Muffin dropped the hare and made Cursico stop. She knew better than to continue after a sad cat. Spactre just needed time. "You really are inconsiderate, just because I'm here doesn't mean you can't be nice to Spectre!" She spat and pushed Cursico over. Cursico gave no resistance and allowed himself to fall to the ground. He stared at it like a grumpy child, muttering. "When we see Spectre you will apologise" Muffin commanded and pulled the hare closer. She plucked a flower to the ground and dropped it by Cursico "You will give her this and explain your actions" Muffin grabbed the hare again and waited for Cursico to lead. But Cursico had other things on his mind and complained "I shan't" He sniffed and looked stubbornly up at his sister. Muffin gave to reply but moved closer in an intimidating posture, Cursico was stronger than her, but she could run circles around him with her superior speed. He shook his head, got up, grabbing the flower before trotting after Spectres trail. Muffin silently followed.

[ooc;] She's like an old mother hen! xD [bic;] Spectre continued on her way. She missed her family incredibly. She longed to feel the closeness of kinship once again. She had lost her parents, her siblings, her darling Hawkpaw... She sobbed loudly at the thought of her mate. The tom had been killed. Afterward, she had left the northlands. GlacierClab had not want her anymore. She spotted the cave in the distance, and dashed inside. The white cat curled in her nest, muzzle on her paws. She would have to apologize to Cursic, she realised. It wasn't his fault.

Cursico saw the cave in front and took a suddering breath. "Do I have to do this?" He asked through the rose. Muffin nodded in answer. Cursico walked into the cave, Muffin dropped the hare just outside and trotted to the long dead deer and decided to eat that. Cursico looked at spectre and dropped the flower on her head (Not the best place to put it) "I'm sorry about earlier, but in front of my sister it was embarassing" He said honestly, not even thinking to twist his words.

Spectre shook the rose off her head, looking disgruntled. "It's okay," she muttered. "I over reacted." The white cat grinned reluctantly. "Your hopeless at apologies, by the way. Fancy dropping the rose on my head!" She swatted the tom's ear playfully.

Cursico shook his head. "Well... Be glad I could think of that" He grinned and returned her batt. He heard the sound of eating outside and knew his sister had found the deer. "And roses are nice wherever they are" He chuckled lowering his front body and raising his rump in a playful gesture.

Spectre breathed out loudly in a contemptuous gesture. She pounced on Cursico, rolling over and over with him. She pummeled his shoulders lightly with sheathed white paws. She had never felt so happy since playing with her brother and sister. For once the memory of thm did not send her into a black mood; she was having too much fun. She was glad she had finally found a companion and had got over her loneliness. She had a friend now, a friend she could depend on.

Cursico laughed and touched his head to Spectres, pretending to headbutt her. His purrs grew louder as she batted him. He held the sides of her face with his paws and nipped her ears.

Spectre smiled and wriggled free. She lay there in the dust, panting, for a moment or two. She was aware of hunger gnawing at her belly, anf a little pain in her torn flanks. At least it had lessened; they were healing well. Getting to her paws, Spectre shook dust and moss from her white coat, giving her shoulder a couple of quick licks. She then padded past Cursico, out of the cave, flicking the tom's nose with her long, soft tail as she passed. She nodded to Muffin on her way past, then streaked into the woods. She quickly caught a mouse and chafinch, and brought them back for the pile. She kept the mouse and lay beside Muffin, chewing slowly.

Cursico sneezed as the trail dragged across his nose. He wrinkled it. He padded behind then went to join his sister at the deer. Muffin was happily tearing into the large animal, quite happy despite its age. The two ate silently and only glanced and smiled when Spectre returned. Their eating habits were very similar as they ate their food in ther jerky cat way.

Spectre finished her mouse in a couple more bites. The white loner licked her muzzle clean, then hastily buried the bones. She stretched her long limbs, then yawned. "I'm going to sleep," she told the siblings. "I'm tired. I think my wounds will be better tomorrow. Then I'll get you!" she hissed playfully at Cursico, zswatting him with a paw. She slipped into the cave, curling up on the soft nest. She was soon asleep, her mind swimming with thoughts of her family.

The two loners had nodded when Spectre said words, they weren't really lisening. They too would retire. Although Cursico was sad to find his sister would leave. 'Too many places to explore to stay in one' She had answered when he asked why. But a few comforting words later made Cursico fine about it. Now the cats were sitting outside, watching the sun dip over the horizon, their ginger fur glowed like fire and the two cats closed their eyes.

The sun had barely risen when Spectre opened her eyes. They're icy blue depths were contented. She had enjoyed yestarday, despite her tiny fall out with Cursico. She was glad that she had made a few friends in this strange new world, and hoped the Cursico would stay longer. She was getting used to his cheeky comments and unusaul hunting skills now, so that they seemed almost normal to her. The white loner got slowly to her paws, shaking her pelt and blinking. Sunlight began to spill out of the light blue sky to bring on morning. Spectre yawned, showing sharp white fangs, then sat and began to groom herself. By the time she had finished, the sun rode high in the cloud filled sky. Spectre padded delicately from the cave, sitting outside on the soft grass. Her eyes were fixed on the sky, and she seemed deep in thought.

Muffin was already awake when Spectre woke. She had eaten her fill and ran off to have a drink. She sat next to her brother and closed her eyes again, resting them against the soft light. Her tail flicked side to side easily. She listened to the pad of Spectre, although she stayed still and pretended not to notice until the cat had gone by before rising and following. Cursico remained asleep, snoring gently. Muffin stood silently behind Spectre, the cat seemed distracted.

Spectre felt fur brush her's and glanced at Muffin. Blinking, she shook herself. "Good morning," the white cat mewed, getting to her paws. She stretched each long limb carefully, he tail swinging to and fro. Spectre looked up at the sun. "Should we wake sleepyhead," she mewed to Muffin. "Or go hunting without him? We need some more fresh kill."

Muffin laughed. "As much as I like annoying by half-witted brother, I must go" She looked at Spectre, hoping she wouldn't take offense "I value my freedom more than anything and must explore all the places" She waited as if waiting to be dismissed.

Spectre nodded. She wasn't surprised. Muffin had that look about her; a look that said 'wanderer'. "Sure," Spectre mewed. "Feel free to come and visit whenever you want. I'm not sure Cursico will still be here, though." Spectre found herself hoping he would be. She had grown used to his company, and hated the thought of being alone again. "I'll see you."

Muffin gave a little bow, looked to where her brother slept before running off. Her ginger tail was last to be seen disappearing in the woods. Then Muffin was gone. Cursico remained sleeping, curled up in a warmth saving ball with his tail over his wet nose.

Spectre decided to let her friend sleep. The lean white she-cat looked at Cursico's sleeping ginger and white body, before getting to her paws. She shook her coat, then padded in the directio of the clump of trees. The white loner peered slowly from side to side, her icy blue eyes taking in every detail. Her nose picked up the scent of a squirrel, high in the branches of a towering oak. A rustle in the holly bushes told her that a mouse was nearby. In the back of her mind she could sense the warm blood-beat of a thrush. Spectre turned, poking her head between two tall spruce trees. She spotted the thrush, ruffling its light grey plumage as it tucked into a dirty pink worm it had unearthed. Spectre crept forwards, unsheathing her claws. The thrush suspected nothing, until Spectre leaot. She pinned the bird to the forest floor, before sinking her fangs into its neck and breaking it. Spectre buried the fresh kill, and drew in the forest scents again. Mouse. But this time it was closer. She spotted the grey brown creature scuffling in the leaf litter, and in a whirl of speed and a flash of claws, had it. Spectre carried both her catches back to her gave, feeling weighed down by the limp bodies. The white loner dropped them on the fresh kill pile then sat, waiting for Cursico to awaken.

Cursico's eyes opened, slowly before squinting shut at the light. How long was I sleeping? Cursico dragged himself to his feet and looked around. He wasn't surprised that Muffin was gone, he never expected her to stay. Cursico padded over to Spectre yawning and stretching. He slumped down next to the white cat and elegantly groomed his dirty fur until it was clean again.

Spectre watched Cursico as he washed. She pushed the thrush towards him. "Here," she mewed. "Eat." The she-cat selected a sparrow herself and sat plucking out he dark, glossy feathers. She then began to eat the bird. Soon it was gone. The white loner licked her mouth. "I'm going to explore the rest of the this forest today," she mewed, getting to her paws and stretching each limb. "Want to come?"

Cursico yawned sleepily and stared at the offered thrush. Its name has two meanings, I'd hate to have a double name. Cursico thought. He yawned again, the bird didn't really intrest his sleepy stomch that lay heavy with deer. The deer now only a few scraps of flesh and a pile of bones. Fat kitties. He shook his head "No thanks, I'm not hungry" He said about the bird. He studied its body with indifference, macanicly noting its rumpled feathers and blood soaked corpse. Cursico looked around, making sure there were no immediate dangers. He found none, but that wasn't a set judgement, the mind could easily be tricked, a simple matter really. He smiled when he heard Spectres next offer. "I'd love to go exploring, haven't done much but hunt and lay around these past few days" His flashing teeth and sparkling eyes told her it was a great idea. His slumped figure rose, the last dredges of sleep holding him down. He stretched the whole of his body to an almost impossible length and gave himself a good shake. His newly cleaned pelt still shining with the moisture of his tongue. The rest of the forest? He wondered idily, pushing the thrush towards the cave where it should be safe.

Spectre shrugged. "Okay," she mewed. The white cat grinned, showing her sharp fangs. "Good. Let's go then, shall we?" Spectre darted away, her tail streaming out behind her. She called over her shoulder, before disappearing into the forest.

I hate it when you runfast Cursico thought. Rolling his eyes into his sockets he lumbered after the sleek white cat. Exploring was so fun, but he didn't love it as much as his sister that was for sure. He approached the trees. His once clean paws dirty once more. "Why do I bother?" He muttered. Although if he stopped cleaning he'd look a lot worse. Anyway, he hadn't broken any mirrors yet... Though there was a first time for everything. He entered to forest, instantly hidden from the sun and its rays. His teeth bared in smile. A strange idea popping into his head. He looked around and saw Spectre, he ran to her, panting slightly. "Runfast" He grinned and grabbed Spectres tail in his jaws so she wouldn't go bounding off again. A bit like a baby rat holding onto its mother so it won't get lost, just with a bunch of cats. Although Cursico barely cared about getting lost, how could you be lost when you where still there? Craziness.

Spectre felt teeth in her tail fur, and twisted around, ice blue eyes filled with battle fire. This dissolved into humour as she recognized the ginger and white cat gripping her tail. She ripped it free, holding it high in the air. "Your like an overgrown kit!" she purred in amusement, swatting at Cursico's ear with one snowy paw. The loner halted, suddenly serious again, as a strange scent crept into her nostrils. She ventured forward hesitantly, but her heart began to beat faster, like the wings of a tiny bird as it learnt to fly. Spectre opened her mouth, drawing in the scents. "A clan lives here!" she mewed in awe, eyes shining.

"Impossible" Cursico laughed, spitting on the floor. He looked into her eyes, wondering why she was in awe. It was only a clan! Nothing special, a group of cats that stayed together with wierd names. But Cursico wasn't really a normal name. Cursico nudged Spectre "Whats so interesting about a clan? They're everywhere" He mewed, gently grabbing her scruff and lifting her off the ground like a kitten. "Now you're the overgrown kit!" The chortled, careful he didn't pierce any of her skin in talking. That wouldn't be so fun. Unless you were crazy, but he wasn't, perhaps excentric but not crazy. Cursico sniffed the air. there was a strange smell in the air, but he wasn't sure how clans were supposed to smell so it meant nothing to him.

Spectre speaked slightly as Cursico lifted her off the earth. She swatted at him with a white paw, but as he put her down again, she cast him a slightly hurt expression. "Surely you remember?" she mewed softly. "In the ice lands I lived in a clan. But it's the past, I guess." The last words she added bitterly, rememebering when she had returned to her clan after being kidnapped to find all of her beloved family and friends dead.

Cursico chuckled. "That just makes it all the more tempting" He drawled. "Feel like taking a risk?" Cursico asked, fluffing himself up. He'd never found a reason to avoid clanlings, they weren't as vicious as everyone said, but perhaps someday he'd be proved wrong.

Spectre thought for a moment. The offer was tempting. She missed the adrenaline of being in a clan, and messing around with her friends. Suddenly a smile spread across her face. "Oh, alright then," she smiled. The white she-cat gave another cautious sniff, then padded on into SerenityClan territory.
