[ [ Large shaggy brown and white-haired tom with brown eyes.

[ [ You might think this guy is an elder when you first lay eyes on him. He's a big tom, yes, but he slouches a bit and has quite a bit of gray on him from stress. He walks kind of woodenly too but if you managed to get his gaze affixed on you, you'll see that his mind is younger than ever. Whirlwind is a shaggy-haired tom so he's bigger than most, especially if he's startled or angry. He's also quite heavy so don't think you can tackle him and pin him easily. If he braces himself, it's like hitting a steel-reinforced brick wall.
Starting from a maroon-colored nose, Whirlwind has somewhat of a leonine face. Brimming in long shaggy hair, this tabby-patterned tomcat is gray, white, and brown all around. He has a large muzzle filled with dangerous long teeth. Lengthy whiskers curl out from his snout, giving him an elegant moustache of sorts. Above this are his oddly-colored eyes. If you're just glancing by, they look brown. However, put these things up to light and you see the mix of a bunch of colors. Dark brown is the outside circle, then amber shot with threads of bright yellow. He actually has some green flecks around his pupil! Above his eyes is that scar from the fox mentioned in his history.
Ears tufted like a lynx's give Whirlwind the sense of hearing, which he uses to track down his enemies and prey. From here on out begins this guy's body, a majestic thing. His hair isn't the cleanest thing, as he's always getting leaves and whatnot caught in it. His body stands on four legs, which end in shaggy paws, and ends in a long brush tail.

[ [ Whirlwind is the quietest. Tigerpelt is the loudest. Shadowburst can go either or, depending on his mood. If he is given an order, he accepts it with a nod or a simple "Yes sir" or "Yes ma'am". He hates raising his voice, and he hates fighting with another cat, especially over simple things. Most can go about fifteen minutes without realizing Whirlwind in on a patrol with them, as he is a boring conversationalist and would rather sit in silence than speak. He is also a terrible public speaker, stumbling over his words when confronted with a large group of cats (like at a Gathering or at a Clan Meeting) and he doesn't really know how to inspire others. He gets nervous easily, though doesn't readily show it.
Though he might embarrass himself in public, Whirlwind is generally liked and respected by most of the Clan. He is a warrior, after all, and has fought in every battle SerenityClan's been in since he got his warrior name. He tries to treat others with respect and can get a bit irritated when they don't return the favor. He hates being stuck in impossible situations and being in the middle of other cats' problems. He'd rather not give his advice (he can be bluntly honest and most cats take his words and run with them).
He's not much for games, feeling somewhat awkward around kits. However, he seems to be quite a target, as he is big and fluffy.
He is an honest soul and a loyal warrior, willing to answer any question given to him. He's a bit edgy around other cats, especially apprentices. Sagepaw hated him and walked out on him, making him feel like a worthless mentor. Craneflight ended up becoming this stalker fiend who was obsessed with him, which made him feel like he could do nothing right whatsoever.

[ [ Alliumhope had been her name. Whirlwind had been an apprentice when they finally let him know the history of his parents. She was beautiful, they said, making flowers burst into bloom wherever she went. An exaggeration, yes, but you get the point. Alliumhope wasn't of SerenityClan. A tragedy brought her here.
Her Clan was called GhostClan and they lived up in the cold northern steppes alongside MistClan, AloeClan, and RidgeClan. She had fallen in love with a GhostClan tom named Dogfang, who loved her very much. They were such a darling couple. He got her food whenever he was out, nestled against her whenever she was cold, and was the happiest tom alive when Alliumhope told him she was pregnant with his kits. However, there was another. Risingwinds was GhostClan's deputy and he was in love with Alliumhope. He constantly contested Dogfang for her, as it was legal to do. In those Clans, one may fight another tom for his mate. Dogfang obviously wasn't strong enough to keep defeating Risingwinds (he had Luck on his side for the most part in the earlier fights) and the deputy ended up defeating the poor tom, then exiling him so that he'd never interfere again. Alliumhope was heartbroken and refused to listen to Risingwinds' declarations of love for her.
Risingwinds ended up becoming Leader a month later, as Risingstar, where he ordered Alliumhope to be the mother of his children. Alliumhope did not come out of the nursery. Later that night, Dogfang came back to camp. He snuck into the nursery and told her that he had found another Clan where Alliumhope could be safe without Risingstar's tyranny. The other queens decided to help, as Dogfang had been a good warrior. While they kept Risingstar distracted, Dogfang managed to dig a hole for his mate to crawl out of the nursery. They filled it up so that raccoons and other animals wouldn't sneak in, then the pregnant she-cat and her love ran off into the night. When Risingstar found out, he was furious but his search party warriors let Dogfang escape. The two ended up on SerenityClan territory, meeting up with Dogfang's newfound friends, Martenpelt and Seawish. They were glad to see their friend return with the heavily-pregnant queen. Reflectstar accepted Alliumhope into the Clan, and the next morning, she gave birth to three wonderful tomkits: Whirlkit, Shadowkit, and Tigerkit. However, she also died from the exertion. Dogfang was devastated. Even though he had his kits there and he had rescued his love from evil, Dogfang felt like he had nothing else in the world to live for. The broken tom threw himself into the lake.
Martenpelt and Seawish decided to adopt the three toms into their family. Whirlkit was quickly established as the leader of the three, while Shadowkit and Tigerkit were his two "bodyguards". Not like he needed them, he was just as big as his two brothers. When he turned into an apprentice, Martenpelt finally told the three boys the truth. They were not their parents. He related how he and his mate Seawish had befriended Dogfang when he had been exiled from GhostClan, how Dogfang was so adamant about rescuing their mother Alliumhope, how she was so brave but her body wasn't up for the grueling exhausting run from the North while pregnant. The revelations didn't change how Whirlpaw, Shadowpaw, and Tigerpaw felt about their adoptive parents. In fact, they were grateful that they had been kind enough to take them in after their parents died. Training with Martenpelt continued on as usual. The three boys became warriors at 12 moons: Whirlwind, Shadowburst, and Tigerpelt.
Whirlwind's first test of maturity was at 15 moons. He was placed on a scouting party with three other warriors to rout out a fox from the territory. The mission overall was a success; Whirlwind got his first scar, a sort of jagged mark across his forehead.
At 24 moons, he was given his first apprentice, named Sagepaw. The two did not get along whatsoever, as Sagepaw was very rude and disrespectful toward everyone. The two gotten into so many fights that Sagepaw actually got up and left camp, never to be seen again. After that, he refused an apprentice for a long time but he met a she-cat named Cranepaw. She was a bullied she-cat, a bit on the thin side, clingy. He was her only hope, as she wasn't on good terms with her parents. Whirlwind helped her stand up for herself, along with her apprenticeship training. It got to the point where Cranepaw became obsessed with him. She would follow him around everywhere, doing anything just to see him or get him to notice her. It got worse when she was a warrior, as she moved her bed next to his and managed to get herself on every single patrol that he was going on. She'd be furious if he managed to escape her clutches in some fashion. When he finally came up and told her off, she had a hissy fit and started crying, running out of camp. When he followed her to the Monstertrail all the way on MoonClan territory, she blurted out that she was pregnant with his kits, which was a lie since he had never done anything with her. She kept interrupting him whenever he tried to speak, which eventually cost her her life, as he had tried to warn her about a Monster that was speeding along. Whirlwind came home empty-pawed, only telling a few about what had happened to Craneflight. Most said 'good riddance' as she was a nuisance to just about everyone.
Many believed that Whirlwind would become the next deputy when Clearstar took Jasminestar's place, but this was not true, as she chose Flarewind instead, a younger tom. He liked him, actually, and thought him to be a good choice for deputy.
