. Emeraldpaw . . To hell with my pride let it fall like rain tonight I wanna cry . Feeling guilty about Stormstar's death hadn't helped her one bit but to put weight on the shoulders of her clan-mates, she had to stay strong and practicing with the other medicine cats had helped her more. She knew more then before and she couldn't wait to tell Fadedstar about her progress in her healings, the dark brown tabby she-cat stared out into the rain. She sat in the dry parts of the entrance of her den feeling the most confident she has been in over a while. She knew that she was doing Dragonflydance and Eaglefeather proud. Sighing with happiness Emeraldpaw closed her wise emerald green eyes, they hadn't been glassy with worry or helplessness in a while which made others smile at her again. 'Ohh, StarClan, how you've helped me greatly! Thank you for everything!' Her sweet melodious voice only whispered softly to the stars as StarClan washed away the horrid snow. Every medicine cat knew that it was their ancestors helping them through the hard times of the cold snowstorm, it was that obvious.

.Lambpaw. Small, wet, and hungry once again. She walked through the clan entrance, the rain started to come down harder every step the apprentice took. It made her fur cling to her skin, making her feel like she was wearing a heavy coat of something. Lambpaw still hadn't recovered from her time with her parents. Her bones ached like nothing she has ever felt before. Her legs were getting more muscle on them which was good, but they were still horribly bad. When Lambpaw got through the entrance the rain subsided a little bit, making Lambpaw's fur not be so sticky to her skin. She could also walk faster now that the rain wasn't soaking her fur as much. Her blue eyes scanned the camp, everything dead since it was dark. Lambpaw could just faintly hear the breathing of cats deep into their sleep. Her head snapped toward the medicine cat's den when she saw movement out of the corner of her eye. She was kind of hoping no one would be up this late, mainly because ever since the snow was being washed away she never blened in. Apprentices weren't even supposed to be out in the territory by themselfs really. Well thats great! i get to explain myself to a cat. The reason why I'n out. The reason why I need time away from cats to think. I hope to my life that they already know I leave camp to get away and think about everything. Her mind ran wildly with lies that she could make up if this cat didn't know her well enough.
Lambpaw stumbbled over to the other cat, and when she got close enough she smelt so many different types of herbs. Emeraldpaw. 'Hey Emeraldpaw.' Lambpaw's voice got really quiet, since she didn't really know their medicine cat to well. She had only been in there twice for check ups to see how she was doing about her weight problem. That reminded her how hungry she really was. Oh well stomach. You will have to live through a conversation. Thats so horrible. Lambpaw liked talking to herself through her thoughts. It made her feel not so alone in the world. 'How are you tonight?' She didn't even think about asking why the medicine cat was out. She knew that the death of Emeraldpaw's mentor has been slowly tearing the apprentice ((now ?almost? meddie cat)) up inside.[/blockquote][/sup]

. Emeraldpaw . . To hell with my pride let it fall like rain tonight I wanna cry . Emeraldpaw took a moment from her happy thoughts when she noticed movement from across the dark camp clearing, she sighed in relief when she noticed the bony frame of Lambpaw. The apprentice was just a couple moons younger then Emeraldpaw but the warriors apprentice looked like she wasn't close to warriorship. The dark brown tabby she-cat got to her paws as the thin fae came over to her, the medicine cat apprentice had some let over prey left that she slid over to the snowy white she-cat. If Emeraldpaw had declined Dragonflydance's offer she would've been made a warrior already. Now she's fourteen moons old, way past the warriorhood date. She stared at Lambpaw thoughtfully, 'Good evening, Lambpaw, I'm doing fine tonight. May I ask how your night of wonderings have been going? Or would you rather just eat?' Emeraldpaw's voice was filled with amusement as she mentioned Lambpaw's forest walks. Her bright green eyes shone through the darkness as she looked into the white fae's powdery blue eyes. 'Don't worry I won't tell, as long as you start eating more,' She remembered Dragonflydance always rambling about how Lambpaw needed to eat more, casting a friendly smile at the apprentice. If she could of been more hyper and bouncy and plump she would of reminded Emeraldpaw of her brothers missing crush, Snowpaw.

.Lambpaw. Lambpaw looked at the prey that was slid over to her. Her blue eyes lingered there for a minute then she looked up at the she-cat in front of her. 'Well I'm glad you are fine.' She held back a sigh of relife. Thinking that it was a good thing that the Medicine cat knew about her nightly wanderings, so she wouldn't have to explain herself again. She glanced down at the prey again, then ignored it. 'They have been interesting, and painful.' She looked up at Emeraldpaw sort of amazed. In all of her past she could never remember any cat using food as a threat to her. She nodded her head and bent it down to sniff at the prey. Trying not to move away she took a small bite and swallowed it with a lil chewing, but the piece was very small. Lambpaw looked back up, making her powder-blue eyes meet Emeraldpaw's bright green ones. Though her gaze didn't linger there for longer then a couple seconds she spoke again, suprised that she had tooken a step to start this conversation. 'How are all the sick cats doing since the snowstorm has gone away?' There wasn't much to talk about, since Lambpaw didn't believe fully in Starclan, and she wasn't a big fan of all the cats of the clan for it.[/blockquote][/sup]

. Emeraldpaw . . To hell with my pride let it fall like rain tonight I wanna cry . Emeraldpaw looked curiously at Lambpaw, she had heard a lot of things about this fae and most of them weren't the very words that you'd be proud of. She didn't see any of that right now, the only bad attitude that she saw was the stubbornness that concealed a lot of cats hearts. Even the mostly calm Emeraldpaw was stubborn. Her green eyes flashed with amusement that the white she-cat tried to make conversation, it was quite obvious that she was trying to. 'Their getting better, but it will probably be some time before their all back to their normal selves. That was nice of you to ask,' The dark brown tabby she-cat sat down directly opposite of Lambpaw as she took a tiny bite. Emeraldpaw sighed as she stared out into the clearing again, her green eyes troubled now.

.Lambpaw. .:. Though i die to know you love me, I'm all alone .:.
Lambpaw took another small bite of the prey. It tasted weird to her, even though she had ate more then this at one point of her life, she just couldn't remember when. It had to have been some time before her father took her life into his horrible hands. Lambpaw's mind was somewhere else. Somewhere trying to escape the thoughts that just deicied to enter her head. 'It's good that they are getting better, it's such a shame that we had to loose cats to the snow.' Lambpaw flinched when Emeraldpaw sighed. Since her head was with her old life she was expecting a claw to be racked across her face. When the trouble looked crossed the she-cats face she flinched again. 'W-w-hat-s-s the ma-a-ter?' Lmabpaw studdered out of fright. Even though physically she knew she was away from her horrible past, but mentally she was unstable. Since she had started the thoughts again of when she was littler, she remembered every scratch, ever night without food. She shivered trying to bring herself back from those thoughts, trying to remind herself that Emeraldpaw wouldn't hurt her. 'You stupid cat! You do everything wrong!' The voice echoed in her head. She was having a mental break down inside. Not that Emeraldpaw could see any sign of it. After what seemed like hours (which was actually a couple seconds) She shook herself from the memories, but she was still freaked out. Thinking that Emeraldpaw was going to hit her, or maybe even give her one more blow to the head. Making it the last of her life. [/blockquote][/sup]

. Emeraldpaw . . As I burn another page, as I look the other way . Emeraldpaw looked back at Lambpaw to catch her eat another small piece of her dinner, her emerald green eyes glowed in satisfaction as she watched this. Her white paws kneaded the ground in a cheerful state, her moment of troubled worries vanished to the back of her mind to look over later. Her cheerful mood immediately turned to concern and seriousness as Lambpaw seemed to be struggling with something inside of her. Emeraldpaw's smile had turned into a straight tight line of concern as the white apprentice spoke, 'I would like to ask you the same thing... But I'm afraid to intrude on personal ground, I know this is no injury caused by strikes and blows. Possibly it could be a mental injury...' After a while the medicine cat apprentice started to talk to herself before returning from her state of worried bantering. 'You can tell me anything, you know, I won't tell Fadedstar unless it's absolutely necessary.' The wise stern tone she took with the thin apprentice surprised her, she had sounded older and more responsible then she had ever before. Recovering from her shock the dark tabby continued to stare at Lambpaw with the sense of trust and understanding even if she didn't know what the she-cat was going to say.

.Lambpaw. .:. Though i die to know you love me, I'm all alone .:.
Lambpaw looked up at the medicine cat apprentice again. 'Well...... It wouldn't be to personal to ask...' but the she-cat stopped. She couldn't beileve that she would put all her trust in someone loyal to a clan that doesn't even exist, or so Lambpaw thought. She looked down at the prey one more time, this time not taking a bite, but pushing it away in thought. 'I guess that would be a good guess... I never thought about my parents giving me a mental problem by hitting me in the head to many times.' For a second the she cat was just thinking out loud, until of course she realized that she was speaking. Then she looked up and threw her head to the side confused. 'Would you really keep my past away from Fadedstar? I-i mean.... aren't you supposed to tell her things.... that would probably make me soud like some piece of worthless trash that shouldn't be in your clan?' Lambpaw scowled at herself. Why can't you just be nice? Sure you don't know Emeraldpaw so well... but she does seem nice. I could bet every whisker that she would keep her promis and not tell Fadedstar. This time when Lambpaw was confused, it wasn't because of the she-cat sitting in front of her. It was her thoughts. Why would she be talking to herself as if she was another person? OCC// GAH!!!!! Sorreh I haven't been on =/ I've been busy doing homework and that stupid CBA thingy-ma-bober lol =p[/sup][/blockquote]

. Emeraldpaw . . In the arms of an angel, fly away from here . Emeraldpaw smiled thoughtfully at the bony white apprentice as she spoke, the dark tabby she-cat analyzed how Lambpaw spoke and how she acted when she spoke. A frown almost creased the pretty medicine cats maw when she watched Lambpaw push away the rabbit, sighing the dark tabby got to her white paws and moved closer to the white fae but not enough to make her feel uncomfortable. 'Now, Lambpaw, Fadedstar has got more important things to do then worry about. She has more on her mind then anyone can think, I'm not going to bother her about something I can handle. And don't speak about yourself that way! It doesn't help... trust me it doesn't help...' Emeraldpaw stared intensely at the white apprentice with cool bright green eyes. She could tell that something was going on in the other female's head but it wasn't physical, no this was something that has been there for a while. Curiosity and suspicion ebbed it's way into the medicine cats head though not showing in her eyes, she needed to find out what was wrong with Lambpaw even if the fae didn't like it. 'Tell me about yourself, Lambpaw, it's fascinating.' The dark tabby fae was telling the truth even though she was trying to figure out a problem, she was fascinated in how the skinny white apprentice acted.
