones. But her tiredness had gone with it. Timekit sighed. Her brothers and sisters were are still sleeping, it seemed. The slight, ebony-coated kitten pricked up her triangular ears as she heard faint voices. She headed towards them, her path taking her out of the nursery. Timekit's small paws made little noises on the grass as she walked, announcing her presence. She examined the kits present. Bearkit, of Tawnysky's litter - Timekit was fairly close to Bearkit's sister Periwinklekit - and Widowkit. Not her usual choice of company... But if it was the best there was...
As Timekit trotted to the two toms to say hello, a pair of round baby blue eyes appeared in the entrance of the nursery. The eyes belonged to a fluffy-coated ginger tabby kitten, who looked rather nervous and unsure of herself, but curious at the same time. Timekit stopped by Widowkit and Bearkit. "Hi," she mewed easily, looking from one to the other. Jasminekit remained just inside the nursery, wanting company buy uncertain of the three kit's reactions.
