ooc|| for kuri with cascaderain.Creekpaw we can pop bottles all night and baby you can have whatever you like Yawning, the silver and grey apprentice padded down towards the lake. His dark paws thudded against the ground with each step, and the pointed tom opened his mouth in a yawn. His small pink tongue escaped and wavered in the cool morning air. Sighing, the siamese licked his shoulder. It was cold this morning, and fog still reigned over the silent dawn. Creekpaw had escaped the camp early, planning to go and hunt. But the tom's paws had carried him towards the lake. He itched to hunt for fish, but the tom was young and certaintly not a very good fisher. So he contented himself with perching on the rocks by the lake and staring into the clear depths.
Behind him, a robin woke. It called loudly, waking the area. Startled, Creekpaw let out a gasp and pitched forwards. His paws hit the water with a resounding splash, and Creekpaw was next. Thank StarClan his fur was short. That was the tom's thought as he was plunged into the icy cold water. "At least Cascaderain isn't here to see me," Creekpaw mewed aloud, taking in a gulp of cold water as he did so. But as usual, the chubby tom's words held a bit of irony as he paddled back towards the shore. Feeling his paws connect with rocks beneath his paws, Creekpaw looked up. [/blockquote]

cascaderain.A pointless melody trilled through the forest as Cascaderain walked -- err, make that skipped -- along, her bright blue eyes happy and carefree, humming a tune that she just made up as she went. She found herself walking towards Eclipse Lake, and she smiled, because she trusted her paws to bring her somewhere interesting today. The she-cat padded through the trees and looked around, but the humming stopped as she saw who was there at the lake. And he was all wet, too! She ran towards Creekpaw without bothering to say hello and tackled him to the ground, looking the siamese right in the eye.
"Whadda ya think you're doin', Creekpaw? Did'ya fall in? Did'ya?" she jumped off him, letting him free, tipping her head to the side questioningly. "You're all wet! That's, like, not good. You should be not wet, y'know!" she smiled at him and laughed, pressing her pelt against his to try and soak up some of the water.
ooc: Sorry for the bit of powerplaying there D:

Creekpaw we can pop bottles all night and baby you can whatever you like Ironic, certaintly. But bad? No, no. It wasn't bad at all, Creekpaw thought as he saw who was running through the woods to reach him. The pointed tom prepared to mew a greeting, Creekpaw wracking his broad head trying to think of something witty to say. The tom realized that he was soaking, and he tried to hide it by shaking himself out like a dog and giving himself a couple of good licks. Maybe Cascaderain wouldn't notice. Yeah, right the tom told himself as he watched her come even closer. Thinking she was going to slow down and not completely tackle him, Creekpaw let his defenses drop. "Hey, Cascaderain! Out for a hunt this early?"
His words had no effect as the slender white she-cat hit him at full speed. Creekpaw was pushed to the ground, and her on top. For a moment, it felt like old times when they would just play out in the meadows away from the scrutinizing eyes of the warriors. But then the silver tom realized that Cascaderain was a warrior. He sighed, letting himself go limp under her. When she leapt off of him, he jumped up. She pressed her pelt against his and Creekpaw shivered. Then her warmth set in, and the tom broke into a purr. He licked her ear in a friendly gesture before sitting back, annoyed that the early fog would dampen his fur even more. "No, I just decided to go for a swim. The weather's lovely," the tom mewed, but there was no sarcasm in his voice. Only the twitch of his whiskers and the amused sparkle in his eyes showed that the tom was messing around with her.
"So what's up?" [/blockquote]

cascaderain. The pure white she-cat laughed, sitting down as Creekpaw did. Cascaderain smiled at him, not that she wasn't often smiling at the world in general (she usually was smiling for no reason at all), but when she smiled at someone it was different. It was just for them, all for them, a special little thing. She rolled her eyes at his question, still grinning. "Yeah, well, not much, normal warrior stuff, y'know? Like hunting, and patrolling, and fighting, and hunting, and..." she listed off all the things she could think of, often saying the same thing twice. But she didn't bother to correct herself, because she knew that Creekpaw wouldn't mind. She liked that about him: where everyone else got annoyed, he would just smile and nod and listen some more. He made her feel like she was worth listening to.
"Awwwh, Creeeekpawwwww." she whined suddenly, slumping onto her belly, letting her paws slide out in front of her. "I wish you were a warrior, too. I wanna have all this fun with you, 'cause my siblings... well, they dun' like t'listen to me. No fun." she smiled up at the tom, her chin resting on the ground.

Creekpaw we can pop bottles all night and baby you can whatever you like Creekpaw watched as she sat down, a cheerful expression on his face. His tail curled neatly around his paws as he waited for her to talk. Even though Cascaderain was a warrior now, Creekpaw still felt like he could play with her. Of course it felt slightly awkward with their age differences accentuated, but whatever. Creekpaw could love with that. Cascaderain opened her mouth, and Creekpaw braced himself for the torrent of words that gushed from her mouth. The tom smiled, nodded and continued to listen. As per usual. But Creekpaw really didn't mind listening to her talk. She was beautiful when she talked. Her eyes sparkled and her whiskers twitched. Her paws scraped the ground and the wind whistled through her fur. Cascaderain was amazing. So Creekpaw smiled and nodded, eyes bright, as his eyes stayed trained on the joy plain on her face.
"Naw, I'd much rather be an apprentice," lied the silver siamese in an attempt to make her feel better. "All that warrior work sounds boring. Boring and repetitive. You don't get any breaks to curl up by the elders and to listen to the stories. They told this really good one the other day, about Fernpelt when she was a young kit." Creekpaw realized he was rambling almost as much as she usually did (the tom reasoned he was more interesting to listen to) and clamped up with an apologetic blink. "Having fun as a warrior?" cascaderain.Cascaderain sighed nostalgically as Creekpaw mentioned the elder's stories. "Yeah! I want to go listen to stories, too. But it'd be weird, 'cause the elders would all say 'you're too old for stories, Cascaderain,' or, 'you have stuff to do, don't you, Cascaderain?'. But what if I just wanna go listen to one teensy-weensy itsy-bitsy little story?" Now she sighed in frustration, crushing blades of grass beneath her forepaws bitterly as she thought about Creekpaw's words.
When the siamese asked her how warriorhood was, however, her expression changed. She laughed and stood up, gently whacking Creekpaw with her white paw. "Silly, silly Creekpaw! Were you not listenin' or somethin'? 'Cause I was just sayin' how boring being a warrior is, and then you were all like 'so are you having fun?' But no, I'm not havin' fun." She she-cat looked Creekpaw in the eye now, sitting down so she could face him and not look up at him or down at him. "But y'know what, Creekpaw? I've been havin' more fun with you than with anyone else. 'Cause to everyone else, I'm just annoyin'. But even if I do talk lots and lots, I got some important stuff to say!" The white fae watched him intensely, wondering if he would agree.

Creekpaw we can pop bottles all night and baby you can have whatever you like Creekpaw looked up as rays of sunlight pierced the fog. He sighed in content, the rays warming his wet body. The tom licked his muzzle before yawning and revealing small white teeth. He watched Cascaderain with a sparkle in his eye as she went from being sad to cheerful. He flicked her lightly with his tail, grinning as he did so. There was just something so amusing about this she-cat that Creekpaw couldn't control his amusement. He was embarressed when she was, happy when she was, sad when she was. She was like an anchor for him. Or maybe it was the other way around. The silver pointed was her anchor. He let out a deep purr.
"Just 'cause it's sometimes boring doesn' mean it won't be fun. You'll get to slash and claw at all those other Clan cats and fight against the other warriors. Y'know, the famous ones. One day you'll be fighting against deputies! I wish I was a warrior!" Creekpaw purred dreamily. He wasn't that good a fighter, but the thought of going head to head with a famous warrior was one that brought flutters to his heart. Then he sobered, and a thought came to him. Creekpaw looked down, claws digging into the ground. "The- The elders still tell me stories... Maybe... Maybe I could tell you the stories they tell me? Then you can still hear them." [/blockquote]

cascaderain.Laughing, Cascaderain mewed, "Eww, Creekpaw! I'm a girl, y'know. I dun wanna kill anybody!" her whiskers twitched as she continued, thoughtful. "But then again, I do love playfightin'. It's kinda kiddish but I know you don't mind, but all the other warriors would think I was weird if they saw me doin' it. I guess real fightin' and playfightin' are two diff'rent things, huh? Like, when'ya playfight you dun' mean t'hurt nobody. But then in real fights you gotta get all bloody, and y'gotta kill..." she shuddered, a shiver rippling her white pelt. She would never want to harm another cat like that, whether they were from another Clan or not. "... I dunno. I guess I like learnin' how t'fight, but I'd never want t'actually do it."
For a moment, Creekpaw looked hesitant. The older she-cat tipped her head to the side, watching her friend curiously, eyes intent. "Oh, Creekpaw! That'd be perfect!" she exclaimed suddenly, jumping up and pressing her cheek to his. "If you did that for me, I'd owe you, like, forever. It would mean so, so, so much t'me!" Cascaderain grinned from ear to ear. In her eyes, Creekpaw was so nice, so kind... he was just so great!

Creekpaw we can pop bottles all night and baby you can have whatever you like "You don't gotta kill," Creekpaw pouted, his friend's accent rubbing off on the young tom. The silver siamese looked rather put out as he stared at the ground glumly. "You get to fight all these famous warriors like, uhm, like, like Flarewind and Brokencalling an' an' an' uh.... you know the really famous ones? Like Fadedmemory and Slatesky. One day all those other Clan apprentices will dream at the thought of fighting Cascaderain and the mighty Creekstar!" he put him cheerfully at the end of the sentence, as the tom had run out of warriors to name. After naming the two deputies and that scary looking scarred tom from SerenityClan, Creekpaw had run out of options. His tail flicked up and down quickly as the tom shuffled his paws. He bit the inside of his cheek, drawing in breath for his next statement. Cascaderain always made him want to talk.
"Awesome!" the tom exclaimed, leaping to his feet as Cascaderain agreed to his proposal. Realizing his outburst, Creekpaw looked down in embarrassment. But the moment didn't last long. He bent down into a crouch, blue eyes shining. "They were telling this story where this TigerClan warrior was stalking this male badger because the badger had killed his mate," Creekpaw made a roaring noise, leaping gentle through the air to lash out with his paws. Keeping his claws sheathed, he turned to Cascaderain and lowered his voice. "Then one night when he sleeping... there was a sound in the undergrowth. Stripedfur turned around, fur bristling. But there was nothing there. The warrior was about to go back to sleep when...." the tom bunched his muscles.
"RAWR!" Creekpaw leapt at Cascaderain, tackling her and knocking her to the ground. The tom twitched his whiskers. "The badger knocked him down to the ground. D'you think 'Stripedfur' can get out? I'm on top now," 'the badger' nudged 'Stripedfur' playfully with his nose.
ooc|| incase it isn't clear, creek is being the badger in the story xD [/blockquote]

cascaderain.Cascaderain smiled again and sat down beside Creekpaw, mulling over his ideas on battle. She couldn't say she agreed, but he had a point, it would be exciting to go up against the most famous cats in the forest. "Mmkay, you win, O mighty Creekstar, but if y'ever get to go inta battle with one of those guys, make sure y'dun' die, kay? 'Cause I'd never ever want you to die in a battle. If you're gonna die -- and, umm, I'm not sayin' that I want you to die, I've hate it and I'd never ever be happy again, but if you absolutely positively had to... I'd want you to die a nice, happy death." She looked to the ground, her gaze hard. She didn't want anyone to die. It was just too sad. The white she-cat twisted her mouth into a frown and mumbled, "Yeah, um, sorry and stuffs. I know that's weird t'talk about."
She perked up when he perked up, however, and she settled in for her first story in a while. She let herself fall to the ground and fixed wide, blue eyes on Creekpaw, grinning the whole while. Her expression turned to that of amazement as he began, the story coming to life in her mind. She didn't dare inturrupt, she didn't dare make a peep like she did when the elders had told her stories. Creekpaw was the best storyteller ever, she concluded as he trailed off, leaving suspense and a mysterious feel in the air. Suddenly he pounced at her, and she did a double-take before he landed right on top of her.
She would have answered his question right away, but she was laughing too hard. Her ribs shook as she laughed, almost unable to stop, a purr rumbling in her throat. Finally, between giggles, she meowed, "Haha, of course Stripedfur can get up! Stripedfur is the bestest warrior in all of Eclipse-- err, TigerClan! The stupid badger is no match for the almighty Stripedfur!" with that she tried to roll him off, shove him off, anything, but she found she couldn't. This made her laugh harder.
ooc: Slatesky's famous? xD

Creekpaw we can pop bottles all night and baby you can have whatever you like Creekpaw held her down, eyes glinting with amusement. He kept his body tense, aware that the pretty warrior would probably try to throw him off. His body language yelled out 'challenge!', but the way the young apprentice was shaking with supressed laughs gave away his cheerful demanour. His blue eyes watched hers as the chubby tom pushed her down. None of the apprentices really playfighted with him. Well, they did, but not very well. Creekpaw almost always one with the apprentices his age, but when the older ones played they were harsh and mean. If the older ones played. Most of them considered themselves above playfighting, but not Creekpaw. Apparently, Cascaderain didn't consider herself above it either. Playfighting with the white warrioress was always so much fun. It didn't feel like she was a warrior and he was an apprentice. No, it felt right.
Cascaderain laughed and tried to throw him off. It didn't work, and the siamese 'badger' burst into laughter as well. Holding her down tighter, Creekpaw brought his muzzle down close to hers. Twitching his whiskers, the tom let out a snort of laughter. "Looks like the mighty Stripedfur, warrior of 'EclipseTigerClan', isn't so mighty now, is he?" he chuckled softly, but not in the evil manner that was so common among villains nowadays. "Want to know how the story ends? The badger eats him. Alive!" with that, Creekpaw bent down and gently licked the top of Cascaderain's muzzle.
ooc|| apparently xD I wanted to put in one of your kitties. [/blockquote]

cascaderain.Cascaderain kept laughing, squirming and thrashing under Creekpaw's grip. It should be a disgrace, to be taken down so easily by an apprentice, but Cascaderain didn't mind. Nothing was bad when Creekpaw was around. She wanted him around all the time, not just when they were playing or had time away from their duties. She would go out for a hunt and think about him sometimes, laughing when she remembered how silly he looked when they playfought as apprentices. He understood her. He made her happy. Her ribs ached from laughing, her jaw hurt from talking, her eyes were bright as she rolled in the dirt and mud. This was what life was supposed to be - not just a long, lonely line of duties to do day in and day out. She liked being a warrior, but she liked being different even more.
"Eat me? Alive?" the white pelted she-cat laughed as Creekpaw licked her muzzle, and, without thinking, she gave him a quick lick over the ear. With a sudden burst of energy she rolled away from him, jumping to her paws and meowing (with a look that didn't really seem all that dead serious but it was for Cascaderain) "I'm dead serious, Creekpaw, you're my best friend," she meowed, meaning every word. Cross her heart and hope to die. For ever and ever. [/blockquote]

Creekpaw we can pop bottles all night and baby you can have whatever you like Creekpaw was laughing; laughing so much. His legs were trembling from the sounds escaping his silver muzzle. He lost the strength that wa sholding her down and the tom couldn't hold onto her as she burst away from him. That lick on the ear didn't help, either. Creekpaw was dazed, remembering the feeling of her tongue rasping against his ear. Warmth spread through the chubby siamese and he turned over to watch her, blue eyes wide with amusement. The badger had one, but that didn't matter now. They were having fun, and all the tension that had been between them due to Cascaderain becoming a warrior had vanished. Creekpaw didn't even care anymore. The silver tom shuffled his paws happily, jaw dropping as Cascaderain suddenly became serious.
He was her best friend? Ever? Creekpaw searched her eyes for a trick or a catch, but the apprentice couldn't find any. She really was dead serious. Creekpaw felt another rush of warmth, warming him from toes to ears. The water had evaporated, and even the mud in his fur was crumbling away. "Cascaderain..." he murmured in return, duckng his head. What to say? The tom raised his gaze to meet hers. "You're my best friend too. In the whole wide world. And you're the best best friend ever. Everyone else is gonna be so jealous," he added cheerfully. [/blockquote]
