*Cyanpaw* [keep me with you]
[or keep me away] Cyanpaw glanced towards Thunderdance, her eyes slightly shining at the thought of having two cats teach her things her former mentor couldn't. "That would be good. But do we have to wait until Firestar returns? It will be night fall and........." She trailed off, shivering at the thought of being out at night, with Toxicpaw's mentor still on the loose. "But if we can't go out....It can wait till tommorow." She mewed, her voice returning to it's normal, quiet self.

Icefrost looked at her mate. Her green eyes dropped tot he ground as she told her about all the ded and injuered. When he asked about Sapphireheart her head snapped up and her whole body trembled. 'Yes, Sapphireheart knows about her mate..... She had to go through labor with out her mate....' Icefrost trried to keep back the tears, 'and I didn't help either....... I froze....... I feel like I have betrayed a friend...... I didn't even know what to say when she found out about her mate.' Icefrost let a couple of tears escape from her green eyes. She looked at the ground ashamed of her self, not wanting anything to do with herself. She didn't look back at Sorrowflight, as she evoided his gaze.[/sup]

thunderdance Her pale green eyes lingered on the kind Queen Icefrost for a moment, sparkling sadly as her paws twitched in effort of remaining stuck to the ground, as she knew, or thought, attempting to comfort the crying she cat would be no use. She was, it sounded, ashamed she froze up so badly after hearing the news about Justicefaith, Sapphireheart's dead mate. Although she was happy for Icefrost and herself, that both their dear friends came back, a portion of her heart wanted to go check up on the other she cat, but she knew in a situation with all of those squirmy kits made her some what nervous, as much as she loved the more whole, older kits who didn't seem as fragile as china dolls, easy to break and rip.
Meanwhile she stared at her white paws, mind ablaze with thinking as she curved into another topic, Scorchedleaf seemed to be her current favorite as her mind switched to there every other thought constantly. She couldn't help thinking of how his starclan kin still visited him - the mate obviously still felt a lot of love for him - and she couldn't help imagining herself in the other she cats place, watching in starclan, helpless her mates friend was falling in love with her mate. Her head finally, gracefully in a single movement, turned upward as she studied Scorchedleaf, attempting to search out what he thought of her. Not able to see anything obvious, she figured she would have to pretend for the rest of her life having a sisterly love for the tom. "Well, we're battle training now... right now, I think. We're just doing hunting... or something" she looked at Scorchedleaf for direction, unsure how he wanted to train his apprentice "later...". Her head bobbed as he mentioned the way they would train Cyanpaw for battle, so she smiled, her paws shoving her body upward to warm up her leg.

Scorchedleaf swiveled his ears in Cyanpaw's direction then replied. 'Don't worry, Cyanpaw. We don't have to go out tonight. I remember about Toxicpaw. We can work on that fear when you're ready. Don't worry, when you go out at night for the first time, I'll make sure Thunderdance is with us. I think she'll always be with us.' The last part of that statement was to be 'be with me', though Scorchedleaf felt it would make Cyanpaw feel awkward. He looked over at Thunderdance with a meaning in his eyes that he tried to make them say, I love you. He didn't know if she'd understand, though. He focused his mind quickly back on his apprentice. 'Let's go find a good spot in the clearing for hunting. You already know all the borders, right?' He questioned Cyanpaw.
ooc;; Tell me if it's too soon for Scorchedleaf to express his feelings, please, Bliar =][/sup]

ooc; nope, anytime soon is good. wait any longer and thunderdance is going to beat herself up emotionally and scorchedleaf is going to have a weird she cat following him who secretly loves him, but pretends to have sisterly emotions for him his whole life >XD thunderdance The warrioress tried to best to discreetly study the tom, as he talked to Cyanpaw, then his handsome features seemed to drift over to her for a moment, there eyes meeting and Scorchedleafs seeming to try to say something, something strongly in emotion... yet the bad part about that is it could be hatred to love, jealousy or... sadness. Was he thinking about his mate and his daughter? Did her know of her feelings for him? Mousedung! Perhaps someone told him. But... who? She didn't tell any... she could remember.
Her pale green eyes now danced over to Cyanpaw in her mixed motherly, calm style as she tried to cover her eyes from any emotions that may have stirred as she thought of Scorchedleaf, and what she felt of him. "I'll try to come to as most of the lessons as I can" she vowed, head bowing sincerely. Obviously she meant it, and as she observed her leg for a single moment, she had far more than borders and battle training on her mind.

ooc;; Okay, he's going to make it clear in this post.
bic;; Frustration was whelming up inside of Scorchedleaf as he thought Thunderdance didn't understand what he was trying to say. Enough of the hints, I'm going to tell her now. He summoned up the courage best he could, then started to talk. 'Thunderdance, I can't do this anymore. I can't pretend to be your friend. It's making me go crazy. I thought you'd find it obvious by now. I - I - I-' Somehow he couldn't get the words out right. They were stuck in his throat. He thought about what he would say, then began again. 'That was corny. Okay, listen. I. Love. You.' He got the words out, but it was mewed in a whisper. He was afraid she wouldn't hear him. He looked at her anxiously, trying to see if he had made a grave mistake in what he said and just ruined their friendship.[/sup]

thunderdance She was hopeful, nervous, slightly tense. Would she ever be able to admit her feelings to Scorchedleaf without ruining their friendship? Would he figure out, and say they could be friends no longer? Her pale green eyes glinted with emotion as she studied Cyanpaw for a moment, wishing to have a private moment with the tom but knowing she could not shoo away her friends new apprentice. She didn't feel right doing it, because it was not her apprentice. It was his. She watched him think, and as he began to talk, she shivered, sat back down, and wrapped her tail protectively around her body. He found out!
She assumed he was going to finish it, I can't be friends with you any longer. He didn't love her, or even like her. Perhaps his mate and daughter were angry! She waited for him to finish patiently, looking away, before a shy smile spread itself against her face as she processed what he had said, and before peering nervously around her clan and to his apprentice, she stepped closer to him, pale eyes blinking nervously, "Really? Oh, Thank StarClan!" her voice sung into Scorchedleaf's ear, her frame pressed against his as she tried to make sure no one heard. "I love you too - I was afraid... you have a daughter and a mate in StarClan, no?" she finally admitted, eyes sparkling.

wovenknot. we are broken what must we do to restore
our innocence Wovenknot touched her nose gently to Cardinalspire's shoulder. The grey tabby she-cat led him from the trees. Her light blue eyes blazed with love for him. She didn't care who saw. She was free. It was her life. She didn't care for the age gap between them. It was what they had, not what anybody else thought, that truly mattered. The threelegged MoonClan deputy sat down beside her mate, her tail curling around her three silver paws. She took a deep, shuddering breath. It felt so odd, so... So beautiful to be loved like this. She had never thought she would be loved. Limestone and Secretcalling obviously didn't love her very much, or they wouldn't have left. Wovenknot thought of the cats she loved the most, Dovefeathers, Silentmoon, Spindlespider, Firestar, and now Cardinalspire, and held them close to her heart like a twoleg kit with their teddy bear.[/blockquote]

The black and white femme slunk back into camp behind Saintcalling, splitting off from him to sit by herself. He would need to spend time with Dawnpaw and anyway, she needed time by herself. To think. She couldnt believe what had just happened. She felt almost disgusted in herself, about how quickly she seemed to have gotten over the death of Shadowprowler. Darkmagic then turned her gaze to Saintcalling. But she knew in her heart that she really did love the mysterious tom. Had she always loved him? That she didnt know. But now she did and that was all that mattered.
She started to hear noise. Voices, dozens of voices could be heard in the clearing but it was still fuzzy. Slowly, she opened her eyes. Everything was blurry still but sher could tell she was in MoonClans medicine cat den. Rosepaw (now newly named Roseglade, but she didnt know that) sat up and groaned, her head pounding. She remembered the battle. Her sight soon returned to her right eye but she was still slightly blurry in her left. She shook her head fiercely, willing it to become clear but she knew in her heart that she was now partially blind. Staggering, she limped outside, the gash on her shoulder still bloody and sore. Catching sight of her brother she stumbled her way over to him, sitting down beside him. "Cardinalpaw" she said, touching her nose to his. She kep[t her head turned ever so slightly to the right so she could see him properly. "What have i missed?"[/blockquote]

Spindlespider paced around in circles as he always did when he was confused. He loved Wovenknot, he always had, but now that she was with Cardinalspire, she looked so happy, and...he didn't mind that he couldn't ever be with her. He didn't feel hurt by the fact that she had wanted someone else, even though she was all he had ever wanted.

Scorchedleaf felt as though a great weight was lifted from his shoulders. He sighed happily as she leaned against him. He heard her question. 'I'm sure she would want me to be happy. I am happy with you. Do not worry about them, they will accept you. As I do. I just... am so happy.' He smiled at her and pressed against her. He noticed Cyanpaw again and hastily sat up. 'Sorry, Cyanpaw. That must've been awkward.' He smiled at her.[/sup]

ooc; Oh my. Cyanpaw sounds like a counselor x'D thunderdance She listened patiently to Scorchedleaf, soaking every word he said in, trusting him completely - though then again, he never did give her a reason to not trust him. It was amazing how much he suddenly meant to her, how much better it felt now than she didn't have to bury her feelings for the tom. She felt silly, definitely, that she hadn't realized what he had said before. His mate in StarClan obviously wanted him to be happy down here, and if that was with another she cat, she couldn't strangle him from love - they had their times, even with a daughter, and now all they could do was wait... she felt sympathy for him, but she would treasure her times with him too.
As Scorchedleaf finished she nodded, a relieved smile capturing her pretty face, pale green eyes alight. Then she looked at Cyanpaw, and smiled embarrassedly, and admired how maturely she took the situation that her mentor had just confessed to his love, now mate, right in front of her. She coughed softly, before studying Cyanpaw, and in tune with her mate she stood up, flexing her leg, and then looked back at the apprentice, Cyanpaw's mentor, and then back at Cyanpaw, her gaze shifting to-and-fro for awhile. "When shall we start the battle training again?" she pretended to forget, really just ready to be side tracked from this conversation until they had a private moment.

ooc; Thunderdance needs to speak to her about the rogue she met at The Thunderpath, Rio...thunderdance Blinking self consciously at Cyanpaw and Scorchedleaf for a moment, her pale green eyes watched as the leader made her way to her den, and feelings aside after not being picked as a mentor and ignored when she asked to go on the patrol, a quiet brave smile had sneaked it's way onto her mainly white furred face, and with a nuzzle into the tom's shoulder, she padded away slowly for a moment, gathering her thoughts, before she tilted her head to look backward at her... mate. 'Wish me luck' her green eyes hoped to send to him, sparkling, and dipping her head to his apprentice before she let her paws dance quicker toward the leader.
Outside her den, she scanned the clan, heart leaping in a nervous manor, her stomach twisting, afraid how Firestar would react, or how little she would react. "Firestar?" she gave herself permission to stick her head just inside, waiting for acceptance to come in, stretched her leg, and sat down, tail curling around her neutrally hued paws before she wondered why, in the first place, at her age, was she afraid of the leader?

Instantly Firestar sat up, having heard her name being called. Enter, Thunderdance. she meowed pleasantly. What seems to be wrong? She asked. As she waited for an answer, she twisted her head to was her pelt. She noticed a scar on her side which looked like it was deep and almost killed her. Immediately, she remembered her fight with Hexx. The way the she-cat had almost killed her. Remembering Hexx made her think about the scent she had caught on patrol near the Thunderpath. How it had smelled like her bitter enemy! But there was something different. She finally just now clicked it into her head. Hexx's daughter... She thought. Then she lifted her head and looked evenly at Thunderdance, waiting for a reply.

thunderdance Waiting... waiting... and the moment of sweet truth came when the leader had invited her into her den. The white pelted warrioress lifted her hueless paw to wave at Scorchedleaf and his apprentice, pale green eyes aflame with worry and doubt, but showing a bit of pride for being the only one in MoonClan to know of this happening. She had to tell the leader - afraid for Firestar's life. With a single stretch of her back leg, flexing it, she peered into the den for a single moment before walking in gracefully, tail swept low and against her side to show respect for the she cat, she let her green eyes gather the leaders frame in, and blinked, hoping to cover her feelings within their grasps.
"Thank you" she sat down, dipping her head to Firestar and thanking her for being let in to her den, her tail wrapping around her matching colored paws, the warrioress looked majestic in her own right. "A few days ago, as you may recall, Ghostnight," she paused in respect for the dead warrior, hoping he went to a good place "Scorchedleaf, and I, were attacked by a fox on our hunting patrol. We were injured, me probably greatest of all, and I choose to stay back to let my leg heal" she glanced back at her leg for a moment, which she tried not to let stick out noticeably, like most injured legs do. "While your battle group was off fighting The Tribe, I went out for a walk, originally planning to go toward Silver Rocks - wait for the moon to fall so it can glow silver, but the smell of rogue was overpowering... and I decided there must be one near" she nodded sadly, tongue sweeping around her mouth and searched for a spot to continue, "there was one, sitting in the middle of The Thunderpath when I got there, and I told her to get out of the retched Thunderpath, knowing and warning her how many had died doing the same thing..." she paused again, this time for breath, realizing she was talking faster than usual "she was a dapple brown tabby, with indigo-blue eyes, never once did she speak of her name, nor I of mine..." she trashed the deeper side of their conversation where she was seeking to know why she was here, and skipped to the more important part, eyes narrowing before she spoke, and a deep inhale was taken as she summoned her memory. "She asked me to tell you this: 'Remember a rogue you fought moons ago as Firewind. Remember how she was murdered on this land. She has returned'" she sighed, knowing this could not be good news, and looked up at her leader, a frown had taken her own expression, her long pause showing she was finished.

An old haunted look had fallen upon her eyes as she was given the news. It is as I feared... Hexx's daughter has sworn revenge... She whispered. Then she shook her head. Thunderdance, thank you for letting me know this. She managed a smile and left her den, signaling that she wanted the she-cat to follow. Then she leaped onto the Raven's Ledge and summoned her clan. This will not take long. She promised. Thunderdance, please tell the clan what you have witnessed. She asked the she-cat.

"Hey, sis!" he said, touching noses to her. "Guess what!? Firestar performed our ceremonies while you were sleeping. You're Roseglade now." He chanted her name to give her the miniature effect of a warrior's ceremony. "And I'm Cardinalspire." He puffed out his chest proudly. "Wovenknot and Spectreflame are the best teachers, aren't they? Scorchedleaf wished Thunderdance luck as she left to talk to Firestar. He turned to Cyanpaw then answered her. 'Well, are you sure? It is getting near twilight.' He wondered if the she-cat would be okay going out at twilight. He asked for concern, not to bug the apprentice. Emeraldpaw, overhearing this conversation, chose this time to intervene. 'Why don't I get my mentor and we can go out together? That way, we can train together, and Aerialpaw can come too.' And so I won't have to put up with my mentor on my own. He finished his sentence as a thought. He looked to Cyanpaw, not wanting Scorchedleaf to answer for her. Scorchedleaf, unfortunately, answered. 'Well, I think Cyanpaw wants to go out on her own.' He answered as kindly as possible. Emeraldpaw just glared at him. 'You don't understand. I need to protect her from this tribe thing.' Scorchedleaf started to lose his temper. He understood why the apprentice wanted to come, but did he not realize that she was going out with an experienced warrior? Apparently not. 'Fine. What do you think, Cyanpaw? It's your decision. do you want your brothers to come?' He sat down and awaited her answer. Emeraldpaw sat beside Cyanpaw to try to convince her to let him come with them. 'It'll be fun. The three of us, with our mentors. Come on!' Scorchedleaf glared at the apprentice, his patience thinning. 'You will listen to me as I am a warrior. Do not persuade her to make any decision. She might want to just go out alone.' Emeraldpaw returned the glare and sat, awaiting Cyanpaw's answer.[/sup]

thunderdance The white striped black warrioress just dipped her head gracefully to the leader, pulling herself out of her comfortable position, and to her paws. "It's my job, Firestar" she said softly, shrugging as she watched the leader get up, and then summoned her to follow. Okay... I can do this. Not like she's actually going to make me tell that Clan what has and as she made her way up to the Raven's Ledge just behind her leader, she smiled nervously as Firestar asked politely of Thunderdance to do just that, but she must do what she must do, so with her nervous pale green eyes seeking out the comforting figure of her mate, she began.
"I went out earlier today to stretch my leg, as earlier the days before I went out on a patrol and hurt myself making sure a certain fox knows where it's supposed to be - and not to be in our lands" she paused, her tongue sweeping her mouth again in the same uncomfortable manor as she had done privately talking to the leader "so I had to stay back when Firestar took the group that was fighting The Tribe. At first, my plan was to go watch the moon settle on the Silver Rocks - to watch them glow in the moonlight" she nodded reasonably, her whiskers twitching in emotion "before I got there, thought, I spotted a strong scent of a rogue - and knew there must've been one around recently, or one simply right there waiting for someone." Pausing bitterly, she shook her head "I found her on The Thunderpath, sitting in the middle. I warned her if she stayed there longer, she would be killed by the monsters like many brave cats before her... she was a dapple brown tabby, with indigo-blue eyes." She stopped again for a second, catching her breath and watching every cats reaction before she concluded what she had been through "She told me to tell my leader this: 'Remember a rogue you fought moons ago as Firewind. Remember how she was murdered on this land. She has returned'" she stopped talking again, this time because she was finished, and looked at Firestar to conclude what she thought of this rogue.

Roseglade The light ginger femmes mouth dropped open at the first part of her brothers sentence. She was a warrior! A flicker of doubt crossed her face and she looked uncertain for a moment. Would her slight blindness make a difference to her warriorhood. Her left eye would remain blurry always, she knew that. She snapped back to attention as Cardinalspire spoke again, her face twitching into a weak smile. ]"Yeah, Spectreflame and Wovenknot are the best" she said quietly, looking around. "I should really go find Spectreflame later, to say thank you." She turned her head to look hard at Cardinalspire again. "I take it you've already thanked Wovenknot?" she asked her brother, flicking her tail absent mindedly. [/sub]

Firestar nodded her head in thanks to the she-cat. It seems Hexx has a daughter. I want the evening patrol to do a sweep around the border there, and see if that rogue is still there. If she is, send a warrior to fetch me. She ordered, I want to talk to her. With that, she dipped her head and padded into her den again.

Emeraldpaw looked as though he was going to protest. He changed his mind, then stalked away, angry that he couldn't protect his sister. He turned back and spoke to Cyanpaw. 'Sorry, you know I just want to make sure you're okay, right?' The guilt racked him again as he spoke to her, he thought of his siblings. He shook his head to clear it then went to sit by himself near the Apprentice's den.
Scorchedleaf turned away from Emeraldpaw to face Cyanpaw. 'Okay. Would you like to do battle training or hunting?' Scorchedleaf knew he should be choosing himself, but he didn't want Cyanpaw to do something she really didn't want to do.[/sup]

But then he had always been a big fan of the she-cat, Roseglade just hadnt thought he was that fond of her. shaking her head fiercly she gave a wide grin. What stupid thoughts she was having, she should be happy for her brother! Who cared about the age difference between him and Wovenknot! My heart is full again... Scorchedleaf
Scorchedleaf looked at his apprentice. 'Yeah, we can do that! Why don't we do half tonight, before it gets too dark, then finish the other half tomorrow?' He stood up, stretching his limbs. He looked up to see Thunderdance, then signaled to her that he was going out with his apprentice. He went to the camp entrance and waited for Cyanpaw.
You can't tell me what to do... EmErAlDpAw
Emeraldpaw looked to Chautreusestep. 'Can we start training now?' Much as he hated his mentor, he wanted to start training. 'Please?' He added in a resigned voice. He looked over to where Cyanpaw was. Why can she get along with her mentor when I can't? He hung his head as he thought about that. Fear suddenly coused through his veins as he thought about going out with his mentor. He sat down, wrapping his tail even tighter around his paws.
