diskko.
A smoky cream-and-brown tom slunk his way up to the big ash-colored rock. The thing reached up majestically, almsot touching the sky. After leaving Serenityclan, Diskko had been staying in only one area of the vast Land of the Loners; but today he decided to take a risk, and wander once again. He dodged his way through undergrowth, past possible menaces that would delay him, and even beyond the couple of stupid twolegs that had wandered too far from their dens.
But finally, he was here. Sabretooth Rock had looked tall from far off, but from the base, it was enormous. The loner had to cran his neck far back to see the top. Diskko make a gash in the rock with his claws, as had others before him. He took in a deep breath. No one had been here for a few days. It was probably safe.
I wonder what it's like from the top, the loner wondered out loud. He circled the rock, until he found a clawhold that was just about his head. Crouching low, he wiggled his haunches and leapt up. He struggled to hold on, but managed to pull himself on to the rock. It was cold under his paws. He lifted his head up and peered around. Already Diskko could see more from this height. The top must be amazing! [/blockquote]

-Night- The three legged loner limped by the towering stone. Many times before he had wanted to find out what it was like on top the cold stone but with only tree legs it would be impossible for him to do something like that. Besides, only tough rogues were seen on top. Anyone else would get attacked and punished, or so Night heard, anyway. So far everything was quiet in the land of the loners. Night spat at the snow that laid around him. He remembered laying in the old fox hole that he lives in and watching the snow fall. Some blew into the den but it never made it to the bottom where he was sleeping. He was there with his friend, Kiyuki, the mute she-cat. He was unsure who was really following who, they just lived in the same den. He has also learned how to talk with her, maybe not completely understanding her, but sometimes he just knew what she was saying.
Suddenly a few pebbles fell on top of his head and he scowled himself for not scenting the area first like he should have. He opened his muzzle and tasted another loners scent above him and realized that it wasn't one of the muscle heads. The tom backed up a few steps so he could view the other cat. "You know, you could get killed for being up their, loner. Or so I've heard, anyway." Night yowled in hopes of seeing the tom fall just for fun. It was hard to find anything amusing and Night was one who loved surprises.
Ooc:// Wow, its been a while since I rped Night xD I need to be more active with him.

diskko.
Diskko heard a voice coming from below. The loner crept towards the edge, and saw a fiesty-looking tom - with three legs! Diskko raised his silken eyebrows, and leaned over a bit. He was saying something about getting killed. Um, hello to you too, He mumbled. Getting killed? What? I can't fight for my life! Then, Diskko's common sense kicked in. The loner was probably trying to scare him. He looked like the kind of cat who would do that. He put on a fierce-looking face that didn't suit him well. Get killed? For being up here? Yeah, right. As if to prove that the other loner was lying, he walked over to the higher rock face, and launched himself upwards. He almost fell back, but managed to pull himself up on the rock face. He was panting heavily. [/blockquote]

-Night- "Your funeral." The tom told him as he shrugged his shoulders. As he sat at the bottom of the rock he opened his muzzle to try and find some scent of fresh-kill but sadly there was none and this snow wasn't going to be going away anytime soon. The toms stomach was already growling in protest and he knew that he might have to go near the twoleg place in order to find a meal. The stinking garbage the twolegs leave out always attract mice or rats no matter what the weather was like. Night looked up the rock again to see how the other loner was doing. "Almost at the top?"

celestial The long haired gray and white she-cat appeared out of nowhere beside Night. "Hey, what's up?" she chirped all perky-like. The loner flashed a wide grin, her pale green eyes sparkling. She looked up Sabretooth Rock, seeing a tomcat climbing. "Hey, what's it like up there?" she called, her voice echoing off the rock. Celestial swished her bottlebrush tail, raising dust from the rocky surface of the earth's crust. She looked at Night, having to crane her neck upward in order to make eye contact. "Hi, my name's Celestial! My brother's dead, what's your name?"[/blockquote]

diskko.
Diskko took a minute to recover from the leap. The breath had been knocked from his chest, and it took a while to come back. It wasn't until he was feeling fine again that he had realized Night had asked him something. Huh? He turned back and looked up at the rock towering above his head. Oh no. He was only half-way. Why am I so stupid sometimes? Why on earth did I want to climb this thing?
Then, a different voice, a feminine one, chirped from below. Diskko leaned over, and spotted a longhaired femme talking to the three-legged one. It's... it's... amazing from up here! Diskko turned his eyes up, and scanned the view. The distant treetops were only a little higher than where he was. He could see for countless fox-lengths around. Everything was beautiful from up here. Diskko felt the breath being knocked from him again. [/blockquote]

-Night- 'My brothers dead, what's your name?' Night looked at the she-cat confusingly as she announced her brother was dead. "Um...er, I'm sorry?" He was unsure of what to really saw because the she-cat didn't seem to be down about it. "Um, my names Night."
The tom sat down on his single hind leg and opened his muzzle to sniff the air again for any kind of prey. Sadly it looked like the snowstorm killed most of it while the rest went into hiding. He knew that he would have to go near the twoleg place to find something to eat.

celestial The young she-cat smiled big up at Diskko. "HI! MY NAME'S CELESTIAL. WHAT'S YOURS?" she yelled up at the tom. Then she turned her attention to Night and looked down at his missing leg. "My best friend has a broken leg but I fixed it up in a cast. Now he just limps a little bit. Originally I was gonna cut it off but he didn't like that idea," she mewed, sitting down next to him. Celestial looked down at her furry paws, thinking about her brother, Thunder. She missed him so much. Then she let her mind wander to Apocalypse. Where was he today?[/blockquote]

calanthe."You're quite the exciteable one, eh, Celeste-who's-brother-is-dead-and-knows-how-to-heal-roken-egs?"
Calanthe chuckled as she climbed out from the rocks near the bottom of Sabretooth Rock. She squinted up at Diskko, a glint of recognization sparking in her mind, but not big enough for her to pursue it any farther than a familiar grunt. Settling herself on a rock, she swept her gaze over the gathering of loners before her. "That's a kittypet story," she meowed loftily to Night, "Although I've seen more than on unfortunate cat who's fallen of of there. You hear that, mister Heights? You might want to get down." She resumed her amused expression, kneading the rock with her paws.
ooc: aah, I've missed my Callie. c:

diskko.
Diskko managed to turn away from the amazing panorama when he heard another voice below. Another she-cat, but this one appeared to be familiar. Ca-ca-calanthe? He struggled to remember the name, but finally got it. He met her besides Acid Stream, before he had traveled to Serenityclan. With all of these cats gathering below, he decided to take the loner's advice. He turned his attention to the precipice before him, and peered below. Oh. That was a long fall. He braced himself, and jumped. He landed on his paws, as any cat would, but his paws were smarting a bit. Ignoring the sensation, he stepped up to the next ledge, and jumped again. One more, and he'd be on the solid ground. He took a running leap and landed next to the group of loners, a grin on his face. Greetings from the top! You really should go up there, the view is absolutely astonishing! [/blockquote]

-Night- The loner flattened his ears at the newest cat that showed up. It was only three cat that were around him but even with that small number he felt crowded, and he hated feeling crowded. His stomach growled once more for food and he gave his chest fur a few licks before standing up. He almost growled at Diskko, who had finally jumped off the rock, when he told them that they should also climb the rock to see the beautiful view from up there. With a missing limb it was impossible for him to even try.
"Its getting too crowded here for my liking." The tom announced as he started heading towards the forest. "Goodbye."
